Staying near by Gower Street, and having just arrived in London, I was wanting to go somewhere for a beer near by before heading out to Hammersmith and Fulham to meet up with some friends.Really like to help out the independent pubs and this one was showing up very close to my hotel and handy for Goodge Street tube station.Excellent real ale and cask bar, where you get a warm welcome upon arrival.Showed up without a reservation and the staff made space for me straight away, with the usual COVID critera check in's.Ordered a really good local craft beer and just enjoyed a hour relaxing there.Will most certainly be back again in future as the prices for central London were really good.

Happy hour 2/1 cocktails- this is a super place to drink after work. vibe is good, friendly staff good drinks and very well priced. A must visit.

Pequeño pub decente con algunas mesas exteriores y buffets. Paré para descansar mientras compraba y pedí la mitad de la sidra de barril y un gran vino blanco. No esperaba pagar más de 11. 00 aunque. El personal es amable pero personalmente no volvería otra vez, pensé que era caro para la calidad de las bebidas.

This pub serves three well kept real ales and a range of craft keg beers. It is a small pub so come early to get a seat. Prices are good for central London, one of the beers £3.25.

Good selection of beer and nice lager albeit quite pricey even for London. Food was ok - we got chicken burgers and they were ridiculously thin. The beef looked much better!

Not far from Goodge St tube this single bar ale house is a convivial treat. 3 real ales on our visit and the prices beat many country inns. Worthy of a visit when in town you’ll not be disappointed. GBG2019 pub too

Great range of craft beers, only tried Siren's Suspended in Vermont. Quick service although the place was nearly empty which was surprising for a weekend afternoon. Near to Goodge U/G although I did walk up from Oxford Street. Worth another visit.

Lovely little corner pub, decent selection of craft beers on tap and some good cans in the fridge. Friendly service.

The good aspects of bar were; delightful barmaid, innovative spin a wheel to get 10 or 20% discount or buy the barmaid a drink, traditional pint glasses, beer glass ledges outside if you fancy a cigarette. But my expectations were probably too high. Whenever I see ‘craft’ beer or ‘real ale’, I expect a lot, & neither myself or my friend thought the beer was especially good ( or well kept ). In fact I left half a pint!

Dejado en mis propios dispositivos mientras las muchachas de la familia asistían a un casting, este establecimiento pintoresco me llamó la atención. Necesitaba un refrigerio, así que me pareció el lugar perfecto para basarme, ¡no podría haber elegido algo mejor! Fue muy refrescante encontrar un pub que se haya tomado el trabajo de buscar la cerveza más original que he probado en mi vida. Me ofrecieron pequeños probadores de muestras gratis antes de comprometerme con lo que quisiera como pinta. Un bocadillo de pajas para raspar de cerdo complementaba perfectamente mi fiesta de la cerveza y el servicio fue más que excepcional. Literalmente no quería irme de este lugar. Aunque no se muestrearon, la comida que cocinaba en la cocina olía increíble y la próxima vez tendré que disfrutar de una hamburguesa. El ambiente de este pub fue perfecto para todos, de hecho, la esposa y la hija se unieron a mí después de su casting y ambos se sintieron relajados. No puedo recomendar este lugar lo suficiente.

Realmente no sé lo que la gente espera a veces. Este es un pub súper pequeño con un gran servicio y una variedad de cervezas muy decente. El personal no podría ser más útil y puedes probar primero las cervezas, ¡y el tamaño decente también! Sí, algunas cervezas son caras, pero son cervezas de calidad y la lista de precios es muy clara. Conseguí algunas cervezas más baratas y todo sigue siendo bueno.

