Although the decor is a bit tired now they still have some of the best takeaway food available in town.

Certainly won’t be going back. Service was rushed from the moment we sat down even though the restaurant wasn’t full. Poppadoms came out about 10 seconds after ordering them so clearly weren’t freshly prepared. We were also plagued by annoying fruit flies. The waiting staff had no customer service skills whatsoever and seemed to be constantly waiting to pounce. The place needs some investment to improve lighting and general ambiance and atmosphere - looks very tired. On the upside - our food was ok.

As our regular haunt was closed we gave this one a try. Whilst waiting for our food we were plagued with fruit flies and was told after ordering that they had s problem with them but it was being sorted. The waiter then placed a menu over the poppadom sauces. Spent most of the meal trying to swat them away and had to fish one out of my glass. The food was average, erring on the bland side. Won't be going back anytime soon.

Food tasted so bland didn't enjoy at all

Took advantage of their Indian buffet lunch on Sunday. Good choice of different curries tried a bit of each with pilau rice and nan Bread. We'll all had a round of Cobra beer.

Not impressed with the quality of the food. The lamb in the lamb jalfrezi was tough as old boots. I question it was actually lamb. Worse than that 3 of our party were ill that night.

I have visited many times as I used to live in Deal, however, this visit was my last. The food was not the best. I left a lot of it. there appears to be a lack of decent restaurants in this area at the moment.

Always a Treat to Eat in or get a Takeaway , Lamb Balti is lovely , Chicken Biryani is the best I’ve eaten and the Staff and delivery drivers are always polite and lovely too Highly Recommend it

The food wasn’t that bad, it’s the service that bothered me somewhat. The waiting staff constantly pace the length of the restaurant appear over your shoulder, look at what your doing then turn back around again, they seem to be constantly checking to see if you have finished. The whole experience makes one feel uneasy and as if one is being hurried in order to finish. If I want something I will call you or raise a hand, or get your attention somehow, I really don’t appreciate being watched in that fashion. The restaurant wasn’t that busy so no need to be constantly checking my eating abilities. Bad enough a staff member who clearly looked bored walked slowly down the restaurant ( AGAIN) walked past me to the mirror behind me, stood there to look at himself then slowly walked back up the room again!?? Really off putting! Please! please! please! refrain yourself from constantly pacing like your and insane wild animal in captivity and leave people to enjoy the meal that they are paying for, respect the fact that the customers would perhaps appreciate much consideration and privacy and learn the role of what WAITING STAFF actually does When I was eating I literally had two staff members walk up to my table and turn away again about 8 times each, so on 16 occasions I thought they were approaching me to ask me something??? By the way the coke is flat, and the meal I ordered went to a table next to me and then moved over after sitting there for several minutes. I don’t actually appreciate being sat near a toilet, again where customers are now walking past me ( as well as staff) and if you really must be so attentive then at least deliver me what I ordered in the first place. Bad damp moldy smell coming from upstairs, picture down stairs looks like it has mold on it, place needs some investment and in house training to staff regarding privacy for customers. Place is tired!

I have been coming here for years and years, always enjoyed the food, quality and taste always consistant. Staff really friendly and a good atomasphere. Can definitely recommend!

Yesterday, I recommended Milaad and I just had to review the experience. We all loved our food, it was earlier than expected but we were all grateful! The food was carefully packaged and still hot. Absolutely delicious 😋

This is one fine tandoori restaurant nestled in the backstreets of deal. The service is great. They do a takeaway service. The restaurant is small always buzzy so you may need to book the food is very very good consistently and I would recommend it if you like a good tandoori meal.

I have eaten in and had home delivery food always arrives hot and I have never had a bad meal Ordering online is very easy to do Well worth the cost and always arrives by the time stated in the confirmation email I can highly recommend this place

The starter and the buffet were excellent. That's how I imagine soul food. We will definitely come back on our next vacation

Food, staff and service excellent. Can't comment on atmosphere as we ate early with only one other couple but I'm sure it would also be tickety boo when fuller.

I hate to leave a bad review but the food was really really bland. No flavour whatsoever, not even basic seasoning. Such a disappointment.

