Curry Leaf Indian Restaurant in Blackpool

Food was good , but service and staff terrible , this has happened b4 but returned because foods nice , walking in is like your putting them out , only cash which is no problem but hod forbid a card payment u can’t leave until it’s shown on their end ( highly embarrassing) they never smile , they are rude to u , and have no social skills to make you feel welcome , the chefs however do a great job but the owners and floor staff - should not be working in a restaurant where u expect a welcome and manners

We were hungry and it was quite late. We were a bit apprehensive as the restaurant was almost empty and I feel maybe the decor put people off as the lighting is bright. But the waiter was helpful and rushed a large serving of fries out for my little boy. He also brought us a jug of complimentary tap water and swiftly brought out poppadoms when we changed our mind and added a starter. I enjoyed my lamb dish and the naans were fantastic but my husband found his Biriani too hot and didn't finish it.

Food bland. Ordered lamb rogan Josh, first time I had a sweet rogan josh. 5 small pieces of lam, rice wet as though not drained properly. Will not be ordering from here again!

This was the best curry I have had in a long time. Everything was fresh, hot and tasty. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back very soon.

I live in Blackpool and to me, my wife, and my friends this restaurant is excellent. First off it's bright inside, clean to say the least, and with welcoming staff who have excellent spoken English. Amazing meal as always. This is by far the best Indian restaurant on the Fylde coast. Unbeatable prices, great quality food. Staff are attentive and so lovely. We have been coming here for years and never disappoints. To single out one dish is difficult as we have tried a variety over the years and all cooked to perfection. My birthday today and there was no question as to where I wanted to go. My all time favourite. I have Indian relatives so I know good curry cuisine. Superb

Discovered this lovely place whilst on holiday in Blackpool. Very varied menu and great for vegetarians. So many choices. There were four of us and we all chose different options. All of our meals were fantastic. Fresh, quality ingredients, welcoming and helpful staff and very reasonably priced. Large portions as well. Will definitely be back.

visited here with my dad when in the area to watch football, the service was excellent, really friendly. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Clearly a lot of local people use it so it tells you how good it is. We will definately visit here again when travelling to watch a game.

Went on Sunday family of 8 for my daughters birthday to take advantage of the half price offer I wish we didn't bother the food spoiled the night..seems half price meant half the portion sizes pilau rice came out on a tiny saucer not even enough for 1 person,butter chicken had so much oil floating I didn't know whether to eat it or drink it and was soo sweet,chicken tikka masala my daughter couldn't eat it was more like a dessert it was soo sweet also..my grandkids had small chicken nuggets and chips were like twiglets they were so hard at £19.80 for 2 before discount ridiculous price..no restaurant deserves money and custom for palming that food to anyone..I never commented on the night cause I didn't want to embarrass my daughter on her birthday wish I did though

We usually eat at the Sunam but when trying to make a booking they were full, so we opted for here (a few doors down). Originally the booking was for a party of 14 at 1900, but when we got there it was split over a longer table down the centre then another to the side (which I originally said it was fine to do) but as some of our party arrived later to the side table, they still held off on any orders until nearly 2000 - even drinks and starters took some time coming. Although it's not a large place, it did seem to have only two staff trying to manage the entire room with one attempting to ferry takeout orders. The meal, when it arrived, was good: I couldn't fault it - and neither could the rest of the party, who all said that it was frustrating it took so long (we didn't leave until 2100) yet all agreed that the meal was delightful. Based on that alone I'm still willing to return there someday because of the comprehensive selection and the food quality, but I'll certainly look at booking earlier if there's such a wait.

Best Indian around fabulous good prices Sunday half price. At it opens early 4.00pm we tell everyone to go food greasy and good portions mixed kebabs excellent, king prawn really good.

After a hard afternoon sat watching bands in the local Stanley Park we called in at The Curry Leaf. Always given a warm welcome and no matter how busy it is the staff are always friendly and attentive. Food always 10/10 and we all had a great time dining and chatting. Highly Recommended.

Booked via messenger and wanted to change the time, quick call and no problem. Small place but very welcoming. No rush of pressure with anything. Warm poppadoms, generous portions of chutneys, generous starter portion of shaming kebab. Chicken bhuna was so tasty hint of a kick ,thick gravy, really good . Lamb pathia fell apart so no need to chew. Massive naan with a light spread of butter and beautifully light. 2 pints and 2 halves of Cobra. 50 quid!

Having returned from holiday with our daughter we got the chance for a night off parenting so decided to have a walk down to red bank rd have a couple of beers and maybe a curry. Haven't been out for many indian meals in the last few years with all the things that have happened. We had poppadoms and chutney tray. Meat samosa and onion bhaji to share as starters Main meals lamb pathia and lamb karhai Garlic and spinach rice and keema naan Few pints of Cobra which was a quality pint, appears the establishment keep good care of their lines. The food was absolutely perfect, really enjoyable, not a thing I could pick fault with. Service was fantastic, the waiter was attentive but not intrusive, nothing was a trouble for him. Price was very very reasonable, i know this place do a lot of special offers on other days, but tbh without any offers it was still great value. Great evening and can't wait to visit again.

Always use here for our Take away we love a mild pathia and can’t have our meal in restaurant now as we have a little dog but we have eaten here a lot before we had our puppy . The mid week special is great value . We love all of the meals we’ve had . Once we can leave our puppy we will be back eating in the restaurant.

Over the years this restaurant has been a bit of a hit and miss dining experience. However the newish owners have really turned it round. We have been quite a few times since January 23 and the food has been superb, Nothing is too much trouble for the staff And Vegetarians are well catered for. The draft Cobra is always a delight to drink, which is a plus
