Fabulous food and speedy delivery

I cannot tell you in words how good the food and service are here it is beyond words, exceptional outstanding. We have never had a bad meal from here always prompt polite service and warm well flavoured food. Please keep up the good work. I see you are one of the top 3 in Eastbourne that does not surprise me

The server was honest about what's fresh and what tastes good. We appreciate the honesty and were informed that Kerala paratha isn't authentic, and to go with Roti or naan that's freshly made. We are vegetarian, we went with his recommendation and they made a vegetarian version of Chetinad curry. Rotis and naan were freshly made and good. We also liked the mushroom fried rice that they served.

I have always been a huge fan of Kerala, however I feel that the standards have slipped over the past few months. The food often arrives cold and late.

Very poor quality and taste. Serving Bangladeshi food in name of Kerala cuisine/ south Indian food. They are cheating people , using the name "Kerala".

Keralites dont think they serve Kerala food, they only have the name “ Kerala Flavours “it’s Bangladeshi food 💯.. The owner must change the name to Balti House or some thing..Please don’t cheat😡😡😡🤬🥵

The food was cold when it arrived, the Korma was watery and none of the meat dishes had good flavour. They also forgot to add in the mango chutney we ordered. I would not order from them again sadly.

Chips were so undercooked. The chicken over cooked. Sauce was tasty. Sag aloo was ok.

Would not recommend ordering from here. Food took 2 hours to arrive after being told it would be an hour. Called repeatedly to which I was informed it would only be 15 minutes each time. Was hung up on when asking to cancel order and get a refund.

Food was ok but was delivered over 30 mins late and was cold on arrival. Driver rang the bell and was half way back down my path by the time I answered the door, presumably so he didn’t get an earful. The restaurant update the just eat app to say it had been delivered 25mins before it had actually been delivered so that it looked better for them. Don’t think I’ll be ordered from them again.

This was one of the worst Indians we have had, not only was it 30 mins late, so it was Luke warm but the dhansak was too garlicky it over powered the food, the madras had so much salt in it, it was inedible and the Passanda had no coconut flavour just yogurt and the onion bhajis were tiny and greasy. Will never order here again. What a waste of £40!

Repeatedly told the order would be 15 minutes on multiple calls. After 2 hours had still not arrived. Asked to cancel order and for a refund to which the store hung up. Not impressed. Will not be a repeat customer.

ordered at 5:30 for a 7pm delivery. arrived just before 8pm. I believe the order was missed and wasn't cooked until I asked why it was late. it was also cold. such a shame as the flavour is great.

I have to say I have not enjoyed a meal as much as this one for a long time

Poppadoms good, tandoori chicken excellent. Not much meat in the lamb Rogan josh. Maybe three pieces. The lamb itself was tepid, but tomatoes were nice and hot. Rice and bread delicious. Thanks very much! 👍 I will be back

Cheating cheating Serving Bangladeshi food with Kerala name Went to the restaurant to enjoy Kerala food by seeing the name” Kerala taste “and they are serving Bangladesh food .I think the staff over there think Kerala food means more spicy As a Keralite I don’t recommend this restaurant to anyone .Don’t underestimate the taste of Kerala food after eating from this restaurant.Kerala’s foods are tastier

Food was about an hour late and not really up to Kerala’s usual standard. Main were disappointing, we had to play hunt the meat in a sea of sauce.

Usually wouldn't complain as normally love the food here but last night me and fiance ordered and when our food arrived firstly the delivery driver was extremely rude to my other half then onto the food my chicken dansak had no taste which was disappointing as again one of my favourites and my other half we believe recieved the wrong curry entirely will pop into restaurant when open today to make a complaint (edit after went in)...... Manager seemed to feel a basic excuse of it being a busy friday and the chef might of put wrong ingredients in dishes unfortunately wont be returning

Korma & tikka masala take like Chinese curry

First time here and Wow, one of the best Indians I have had in a long time, so much flavour in all of our dishes, was hot, tender chicken and lovely spices. Will definitely order again

Treated to a gorgeous dinner here by my dearest friends , they eat here often, loved the flavours and polite helpful staff he explained some different dishes heat intensity. Plenty veggie dishes for the wife and my go to favourites yummy. Will definitely be back, thank you 😊

I always order from Kerala Flavours. The food is tasty and always delivered on time. However, for the last two orders the portion sizes are significantly reduced. All three main dishes were half full. Considering the rise in price, this is really disappointing.

ordered at 7pm received at 9.05pm that is a bit of a liberty, and also just a sorry when i complained to the manager, nothing heart felt, & considering when I go there, they always receive a decent tip. i will think twice now about other locations.