Acabo de regresar de mi almuerzo donde comí una hamburguesa de pollo BFC. Después de esperar mucho por la comida (aunque no había nadie más en el pub), el pollo no estaba bien cocido en un moño que probablemente valía 20 p en una tienda, un poco de lechuga y queso McDonalds barato. Todo eso por 10 solo por una hamburguesa. ¿Quieres papas fritas? Pago extra. Ahora estoy preocupado de que pueda envenenarse con comida, debido al pollo sangriento y mal cocido que olía como a pedazo de porquería expirado. Por el dinero que cobran hay lugares mucho mejores.

El personal no escucha y le da lo que quiere, ¡no lo que se le pide! Cuando los cuestionas pretenden que no entienden. . . . . . 18 por dos vodkas con soda plana, no lo creo. Pobre, muy mala experiencia.

Este es un lugar favorito para conocer un amigo antes de ir a cenar cerca. El servicio en general es bueno y hay algunas cervezas, interesante. El pub está situado en una zona llena de restaurantes con cocinas. El eslabón más débil de la cerveza que encontramos fue 4. 3%, con muchos estar en el 5% a 6% de gama que es demasiado fuerte para mí en la noche. No han comido aquí

Cara de cerveza (9 libras por una lata) y personal prissy. Verdaderamente una experiencia horrible. Muchos pubs con gran artesanía mejor cerveza, este es uno de perder.

This is a small bar with a great selection of beer. Friendly knowledgeable staff could not fault it. Great for a quite drink. They also had 3 casks on he go which is great.

Went about 2 years ago and drank four to five Stiegls. This weekend I was craving the Goldbrau once more and with only vague recollection of where the pub was I found it again and they still had Salzburg's finest on tap. Well done lads.

Friendly pub, we only stopped for drinks on a Saturday and to duck out of the rain. I really wanted to try the foot long scratchings or Scotch eggs but we had dinner reservations elsewhere so maybe next time.

Great little bar, we called in late one Saturday afternoon and got a table. The bar is fairly small, so not too many tables. Good selection of beers and unusually for a beer bar a good selection of wines. Good atmosphere and service. Will revisit.

Cerveza y un gran ambiente. Y me encanta la decoración navideña tanto como la próxima persona. Sin embargo. Por qué alguien insiste de poniendo las decoraciones de navidad encima del bar, en una hora punta (1930) una noche de sábado? ? ? Estoy dispuesto a aprender de qué tipo de genio es a jugar. . . Pero cuando pedimos desde el bar para que pongan decoraciones estoy perdido para las palabras. No mañana más tranquilo en un bar en el centro de Londres no existe? Son decoraciones que urgente? Pero de nuevo, una cerveza.

Esta buy bien! La cerveza es barata, tienen cask (tipica cerveza inglesa) y cerveza normal. Esta bien de precio.

Staff really friendly and welcoming. Excellent range of real ales with really good taste. The only problems were on Saturday afternoon as the bar is so small there were no seating and it was noisy as there was nothing on the walls to absorb the sound. Would return as the beer was good but hope to get a seat.

Of the pubs in this chain I have visited this is my favourite. It has a proper pub feel and a diverse range of cask and craft beers at reasonable prices for London. Tasters cheerfully offered.

Went in for some lunch and was told its wing Wednesday so I ordered wings sadly they took ages turned up warm at best very small wings overpowering vinegar based sauce with way too much acid. I have lived in Texas for years I know a good wing sauce and sadly this was not it.

Last time I visited this watering hole it was called The Nothumberland Arms and was, as usual, bubbling with life and laughter. This time the name had gone...and so had the customers. Not a soul ion the place at 12.45pm when I popped in for a pre-lunch pint. When did the name change? No idea said the solitary bar person. Hope the place livens up in the evenings or I fear yet another name (and management) change is looming.

We called in here for the first time while in the area. Really nice atmosphere, staff were very friendly and helpful. When I asked what beer was recommended, I was immediately offered several samples of what she was recommending. The food being served looked really good too.Will definitely come back again...

