They charge you for the service even if you order by yourself on the app.. they say it’s optional in the receipt to cover up, but while you’re ordering the option is not very visible. It took so long for them to tell me that they were out of vegan ice cream and another hour for a refund. I love the burgers, but service is bad. I kinda get it, on weekends everyone is stressed, but still.

Banging selection for gluten free and vegan. We don’t have a Bryon branch near us, but I would drive back to London just for their burgers. One of the staff got our order and noticed I ordered the vegan chicken burger, immediately came over to inform me it actually had gluten in it and offered to swap it to the regular vegan patty. Saved my stomach (and my husband) from a bad day 👌🏻 If you want a decent vegan and/or gluten free burger, Byron’s is 100% worth a look

I stopped by here as a temporary replacement for my usual spot. Unfortunately, the experience fell short. While the service was friendly, there was a clear lack of communication regarding the take-out orders. We weren't informed that fries were included, leading to a surplus we couldn't finish. Additionally, the burgers themselves were underwhelming, and the service charge for take-out seemed excessive.

The food took ages and was sitting in the window for quite a while so it was lukewarm when it arrived. The servers don’t have to take orders because it’s a qr code menu and they were just standing around doing nothing. It wasn’t height of service either, there were only like 5 more tables. The (I’m assuming) manager realised that one of our milkshakes was suuuper late so he comped it for us. It’s sad that he knows about the issue but it’s not being addressed. The cheese bites were not stringy like hot cheese is supposed to be because they were sitting out too long and the chicken was also dry. I liked the milkshake glasses bcs they were metal and would stay cold longer but the condensation was a lot and there was just a palm sized puddle on the table. But the milkshakes were good. That’s it, that’s the review. Pretty disappointed.

We came here on the Saturday of the bank holiday weekend after scouting the food places. First impression was good with a friendly greet and easy ordering via a QR code. However after we ordered we had a long wait for food which I can understand to an extent on a bank holiday weekend in a busy shopping centre but this was long (approx 45 mins for two burgers and fries). When the food arrived it was good however. The worst part was that the drinks we ordered first did not arrive until we basically finished the meal (approx just over an hour sat down at this point) and after asking twice and being lied to about getting the drinks. This place could be really good but the service needs tightening up. A few of the servers would rather spend time joking with each other hidden round the corner by the toilets than doing a good job.

Awful and difficult service. The staff were polite, but totally unprepared for what they were doing. I was given a table with no menu, then waited 5 minutes to find a waiter to ask a menu from. I chose the food I wanted from the menu and called over a waiter only to be told I have to use the QR code on the table to order. I used the QR code to order, and surprisingly I cannot pay cash and have to pay for my food immediately by manually entering my account details, not even by touchless. The food takes quite long to come, and the staff forgot about the food on the table next to me because they waited even longer. Halfway through eating I wanted a coke. I couldn't get my phone out because my hands were greasy from eating and couldn't put in my bank details in such a situation. Had to negotiate with waiter to be able to pay for my coke after my meal is over. It was also incredibly hot in there with no air conditioning. Food was fine, but nothing special. Service was painful and more difficult than it needed to be.

Bit of a theme developing here - The online ordering is a shambles. The couple at our table before us left without placing an order due to the issues. We persevered with no success & were told we needed to go to the till to order, why our server couldn’t take our order using a pen and paper is beyond me. The food was ok at best for the price, £49 for 2 burgers, chips, coleslaw & soft drinks. The icing on the cake was the 10% service added. What service, I had to place the order myself! If I wanted to place an order at a counter, I’d have gone to MacDonalds & paid significantly less.

Byron Burger at Westfield was just an okay experience. Lady when we arrived was pleasant. Explained we have to order from the table by scanning the QR code. The man serving us was less friendly. No service with a smile from him. The restaurant wasn't even busy so can't really use the "they were rushed off their feet" excuse. The menu is okay apart from the sauces. They mark the sauces vegan but then when you go to the checkout screen it doesn't have a VG beside it. I had a sauce which I'm convinced wasn't vegan. The burger is okay. It was the beyond burger but the chips were bad. Not really hot or crispy. I know there is a cost of living crises and inflation but I found the quality of the food didn't justify the cost. Overall, I felt it was an average experience.