The worst Indian meal I've ever had greasy keema naan three vindaloo curry's that didn't even rate as spicy as a kurma sag aloo just 3 lumps of potato no spinach as for King prawn butterfly two prawns and a dry semolina and bread crumb pancake only edible thing was the papadoms 70% of the meals went into the bin what a waste of £100

waited an hour past expected delivery time, called the restaurant 3 times chasing and each time they said it was on route. the communication was very bad, however the food was one of the best... would order again, just 2 hours in advance.

Terrible Tikka Masala, both chicken and vegetable. I doubt that any yoghurt or cream was added as should and the vegetable dish consisted of one chunk of potato and some very limp and overcooked beans. I couldn’t identify any other veg in amongst the mush. However, the worst thing for us was that they were MUCH too sweet! Awful food

my order came earlier then stated but it was warm to being cold and not hot so i had to put it in the microwave to heat it back up.i shouldn't of had to reheat my dinner on delivery to be able to then eat it.your shop is only 5 minutes around the corner from my house so it should of been piping hot.

It's all our fault. I don't want to blame anyone else. It's my fault for expecting authentic Kerala food when I saw the restaurant's name. It's my fault for ordering masala dosa, anticipating a Kerala-style masala dosa with chutney and sambar, as the menu mentioned. This is the first time in my life I've had such a disappointing masala dosa, served with some vegetable curry, curd, and pickles—a new version of masala dosa, I suppose. It's my fault for expecting Kerala paratha; it's not the restaurant's fault that they served paratha bought from local stores. It's my fault for expecting authentic tandoori and Chettinad chicken, not theirs that we ended up with the worst chicken curry we've ever had. It's our fault for visiting several restaurants here and expecting authentic Kerala tea and coffee, leading to yet another terrible experience. It's not wrong to tell customers if certain dishes can't be served authentically—people will understand. Sorry for my fault.

Me with family went to the restaurant expecting authentic kerala food. Ordered Masala dosa and Kerala Paratta with Chettinad Chicken dish. Totally Disappointed seeing Masala Dosa for which the restaurant charged £11. Very small in size like normal dosa and vegetable mix spread across. Also the paratha was funny. I think it is not what is being cooked but the packet paratta we buy 6 for £2.99 from local stores. Per paratta it is £3 above charged. Even no drinking water was served which every restaurant does free of cost. I think the restaurant people including chef should once visit the similar kind of kerala food providers in Crawley/London and feel the taste and way they serve food even cheaper than this. It is not about paying money but this is lot of money for nothing. We also expect kerala style tea and coffee, but that too was waste of money for £2.5. Please ensure that along with charging so much you fill the stomach as well as the customer’s mind with good food.

Such amazing tasting food here. They can adapt any dish for you. Whether you like mild medium or fire in your mouth lol. Lovely staff. Very polite. I am always having dinner in this restaurant. 5*

It was a little late in the day, coming in with a colleague after work at around nine o'clock. We were the only customers, greeted warmly by the young waiter. My butter chicken arrived pretty much cold. I awoke in the night with the meal repeating on me, almost sick. I have been sea swimming, but the SSRS app reports no pollution dumping of late. It is impossible to be certain in this case of several days illness, but I won't be returning.

We went to Kerala Flavours last night as a large family group. The restaurant was busy with a great vibe (mostly from us chatting and laughing loudly), the staff were their usual friendly and helpful selves and the food was all delicious and came out all together and hot. We tried a few different dishes and they've become our new favourites (especially the Lamb Rahra, spicy and full of flavour). I cannot recommend this indian restaurant enough. A firm favourite.

