we was looking for something to eat poped in chaiiwala was given excellent service given by naina she went out her way to tell what there was on the menu,she was very friendly and welcoming,food was amazing

Came with a big group of people. Naina did a brilliant job serving all of us and food came out so quickly! Food was tasty especially the Bombay sandwich

I’m usually not a tea/chai person and prefer to go for coffee but my friend recommended U try their karak chai as she was said it was amazing and she was a big fan of it. I was reluctant to purchase one myself so Naina really kindly offered me a small free sample to try it and I loved the chai so I ordered a regular. Great customer service and I enjoyed the chai! I always visit chaiiwala at least 3/4 times a week every single week. Karak coffee is my favourite👌🏼 For a whole breakfast meal is only £5.50. Can’t go wrong. Clean friendly environment too. Staff are lovely.

Stopped there for breakfast and enjoyed a cup of delicious karak chai, with a paratha and an omelet roll. The paratha was particularly delicious and the perfect accompaniment for the chai.

I was expecting an typical Indian restaurant, You will be surprised to see the Service counter Typical English style. Neat and Clean place. Food quantity was decent, nothing great. Food Quality was good. Tea was extra-ordinary. Thali was good, Omlet for normal (not Indian style)....

Absolutely rubbish food ... we ordered a chip butty and some chilli paneer with Pau bhaji.. little tiny bit of onion .dried up lemon piece.Chilli paneer was dry and everyone left the food without eating. We had it delivered through Deliveroo And really unhappy we will never order again.

We stopped here for Indian boiled masala tea and was impressed by quality. We did try classic paratha which I don't recommend and so does classic roti. Good customer service. Small place and limited tables. they have varieties of Tea but we tried KARAK MASALA TEA.

Went for breakfast and brunch here on Sunday and Monday.... the food was really tasty. The masala chips, the omelette wrap and the desi breakfast were all really good. The service was really good too.... we were served by Naaila today who was very helpful. Would highly recommend a visit.

Yummy masala chips and Desi Breakfast :) Such a shame they don’t have meat in this branch though as their butter chicken roll is delicious :p The Falooda’s are also really nice but always seems to be missing the jellies and sevey (noodle) though :(

The Chaii here is amazing. There is no chaii like this in Canada. Today was my first time exploring The Golden Mile, when I came across the lovely Chaiiwala cafè. I was assisted by the Chaii representative Naailah, who recommend me the best Chai (Karak Chaii). Upon the first sip, it reminded me of the authentic street chai in India. A special thank you to Naailah at the Melton Road location for introducing me to Chaiiwala, and creating a new loyal customer/fan. This was our first visit to Chaiiwala, we are from London and it did not disappoint. Ahmed really looked after us and gave us a good idea of all the lovely delicious varied menu which proved to be really delicious and tasty. Most people come here for the street CHAII (Tea) which is specially prepared and is very KARAK (strong).The veg Kebab roll was very nice and not too spicy so perfect for the English-palate. The bombay sandwich with meshed potatoes well nicely spiced were a delight and melted in the mouth. The masala chips were ok but try them without cheese as ours was spoiled with cheese making them soggy. However; the best dish was the mogo chips, so crusty and melting in the mouth and no sign of any oil. The sweet dish are perhaps their best kept secret, very Indian but with some English taste and aroma wrapped up in these little magnificent parcels. They were all nice and could not pick the best.We tried: Gajar Halwa cheese cake, gulab jamun cake and nutella wrap. Must go there again as there are a lot more we could not sample. The wifi was good but Ahmed was the best and the KARAK Tea CHAII is to die for.

Visited this place from Manchester. We were a family of 8. Please note, it’s a smallish place so big crowds would feel tight in here. We ordered the food at the till but were not given a receipt just an order number. The food took over 1 hour and 40 minutes to come and we had kids ranging from 3 Years to 5 Years. Whenever we asked the staff, she replied in a rude way, saying it’s coming. When it did come, it came in drips and drabs with 5-10 minute intervals between everyone’s meal. At the end we were missing two bombay sandwiches, when we went to ask the staff member she said all the food is on the table. Three of us were at the till when the sandwiches were ordered. Then we asked her for the receipt and she said she threw it away (so no record is kept? Hmmm). Unheard of. Never have I experienced not getting a receipt & then the staff member throwing it away. Finally she agreed to give 1 out of the two sandwiches which was another 25 minute wait. Blimey.

