Food poisoning from a Michelin quality restaurant?! Attended with my partner for our anniversary and had the 10 course tasting menu. The food was nice but not at the same quality as other Michelin restaurants we had attended. Only after we returned home did the trouble start. My partner and I both had food poisoning and spent most of the night and following day in the toilet. This was my first time having oysters and I will ensure it was the last. The service was okay however the sommelier seemed quite rude and abrupt. Cosy atmosphere but can get quite loud at times. The last thing we expected from a restaurant of this quality.

I was walking around the center and then suddenly found myself in this little yet quiet and adorable street full of little shops and restaurants. Needless to say that as soon as I saw this little gem of a wine house, I fell in love with it; a bit rustic and cosy, lovely wines at a great price (especially for being central London), friendly and efficient service. Cannot wait to try the brunch next Saturday!

Whilst the food was good, the waitresses were unpleasant, two of them were quite rude so we felt awkward and on edge for most of the evening. We all live in London and frequent many top restaurants - i am an influencer who often reviews said venues, so it's shame this didn't live up to expectations as the food was very good."

Excellent and authentic food with enough atmosphere for the pre-theatre crowd (which included us). My partner was snapped at for trying to enter the restaurant 10 mins before official opening (the door was open). The red wine choice was unconvincing by the glass - white wine selection by the glass much better. Worth a try if you like French cuisine, though it is a little mixed with no real regional bias, so some French people might not like that and find it a little less authentic. Every single dish we had was great, however, and even the gluten free bread at the beginning was tasty. Recommended.

This bakery is outstanding. The chocolate pistachio escargot was fantastic. The daily special was a fig walnut square (see picture) and it was absolutely phenomenal. The latte was good. The mushroom garlic emental (escargot?) was great as well. The neighborhood of Fitzrovia was great to walk through. The staff were fine, but could be a bit friendlier, I didn’t get a welcoming, service-oriented vibe from any of them.

We had drinks and dinner at the Tavern. The wine was reasonable, but very overpriced for what it was. We had high hopes for dinner as we saw (and smelled) a cheeseboard being prepared for others and it looked amazing. However, when our food arrived it was very disappointing. The starters were mixed in both quality and quantity. The crab croquettes were just three on a plate. Not even a bit of greenery to decorate it. The merguez sausage was more lentils than sausage and the smoked fish salad had way too much sauce and not much fish. Main courses were not much better and were delivered in most cases without any accompaniments. The coq au vin was a small portion with just mashed potato. The fish and chips was a reasonably sized portion but not particularly tasty. The half chicken which supposedly came with vegetables actually had one small carrot, a tiny parsnip and one potato. And all the main courses were bizarrely the same colour. The game pudding was the smallest pudding I have ever seen and was served with a bit of gravy and 4 small onions. None of the dishes could possibly justify the cost. The food seriously lacked imagination, flavour and any healthy options or vegetable content. Desserts were equally small portions and definitely not worth the money. Do not bother with this place if you want decent food.

As a local who hasn't visited before I highly recommend this addition to the neighbourhood, it was patently obvious I hadn't a clue how to order a takeaway on their 'kiosk/display ' & instantly the charming 'Antoinette' patiently explained how to search the menu & choose. I did & our dishes appeared promptly & we were gifted additional sauces etc . The food proved to be as delightful as the service . Thank you ..we'll be back .🖖

We used to come to Cote every couple of months and always enjoyed it but the last visit was pretty awful. The staff were pleasant but the food was terrible. The chicken was almost unrecognisable - it looked like it had been frozen and thawed several times and actually looked a bit like an omelette , there was a fairly dire salad and a fish pie type dish that was very overcooked and again appeared to have been frozen. The steak and chips were still reasonably good. Finally we had the soggiest, most tasteless tart tatin - everything was mushy. Very disappointing and we won't be back which is a shame.

If you're looking for the best crêpes in town, don't miss the original crêpe stand—it's amazing and totally worth the visit! Be careful not to confuse it with the new stand next door run by a local pub; it doesn't match the quality of the original. Stick with the best!
