Amazing food and excellent service! The chicken shaslick was flavourful, the naan was fresh, and the lamb handi was perfectly spiced. Our waiter Mo was attentive and friendly, making the experience even better.

Booked a table for 6.30.Told to go upstairs to the bar, have a drink, peruse the menu, we will come and take your order and then take you to your table etc - went upstairs to the bar - absolutely rammed, people been waiting ages for a table- obviously overbooked etc, got to 7.45pm ( 1 h 15 mins after our booking) asked at the bar whats happening etc. Meanwhile people booked in at 7pm were having their orders taken? Obviously no system for when over booking etc. Complained but they were very dismissive and bullshit in bucket loads, went to leave, was asked to pay our bar bill ( 4 pints of Cobra in 1h 15 mins), don't think so, no communication from begining to end ... even when arriving if they said, we are running 1h behind, fair enough, but 1h 15 mins and no communication and people going before us with a 7pm booking and a table for 4 ( we were a table for 2).Never again Kiplings,never again .... went to Beer n Bhajis service was 10 out of 10 compared to 1 out of 10 for Kiplings. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

the food is amazing but order at least 2 hrs before you want to eat. high demand means deliveries are usually late.

Appalling service. Placed order took money for the order then sent email saying not accepting orders due to being too busy.

Called Monday with my daughter and granddaughter had the early bird menu! As a local food guide I can say the staff was very attentive and service was excellent and the food was nice children's menu was a less than £5 and a bargain with a starter and curry and side the curry was more than a child portion well worth it 😁 I will bee calling again soon

We came here over Christmas and New Year. The food was spectacular, really realy tasty and flavoursome with good-sized portions. Service was wonderful, the staff were lovely and so very attentive. We will be coming back often.

We decided to try kiplings because I’ve heard good things but our order was poor to say the least my korma was bland and too hot, the chips were soggy cold and very small portion the bhajis were cold stodgy the chapatis were too thick and undercooked and we got one tiny pot of riata for the price we paid this was a rip off

Really lovely food. Only ordered starters as never used here before. But definitely be buying more from now on. Was a long wait for delivery but driver did apologise. Worth the wait though

Layout quite cramped, service can appreciate that it was busy however had a table booked and was taken orders an hour later then took another hour for food to come. Yeah food was pleasant naans lovely.

This restaurant is not to be missed. The food and service are outstanding. We visit regularly and have also had takeaways. The staff can’t do enough for you. We recommend the Balti and Karahai as our favourite mains. The pickle trays are delicious. The naan breads are so light and airy, they’re the best!

Came for a staff Christmas meal, food was as lovely as it was on our last visit, great prices and such lovely friendly staff.. well worth visit!

2+ hours to receive my takeaway. Curry arrived which was wrong. The chips were under cooked and the portion size of them was laughable. Was looking forward to this place after being recommended. Won’t be ordering again.

Lovely food, service was fine, the meat starter for 2 only had one chicken wing, a bit difficult to share but was nice, popadoms and pickles nice, curries and nan breads lovely. Would have got 5 stars except weren't happy at seeing prices on the menus and then having different prices on the bill. Wouldn't have been too bad if a staff member had advised us of this prior as it's just a bit unprofessional. The price in the bill was acceptable, but even so, they should update menus so as not to mislead customers. This has put me off returning a little, but because the food was good, I probably will return but won't be happy if the prices differ again.

Ordered our takeaway at 7:10pm, It didn’t arrive until 8:50pm and it was all lukewarm and a little soggy. Very disappointing. I wouldn’t have ordered if I’d have known delivery would have taken so long.

Only downside was not having the space to seat a large booking together on one table, meaning our party was split over two tables (Group of 14 so understandable) Still given 5 stars as all other aspects are worth that rating. Thank you, will definitely go again.

Tuesday 5th November We arrived to a very busy restaurant and was asked to wait upstairs in the bar where our ordered would be taken . We had a round of drinks in the bar (convenient) We had our order taken and was recommended some mains * Shashleek keema karahi * chicken pasanda * garlic corriander naan (thin crispy ) Was asked how we’d like the dishes done and if we’d have and dislikes or allergies which Was impressive Food arrived after a short wait And wow. It was well worth travelling for I would recommend booking before hand as it’s a busy restaurant

Fabulous experience at Kiplings. Very friendly welcome, good personal service and great food. Our friends came to enjoy a Bradford curry and they weren't disappointed. They said they had never seen such an expansive menu and some dishes never seen before and were delighted with the food and the quality and personal service. Well done Kiplings. We will all be back.