This fabulous little pub has a great selection of craft beers (which the barman will allow you to sample before you make your choice) and did the best veggie burger I've had in a pub. The TV was on and music played, but it was unobtrusive and I read my book as I ate my lovely lunch.

This was a great little bar close to our rental flat and we enjoyed the fabulous craft beer selection more than once on our 5 day trip. It was a cozy, yet lively atmosphere and music they played was right up our alley. Cheers!

happened upon this place last week. As a fan of craft beer the draft house offers some of the best selection of ales i have ever come across. the food is great too, i had the burger which was delicious. I will definitely be coming back again soon!

The Draft house is a quaint pub on the corner of Charlotte street that serves an extensive range of ales,lager,beers working my way through the menu as I write this also have some lovely whisky,really chilled place and lovely staff,food looks very tempting too. It was a welcome sight after walking for 12 miles around the streets of London,I think I've found a new favourite city.

Após um passeio pela Tower Bridge estávamos famintos e entramos porque pareceu simpático e porque estava cheio. O nome da casa já fala de sua especialidade e não me decepcionei com a bebida. Uma India Pale Ale britânica de 5,4 de álcool me deixou muito satisfeito. Para completar o clima pedi Fish and Chips que veio excelente.

I read about Draft House in a good beer guide so jumped on the tube purposefully to visit. I came here over lunch on a Friday afternoon and it was packed, people spilling out onto the pavement outside which is a good sign. I got a seat at the bar and was served no problem. They have a great selection of craft beer and had a Lagunitas event on the night before so the taps were dominated with that brand, which was fine by me, as it included varieties that aren’t too readily available. The lunch crowd cleared not long after I arrived and I was able to get a table so I could get some lunch. There was a selection of burgers, I chose one with blue cheese and fries, very nicely cooked, loads of flavour, decent value at less than a tenner. If you like good beer and food, you could do worse than call in here.

We came here for drinks before seeing Morrissey at The Eventium. There was a good choice of drinks and the food looked nice although we didn't eat ourselves. We sat outside in the Hot Rod Hut which was very pleasant in a wooden building in the garden. I would definitely return when back in the area again.

Of bottled beers and a decent but underwhelming selection of draft beers. I expected more. What was there was good. But the dozen or so beers on draft were too similar in my opinion. We tried one pale ale that also worked out to be 8:20 per pint! That's just ridiculous! I would go again if in the area but not make a special trip the craft beer place in clerkenwell has 3 or 4 times the number of beers this place has.

Went here on a Friday evening, the place was obviously busy but didn't take too long to get served. excellent beer selection and all the usual other drinks. Not many tables but you could stand outside as well as in so it was fine..

This little pub has a great selection of ales, mostly in the bottle so expect to pay a premium for these. Didn't try the food but what we saw looked good. Staff friendly and informative. Well worth a stop.

My husband and I enjoy traveling for craft beer in the U.S. business took us to London and the traditional Brit brew doesn't suit our palettes. Found Draft House quite by accident. Wow. Great friendly staff and patrons. Introduced us to Kernal which is a top notch IPA - and this is coming from veterans of San diego California microbreweries. Sadly no Beavertown Gamma Ray but had some Neck Oil which was an easy drinking brew. Had another IPA on draft. Can't recall name. Also proof that craft brewing has come to London. Agsin Chris and other bartender (from Scotland) were great.

Yes it's tiny, but we still managed to find room for 18 of us to meet up. Excellent range of ales and craft beers served by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Minimal food, but I'm told the pies were very good. Plenty other places to visit nearby in this awesome area of Big London.

Great for lunch if you can get a seat, there's not many! Had a great pie and mash washed down with a beer and friendly banter from the bar man. Gets really busy in the evening and getting to the bar can be a mission let alone eating.

Lovely place for simple lunch in town. Excellent, knowledgable and friendly staff. Had the special - Chicken and mushroom pie - supplied by Square Pie. Comes with mash and liquor or gravy. Great selection of ales. I'll definitely be returning.

