I recently dined here with family friends and had a truly delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Amrut and Ronnie were incredibly attentive and helpful, offering excellent recommendations that I thoroughly enjoyed.I must say their Spicy Margarita was the best Margarita drink I have ever had.

Well dressed folks, but no sense of service. Doesn't understand the the hospitality. Shouldn’t be in fine dining business.been to many simpler restaurants in Chelmsford but never had such bad experience --------------------------------------------------------------------------- You commented falsely on my review, that you investigated and found I didn't ordered anything, and asked without ordering or testing anything, how can i leave review. I think you shall take a look at attached receipt and do some introspection if you really made an effort of investigating the issue. your award winning service was so fine that I could not dine at your restaurant, by the way I have been to many fine dining experiences and I am used to it. also I have seen reviews from other customers not all of them are great, some of them are also poor, service should not be taken for granted. I checked rating given by other customers, it was great thats why I visited your restaurant in first place.

Food - ok, but very overpriced. Small portions. Nothing standout in taste. Service - Nice staff, but really long wait times. Atmosphere - quite nice. Nice decorations, nice music, that wasn't too loud.

Wonderful visit to Pakwaan to celebrate a 65th birthday. It is a 'special occasion' venue for us. Food was fabulous, so tasty with huge depths of flavour and excellent spices. Very well presented food and service is absolutely first class. Friendly, informative and attentive without being intrusive on the meal. Restaurant was quiet (Thursday early evening), but excellent decor and surroundings meant being quiet did not negatively effect the atmosphere for us. Pakwaan, although at a higher price point than alternative Indian Restaurants, represents very good value for exceptionally good food and service. Food was lovely. Full of flavours, right amount of spices. We had the Biriany dishes lamb and prawns. The lamb was tender, melt in the mouth and yet not dry. Definitely would come back and recommend.

My wife a I recently enjoyed a fantastic dining experience at the Pakwaan. I did a thorough search before initially booking, as belonging to North Indian Punjabi heritage, I really wanted to find a place that offered authentic Indian Punjabi food. The food was exceptional and was refreshing to see a menu that was packed with proper Indian Punjabi dishes. Overall the food, service and atmosphere was brilliant and I highly recommend Pakwaan to everyone.

Food was amazing, best Indian food I’ve ever had!! The food took a while to come but was worth the wait. The interior is lovely, they have live music that isn’t too loud however it was a bit cold inside so bring a jumper😂

I come to this restaurant whenever I am visiting from Scotland. The food is fantastic. The chef cooks all dishes to your particular taste, so if you don't like it hot he will make it milder for you. All of the staff are friendly and attentive and go out of their way to make sure everything is 100% to your liking. I wish they had a restaurant in Ayrshire.

We had a our corporate meeting today evening at this lovely Indian restaurant. We were lucky to have been looked after personally by the owner himself Mr Rajesh Chauhan. Food was simply delicious and service was incredible. I would highly recommend anyone one looking to have an authentic Indian food. Must visit place.

I don't know how to give 0 rating but honestly I am highly disappointed . Pakwaan takes order on Uber eats and we ordered food today at Pakwaan and it's being more than 2 hours and no sign of delivery and no update in terms of when food will be deliverd . They are also not answering the phone . Spoiled the day,and spoiled the mood. Why they take orders if they dont have ability to deliver ? Why to spoil other people events and time like this .....really bad that they don't even pick their phone ...
