I remember having Bleeker St burger 10+ years ago when they first launched and I loved it. Either they've gone way downhill, this site isn't up to scratch, or my memory was just false. The burger was EXTREMELY rare (I selected "medium" rather than well done but this was not even medium-rare, just plain rare. Very red and very bloody.) Luckily I don't mind rare meat but it was definitely a bit too red and a bit too soggy, the bun disintegrated whilst the onions were still hard and raw. Weird combo. Burger was still a nice juicy texture though, but definitely a little blander than I expected and nothing outstanding. The angry fries were super disappointing. The blue cheese was such a tiny amount you could barely taste it over the hotsauce and after the first small layer of fries there was no sauce at all so I just had a box of soggy plain fries that cost me more than a fiver. All in all not worth the price at all. Much better, bigger, more flavoursome burgers available in London these days. Either the competition was weak 10 years ago or they've let standards slip. Only marginally more satisfying than mcdonalds for 3x the price.

Great pub, awful awful security. The security need to be fired for any of our group to consider returning. Seedy to the women in our group, to the point they did want to go past them without one of the lads. They also became overly aggressive physically and verbally for a minor issue with a glass at the door. This was unacceptable and the owners/venue need to take this seriously. Do not trust these bouncers to keep the venue safe. They are dangerous and violent.

Went there today with a couple of friends for a meal out. Had a delicious lunch to then find that the bill had a 10% tip pre added onto it. I felt it would be rude to ask to remove the tip. But as a teenager im not made of money and I should of had the choice on whether I wanted to donate money or add on a tip. Also 2 dishes arrived with the wrong type of chicken which was later sorted by Toby who was brilliant. Overall the experience was enjoyable but had some disappointing pricing strategies. I might come back. PB

Came to take my disabled mother out and some nice food. Ordered burger, fries and milkshake. After waiting 30 minutes, they started calling numbers above mine. Went to the front to ask what's happening with mine. To be advised someone took my order by accident and brought it back but were making fresh. Had to wait further. Then received my food after further 10 mins. Then started to look for somewhere to sit, it was so busy. Sat down, started to eat and my burger was burnt! I couldn't go back as I already had left my disabled mum for 40 mins and couldn't leave her further. The chips were wrong and wrong burger. Got to say very disappointed at least. A lot of money to waste.

Went there last Sunday for lunch as the first time my sister visited this restaurant the food was great and the portions good. Very disappointed this time with the portions. We got 1 Smashed Classic burger and 2 Smashed Blue burgers. The burgers were really small and you could barely taste the rest of the ingredients and sauces. it felt like you were eating a plain cheeseburger nothing special. The skinny fries were nice (the only good thing). For drinks we got from the fresh and fizzy section: 1 Passion fruit & Vanilla and a lemonade. The passion fruit and vanilla tasted like medication and the lemonade was just ok. The guy who greeted us was friendly but the girl who brought the food was quite rude, we asked for cutlery as we checked that the ones we had already on the table included only knives therefore, we needed more napkins and forks and when we asked she said its there so we kindly said that there were only knives, she then brought another one that had 2 forks so we just had to get another one from the table next to us as we were 3 people. For £42 I would expect a more decent and tasty burger. A man or a young boy would need 2 burgers for sure or 3 in order not to be hungry afterwards.
