Dine India in Dover

Visited 07/09/2024 with a friend. Super polite staff who couldn't have done enough for you! They were so lovely, especially our waitress who was sweet and nice. Ordered poppadums first and they were, unfortunately, stale. But we ate them anyway! The dips were great! I've never had the spicy red one before, but it was so flavourful and had a nice kick! Beers were cold and tasty, as always. Ordered our mains and they were tasty! Portions perfectly reasonable too. My friend had rice with his and it was a perfect portion for one. I had cheese naan with my meal and I found that the chedder was overpowering when I was dipping into my curry, but as a cheese enjoyer I did still enjoy it! And for dessert, there's a small selection. My friend ordered a coconut icecream and said it was really coconutty and yummy. I ordered the kid's penguin (mostly because I remember them from when I was a child) but the ice cream was vanilla flavoured and a good portion for if you've not got "much room" for dessert. Will 100% go back if I'm in town. And to that waitress in particular, thank you for your service. You were wonderful.

Being to this restaurant for the first time, with hope to have nice meal but it was a disaster. Honestly this was the worst restaurant I have ever been to, the food are sooo sweet we couldn’t finish our food. Even the nann bread was sweet. Waste of money!!!

Absolutely the best vegan curries I’ve ever had - lots of options including side dishes. Will definitely be ordering again. Dishes were plentiful had enough for 2 days dinners. Delivery was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful.

After reading a couple of negative reviews, we were a bit concerned about eating here but we need not have been! We hadn't booked and it was Friday evening, but they fitted us in and we had the best Indian meal that we have had for ages. There was so much choice on the menu and the meal we had was so tasty. The waitress was lovely, the service was perfect, just the right pace. It may not look much from the outside but looks can be deceiving! If you come here for a meal you won't be disappointed - we will certainly be back next time we are in Deal,

Dine India I’ll say one thing: dine in-deyah🫵 scrumptious food still sizzling when the waiter wheeled it out on the trolley. I highly advise you to get a brinjal bhaji..

Manager bilegerant. Poppadoms cold , requested be heated up , they came back cold again ! Manager did not offer fresh or reheated Poppadoms ! Aloo Gobi and Chicken Tikka Makhani tasteless and little chicken ! Waiting time 20min due to emphasis on serving takeaways. Overall, a diabolical meal .

We looked for places to eat in Deal after a nice day out and unfortunately chose this restaurant. We did not enjoy the food here because it was very oily and both our dishes used paste and in the garlic chilli chicken, garlic pickle which has more oil so the dish was sickly and did not taste fresh. Each of the meat dishes had six pieces of small to medium pieces of chicken and six pieces of lamb in the Rogan Josh and the rice was in a small bowl and tiny. Come on, I know prices have gone up for everybody but this is mean. The vegetable dishes weren’t bad, but the tarka daal with little garlic and the naan bread was undercooked. The restaurant interior is a bit stale and quite depressing with no windows. In my opinion this is below average Bangladeshi food

Processed chicken strips masquerading as chicken breast in my jalfrazi takeaway. £9. Could have done that at home. Cheeky sods.

We were skeptical due to the reviews we saw prior to arriving. However we had a fantastic meal. Loved it and are both excited to come back. It was a Saturday night and it was very busy so the service was a bit slow. The curry made up for it. Loved it.

Never had a bad meal here and this was no exception! Robin and his staff were very attentive and the quality of the food excellent. I had the house mixed Biriani and my partner the duck shashlik preceded by samosas and prawn puree.

Restaurant was clean and well laid out ,friendly and attentive staff,good food at a good price will definitely return.

We visited dine India last week , it had good reviews so decided to give them a go , great food, great service and good vibes all together. The lady in the counter was very pleasant and welcoming . The food was exceptionally delicious and good value for money . P.S. we made it back to Andover and the car park was not locked 😁

Had a delivery tonight and it was awful, chicken was tough and over cooked, a side salad that was insulting and a murkani dish that had cheese in it! Never have I ever had that. I spoke to the restaurant to say I was not happy but recieved no apology and was told that's the way it is!!! Flabbergasted at that response, shame on you Dine India.