Firstly, I would like to apologise to the members of staff working on Saturday 13th July Clearly, me turning up to their place of work interrupted their time to relax and chat with each other. We arrived around 3 for a burger meal. We were pointed towards a Table and told to scan the QR code to order and pay Heavens forbid they write it down and get it for you... Their app was down... Once they had told us how to log on, and then agreed to take an order, the waiter took our order and payment. The waitress then all but threw the food and drinks accross the table. Presumably her phone had beeped and she needed to get onto her socials.. I wonder if these people who turn up and put on a Byron badge realise they are representing the brand If they do, I wonder if the management have ever carried out any mystery shopper visits Its certainly no mystery that the staff see the customer as an inconvenience to their day. If you want self service, go to McDonalds. They are cheaper and you know what you are getting!!

I have visit this place for the first time ever or tasted anything from them. What prompt me was my birthday gift offer from them and they did not disappoint. I had no reservations and the queue wasn’t bad. The member of staff has found a table for me and was attentive throughout my entire stay. He explained to me how to order, how to use voucher and recommended what is the tastiest and biggest deal in the restaurant. The food came freshly made in front of my eyes, as they have open kitchen, piping hot and absolutely delicious. Not to mention the amount of delicious condiments to make your dish go another level. I would like to say thank you to Anoop for outstanding service and care.

You are forced to order via a QR code on the table, which makes the whole experience feel downmarket. Service charge is added automatically to the bill, despite there being no service. When you click on this, you are presented with a message that can only be aimed at guilting you into paying the service charge (see photo below). An all-round unpleasant customer experience. Food was ok - be aware that the lunch burgers really are small. The chips needed seasoning. The chocolate milkshake was great.

I went as part of a party of 5. It was a Wednesday and not busy. Waiter couldn’t get away fast enough. I asked for a paper menu as I had difficulty ordering on the app. I then had to go to the till to order. He got our order wrong and charged us for an extra meal. My son who’s a vegetarian had a real problem getting ordinary cheese in his burger as opposed to vegan cheese. Then we were overcharged for an extra meal and service was not optional. Overall not good, paid for almost non existent service. Sadly we won’t be returning.

The one and only waitress was lovely but ordering is now all done online. The food is average at best, we had the vegan burger and chicken tenders and those were okay but the vegan oreo milkshake tasted like old biscuit. Like I said the waitress was great and swapped my milkshake. To top it all they put a service charge included in each order with the message to please leave it on because the staff need it in this current "climate", if they say the staff need more money shouldn't they just pay them more?

I couldn't give service 1 star, because no one was rude or anything, but it doesn't really exist. There are a few staff wandering around telling you to use the QR code, that's it. We ordered that way, there wasn't an obvious option to split the bill, so I just paid it and we'd sort it out later... food was a bit slow to come and wasn't a hot as it might be, otherwise tasty. Then as our table was cleared we were asked about deserts. We said we'd have a think. No one returned. When we eventually flagged someone down to order desert, they just pointed at the QR code again and wandered off. This would mean another transaction and all the bother of going through it, when we just wanted to tell the guy what we wanted, which for us, the customers, is much easier. We decided against desert and left. Desert is usually the most profitable item on a menu, food-wise, from a business perspective, this seems like a big opportunity missed, particularly as you have staff who could take an order. We thought about how much more we would have spent, and how many more people wouldn't have bothered with desert across every Byron restaurant, day after day, month after month, year after year... a huge amount of lost sales accumulating almost like a mountain of ghost-cash. My advice to the whoever made the decision to go 100% QR code across the business would be this: Go find a mirror, maybe in the corporate HQ toilets, check no one else is in there, then stare into the mirror, looking deeply into your own eyes, and begin to chant "why am I a moron?" over and over. This will bring about a feeling of humility which may cause you to reverse the decision. If you don't, you won't be working for Byron in a few years, there's no point in a restaurant like that.

Some genius within the organization has stopped chefs cooking burgers to order. Everything is now incinerated rather than your choice of medium rare, medium or well done. The outside of the burgers is so charred it is now difficult to cut with a knife and what's left inside is horribly overcooked. Our severs shared our dismay as did the manager who had to get our inedible lunch recooked. The product was only slightly less worse. Next they have abandoned using real cheese; cheddar to be exact. Now all you have is American plastic processed cheese sludge or Byron cheese which is only slightly more palatable than sump oil. That's the burgers now, utterly ruined. Then the final straw is ordering via an app. I like the staff at Byrons, they remember us because I always treat them well, talk to them politely and leave an enhanced tip. They work hard and deserve it. If I wanted to order food on an app that's McDonald's for you. If Byron's is looking to increase profits then charge more and do the experience right. A race to the bottom ruining the only thing you did exceptionally is the way to go bankrupt very quickly.