I was visiting a friend in Deal and we chose Milad Tandoori to go for the evening. Being a Monday night in February it was fairly quiet. We had a warm and friendly welcome and enjoyed a drink and some popadoms while we looked through the menu. We had onion bhajis and prawn puri for starters, both very good. The onion bhajis crisp and not at all greasy. For mains we had Chicken rogan josh, lamb dhansak, with rice, chapati and saag aloo. It was all very well cooked, tasty, just the right amount of spice and very reasonably price. A very enjoyable evening altogether Recommended

Visited deal with friend to see a band, saw reviews and decided to eat here before seeing the band. Both of us so glad we did, reviews were spot on. Great service and atmosphere, very friendly and welcoming to us during our time there. Lovely food all of it, keema rice awesome. Can't wait to go back and try another new dish. Extensive menu with dishes I've never seen and I've eaten in lots of Indian restaurants. Highly recommend 👌

The 1 star for the food is only for my Tandoori Mixed Grill, not for my Daughters and her friends meal, they loved it and it looked amazing, mine was overcooked, dry and the tandoori piece of chicken was so hot it made my lips go numb! Which they disagreed with? I should of sent it back when it arrived, I could see it wasn’t right! I have used this restaurant for many years and the first time I’ve ever complained!!. Mixed grill consisted 1 small drumstick, 1piece of weird looking tandoori chicken(burnt) and over spiced, 1 kebab cut in half, 2 pieces of dried up chicken tikka and 2 pieces of dried lamb, served in a tiny tandoori dish!

Absolutely shocking experience at the worst Indian restaurant I've ever been to. The staff weren't friendly at all, they rushed us sitting down, ordering and paying for the meal. The food was average at best and the naans and chips were cold. They then had the audacity to charge us for chutney with our poppadoms. Having been to many restaurants I know that it is not the case that you get charged for it but the owner said we have to pay for it which we completely refused. When going through the rest of the bill, I noticed they tried to over charge us by £70. When we threatened further action, the owner told us sorry and it was a miscalculation. The beer was also flat and when we complained about this, the owner jokingly suggested we blow bubbles in it. Shocking.

What an excellent cultural and culinary experience. Thank you so much for a wonderful meal . We loved the delicious food and the exhibition of the Nobel prize winners - opened our minds and our grandchildrens.

We used to eat here regularly and the food was excellent. Unfortunately the new management have started pre-cooking the chicken to speed up the service. This completely changes the flavour of the chicken and gives it a tough stringy texture. Unless the revert to cooking the chicken from raw and making each sauce from scratch it will be our last visit.

Very good food and service. To recommend is the aloo gosht chef speciale with lamb and the naan bread.

Second time I have ordered a take away and second time disappointed. Rice was dry, paneer sauce bland and lamb Shashlik tough as old boots, couldn’t even chew it!

I booked for 14 of us to eat at the Millaad Restaurant. All I can say is that all 14 praised the food and the service. Not 1 complaint. Need I say more.........

Food was very good, staff very attentive. well worth a visit. One suggestion is that the poppadoms were a bit stale but that’s the only fault I could find. Decor is very traditional and different from your average modern restaurant. Carpets could possibly do with bringing back to life. Will visit again.

We ordered a takeaway from this restaurant, after the time they told us that delivery would be here by had well passed (over 40 minutes)I rang to ask where our food was.I was abruptly spoken to by a member of staff who made no effort to apologise for the late arrival of our food.Very bad service !

During a short break in Deal we ordered a take away from Milaad. Great service and lovely curry. Highly recommended.

Only stand outs from many other similar establishments, is that they had square plates and no hot lime pickle for the poppadums ( only yoghurt, onions and something unidentifiable). Good portions, tasty with plenty of chicken. Service was a bit rushed , but they were pretty busy considering it was only 7 pm on a Saturday. Better to sit in the front half, as no windows at the back of the eating area.

Really nice food and nice staff would eat here again.

We have been dining here for many years and never tire. With our two babes who are now men and curry aficionados. The service is great and we are always made very welcome.

Sunday buffet well worth the trip was not 2 busy absolutely spotless table and napkins food came up at about 12.15pm all freshly cooked lots to choose from. Very polite staff a must if in town 😀

Last night was the first time myself, wife and two friends had visited this restaurant. The first waiter was not at all friendly in fact when asked where was the house wine he impatiently and abruptly said, “Its top left of the menu!” When my friend couldn’t see the house wine in this location, she asked again to be me met with the same response. When she asked a third time, he took the menu and couldn't find it himself and when he did it was elsewhere on the menu. He didn’t even apologise. The next waiter who came to take the food order was equally impatient and rude. The decor of this restaurant requires major refurbishment. Especially on the way to the toilets and within them. The food was at best average. We will never be returning to this restaurant again.

