Absolutely fantastic burgers. They take their beef and their CHEESE seriously here. Good shoestring fries, and the ground floor is stroller/pram/buggy friendly

The only good thing was the cheese they used. Came here for the second time, terrible service, horrible smell (mixed with toilet, detergent and fried food. Asked them to change my glass two times because they were not clean. Hopefully I haven’t cought any bacteria.

Experienced worst waitress of all time. When I asked her a question she made such a face that I thought she was having a stroke. I should have called ambulance. She didn’t answer it eventually either. You should stay away.

I love this place, the food is excellent, not to mention that I was able to eat quietly with my friends and enjoy the atmosphere.

The menu was simple which made for fantastic food. There was no food left on our plates and my children really enjoyed their meals which was a first.

Very good burgers, especially if you like cheese! Raclette fries highly recommended!

Service was pretty slow, and when we did recieve our burgers the cheese was nice but the patties were pretty dry and chips bland

Nice and pretty atmosphere, however the food was nothing special, the snack had dry bread and meat that was a little tasteless and not the same as what is in the photo on the menu. Reasonable price for the snack. Expectation with different reality!

The meat in the burgers was okay but the rest of the burger was quite soggy. Service was very slow too.

We stopped in for some lunch, the burgers were a little expensive but we got the 'le big smash' deal which was a double smash burger and chips for 11 pounds which was well worth it. The burgers was very tasty and the fries were good too but definitely needed salt. The service really let them down though, we asked for mayonnaise at the start and again during the meal, we never received it even though the place wasn't busy and the staff where just chatting.

Fairly small room so quickly full but we were able to get a table of 4 after 20 minutes. The food is good and the waiters are friendly 👍

Found this fabulous burger restaurant, on our way to Royal Albert Hall, all I can is these burgers were extremely tasty just like the performance at RAH and complimented with piping hot fries. The Sassy cider was great too. Will definitely be coming back again!!

Honestly can’t understand how some people enjoy the burgers here. I ordered one with caramelised onions on, I assume they had some poor balsamic vinegar or similar on but my whole burger just tasted like sharp vinegar with cheese and was borderline inedible. Fries were fine.

We enjoyed our meal here, there's a limited but creative selection of French burgers and accompaniments to make this a solid casual lunch outing. The service was flexible and friendly throughout which definitely up leveled the experience, along with the fun and eclectic decor. I had the popular Raclette burger with Raclette cheese, bacon, caramelised onions, chives, Big Fernand BBQ sauce; a spin on an American western burger but distinguished here by the cheese of course. It was very good, definitely a must try.

Burgers are piece of art. Menu is so creative, absolutely delicious.

The best burger I've ever tried Smash D'ambert "spectacular" intense flavor, I didn't take a photo because it's not very aesthetic but it has a spectacular flavor, highly recommended from Spain.

Good burgers with french cheese Friendly staff

Stopped by for lunch with my brother in law and his toddler after a visit to the natural history museum. What a treat we had. Great burgers cooked well with the choice of sesame seed buns. Raclette cheese fries was tasty - pungent, melty cheese all over crispy chips. The little one had a kids menu and he happily devoured the whole burger.

Had a lovely time here! We came after going to the museum, it wasn’t too busy just yet, though it did seem to fill up a bit later on. The food was lovely, we had a raclette burger, a savoie burger, and the raclette fries. This was the perfect amount of food for two people. The food was all amazing, I loved that they had different cheeses for each burger, and explained the differences. I believe there was also the option to have a couple of their burgers with a veggie patty. The service was lovely, everyone was incredibly friendly and polite, and they gave us good recommendations. We spent £37 overall, for two mains, one side, one drink, and the tip. So it was very good value for money.

The snack is delicious and the atmosphere is pleasant. I didn't find the snack expensive, it's within the price range. They managed to leave the meat at the right point. I ordered a snack with potatoes and beer, it was £20.

Very fast response times. The vegetarian burgers are delicious and come with a fluffy bun, great sauces and a great amount of cheese. I love the design of the restaurant :)

A really lovely little gem - casual, all very kind and attentive staff, deliciously light and tasty burgers - highly recommend! Came in last-minute as a group and felt very welcome, particularly with a little baby in tow, which always means so much and makes the day. Thank you and hope to be back!

Good burger but a little lacking in toppings for my taste, a little simple

Great tasting burgers and unique flavours with the addition of French cheeses and coriander. Would recommend if you're looking for something a bit different.

If there’s nothing nice to say, say nothing - but when you get sick from eating at a restaurant I think it is fair to warn others. Place was not clean, I saw the staff barely wiping the tables (if at all). Talking of staff, they were totally clueless of how to manage a busy lunch seating. The toilets were disgusting, and you could smell them from upstairs. The food was average: chicken pieces were burnt, my burger was cold. Was offered a children’s menu but got charged full price for each individual item. And to top it off, I was sick afterwards. I don’t understand why there were people queuing in the rain.

Good place to eat near the museum. A little expensive but good quality. Recommended.

I came with my partner on a Wednesday evening before a show, the only redeeming quality was the burger itself. The staff were rude and unwelcoming, to the point where a couple entered as we were paying our bill and they ended up leaving due to the immediately frosty hospitality. The rest of the food was below average quality, we would certainly not return.

Chilled out dining experience, table was ready as soon as we walked in on a Sunday afternoon with no reservation. Superbly cooked food and was fast from ordering to our table, and freshly cooked. Great selection including meat free burgers.

