We went in as a group of 4, to have my birthday lunch. Food was outstanding! Service was fantastic . Rajesh made sure each one of us felt special. I ended up having a mini party and truly felt awesome. Overall had a great time!

Ronnie was very nice good service food was amazing only thing I had a drink spilt on me but as you know accidents happen they were very apologetic let us have a round of drinks free so very thankful highly recommend.

Went for the Sunday all you can eat buffet with 12 people. All of us left with very full bellys and had a great time. Food was amazing as was the atmosphere!

Had a lovely dinner, celebrating my friend’s birthday. Great selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. I ordered a mocktail which was sweet and refreshing. Starters and main had great portions and the meat was super tender. Every dish was full of flavour! Service was great, very attentive.

was a nice meal but way overpriced we asked for 6 poppadoms to start with and they bring them in qaurters and asked for another two they bring them in bowls they brought three more bowls which consists of two poopadoms we sent two bowls back we were charged 30 pound for basically 8 poppadoms then they added on another drink on the bill then we ordered two jack daniel's and was charged for a double it was well overpriced and if didn't check the bill i thought we were basically getting ripped of would never go back way way overpriced and to add things to the bill very greedy

Incredible food and service for the night. I took my wife and family here for my wife's 30th. Ronnie was our server for the day and he went above and beyond to help make my wife's night extra special, with a cake and there was even a song from the live singer! Everything and every piece of food was amazing and I would recommend to anyone to get down here and try.

I'm so disappointed we hadn't been before even though this gorgeous restaurant opened in 2018 but will definitely be going back. From the fabulous welcome, delicious food and amazing staff to the delightful greetings on exit, this is a must visit. The menu explained the dishes and the food was incredible. I was expecting small portions so may have slightly over-ordered! The best we have ever tasted. We were there for a birthday and it was made extra special by the singer on the keyboard and the staff with the little delicious dessert. Will be back soon!

Lovely place to have good quality india food with authentic taste. The top score I give for anyone is 4, hence 4 star otherwise very good. Would highly recommend.

I must say the price is at the higher end but definitely would recommend the delicious food. Thanks to Pakwaan for the lovely meal and delightful evening. Special thanks to the musician who not only entertained us performing the Indian Fusion Live music but also made the birthday celebration a memorable experience.

It used to be a very fine restaurant serving very authentic Indian food. Recommend many people and took my friends there . All liked it. The takeaway used to be given in very attractive packaging. Recently, we went to attend a business meeting. The food quality is found to be of substandard. The main course especially. The starters were ok. We ordered a takeaway. One single item Briyani was £22 and a few other items were too expensive. I took some for my friend. " The takeaway food was binned straight away ( in front of me ) and not at all good. It looked like like some leftovers .I felt very uncomfortable letting down my friend who was waiting for the food at 11 pm. I wish the management restores the standard. Should not serve sub-standard food for business meetings. My friend forced me to put this review . I liked this beautiful place for its food once.

We were recommended to come by our friends and we wasn’t disappointed , food was wonderful , I had the seabass and my husband had lamb which was delicious and seafood starters were wonderful . Service was amazing and the owner was very charasmstic

Delicious authentic Indian food - best Indian in Essex!

Came in for an impromptu Sunday lunch, excellent service and delicious food, just the right amount per portion and so good, couldn’t stick to the set menu as we wanted to try everything! Will definitely be back. Missed off one star as it was an early lunch so the restaurant was fairly empty hence the lack of atmosphere but it was a great meal and we’ll do it again.

Great Sunday Feast Buffet - food and staff are inpecable. Food is both presented perfectly and incredibly tasting. Ronnie looked after us to such a high standard! Would recommend to anyway.

Best curry I've ever had! Was recommended this place by a chance meeting on holiday and im so glad we decided to try it out! The food was delicious, hot and perfectly spiced (not too spicy but enough to know its there) the waiters were friendly and very helpful answering all my questions and giving their recommendations especially Ronnie who was kind enough to bring me a taster of the Pani Puri (a new firm favourite I will add) the service was quick and the atmosphere was perfect for a fun but intimate romantic evening. Can't recommend this restaurant more and will be back soon!

Had a lovely midweek meal - that was the only reason there were less stars for atmosphere as there were not so many diners. Food was amazing especially and lovely considerate servers. They served us an extra pani puri as they’re an odd number of us too! Would highly recommend.

We recently ate at Pakwaan and loved it! From the moment we walked in, the place felt warm and welcoming. The staff (Brenda and owner Raj) were super friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. They were easy to talk to and really added to the experience. The food was amazing—full of flavor and made with fresh ingredients. The menu had a ton of options, and the staff were happy to give recommendations or make changes. My experience as a coeliac at Pakwaan was exceptional! All canapés provided at our conference were gluten free with reassurance from the restaurant manager. Numerous dishes including chicken, lamb and vegetable options were all coeliac friendly. I felt very comfortable eating here and would certainly recommend if anyone is looking for a delicious, gluten free dinner.

I recently tried Pakwaan's Chocolate Samosa and was blown away! The crispy exterior gave way to a rich, velvety chocolate filling that left me craving more. A game-changer for dessert lovers.

Lovely dishes - King prawn starter and lamb & chicken kebab. Really unusual and full of delicious flavours. Duck and chicken bhuna masala delicious. Would definitely recommend. The atmosphere was very good with live music and fantastic service by Ronnie.

The food was excellent, but the evening was ruined by the noise. When booking the day before our visit, when we had specifically asked, we had been told that there would be live music - it was a Saturday night - but that we would be allocated a quiet table. In fact there was a birthday party going on, with loud thumping disco music, and karaoke , which totally drowned out conversation for the rest of the guests. The management were joining in, and photographing the event, to the extent that we had to get up to leave before we could get the bill, despite a number of requests. The evening was not helped by the waitress accidentally knocking a bottle of wine over me. There was no attempt to replace the bottle until I asked for a replacement. The fact the wine went over my shirt, jacket and trousers was ignored. The staff were too busy attending to the birthday party It was a dreadful evening for those not involved in the party, and we felt we had been badly misled by the assurances we had been given.

Great food and fast efficient service. Can’t wait until next time
