I’ve been here more times than I can count, and the burgers never disappoint. Amazing spot.

I'll be generous with 3 stars because they comped our 1216 burger free. Asked for medium pink and juicy, even made sure they heard 2nd time at the til to make it clear. Came fully cooked. Host apologised and said he will make himself. Came back fully cooked a 2nd time. Apologised again. Guess they don't know how to cook medium or grill is bad? Meat is not incredible nor are the seasonings.. rather bland. Onion rings were nice. Not sure why so many rave reviews... far from 'best burger in London'

Possibly the best burger ever - and we consider ourselves aficionados. The 1216 is a huge combination flavours. I also tried the prawn burger- very tasty indeed with nice big chunks of prawn. Far less filling than the 1216, but that can be a good thing.

Food is brilliant, burgers and sides were both delicious and the service we received from Kim was great, she went out of her way to explain the burgers to us and provided her own suggestions! Would definitely recommend.

French fries were soft and mushy. The meat was too fat in my opinion. I am not sure I’d consider it prime beef, just average.

My partner and I are regulars here. Undoubtedly, it sets a whole new standard for what a great burger joint should be. The food is absolutely fantastic (the Double 1216 is a must-try), but what made the whole experience extra special were people like Kim and Hanna. Not only are they super friendly and helpful, even when the place is extremely busy, these two are always cheerful, making sure everyone is having a good time and has everything they need. They work hard and are a fantastic team. As always, they make our weekly burger fix a very special experience. Not only have we been coming back for over a year and a half, we also recommended the place to our sports team. (They also have a great selection of beers!) Enough said, this place is simply the best.

Absolutely loved the food and Kim was able to help me immensely with my order and gave me recommendations. She made the whole experience perfect! Would definitely recommend this place and try the Shrimp & Avocado burger!!

Spielburger in Hampstead is a fantastic find! Their special burger is one of the best we've ever tasted—perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor. The service is friendly, responsive, and genuinely welcoming, making the whole experience more enjoyable. It’s also a great spot for families. They offer excellent deals for kids, and the crayons and paper keep our 7-year-old happily entertained the entire time. We’re so glad to have discovered this place and is our go-to place now!

My kids love Spielburger! The burgers are always fresh and juicy and the staff are so friendly. We often go after school or get a takeaway at the weekends.im gluten free and i love the buttermilk chicken.

Service great, waitress nice. Unfortunately cold tasteless food, not acceptable with today’s choice (unseasoned meat, stale bun, unmelted cheese). Was worse than McDonalds which you would not expect at this price point.

Honestly a great experience all around. Kim and the team were so welcoming and attentive. Great atmosphere and amazing food! It’s rare to come across a burger that has its own place with all the options out there but the bacon burger is truly unique and the sauce is to die for. Will be back again!

We regularly Come to this restaurant due to the amazing food, welcoming atmosphere from the staff and the general feel of the place. We always return as one of our to go restaurants just love it here. A big mention to Kim and Hannah who make us feel so welcome and always accommodate to our children’s fussy needs. This place is a hidden germ for all the burger addicts ! Not only do they cook your burger how you like, medium or well done you can tell by the first bite the meat is top notch ! Hats off to the chef ! My burger was juicy ! I recommend blue cheese if you like strong flavours ! Appreciate the lovely girl with the tattoo that mentioned the lunch deal they have on offer ! Cheese burger and fries for 9.35 ! Blows my mind ! I would definitely recommend this place to my colleagues as I work down the road. Came in with my children and had some lovely food. I was especially impressed by the excellent and most friendly services from Kim and Abdul. It’s was such a convivial atmosphere and would definitely come in again!!

Oh my gosh the food was absolutely lovely. The staff was very welcoming and welcomed us with open arms. My friend has an allergy and the manager took her time and went over the menu with us. She was knowledgeable which made my friend very comfortable. The Korea special was so tasty. Service amazing. Would come back !

