What a find! The cutest little French bistro with a small menu featuring classic brunch dishes done well. It's a tad pricey, but the fact they had Canele's (specialty Bordeaux pastry) completely won us over. We ordered some, thinking there's no way they'd taste as good as the real thing in Bordeaux, but we were proven wrong! They were a highlight of our weekend in London 😍 The order: Sourdough with scrambled eggs & comté (cheese) - £10 Sourdough with scrambled eggs & bacon - £10.50 Smoked salmon toast with cream cheese - £15 Pan au chocolate - £2 Canelé - £2

I went there recently for brunch and really enjoyed it. They have a really nice non-obvious menu, going beyond avocado toast which is refreshing. My favourite was eggs benedict with crispy duck, served in a croissant. We treated ourselves to a glass of champagne which was superb. The service was friendly and attentive. I'm definitely going to come back!

The food was fine. The service wasn’t. We had to ask for everything several times and the response was exceptionally surly. They were not particularly busy, but we needed to chase several times - for food, a coffee that never came and then the bill. Which when it arrived came with some charming abuse from the manager.

We went for brunch on a Sunday. Whilst the food ( egg, sour dough, avocado , smoked salmon) was perfectly fine, the service was non- existent, incompetent and unfriendly. We had to ask for everything more than once. An extra portion of toast took 4 requests, as did asking for the bill.

Be prepared for children size portions on children-sized plates (so it doesn’t look ridiculous) and leaving the establishment hungry. £5 orange juice in a glass stuffed with ice so as to actually avoid giving the customer any juice. An old trick however still embarrassing when it accuses. 14% service charge added to the bill (I have not come across a 14% service charge in London EVER!) Food was passable and well presented, however there are far too many good restaurants with good value for mine to entertain La Ferne. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

Discovered this place when looking for an early dinner after JP Gaultier at the Round house.. Paul was so welcoming and I think seated us and brought us Cremant before officially open (I think). A gem of a place with a lovey menu, both my fiend and I are going to return. Luckily we live further out or this would be my local as food delicious! Service great from Paul, Candice and Laura. Thanks

So sad I feel the need to write this review as I have been to this restaurant previously and wrote a fantastic review. I had a table booked over the weekend but unfortunately my friend tested positive for covid. I rang the restaurant to explain we were unable to make the dinner reservation and the circumstances and I was utterly shocked when the owner of the restaurant advised we would need to pay a cancellation fee of £20 per head. I am fully aware of cancellation fees however covid is obviously an exception to this as I tried to explain this the gentleman became VERY rude and sarcastic advising my card will automatically be charged. I went on to say that's fine I wont cancel we will come anyway as there is no legal requirements to isolate now. The owner obviously refused to allow us to come and ultimately had no choice but to confirm he would not charge my card. I have NEVER experienced a business owner to be so rude to a potential customer and I was even more upset by this because of my previous visit being a positive experience. This just shows the fake smile the staff will put on. The menu is limited and food is over priced for what it is anyway so I can confirm I will NEVER be returning and have also advised friends I previously recommended this restaurant to of the disgusting treatment I received and warned to stay clear.

We went into La Ferme at around 4:30 recently for a drink and some food to accompany the wine e.g. cheese or charcuterie (appetisers but not a meal). This is a time for an aperitif and with our drinks we asked for something to enjoy with our wine. To our surprise the person serving us said they did not serve any food until dinner at 5.30. The reason given: because the kitchen staff need to rest between lunch and dinner. I do fully understand that but we were not asking for dinner, we we asking for something that did not involve any cooking and that the kitchen staff did not have to get involved with. The people at the bar could very simply walk to the cold food cabinet which we could clearly see at the entrance and was full of cheese and charturerie but I guess it was too much work or too difficult!! . How long does it take to take a bit of cheese out the package and put it on a plate, 1 or to minutes max? Instead the person at the bar did nothing. Feedback to the manager of this place: There is no commercial concept in this place. If something as simple as cheese or olives would have been on offer you could have had more business from us as we may have ordered another glass of wine. But we were astonished at just how wooden the service was.

The staff were friendly but the restaurant is very expensive and poor value for money. The cheapest wine is £35 a bottle for an average wine and then 12.5% is added on top. The food was pretty good but the steak tartare had excessive amounts of horseradish and the risotto main was very small.

I unfortunately can’t recommend this restaurant. We went for the midday 3-course menu. There was nothing special about it. For starters we had the fish carpaccio and spaghetti, fish was nice, spaghetti had nothing special that you could not get anywhere else. For mains we had the gnocchi and pork shoulder. Half the pork serving was fat, and the meat was tough, had a nice flavour, but nothing making it special. Gnocchi was the best meal, they were toasted o. The outside and soft on the inside, very nice sauce. Dessert we had the French toast, very nice caramelisation and soft core. The disappointment comes from being a Michelin restaurant, the dishes did not seem elevated or innovative. Service was very kind and attentive.

Food poisoning from a Michelin quality restaurant?! Attended with my partner for our anniversary and had the 10 course tasting menu. The food was nice but not at the same quality as other Michelin restaurants we had attended. Only after we returned home did the trouble start. My partner and I both had food poisoning and spent most of the night and following day in the toilet. This was my first time having oysters and I will ensure it was the last. The service was okay however the sommelier seemed quite rude and abrupt. Cosy atmosphere but can get quite loud at times. The last thing we expected from a restaurant of this quality.