Called for a curry after searching on TripAdvisor and google for best places for a curry, The restaurant is very nice looking, has a bar which serves alcohol and soft drinks, The manager/owner is very easy to talk too and was very welcoming when we arrived I would say if your looking for a hidden gem in bradford then you need to give this place a try, we had murgh pakoras, tandoori murgh starters and they was freshly cooked and tasted delicious for our main we tried lucys special (WOW) what an absolute beautiful curry this was, chips was nice and the aloo naan was fresh too Overall 10/10 for the full meal and will definitely be coming back very soon Decently priced and as we was leaving we noticed they had an early bird menu if your eating on a budget

A 2 hour wait for delivery!! Rang 4 times to chase up our order and each time told a different tale. 2 hours to wait is unacceptable. Have used Kiplings for years but will not use again. Will go elsewhere.

was really looking forward to this a proper restaurant take away..ordered at 3pm in the afternoon got my delivery time of 17.50... 18.20 I called Kiplings and was told my order would be 10 mins as driver on his way.. 40 mins later driver pulls up..curry was lovely but unfortunately the chips were stone cold..

The food took 2 hours to arrive, we were told it was on its way, 1 hour and a half after ordering however 20 minutes later it was still not here. When we rang to find out where it was, they told us he was 10 minutes away, so he can’t have been on his way when said. There was no apology from the delivery driver and our food was cold. Not impressed

We use kiplings for takeaways the food is good but the takeaway service is poor. I always have to ring to chase up plus the delivery is always late. When you ring to chase it there is never an apology , I was told this evening I would be called back which did not happen. Food arrived shortly after I guess I was ignored Not good enough when you’re spending £50 for 3 people.

The restaurant is brilliant the delivery service is absolutely shocking. Many items ordered ot present and staff not bothered even for people who have paid. Absolute joke. Management need to speak direct with client base.

Tremendous, gorgeous and fantastic are three words that come to mind when visiting Kiplings. If I were stuck on a desert island and the only food I was allowed was food from Kiplings, then quite frankly I wouldn’t be lighting a fire for a passing ship to come and rescue me. I would be as happy as man who has Kiplings just down the road from me. In these times of uncertainty, it’s great to go to Kiplings and lose yourself in the smells and tastes of wonderful food and beautiful restaurant. Throughly recommend Kiplings, the smile from ear to ear as we enter, never leaves until I’m tucked up in bed, thinking about the next time I can go there. 100 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I popped in for takeaway this evening as I was working in the area, but I wasn't going to eat in because I was alone. The guys were so friendly and helpful I ended up eating in as they made me feel at home. The naan bread and balti which I ordered were lovely! I can't wait to go again! Thanks guys! Great curry not far from Leeds Bradford airport. If you staying nearby and want a meal without substandard hotel food just come here ! Large portions and great value

Surprised to read recent review regarding king prawn puree, we have had food from this restaurant for 25 years plus. And king prawn puree is our go to starter.never had an issue with the quality or how prawns or indeed any food from here has been cooked. Sometimes the wait can be long but then look at the accolades /awards so it's busy. What can I say..........

Won’t come here again £40 on the food and ruined due to raw “king”prawns in prawn puri We called them and told them about the raw prawns and responded with “the chef said that’s how it comes”….. I’m sorry but if the chef says that something like prawns are meant to be raw (not cooked what so ever) then he shouldn’t be a chef. A person who isn’t a chef can easily search that having raw prawns can cause a bunch of problems to yourself. They said that they are sending a new one but 45min later and the remaining food has gone cold and still no replacement. We called and the manager answered, we said that we still don’t have it and the food has gone stone cold but tried making excuses and kept saying that it’s “nearly there” even after telling him the food has cold and ruined and then turned rude when we told him the problem but it was like talking to a stone wall as he was constantly ignoring what we are saying. We going back with it tomorrow as no one showed up to show them the plate of food poisoning . So long story short Terrible Chef Horrible Manager And the don’t ever get the Prawn puri unless you want food poisoning. And that’s if you can call them prawns

Visited at end of a canal holiday on a Thursday evening based on its #1 rating on trip advisor and it more than lived up to its rating. Staff and owner very attentive and helpful with choice of dishes. Spent time with us, didn’t rush us even though the restaurant was filling up quickly with what seemed like mainly regular customers having a great time enjoying their meals. Food was full of flavour, not just hot spices like some places. Plain Nan bread the best we have ever tasted, light and not full of oil, also even normal size was huge. Saw the large one, looked amazing. Overall probably the best Indian restaurant we have been to. Will definitely return if we are ever nearby.

When I first started ordering it was gorgeous. Second to last order everything was awful, including onion bhajis and went in the bin. Presumed it was a one off so left it for 10 weeks and ordered again and nope, was very disappointed yet again. The pasanda was that hot it was inedible. Rest of order was still substandard. Don't know what's happened but I unfortunately won't be ordering again

I usually love the curries from here but tonight's was pretty bland and luke warm. Chips were soggy. We ordered some mango chutney and it came in a huge foil tin which had spilled everywhere. Not ideal putting it in that kind of container! Waste of money as most of it went in the bin.