Took my husband here as he has recently discovered craft beers and ales. The place is tiny and it was packed (which is always a good sign). Unfortunately we couldn't get a seat but we managed to lean by the bar. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Tons of beers to choose from so everyone would be happy. I had a rather girly, light Icelandic beer. Delicious.

For my beer loving husband - this was a great find! He practically drooled when he saw the lovely beers on offer. And one of the barmen, while out collecting glasses, even took our order outside and brought me my delicious beer! Kerbside service..., how wonderful!

I stumbled on this place while wandering around London. It is a small venue but has a cool vibe to it. The daily cask for 2.75 is a great deal plus they had a lot of other good beers. The food was pretty great too. I had a burger with a fried egg on it that was fantastic. Really friendly service and good prices. I would definitely go back!

I discovered this excellent pub in Fitzrovia, while visiting London recently and was very impressed. The range, prices and service are top notch and the patrons are friendly to boot! Each day, they have a guest beer at a reduced price, plus about 15 other taps and numerous bottled beers from around the world. While there are traditional English "Real Ales" on tap, there are also a number of Craft Beers from the UK and abroad. I highly recommend this as a great spot to grab a drink, if you want a relaxed atmosphere and great beer that you probably haven't tried before.

Perched on a street corner, this small but perfectly formed little bar serves the local neighbourhood very well judging by the overspill onto the street by thirsty drinkers.Although it's basically a small straight bar with limited seating they serve a good roster of beers - both craft keg and handpulled including one that is one a special each day - for less than £3.I enjoyed a couple of local beers from the best of London's breweries. Funny though that they think 50 breweries in London is a lot - when you think that Yorkshire has 150 breweries serving a quarter of the population of London !!

I have been to the Draft House a few times only to drink a beer with friends. I do not know if they actually serve any food. Beer selection is huge. The barmen are knowledgeable and they will let you taste a couple of draft beers if you are undecided. They also serve a good variety of Belgian beers. The only negative is that the place is really tiny and noisy. I will definitely go back to taste more beers!

We popped in on a whim after a meal on the Saturday before Christmas expecting it to be busy, we were pleasantly surprised as we approached the bar. The barman gave us all tasters and talked knowledgeably about all the drinks - lovely end to our evening with friends! Thank you!

Thıs place ıs rıght near my offıce and has become a favourıte among the staff. The beer selectıon ıs nothıng short of amazıng, gıven the pub's small sıze. They change the selctıon often keepıng ıt fresh and I dont thınk I have gone ın there and had the same beer on consecutıve vısıts. There ıs a busy post work crowd most days, ıts not n-uncommon for ıt to remaın bust untıl 10-11pm each nıght. There ıs also a small bt-ut tasty selectıon of food avaılable. Overall one of my favourıte spots for a pınt ın London.

We spent a Friday night in Draft House and left really impressed and sure to return. Maybe not until bonus month though...The craft beer stock was wide ranging, well selected and well kept. The staff were genuinely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. They were also using a 'floor walker' - an incredibly cool and well informed guy who randomly appeared at your table, cleared glasses then offered to serve you more beers and snacks, with well thought out recommendations. A brilliant idea that added hugely to the experience (and probably doubled their profits!)The prices were, as with many craft beer pubs, eye watering. One round of 3 beers and 3 scotch eggs (see below) came to £29. I suppose that's what you pay for some limited batch beers. It was not quite as easy to accept paying around a fiver for a bottle you could get in a supermarket for £1.60. Another standard for craft beer pubs seems to be the limited range of food in the evening. We tried all the options available: pork pie, scotch egg, footlong pork scratchings. All were nice, especially the locally made pork pie, but come on - there are they animals out there (what do Jewish craft beer fans eat?!) and even other food groups (vegetarian beer fans? There must be some?!). Over all a great experience, but perhaps one that could be made more accessible (pricing) and inclusive (food offering).
