I love the staff, so friendly always have a good chat. Food cooked fresh and tastes very good 👍 from me.

Clean shop, friendly staff, chips cooked to order, food is honestly the best I've ever had! I drive 50 mins (I live on Canvey Island) to get this for my dinner, it's worth the drive trust me!

By far the best chip shop . Used to be place opposite the castle Woodford but now this shop always serves the best fish chips. And I just tried the gents hairdressers next door and that's good as well. So smarten yourself up and then get yourself a treat😁😁

I must say I was not impressed with fish and chips I had earlier today. Unfortunately 2 sets of cod that was given to me were probably there for sometime. The breadcrumbs were very hard, seemed as though it had been reheated etc. Not going there again.

I paid for my food and it never arrived! This was the drivers evidence of delivery..what a joke!

Lady on the counter is racist. It's 3rd time the first order is mine and then a white couple gives an order and 2 more people give orders she gives it to all of them and gets it in the last 30 to 45 min she is not listening, chips are not fresh fish is raw a well. Not recommended to waste your money.

Not fresh chips at all! Very disappointed. Felt like they double fried them. Over crispy and did not taste good.

The chips is of poor standards as well as the sausage in batter. I feel as though they don’t change the oil regularly as the chips taste like they have been reheated and are never taste fresh and have a burnt look to them. The sausage in batter was not crispy and had a fishy smell to it which tells me they use the same oil over and over again. I’ve used another fish brothers in seven kings and omg the quality is far better than this one. White chips as opposed to brown ones and super crispy batter.

Very nice, chip portion could be abit bigger.

Because I got given small cod for large one paid for. When serving it up for wrapping how could staff not see its a small one. No excuse.

Ordered 2 large cod got only one and a small goldfish. It was half the size. Still got charged for 2 large ones. No facility for a photo here. It would deter you garranteed

We Tried the gluten free Cod and chips served on Mondays and Tuesdays and we are very impressed. Cooked to order fish very crispy batter, flakey fish and not greasy just very tasty. The chips were perfect, just how we like them nice and fluffy in middle. We also tried the mince beef and onion pie(pukka pie) All the food was fresh and very hot. On leaving the very friendly young woman behind counter handed me a loyalty card to be stamped on each visit and we will return.

Ordered a delivery. Unfortunately food was of poor quality: cod bites were dark and looked and tasted double fried and absolutely no seasoning - no salt, vinegar, nothing. Some cod bites also had some bones in it. Not great.

Had a the ribs a few weeks ago and today the cod and chips. The cod was kinda meh but its a reasonable price and the chips were good.

Expensive little place this one 🥴staff is rude, even when you ask something that is your right to ask lol Confusing as hell they take long to serve one portion of fish & chips range from £10 to £18 if not more if you come here and ask for chips only, they change . They like big orders . I didn’t like it when I went here first time then second time just to make sure I wasn’t being tricked by my own mind and boom again high prices for a small portion and rude as heck plus the amount of time they take to serve you because they chatting away with their old customers in front of the new customers. With no regards for new customers totally disrespectful . Why have a place to serve people if you can’t be nice ????

This is my usual chip shop but I have been noticing that sometimes when you order chips half isn't cooked all the way through. Also the shop seem to have a fly problem. It doesn't matter what season you go there are lots of flies. I am not eating there again

Popped in to get just chips , 1 large chips and 1 medium chips (don’t do small !! ) cost £5.20, is it me or is this extortionate considering it’s only potatoes and not that nice ones either? ,all dried up with lots bad bits in them, won’t pay it again…… lost my custom now

Picked up fish and chips from this shop last week for the first time. Reasonably priced and tasty, and also a manageable portion, no waste.

We moved into this area in September 2020 and have used this chippy a couple of times a month since then. The food is always excellent and the service is second to none.

After reading the reviews I was a little skeptical about getting takeaway from here. I was happy to be proved wrong. The service was exceptional all the food was fresh and cooked to order, the lady who was serving was very polite and helpful. I highly recommend it here and will definitely be going back.

Great take away. Food was fab, cooked to order, hot and very tasty. Service was fab. Worth every penny and we all need to bear in mind that prices of fresh produce have increased! Will definitely be going back!

Great customer service from the slim lady with glasses, i visit every sunday normally to buy cod and chips , very nice lady very fast , fish cooked very well nice and crispy batter , after all despite being on her own shes fast and cooks the fish well. Absolute rude service. The lady is horrific. She is the rudest person I have ever met in my life. If I ever call up to place and order, even being 2 portions of chips. I turn up to have a half hour wait and she gets the order wrong, talks to me horribly. Does not act like she wants to be there. NOT WORTH GOING. After all, the food is normally not good, does not add up to the price that I pay. But honestly, if they have someone else serving with a bit of common sense than maybe they'd put your order together before you get there, hand it over and make way with you. It takes 2 minutes to bag up chips and hand them over, especially when I ordered 15 minutes after that time she said it would be ready, turn up and not have them ready than wait half hour. Hopefully she can change her attitude and becomes a bit more logical. Never eating there again.

Friday night a long week a treat = Fish and Chips no cooking My husband walked round to The Brothers Fish Bar both looking forward to this YUCK it was awful it must have been cooked at least an hour or probably longer the fish was dry the batter was like plastic I dont think it was ever crispy the journey ended in the bin . the last time we eat from there !!!!

100% the only chip shop I will eat from, great staff, clean shop, fresh food and that authentic British chip shop taste, Cod is cooked while you wait but worth the wait. They do a great burger 1/4 pounder with cheese. I need it lol but seriously if your in the mood for fish and chips this is the place. They handle pork food separately to other meats including grill and deepfryer so if you don't eat pork Brothers cater to that but do tell the staff when you order you food.