Nearly 3 hour wait and still waiting for the delivery. Never had this customer service before not even a update when requested had to ring numerous of times to be told it’s on its way

Normally absolutely love it here and we did enjoy the food tonight when we visited and would come again (albeit we would be a bit wary) but the whole experience other than the food was an absolute nightmare tonight! Myself and my friends had a table booked for 7pm but got told to go to bar alongside what seemed like 8 other groups of people because they had overbooked. We had to all squash into the bar and look at the menus there and order what we wanted before we had even been seated at a table. We eventually got seated at about 8:50pm so nearly 2 hours after our initial booking time. We thought “yes great now our evening can start to look up” but we were wrong - we got seated at a two people table when there was 4 of us and we could barely move - our mains had to be stacked up and quickly emptied onto our main plates and we had to put the plates on the floor otherwise we couldn’t have eaten! Honestly we couldn’t wait to leave and the atmosphere was not good - it was very apparent the other groups of people around us were getting incredibly frustrated too as they had waited hours to get seated as well. We really felt for all of the staff as you could tell they were trying their best and we did get a complimentary round of drinks and popadoms to share so I would like to applaud the effort from the staff - clearly something just didn’t go right this evening and they did do everything they could to get everyone seated and fed. In future I’d maybe just make sure you don’t overbook tables because whilst we would attend again as we believe it was a one off because previous visits have been lovely - if this happened a second time like tonight we 100% would not return

I have been on many occasions and always found the food good. This time the service and food was excellent. We had the fish and chicken pakora for starters with pickles and popadoms. Chicken chilli balti for mains which had a great kick. Beats the pants off many larger restaurants in Bradford.

As always brilliant service and food spot on! Our fav curry place, will never go anywhere else but kiplings. Nicest curries you’ll ever get 👌🏻and staff have so much time for their customers regardless of how busy they are

Food great, but delivery terrible. Had to cancel today’s order 2.5 hours and not delivered. Unfortunate because the last meal we had was amazing. Might be an idea not to take orders unless you can fulfill them in a timely manner

Food was over an hour later than estimated. When phoning the restaurant, was passed to 4 different people before getting an answer.

The service and food were both excellent great atmosphere in the restaurant which was busy even early in the evening despite this we didn’t feel rushed fantastic evening 👍

Lovely vegetarian curry and garlic naan. Only complaint is the order was delivered 15 minutes after Just Eat said it would arrive. This wouldn't put me off ordering again though as the driver was apologetic and the food was hot and delicious!

Excellent service coupled with the tastiest dishes. Take yourself down to Kiplings for a very satisfying evening. So much choice it's hard to pick!!!! Special mention goes out to young chef Waseem who is definitely following in Tariq's accomplished footsteps. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Good meal last night. Although it was Wednesday the place was busy, just an indication how popular the place is Food excellent, service good & prices still reasonable. Well worth a visit. (Popadoms & pickles, lamb passanda & peshawari naan, chicken karahi & chapattis - all cooked fresh & served hot)

One of those days when you a really good Curry is needed. Helped from Trip Advisor booked on Monday evening. Place was packed, always a good sign. Excellent service from Faz. Chefs Meat sizzler for 2 starters - Tandoori murgh, lamb chops, seekh kebabs, gosht tikka, murgh drumsticks, with fried onions, green peppers & tomatoes- Perfect dish! Mains we both had Chicken Shashlik Karahi - (mine made medium hot) Fresh chicken fillets pan fried with onions, ginger, garlic, cumin, & coriander & dry methi with fresh tomatoes & coriander in a thick sauce. Lovely balance of flavours. A wonderful experience, can't wait to come again.

The food was great, starters were delicious we had the mixed kebab and mixed veg sizzler and the pickle tray was amazing too, really enjoyed my main, I had Chicken tikka makhani and garlic and Coriander nann and it was delicious. Really friendly staff and great atmosphere we will defo be returning in the future. Food was really reasonably priced as well.

This was our first visit and we really enjoyed it. The food was great, very tasty starters and mains, and not expensive. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back! Just a note about parking - I had wondered where we were going to park as it is on a busy road near a large junction so no parking on the road outside. However, I needn't have worried as customers are allowed to use the large car park of the eye clinic just opposite the restaurant.

Amazing food as always, 5 stars all round (including from the hygenie inspector who happened to be doing a random check), everyone needs to pop in and try them, best curry around, great staff, great atmosphere, can't recommend them enough

Got a takeaway, it was cold and really bland, one of the worst Currys I've had in Bradford. Delivery was nice and quick and the man delivery man was very friendly, wich is why it got 2 stars.

Would be nice for the price you pay for it to be delivered at least warm. Flat cold is pathetic for a restaurant so highly recommended.

Always a pleasure here, we have our own preferred table! A lovely meal here and accommodating for children too. Talked to the owner tonight who is really friendly and obviously place is doing great food as it is nice and busy.

Table booked for 7pm but didn't sit down till 7.45.Very slow service,food didn't arrive till 21.05 and then portions very small.Very disappointed.

Food ordered at 5pm to be delivered for 7pm. Just eat says food delivered at 7pm but order not received. Spoke to restaurant at 7.15 and advised on its way and advised not to order from just eat and order via the restaurant. This is the forth time this has happened over past 6 months. Usually we would collect because of this issue. Such a beautiful restaurant should not do just eat if cannot deliver accordingly. Food beautiful but cold and needed warming. Very disappointing.
