Ordered the tandoori mixed grill, and it was so tasty! I asked for the curry sauce to be hot rather than the standard medium, and it was lovely. All the meat was well cooked and flavoursome, the rice and bread were great too. I will definitely be back when in the area again. Friendly service too!

My partner and I often order takeaway from here, and we've been in together a few times too, so I decided to have my birthday meal here as I know it's always great food and great service. And I definitely made the right choice, as the experience was truly remarkable. We were taken care of at every step with every request. The starter, main, and additional bits were to die for. Cocktails weren't too expensive and were quite strong (a lovely combo!) And as it was my birthday, they played music, gave me a free cake (with enough to cut slices for 5 people!), a free large cocktail, complimentary shots (2 for each of our party of 6) and a box of truffles. Wow. Never before have I seen so much generosity in a birthday meal, and it's already confirmed that I'll be returning for my next birthday in 2026. Wonderful restaurant with caring staff, great food & drink, lovely atmosphere and just a feeling of getting your money's worth -- which is becoming rarer and rarer in this day and age. Until next time! 🥂

Visited Spice restaurant with the family during a trip over to Belfast. I have to say the service and food was fantastic, we were greeted and served with smiles from all the staff including the owner and the restaurant had a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend the lamb chops!

Sunil is a top-class chef. The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavour – you could tell it was made with real care. He was so attentive to what we liked and tailored everything perfectly to our tastes. It wasn’t just a meal – it felt like he cooked from the heart, and we felt that in every bite. Big thanks to Raj, the manager, who really took the time to hear us out. He gave clear guidance to the team, and you could see his passion for good food and great service shine through. Everything flowed smoothly because of that. And I’ve got to give a special mention to Pallavi – an amazing waitress who made sure we were looked after the whole way through. Nothing was too much, and her attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. Altogether, the food, the people, the atmosphere – it just worked! Thank you all so much! P.s - Order the Parle G! Chef's kiss!

I can’t even explain how awful my experience was. Like someone else previously leaving a review, if I could give 0 I would. Let’s start with timings, it took 2 hours for my food to arrive despite ordering before 6pm on a Saturday. I’m vegetarian and my mixed veg curry basically consisted of peas and sauce - not to mention it was the blandest thing I’ve ever tried. The naan bread was about an inch thick and was too doughy. Would never order from here again.

We asked the Raj Bengal to provide a meal for twelve people for a 60th Birthday. They suggested two starters, two mains, rice and naan bread. Earlier in the day they dropped off a heating water bath to keep the buffet warm and dropped off the hot food exactly at the time agreed. Not only was the food to die for (lamb korai the stand out dish) but there was masses provided that allowed everyone to have seconds, and in one case thirds! I cannot recommend the service provided by the team at the Raj Bengal high enough. Thank you for making the Birthday magical.