It was busy Saturday afternoon and i went with my 2 other mates for quick snacks. The girl (Gulafsa) on the till was very helpful to choose food. She recommended good stuff from the menu and the way she was talking was very polite and friendly. Food was good and the service was great. The premises is good and funky. It is placed between Belgrave Road and Melton Road.Do not expect much banter from the young staff probably who are on minimum wage.The karak tea was good. The weather was unseasonably mild, so it was nice to relax and enjoy a cup.

On the 25/12/18I Am Normally quite satisfied when leaving the shop.However on this visit I wasn’t very happy at all.My experience as follows :The gentlemen on the till service who has a long beard and wears a hat with your company sticker.Front of house gentlemen . His customer service was Awfull. Firstly while he was talking to me all I could smell was cigarettes like he had been smoking before serving me. Previously when I had visited the store it was Night time as was served by him and he smelt of weed. His eyes were Shot red and all I could smell was weed That smell instantly put me off but I had already started ordering and didn’t want to leave without completing my order. I had to wait for my tea to be severed to me when I clearly asked for it be served first before my take away is ready.I know the owner briefly as I’ve spoken to him at the shop when I have previously Visited the branch.The other staff especially the 3 young lads The one with the little beard he looks hence muscle wise. I’m not aware of there names. The young African looking one he’s a funny Lad.And the Indian lad there absolutely amazing! Never had any complaints about them.I was honestly in 2 minds of writting this review but I think employers should speak to the gentlemen about smoking before serving customers. Ordered from this Chaiiwala via UberEats and it all came warm and on time! We even made a last minute change to the order which they accommodated and gave on the house!

Even though their food is OK. It is low level quality. It was disappointing because I was expecting really cool delicacies but I was wrong. Just normal junk food and cold, bland drinks. The cringiest thing is that they serve they're drinks in PLASTIC CUPS. Absolute jokes.

Once again went to chaiiwala on Loughborough road and this time the food was cold again. Had to complain and get my food reheated . So does this mean they r not bothered or dont they cook it fresh and just reheat it in a microwave.The person at the counter serving looked like he did not want to work there looked like he walked in after a run with his ear phones hanging loose. Which to me looks a bit unprofessional.

We were told that Chaiiwala Melton Road was one of the largest in Leicester so 22 of us turned up there for a post wedding breakfast Nice place, decent decor, with good range of desi (Indian) breakfasts and snacks on offer. The menu on offer is vegetarian so those looking for a full English (even vegetarian) should look elsewhere. Staff were friendly and attentive but struggled to keep up with table clearing and service...but I guess with our large group and other customers this was to be a expected. Food was of good quality and karak chaii was nice. Would go again and next time we will reserve a day ahead

My friend and I came here as we heard good things about this place. Now I can't say much about the food as we didn't stay to try it as the service was so terrible that we didn't want to stay! Its quite a small place so we walked in as it was our first time answer didn't know whether to just sit down or wait for the waitress. She was walking past us so I asked politely "do we just sit down or wait?" She just zoomed by and said "whatever " we just walked out. As she couldn't be bothered so we didn't either.

Very impressed with the taste and quality of the food and tea! Service was also great. This time I ordered a Omlette Wrap which I must say was probably the best yet. A nice masala omelette wrapped in a soft fresh roti.The "Karak Chai" aka "Masala Chai" was beautiful! Some nice mogo chips. Crispy on the outside, soft on the in! Make sure you tell them if you want plain mogo. As I did find the masala mogo and chilli paneer tasted the same. Nice but i prefer the plain!Reasonable prices too.Clean inside.Definitely worth recommending and "i'll be back".
