The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Indian food

I’ve visited this place several times and also had take aways. At first I was really impressed and couldn’t get enough of their food, and I found the staff engaging and friendly. In the past 6 months or so, I’ve found it to be a hit and miss place; one meal good, then a few not so good. The good times should outweigh the not so good! Several times recently my orders have been incorrect, and of all things, they’ve wanted me to go to them to collect the right thing, or remind them next time I order to refund me for the last incorrect dish, instead of actually being able to eat the correct meal on the night I’ve ordered it! Last nights meal was what I ordered, just not cooked to what I asked for. I didn’t bother doing something about it this time. There a new place opened up in the Valley that I will try, and other than this, I’ll make my own.

What can I say. A friendly and warm welcome when you enter. Fab selection of drinks for all. Cosy and warm and delicious home cooked food. We went for a large family Sunday lunch and we were able to relax and enjoy the food. The whole atmosphere of the place is exceptional. A lovely rural pub, that could not do enough for us all. Thank you for making family memories for us all.

Haven't sat in the restaurant yet but I've used it for takeaways a lot and haven't had a bad meal or experience yet. Edit... having used this restaurant for takeaways as long as 9 years now. I've noticed recently that their prices have gone up but portion sizes have gotten smaller. Also, the quality of the food has gone down There are other restaurant/takeaways locally that I'll be using in future.

This is an amazing restaurant. The owner knows his spices and foods so we'll. He was a great help when it came to placing our order.

First visit and i have to say i was totally underwhelmed. Firstly they told us the takeaway would be ready in 20 minutes, got there on time but it took another 20 minutes before it was ready. As for the food i found the Chicken chatt OK but the pancake was like rubber and then the main of lamb kuri was again very bland. Fair to say I've had better.

Lovely meal here tonight and reasonably priced, warm atmosphere, not been here for while often going to Kashmir but I think it just pips it for food quality

Gone quiet pricey for a sit down

Had freshly made Carrot & Corriander soup which was so tasty. Then vegetable curry with poppadoms flat bread and rice. Also had fish and chips which was super. It was top class... served by such a charming, friendly couple. Highly recommended... Thank you!
