I took my mum here for her birthday as she was going out with her friends later on, she loved it and was really happy with the service all the staff were amazing! A special shout out to Akgul for making my mum feel special🥹

Gone down hill. Thin chicken fillets. Soggy fries. Poor after service.

Roosters is one of the best places to be when you are genuinely in need of some great food and company. We as a family have been going there for years, and in those years, almost every week. Love the workers there, especially Akgul. Akgul always showers us with respect, laughs and a welcoming attitude. She treats us like royalties, as her colleagues, especially ( I think he is the Manager. Lovely man). He is always smiling and greets us kindly when we see him. He introduced us to their salad! What can I say! I am hooked :) They remember us and our orders every time we arrive, and have our orders ready for us, even before we stand to order. Amazing memory. Roosters has a lovely environment, as the workers are amazing. Akgul is so friendly and chatty, as the rest of the staff. The food is amazing. The areas are always clean and tidy, especially in a busy place like this. I have no way to fault this place and the workers there now, should get a bonus and pay rise for how professional they deliver themselves. Hope they are reading this. I am the Hummus & Pitta customer, with salad and peri peri chips ;))

Their staff are very nice with their service. Serving was clean and swift. I love their Peri Peri sauces with chicken wings. Their rice item is the best in town. Would love to visit here more.

The furniture and cleanliness is horrible. The seats have been torn for over 2 years but the owners dont want to fix it. Horrible place

They have reduced the size of their chicken wings and have increased their prices twice. It tastes great but is no longer cost effective. Would be better to go to Nandos round the corner.

Akjul was very kind and attentive. She gave my daughter and I great booth to sit at with enough room for my stroller. She also checked in during our eating experience to make sure we had everything we needed and the food was satisfactory. She was very welcoming and made us feel cared for. Wonderful worker and makes us want to go back and eat there again! Cheers!

Roosters Piri Piri is a must have, tastier than Nando's or Franzos. Fresh grilled meat with a choice of fries, wedges or even mashed potatoes! Corn on the cob available too. Great to order delivery or for a lunch whilst at the Ilford Exchange. If you ever feel like grilled chicken but can't be bothered to fire up the barbecue this is the place to come!!! :)

I don’t know if company or franchise will take this review seriously,this is so unacceptable to find a hair on a burger,so disappointing i have ordered a double patty lamb burger for take away and found this in my food absolutely disgusting

Wow_superb_if you wannna Eat Grill Food and rooster flavour just go to ilford.. Mile end romford rooster name are same but test and service so different.

Ordered food at 11:50 and wasn't allowed to eat in because he was closing at 12:00 even though customers already were eating. Poor customer service.

(Yesterday) The food and flavours are amazing and can't fault those But the service from a certain staff member seemed blunt and not welcoming and it's happened on a number of occasions now over the last 4 years I've been here. Seems to be a certain behaviour of favouritism from the woman who serves at the till, she speaks with good energy to people she 'prefers to speak to', but with people like myself, was borderline rude and spoke with no real care or manner, while having a phone in her hand not seeming bothered in taking my order. Such a shame as the food is so nice and the chefs work hard and seem nice too.

We used to visit Roosters quite regularly before the pandemic. The food was good, not great but good enough. However, our recent visit wasn’t satisfactory. We ordered chicken for my husband, pitta and houmous, wedges and haloumi wrap. The food was served cold. So we went back to ask if it could be heated. We are big fans of sauces and dips and strangely there weren’t any. We had to ask the server for sauce. They take your plate and serve sauce on there. At Nando’s (not a fan of the place) you will find sauces galore. We will not be visiting here again. It has lost its touch and taste.

Food is all made fresh and promptly. The staff are very articulate and offer a friendly service. The place is very clean and has a modern contemporary design. It's a great place to get quality fast food without the unhealthy fats and oils and you won't feel guilty. I was satisfied with my food and filled. I ordered the two chicken wrap and two fries for £9.99

Roosters is always a good choice for quick and tasty food. I got the plain quarter chicken as I didn't want any sauce and to me it tasted just like grilled bbq chicken, if you don't want the sauce take it plain and it is just as tasty 😋

Absolutely so disappointed actually appalled at the customer service here, two Asian ladies no smiles, rolling there eyes constantly. May I add Everytime I came to buy something,I apologized as I could tell she getting so annoyed for what reason I don't know, and she then again rolled her eyes!!! Told to hurry up and order just absolutely so so rude...!!!! Piri Mayo tasted like salt mayonnaise also.. will never return here ever and had to repeat myself so many times as apparently they couldn't hear me and then not understand me when I'm English 🤨 and no one was in the shop so I don't see how they couldn't hear me.... Awful avoid

Expensive compared to other places but decent food.

The chicken and chips are always good, the salad is minimal and just from a bag.

We asked for their spicy chicken grilled chicken and they gave us a small chicken that was lathered with a really sour chilli sauce.... We could feel that the sourness more than the spice.... Upon asking them why the sauce was like this... They replied saying that this is how their sauce was and asked us how we never knew their sauce tastes this way.... Service us horrible... And the atmosphere is also not that great.... Steer clear of this place...!!! Burger was also bland with no flavour....

If I could give 0 stars, I would have. Ordered food via delveroo. The restaurant called me after I placed my order telling me my delveroo driver had left with only part of my order and that I should tell my delveroo driver to return. Told my delveroo driver that my main order, the mix platter had not been picked up, he stated it wasn't his issue as the restaurant did not give him the order. I called the restaurant back, who stated they had no one to send. I received no refund and no mix platter. Absolute disgrace!

Very prompt service, care taken with preparation and the food tastes amazing. Went for the lamb wrap, which was seasoned to perfecion and mouth watering. So good you could be mistaken for thinking that you are eating a high end Lamb kofte. Will definitely be returning to order the same,all over again!

Not the quality of food I remember from 2012 and before sadly. Their wraps were good tier. Very chewy chicken and dry. Sweet potato fries were better.

The food is good but customer service is horrible! My baby was sleeping in buggy and I asked them to turn down the music but they said it’s automatic and we can’t which is ridiculous of course they can . Also I ask two sauces for my chicken and they didn’t accept. They need to be more kind with customer.

Very bad experience i asked for half chicken both leg piece and they said they cant do it , And i take that everyday from Enfield branch . The lady said manager has said they cant give not a friendly staff and their rules and regulation changes for every diff branch .. i will rate it zero for staff

Roosters has delicious well cooked food which is very well price too. It is a nice cozy place and kept very clean. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Myself and my husband eat there regularly and would highly recommend this restaurant .

Went with my family and could not help but notice how the service was excellent. We had ordered the meal and the waitress made sure we were happy with our food. The next table had small children and left the table in a bit of a mess but the waitress had cleaned up without complaint with help from her colleagues. Well done to the staff and hope it continues.

I came with my wife and 2 sons who were in a double buggy, the service was very welcoming from Argul, we wanted takeaway but changed our idea to eat in , the server was also very friendly and kind. Food was great as usual. Will definitely eat here again !
