The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Indian food

I ordered nearly £50 worth of food, one item of which was a King Prawn bhuna. It was disgusting. I've never known "King Prawns" to be mushy, and like paste. About half the dish was like that, the rest of it resembled something from Area 51, and in no way could be called a King Prawn. I followed procedure and filed an online complaint. After waiting a week and receiving no reply I am left with no choice but to leave this review, to warn other people what they may be letting themselves in for.

We recently moved to dinnington, and have wanted to try this spot. Such a lovely place, amazing customer service, and generous tasty food. I would recommend the Chicken Tikka with garlic naan. The owner himself is a lovely individual - happy to live by such a lovely indian takeout with GREAT food

What a disappointment. We went for a family Christmas Eve meal and was massively let down by poor service and awful food. We waited an hour and ten minutes for starters to arrive and they were terrible, just totally bland, even my 8 year old commented that they were tasteless. I understand that it’s a busy night and can accept waiting longer than usual but the standard of food was totally unacceptable. For the first time in my life I cancelled the main courses, paid for the starters and drinks and left.

Amazing food and excellent service. We were in Bognor for a four day break and our host recommended this place. The food was absolutely gorgeous and I ate everything on my plate which doesn’t happen very often when I go out for a meal. Very buzzing place suitable for all ages and good prices too. It will be even better once they get their alcohol licence.

The name has now change to aura under new management The food is still very good there is some changes on the menu.They have cobra on draught but you can still take your own and there is a lot of staff so the service is very good nothing is a problem Booking is recommended

We booked a table on Banquet Night. The staff were organised and very friendly. The food was magnificent. With the option to take home what we didn't manage to eat in the restaurant. You can also order alcohol, and soft drinks with your meal. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the restaurant is clean and very well maintained; with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. 10/10

The food was excellent and the best chicken tika bhuna I've had in ages. Service was good but no surprise as the restaurant wasn't busy which is a shame because it deserves to be.

Lovely staff. Food is OK, but go before 6 while the cheaper option is on. Great atmosphere.

This chilli paneer was pretty good. The texture was nice, soft inside and a little crispy outside. It looked great on the plate, and the service was also good. Only thing I didn’t love was the flavour — the paneer wasn’t tangy enough for me. It needed a bit more punch. Still, it was tasty overall. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
