Best fish and chips around! Also do kebabs, burgers etc. The food has always been great.

Been going here for years. I travel here from Tewkesbury especially. Always have cod and chips and never had a bad portion. Highly recommend

AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID If I could give 0 I would! The kebab for 1 over an hour and 30 mins when you call the restaurant they are aggressive and threatening! The driver came to the door and told me they have no clue what they are doing in the restaurant and agreed the service is terrible! The food was cold I had to put it in the microwave. I was eating my food and then someone called me on a mobile number from the restaurant threatening tone asking me what was wrong with my food. I had the worst experience ordering it and the worst experience eating it! They in the end put the phone down as they don’t like to be wrong! The food was delivered on time. It was luke warm when it arrived ( I live half a mile from the shop). The lamb meat was over cooked and tough. The chicken was also over cooked. What we ordered wasn’t what we received. Chips were fries and not chips. Dissatisfied customers.

I ordered 2 pizzas, one margarita and one doner special at 12:30, they then rang and said they had no donor meat so we asked for chicken tikka instead. The delivery arrived at 3am! 2 and a half hours after ringing the shop and getting no answer even though we was told it was in the hour. We received a pepperoni, margarita and a sloppy onion pizza, all 10” and cold! Not what we ordered at all. The driver then put us on the phone to the owner and I explained the situation and got told to “f off” and when we asked for a refund to “get fcked” Will not be returning here I do not recommend at all.

I order from here regularly - both in person and for delivery. I get kebab in pitta - it's excellent every single time. Tonight I ordered online and chilli sauce wasn't an option- however they offer this in shop. I put in a special request for chilli sauce and they delivered. I'm very grateful and will continue to be a Golden Grill customer.