It was our first time in London and as we stayed in Hampstead we wanted to try Spielburger as it had such good reviews. The food was absolutely amazing. Best burgers we ever had and the staff was incredibly nice, especially the three ladies at the front who took the time to have a chat with us although it was so busy on a Friday night. We felt very welcome and highly recommend this restaurant.

This place is absolutely banging! Tucked away next to the cinema, opposite Hampstead underground station. The burgers are freshly cooked and taste absolutely delicious. The staff are incredibly kind, respectful, and accommodating. They have no problem making reasonable amendments to the set menu (I.e: not putting jalapeños on my burger even though it's written on the menu.) The food itself is well cooked and presented, chicken and beef were cooked to perfection. I've gone with the fried chicken burger, and the meat itself was juicy and tender, while still deliciously crispy on the outside. 🥵 Truly one of the best burgers I've ever had (and if you look through my past reviews you'll find I've had a few... 🤣) They have a good selection on the menu, and a good variety between spicy, non spicy, chicken or beef. Yet they don't over-do it with having far too many options to the point where it's overwhelming! - perfect balance. And the fries are AMAZING! Being able to choose from a few different ones such as cheesy fries, truffle fries, buffalo, and a couple more (including just normal fries with no toppings) - which just perfectly compliments the burger menu. 10/10 - definitely recommend, and will most definitely be going again before we leave London.

I love the burgers here, give me a 1216 any time any day I just can't resist the juicy flavours of this beast. I dunno what the chefs do in the kitchen but it's some sort of food sorcery. It hard to find an equally good burger even from other spielburger joints. I also love that the staff here are always cheerful and welcoming it makes me want to come back again to hampstead even if it is a 30 minute drive.

Decided to visit here one evening on a recent trip to London. Waitress that greeted us was quite friendly and menu had a good choice of burgers, but I felt a bit uncomfortable in there. The place was not busy, but lots of takeaways and deliveries taking place whilst we were there. Our burgers were okay, but a little cold as think they had been sat there whilst other orders taken next door. Also, my well done burger I ordered turned out to be more medium rare which was disappointing. We weren't offered any other drinks or desserts by the waitress when she cleared our plates so decided to not order further, although originally planned to. It seemed that more priority was given to deliveries rather than the customers on the premises and we both left feeling a bit disappointed.

Best chicken burger I've ever tasted, so juicy and full of flavour! We regularly order from here by deliveroo and rarely have any issues. On the odd occasion we have had something wrong with the order they have been responsive to get it resolved.

Lived across the road so decided to try Spielburger the last week I was in UK. Long story short, I went here 3 times that week.

Took the kids there and we ordered the lunch special. The service was wonderful and the food was great. I will eat here again.

The Fired chicken (thigh) burger is one of the best they serve here. The beef burger was juicy too and nothing to complain about. Very limited options with the beverages also which are not really great. The ambience is very basic and alright. Can light up the area in a better way to add to the overall experience of the Amazing burgers they serve. £25 approx. for 2 with happy tummy.

Eat the really good packaging because the burgers are dry and tasteless. Fries are juicier.They need to look up juicy in a dictionary because they have no idea what it means unless they mean their awful fries. Pick any cheese, theres so little of it it makes no difference.Beware. Don't trust reviews written AI.

This place blew me away with a great burger at a very decent price, in ways I wasn't expecting. Been there 3 times now and the quality of my medium rare classic is always excellent, with a great cosy atmosphere and chill welcoming staff to complement. Food was good , but service was horrendous. We were told there was a 30 min wait for food despite the fact that there were only a few other people in the restaurant due to Deliveroo orders. Then when I asked what the house wine was was told they didn’t know and wasn’t offered any other suggestion of showing me wine or checking . Then when the food was served we weren’t given any cutlery or napkins and every two seconds the door was left wide open .

Solid burgers, very nice fries, lots of ways to make it unique to your tastes. Service is excellent!

Solid burger and well worth the price

Delicious burger place very close to the Hampstead metro station. The burger options are quite interesting. I got the Chicken Burguer without jalapeño and with Guacamole. Best decision ever. Delicious. The truffle fries and onions rings were very good. The ketchup and mayo available are good quality. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff was nice.