I have eaten in, and had takeaways from Kerala Flavours, and like to try different dishes. Every one has been exceptional, large fresh portions, lots of flavour and the staff including the delivery drivers are always friendly and easy to talk to. Highly recommend 👍👍

I have been at this restaurant last week with my friends. Foods were very delicious 😋 cause they use very fresh spices Also the staff of this restaurant who are very friendly and helpful.In addition, I had good opportunity to bring my own drinks 🍷 as well.Total I had amazing experience from them .

This restaurant is not authentic South Indian cuisine, it’s a up the street Bangladeshi restaurant and food is very average. I ordered masala dosa which is a classic southern Indian food but what I was served was nothing like it. It was small filler of potatoes and oily fried pancakes in a small quantity. Price was also very high for the product served. Poor quality of chutney probably taken out of the freezer. , The receptionist was not helpful, I asked him that this is not what masala dosa looks like but he was not interested in the quality of food served. I would suggest not visit if you think you are getting kerala food these are new Bengali owners and have no knowledge of South Indian food. All in all very disappointing food.

Worst food, I’ve had a take away today evening. ❌ I only came to the restaurant from peacehaven to Easterbourne thinking it’s a Kerala restaurant, I can’t even call it an Indian restaurant. ❌Please do change your restaurant name and stop using the name “KERALA” to get customers. ❌This is the worst tandoori chicken I ever had in my life this one smelled like milk and there was onions all over the chicken soaked in oil. ❌I couldn’t even eat any of these food. I ordered chicken tikka biriyani and normal chicken biriyani but both were same and I couldn’t even find a difference in the taste.

Order the same Curry from this restaurant at least 3-4 times per Month yet it tastes different everytime and not necessarily for the better. The quality is too inconsistent possibly due to different Chefs involvement .I've Ordered from enough Indian Restaurants to get a rough idea of what to expect from the particular Curry I've ordered yet this Restaurant throws me a curve ball everytime. Sometimes it hits and other times it misses but overall I never really know what to expect.

Go to choice these days for a take away , never been disappointed

After calling the restaurant to see where my order was, I was told that there was a problem with JustEat and they did not have my order, despite payment being taken and order confirmed, and there was nothing they could do. So, I tried contacting JE and when I could not find a way to do so, I called the restaurant again who still advised they did not have my order and gave me a number to call. THEN 30 minutes later, my order arrives! I am told by the driver "the restaurant internet went down" - Ok... At least my food is now here... Sadly, my Prawn Poori was lukewarm and utterly tasteless. The Poori bread was thick and heavy, the prawns were overcooked and solid in texture. My mixed Biryani also completely tasteless and not fresh at all. The veg curry was tasteless and just full of cabbage and two large potatoes, barely any sauce to the curry. I called the restaurant to complain and ask for a refund and was told they would collect the food to taste what I had opened before refunding me! Not exactly professional hygiene to taste what has already been opened and touched by someone else, but I agreed to them collecting to obtain my refund. But then I was told there was nothing they could do as I ordered via JE!!! Contradictory liars, and awful food. REALLY DISAPPOINTED, WILL NOT RETURN AND WILL BE TRYING TO GET A REFUND VIA JE INSTEAD!

We ordered 3 dishes but all of them had no flavor at all. The welcome and service was pleasant and enthusiastic but without good food it comes down to nothing. Wasted one evening meal on my holiday at this place. And the music was quite loud as well. Avoid this place and explore other Indian restaurant options if you can.

The restaurant is very hygienic and food is just amazing. I and my boyfriend enjoyed our time here. The ambiance is lovely and the staff are very friendly and give great food suggestions as well.

We never knew this little restaurant was there, so close to our hotel and the excellent Marine pub, until recently. It was very quiet, but maybe that's normal for a Sunday evening, when we visited. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was good, flavoursome and, always a plus, hot and served on hot plates. A welcome bonus is that it is BYOB (bring your own booze), which greatly cuts down the bill (for us at least!). The staff happily provide you with drinking glasses. There is a Sainsbury's local store a few doors away, with a chilled drinks section, so no problem there. We enjoyed our time at Kerala Flavours and will most definitely be returning.

Fantastic Indian food and lovely staff. Quality and portion size are great, it's always a pleasure to eat there with friends and family. And don't forget, you can bring your own alcohol.

Lovely food, delicious, we both picked something from the Chefs Recommendation list. The breads were great with some interesting options and saag paneer, one of our faves, was brilliant.