Very Impressed with this restaurant. Walked past at 8pm on a Monday evening and noticed how busy it was so had to try it. Delicious starters was chicken chat, samosas with of course poppadoms and a first for me coconut chutney which we all enjoyed. Mains was a Lanb Gurkha, pilau rice and garlic nann. All very good, nice kick to the lamb dish but could have done with a better cut of lamb being used in the dish. Decent pint of cobra draft lager available and ok house wine! Staff excellent here very polite and attentive. Nice selection of customers here also made for a very pleasant evenings dining. Public car parking very close

We came on a quiet evening, the waiter was lovely and attentive. The food was all fantastic and well cooked. Very authentic. They stayed open a bit later even though we were the only ones in the restaurant still chatting while they were tidying up etc. I had a very good evening.

1 October 2022 we ordered a take out from this restaurant and was not disappointed. It arrived on time by a taxi, the food was hot and very enjoyable. We will order again from this establishment.

Arrived 1300, Selection VERY LIMITED and what was available was even more limited, (some Dishes were almost empty)got what little we could, EXPECTING! some replishment of the Buffet, was there just over the Hour and nothing was added to the limited amount. 1 hour from ordering to starting to eat. When we asked (after 40 minutes) when the food was coming. The waiter waved his hand and did nothing. THE MESSAGE I GOT WAS THAT THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR EAT IN CUSTOMERS. There is a big conflict between serving in house customers and their takeaway service. Did i enjoy the food when it arrived, NO, really not that good.

The food was excellent, all very flavouful and fresh. My wife had king prawns which were the biggest I've ever seen in a restaurant. Seemed very good value for money as well, I will definitely go back or order for takeaway

After a long & tiring day in London for both myself & my wife a 'can't be bothered to cook' meal, somewhere in Deal was the end of the day treat to self. Having been there before the Milaad Tandoori was our restaurant, from the many available, of choice & it didn't disappoint. Just one minute from the town's main car park, we arrived. We hadn't booked in advance but a warm reception upon opening the door was guaranteed. We were led to a beautifully clean table for two at the rear of the restaurant. Ah, peace & quite, just what we needed. The friendly & attentive staff immediately took our drinks order & presented four fresh poppadoms, a guaranteed great starter & oh boy, we're we hungary. This lovely starter was followed by a number of vegetarian dishes (we're both vegetarian) all of which were hot, fresh, very tasty & very generous. We'll done the team at Milaad, we'll be back.

My brother and I went here for a buffet lunch on a Saturday. Thumbs up ....good food!

Went last night and food, us usual tasted lovely. Service however was pretty poor with waiters seemingly distracted. Wearing a mask under your chin is pointless too. This morning I had the worst tummy upset in many years. So no more visits I think.

There are far better takeaway options for Indian food in Deal however for eating in there isn't much choice. Milaad used to be great and somewhere I would go regularly but the most recent visit was not good at all... a lengthy wait, which can be forgiven on a Saturday, but the food was poor and lacking flavour (which is odd for a curry!) I will stick to one of the other fantastic takeaway Indians in Deal

Disappointing. Not up to their usual standard. I ordered for myself and my son using the app for the first time..I usually order by phone. The pilau rice was overcooked and stuck together in clumps. The saag aloo I ordered was missing and in its place was another container of rice. When I called to complain I was told I could keep the rice and that I could have a refund on the missing saag aloo. I didn't want anymore rice, so that went in the bin and it wasn't worth refunding my card payment for a couple of quid.

I haven't visited for a shameful amount of years, so pleased to have been back! The place was throbbing on a Wednesday evening which certainly tells a very good story. Classic and flavorful dishes, perfectly cooked. Exceptional king prawns! Finished off with a smashing Irish coffee.

A little rough around the edges, in terms of the restaurant's decor itself, but the service was good and the food was excellent. Very impressed. My son and I really enjoyed our visit.

Had a mixed grill, chicken jalfrezi and lamb vindaloo with rice and naan, very good quality food and staff are all very friendly, easy going service experienced, highly recommend their Bangladeshi indian curries, will definitely go there again when I'm by the beach again from London!

Another excellent takeaway. Probably the best Indian Meal I have had in 50 years. Seriously. They even provide free extras like Onion and Mango Chutney and Papodoms. A must visit in Deal.

First time having a takeaway from here. All 3 of us enjoyed the purees to start and the Goan lamb shank was delicious. The other 2 mains and side dishes were faultless.