We were sat by the toilets and unfortunately there was a bit of a smell. It looked like one of the extractor fans in the loo was blowing inwards and possibly up the stairs. Burger was okay. A little dry maybe. And we felt a little ignored although this may be down to the lunch rush

Because of the one indian guys who are our server it’s perfect date for us. He felt us like perfect thanks to him and thanks to Big Fernand and burger was amazing that he suggested. Must be visit every time place.

One of the most delicious black truffle chicken burgers hidden in a soft and freshly baked hot roll ever served. (A friend of mine was over the moon with it!) The old-fashioned style building and very coco sitting area give much more to the atmosphere than the average quick-service restaurant... Perfect place for any burger lover!

This was a pleasant surprise for us. We didn't expect much but the Burgers were amazing. The Jura burger was my favourite and the raclette comes close.

Great service, atmosphere, good quality products but I found my burger lacking taste and bit dry even though it had bacon and sun-dried tomatoes ( i had Jura burger) Will definitely come back to try different burger.. merci!

Fantastic burger restaurant with a strong focus on freshness. Buns made on the day and toasted just before service, fresh beef patties with choice of medium rare - well done, and of course the cheese melted from the wheel and onto your order! Food is fantastic. Truly a great burger and worth the visit. Worth noting sides are additional. budget for £20 per head for a burger, chips and a soft drink.

Had the blue cheese burger which was good but was overpowered by the taste of the caramelised onion. Raclette chips were yummy but portion was quite small. Needed more napkins than one each as burgers are quite messy. No kids menu. Service was a bit slow, bit more akin to fast food type place than sit down restaurant.

Excellent burger restaurant in London. A different style of burger from North America, way more testy ! The French fries are also very good and you can find pops like Orangina which are very hard to find elsewhere. I recommend highly you try it.

We were so hungry and tired after a day out and it looked nice. Wouldn't go back, kinda wish we went elsewhere. Weren't welcomed on arrival whilst waiting for a table, even though every one else was. Never really felt welcome throughout, no server spoke to us. We were never served, they actually served people who came in after us so we used the app. Food was ok. Burger patty was great. Bap was cardboard, fries need work everthing was missing seasoning. Left feeling unsatisfied.

Ordered the ‘raclette burger’ and it did not disappoint. Meat was juicy and paired very well with the raclette cheese. Definitely worth stopping by although I will say the fries were lacklustre and did not live up to the burger at all

Bardzo ładna knajpka w stylu angielsko-francuskim. A wybrane jedzenie smakowało naprawdę bardzo dobrze. Niby hamburger a był bardzo dobrze przygotowany, atmosfera w lokalu przyjemna, kelner sympatyczny.

Pedí una hamburguesa sin salsa y me pusieron una con una salsa asquerosa que me daba ganas de vomitar. Les dije que la había pedido sin salsa y me dijeron que no llevaba y que me la comiese. No la pude terminar, o me engañaron con la carne o con la salsa, pero estaba malísima. Tuve que vomitar incluso. Encima los camareros se estaban riendo cuando les pedí cambiarla. No recomendable.

Burgers were ok. French fries were cold, without taste and clearly from a frozen packet. Waiter got our order wrong, and food came before drinks. We had to chase everything. Won’t be returning.

Disappointed ! We saw this lovely restaurant in the Heart of South Kensington , burgers using French cheese . Inside the resultant is very small with very few table , the downstairs is reserved for groups. The kitchen is in the middle of the restaurant very loud and messy . Burgers have no taste , I couldn’t taste the cheese . Waiters are confused , they can’t even pronounce the name of the burgers . Chips are awful , mayonnaise is horrendous, the bread is a basic Sainsbury’s bread . I won’t go back there , I prefer gourmet burger .

Do visit Big Fernand if you’re in the South Kensington area. The burgers are not really bad cooked with French cheese and the French fries were below my expectations. I had the Raclette one and it was really good by the way! The staff is welcoming and friendly.

Such a bad place, so overcrowded and you can't even get a cheeseburger without having a whole political debate on their burger ideology or having the smallest burger ever on the kids menu . Then, the food, the burgers are air, and the smash burger looks as if it was run over by a lorry. The place is expensive too. Much better off going to a Byron's or a Five guy's. The chips were soggy and the sauces way too salty. Drinks are overpriced and the tables are miniscule. The interior is corny and they pride themselves on non-existent French roots. I will never return and you dear reader should not make the mistake of going in the first place

The burger was one of the best I’ve ever had and the raclette fries are to die for the service was great, our server was extremely friendly and the overall atmosphere was nice, would recommend.

Good lunch deal - great quality and service and very nice to have a gluten free option.

The adult burgers were decent in both flavour and portion size given the location. The children's burger however was really bad. The patty was pancake thickness and so solid as to be inedible which is a surprise given that it was essentially two thirds the price of an adult main. I would suggest they are much better served with providing a smaller/slider bun and a decent thickness patty. Also really disappointed to see the special offer on the way out for a double patty and fries for less than we paid for our single burgers, let alone with sides. Either run the promo, have the sign where people can see it before ordering and tell us about it or just don't offer it. Leaving it facing diners as they leave just left a really sour taste in our mouths.

Staff were strange and creepy towards my partner and made her feel uncomfortable (chef winking at her behind my back throughout our meal, waitress told her she shouldn’t be paying for me and to be careful of me). Food was great though.