Ordered a takeaway. Quite basic order. Order got delayed but when arrived was luke warm. Chips and the onion Bharji were swimming in grease to a point when I went to pull out the bag of chips they fell through the bag. The korma was bland and so was the rice. The Narm bread was about the best thing but a lot smaller than other takeaways in the area. Would I use again, certainly not.

We had a takeaway. Chicken chat puree was inedible due to ridiculous amount of salt added. Truly disgusting and probably v bad for one’s health. Tandoori chicken, whilst tender, which is the only good thing I can say about it, was bland to the point of tasteless. The onion bhajis were just unpleasant. V doughy and undercooked with a bizarre aftertaste. Mint sauce was thin. Had to put the popadoms in the oven to crisp up a bit as on arrival were v bendy and not v nice. All in all a complete waste of money and a tad annoying. Possibly the worst Indian food I have eaten.

We arrived on the off chance just before 10 but were welcomed by the owners who had no hesitation about letting us dine even though it was just before close time. The service was amazing and the food delicious, and extremely reasonably price - less than 40 pounds for 2 meals and 4 drinks! Chicken pathea was delicious as was the chicken du pizza. Highly recommended

Normally have a good take away from here but have noticed that there are less potatoes and veg . Veg korma was literally just sauce and veg biryani was full of frozen unpleasant veg mix ( carrots chunks, sweetcorn and green beans ) the whole dish was one dimensional and could only taste chilli . It’s a shame as a vegetarian, I’m running out of options ! The quality has definitely gone downhill in last few years ! Maybe it’s changed hands !

Overall good experience, it’s a hidden gem that should be visited. good service and great food. Very tasty with no layer of fat. Great wine selection, food and drinks are priced very reasonably! Freshly cooked to order which is rare in an Indian restaurant. Il be back!

The shrinking curry ! We regularly order a vegetarian takeaway from here, but we have noticed that the portion size and the amount of vegetables is getting smaller, it’s not an accident, as this now consistently happens. All you are left with is a sauce! Please stop and consider our loyalty to you , your penny pinching will result in lost customers

Wow what a lucky find. We were on a break and discovered it randomly. We can't wait to go back. Food was amazing and price was good too.

Very nice food. Good service. Good value. A bit 'open plan' for my taste. A very large party of revellers made things a bit noisy for us - not their fault but could have been made better with some screening/booths. Otherwise, nicely impressed. Waiters and manager friendly / not overbearing.

Good food, tasty and enjoyable. Impromptu visit as hadn't booked. Got a table quickly. Attentive service, busy but nice atmosphere and no more expensive than a take out. £40 for two, starters, two mains, two rice and bread and a beer each. What's not to like

Friendly and welcoming staff, spotlessly clean. Food was freshly cooked however seemed light on the use of spices in the dishes I had; vegetable balti and bindi bhaji.

We ate in for a change and had the best meal ever. I had the lamb shank which was superb and my partner lamb sagwala preceded by Popadums and pickles and followed by pistachio and washed down with Kingfisher ale. Fabulous and thanks to Robin and his team.

Food was amazing n the service was excellent! Also truly appreciate Robin's help in finding my friend's watch! We really enjoyed the superb food. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Deal, Kent.

Firstly the entrance from the carpark could be nicer and perhaps maintained better, which would lift the spirits. Surprised when entering at how awful the restaurant looked. Although I have to commend the place on lovely white cloths on every table. But, too bright, you almost needed sunglasses on, tables pushed together and far too close. I was bumped continuously. Service was good, food tasty, perhaps not hot enough. Might return for a take away ,but will never eat in the restaurant. It is truly lacking in atmosphere of the slightest kind. Be prepared to be depressed whilst eating nice food. If you are a visitor to the town, either order and take home or book a table elsewhere. Deal is gorgeous and deserves more.

Indian food really shouldn’t be so difficult to get right. The chicken masala balti had only four pieces of chicken in a sauce that was too much just like tomato paste. The bhindi bhaji taste and texture was like it had been boiled instead of sautéed, without any tomato, and it lacked any flavour, such a disappointment. Out of our group only the ‘easier to please’ types who weren’t regular diners were okay with the food but those of us who take pride in fresh ingredients and ‘nicer’ dining were not happy at all. Speaking of happy, the service was not friendly or seeming to want to be there. I hope they try to improve as that is my intention, customer service and quality are key.