I ordered a burger. I have noticed that when other customers order food, they get it within 10 minutes. I waited about 40-45 minutes for a beef burger. When it was served to me, it was small, and the meat was cold and hard. For £15 this is not normal. Prices are high, and quality is low. Not to mention the quality of the food. Cold and hard meat.

Food was good, one of the best milkshakes compared to other restaurants, service by the waiter was great considering he was the only one!, but the whole experience was ruined by screeching escalators nearby. What made this worse is that the restaurant are only allowing customers to sit in the outside seats - which by the way are much less comfortable! Whatever their reasoning is for not allowing customers to sit inside - whilst Westfield are working on the escalators and the awful screeching noise continues, the restaurant should show consideration and seat customers inside! I did speak with the onsite manager but was not convinced he would do anything about this and have emailed the restaurant but no reply has been received.

We stopped for a bite to eat before seeing a show. Absolutely amazing, Byrons Burgers are a must visit, and it was the best burger I've had. Within the burger, it had their own secret recipe sauce, and that was amazing. Service was great, staff were very helpful and accommodating. When we asked for the bill, I asked whether they sold their secret sauce so I could purchase. He advised they didn't but he did give me 2 pots to take home.

Visited Byron in January, yep great burgers! However on the website stated Bottomless fries available for the whole of January but was told after we ordered the offer had run out. Emailed customer service a number of times and no response!

First time for me and two friends today. Food, staff and service were excellent. Burger’s were lush. Sides of sweet potato chips and Mac n Cheese were generous and tasty. They also serve alcohol which was a bonus as we were celebrating. The food is good value for money. Will definitely return.

Friendly service, very quick food, and tasty burgers and sides all round! With the added bonus on 50% off burgers on Thursdays during January, you can't go wrong! Conveniently placed near to the cinema so the perfect place for a pre-movie dinner or shake.

If you love burgers you will love Byron (Proper Hamburgers), their range of dishes are awesome, freshly made, good portions and reasonably priced. The only reason I’m dropping this review is because I haven’t been here for a while and I was very impressed. Probably my favourite burger and chips. We had the classic Cheeseburgers, skinned fries, Mac and cheese and the buffalo wings all accompanied with a salted caramel shake. Which were all 10/10. I must admit it was pretty packed so we were literally sitting right next to people. However the Friendly staff, efficient service made up for the overall experience.

Terrible customer service, would not recommend. Despite both the official Byron website and Westfield stating the store is open till 10pm, we’ve been told the store is closing when we arrived at 8:30pm. No apologies or explanations was offered, and the staff made no effort/ was rude.

As always the food at casa Mia is excellent. Fresh produce cooked to order and the service is excellent. It is lovely to go into a restaurant and not be rushed. So many choices and nothing was too much bother. A great place for a special occasion I let the girl know that my best friend was birthday and she organised quickly cake whit candles signed happy birthday and also stopped the music and add the happy birthday song so we can make a nice video 😊😇 thank you we definitely coming back we recommend it to everyone who likes Italian food

What a fantastic discovery! A first-class Persian restaurant that is not where you expect it! This isn't Ealing, and it isn't Finchley (where Persian places have sprung up these last 10 or 15 years). This is the far end of King Street, and the place clearly has a lot of devoted customers! The staff is welcoming and polite, happy to help you find what you want, with no pressure to order too much food (as some restaurants do). The bread is fresh, the Mirza Ghassemi is the best I've ever tasted, and we had two superb mains: Baghali Polo (delicious rice, and melting lamb) and a beautiful Tah-Chin garnished with zereshk. Four of us had only 3 starters and 2 mains..... yet we couldn't finish it! Customers were from all different ethnicities: everyone loves Persian cuisine. We weren't sure about pudding, but our waiter brought us a complementary dish of faloodeh (albaloo) which was perfect to follow all the savouries. Thanks to all the staff for a superb evening.

Attended Dockside site. Was very impressed with the meet and greet service. Thorough with the cleaning . Service and food quick. Food pipping hot and delicious . Took advantage of eat out to help help but would definitely go back
