The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Indian food

Probably best place in Birmingham for eating tarka daal mash and shinwari charsi karahi. Very spacious. Service is amazing. Delicious food. Barbecue is not as amazing as kabul darbar but karahi is better.

We found the food bland. The biryani was no more than fried rice with meat. The tikka masala lacked spice, and the keema nan chewy with no taste in the keema. Disappointing really. The views are good but that's the only positive point. Shame about the boy racers in the car park adjacent

A top evening. A well established Putney restaurant that cooks brilliant Indian food. The food and wine menus are helpfully compact, making choices easier and I reckon heightens the results! Delicious all round… perfectly cooked rice, nans, samosas , baked prawns ….and the curries!!Easy to get to, clearly full of locals ( all ages) and family owned. The service was tops too. And they own the wine shop next door. Thank you again.

Local spot for me and had heard good things and was very excited. However, I was incredibly disappointed. It was unbelievably expensive considering how small the portions were and the meat in all the curries was so dry and the flavour was not fantastic either. The lamb chops were incredibly tasty but 4 for £23 was so overpriced. Plus 2 out of the 4 were incredibly small chops.

Good service and very good food, would definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back in future. Very nice restaurant

Been eating in and ordering takeaways for many years with panshi, last night was the worst takeaway we have ever had from them. Chips were stale, burnt onion bharjis and rice was soggy and tastles. I hope this was a one off. But we won't be ordering takeout again.

First impressions when entering are the staff are very friendly and quick with the service, but the menu is a different matter. The prices are way too high for what you get. You would be better off going to other Indian Restaurants in the area as the prices are cheaper for better quality of food. I cannot see myself coming here unless prices are dropped.

Now our go-to delivery option! The food is always delicious with wonderful deep flavours. There are food allergies in our household and they are always ready to adapt dishes to ensure a wide choice for everyone which is a real help. Patient, courteous and with excellent food, I would definitely recommend!