It’s such a shame, the food is decent but deliveries are a joke. We’ve just cancelled an order placed TWO HOURS ago and the food was still in the kitchen, staff couldn’t give us a time that it would be delivered. Second order in a row (last time took an hour and a half) that we’ve had to chase and we’ll be trying another curry house next time.

We stayed in Deal for a couple of days and Dine India was adjacent to our hotel. We had the most amazing meal for my partners birthday. The best India we have ever had! We highly recommend to anyone looking for the best Indian restaurant 🌟

Food was Luke warm smallest portions I have ever had in a restaurant asked for a glass of water had to ask 4 times before finally getting it just before we were leaving the service was just not good enough no hot towels after eating I have eaten here numerous times and it’s normally so good which is a shame we won’t be going back

My boyfriend and I got a takeaway here on Wednesday, it’s now one of my favourite Indian restaurants. Our food was delicious and great value for money. I recommend the chicken tandoori. The staff were so polite, helpful and friendly.

We received our food cold after wait 1h and half to receive it. Food was awful, we ask it too be collected. The staff didn’t seem to know what was going on and I found very unhelpful. 0 flavour and 0 effort was put into it… No apology just rude people.

We normally have a takeaway every weekend but as we had some friends over from France we decided to eat in The food was excellent as always as was the service. The quality is exceptional and our friends said it was the best Indian meal...

Good food and good service. Went on a Sunday night and it was very busy for take away and almost full to dine in. This speaks for itself. From the outside its nothing special but its quite nice inside and as I say good food.

We order Dine India frequently and quite honestly I could never go elsewhere! I am the most fussy girl and this Indian meets my high standards 😂 The food is impeccable, always delivered fresh, hot and tasty! The icing on the cake is that everyone you speak to at Dine India is so pleasant! Amazing, 100% recommend!! The best chicken Dhansak ever!! Would share some pictures but I ate it all 😂

I didn't know what to order so asked the waiter for a recommendation. He suggested the lamb with spinach, and garlic rice. It was beyond delicious. Never ate better in an Indian restaurant. Very recommend

After a day exploring Dungeness we were sat on the beach at Deal when a beautiful enticing smell of hot delicious food wafted over to us. We decided to have an early tea and crossed over to restaurant. The service was excellent, nice warm plates...

The chicken Kahjani (green one) is amazing, full of spice and flavour. Chicken Kushboo was also very nice as was the spicy bombay aloo. It's a no thrills restaurant with lovely food, friendly staff, very clean and lots of space between tables. Don't be put off by the entrance in the car park. Highly recommend 😊

Best lamb korai ever had and nice biryani. Reason for low score is that every time we have been there the naans were completely burnt underneath and dry. Almost uneatable. Car park. Clean.

My friend & I brought a chicken korma each & my partner had a tikka masala & 3 nanbreads & I will not be going here again especially for the price you’d expect good quality . The korma didn’t even takes like Korma & the tikka masala was terrible :( 😡

Always have a great meal at dine India and the great thing is that you are left alone to enjoy the meal.The waiters dont keep hovering around the table as you get in other restaurants ...I hate that !

We stayed at the Clarendon hotel, so chose to eat here, following the recommendations and the offer of a 10% discount for hotel guests. We were not disappointed- the food was really tasty and arrived to our table quickly. Perfect for guests staying at this hotel, as it is situated just round the back.

Great food. Helpful staff. The tamarind sauce is to die for. The only negative is only 1 piece of chicken in the chicken sag paneer. Everything else was spot on.

We stayed at the Clarendon hotel, so we went to the dine India restaurant. Friendly staff , the meals came quick and very tasty . I had a tandoori mix grill . This was the best mix grill I’ve ever had , it wasn’t dry like I’ve had in the past. It was lovely and tasty . Keep up the good work dine India .

Went here for a family birthday meal. Lovely atmosphere, clean and fresh decor. Great service and fantastic food. Front of restaurant is in a car park which is free parking after 6PM
