German Doner Kebab in Redbridge

I placed order to be served on the table by the app for the family of 4 and after waiting for 10 minutes upstairs I went down and asked. I been told by a staff member that we don’t serve on the table. When I asked why the app allows to do it. I was told that we told everyone don’t Oder for table. You have to pick up by yourself. It is really a joke. Picture enclosed

I got the chicken/beef milk donor kebab meat on top of chips. The sauces garlic, yogurt, spice are so good. It tasted unreal, I enjoyed every bit of it and wish we had one in Ireland

I ordered gymbox with extra chicken and extra feta cheese and the whole thing including the box weighted 290 grams I also have a photo where you can see the box is untouched and its weight. This guys make a complete joke. Two months ago when I ordered the same order everytime the box was almost full until the top , now it is almost empty for sure less than half full

There was an offer for buy one get one free but they use meat for one and make together. Disappointed

If you want decent food that is filling come to German Doner kebab on Sheffield. If you have tried it anywhere else and didn't like it then you really haven't tried what Sheffield has to offer. The food at German Doner kebab is absolutely amazing which fills you up all day long without having a huge calorie intake which means the food is up to great quality. I'm not just satisfied with the place I absolutely love the place. My girlfriend she really loves eating here aswel and we always come as a couple. There truly isn't anywhere else where I would recommend to visit. If you love kebab or if your are a vegetarian then come visit German Doner kebab in the heart of Sheffield. You will not be disappointed.

My son ordered via Uber Eats. Only half the order arrived, which was slimy and cold. I phoned the restaurant who basically called me a liar and said all the food was sent. I can't tell you how angry and disappointed I am with the food and customer service.

I came in without a mask and I was harassed I told them I’m exempt but they didn’t listen! Only person that was the best in customer service is the little guy with the glasses he knows how to treat a customer with respect. Every other staff was rude but the little guy with the jacket took down my order like a professional, everyone should learn from him. I’m not coming back here again because if I do they’ll ruin my food. Before people think I’m rude or whatever, there were witnesses that saw what happened and they even told me I was in the right because of how I was treated. Meals ordered were smaller than expected, and did not taste great. You will be better of ordering from your local kebab shop as it likely be better value for your money. I wish I did. The novelty of it being German food wears off as soon as you taste the food.

We placed an order with Deliveroo on Saturday 24 October. We ordered the chicken doner with flaming fries and some side dips. The delivery came quickly but the food was cold (like it had been sitting out for some time). Cold, stale chips. The doner also barely had any chicken included. It was almost entirely red cabbage and again was cold. Total waste of money. Won't be ordering again.

I attended the establishment a few days ago. The food was passable, however the chicken was very dry and the salad looked as if it was rationed during the war. I did try to bring this up at the time, however the manager “wasn’t available”, even though I myself witnessed Matthew stood doing the bare minimum and what I can only describe as speaking to staff like they were dirt on his shoe. In my opinion there needs to be some serious reconsideration as to the management of what could be an amazing restaurant. 3⭐️

My partner and I came here for lunch and throughly enjoyed it. We ordered and received our food within minutes. It was hot, delicious and good quality. Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a quick, hearty meal. I had the chicken doner box with fries and salad and I'm very full! The worst service from Donner kebab ever!!!! I was eat with pleasure all the time but today... I made an order for delivery and I wait more than one hour and half ...I call the driver he said to me the order is not ready and when I call inside they say to me oh is busy you know? I say ok I order 1 h and half how busy can t be don t make the orders in order?? And the girl from phone say ohh your order is here is not made yet we will ... this not posibile.. if I wasn’t call the in which year my order was made??? Went last night. Queues into the street. Waiting times over 30 min. About 5 service staff standing around scratching their faces and their hair, no chance of social distancing, nobody wearing face masks. The kebab contained more salad then meat. Nothing to do with German Doner Kebab.

This is the second time I have ordered from the Ilford branch and I have to say if I could give it any less than one rating I would! On my first occasion the food was late and it was the wrong order. I was starving and I was not happy to receive a kids meal instead of the meal I had ordered and paid for. I called to try and rectify their mistake and was hoping for GDK to send me the correct food order but to my disappointment they didn’t, instead they told me it was the drivers fault and to call up Uber help service. On my second occasion I ordered my food at 7.40pm and the estimated delivery time was 9.50pm I thought ok it’s before 10.00pm no problem I can wait. However little did I know that wouldn’t be the case, it is now 10.35pm and the driver changed 6 times adding more waiting time each time the driver changed! I don’t have words to describe how unprofessional this is! I did not expect this from GDK. We tried to call them and the line kept going busy, we tried to call the driver but they said they can’t pass the phone we need to call GDK. It was ridiculous! Never ordering from them again!

Leonardo did a wonderful job at serving me 3times in one day and he was so patient. Excellent food too! Definitely recommend going here.

Sent wrong order then when I complained, the supervisor Orilia told me to send photos to prove myself, as if I waited 45mins for a order to be delivered and then call Doner Kebab to scam them for a few pounds!!... To add insult to injury after I sent the photos I was told that their manager Dana said I am Uber’s customer so they can’t do anything and to contact Uber direct!!

German Doner kebab it’s our favorite. The bread is good and the kebab amazing. Just now I found it a bit more expensive the usually. They charge with Ubereats nearly £5 for service fee + other £3 for the delivery it’s a bit to much. However is a good food.

Small shop. Not much spaces to eat in so it’s hit and miss depending on timings. Staff are great and very friendly. Quality is good but portions are very very stingy!!!! We are regular customer of gdk. We like gdk a lot. Usually we go to Stratford branch. They are always fantastic. Recently we have visited Ilford branch twice, both of our visits were very disappointed. The food was cold! Then we have asked the staff to warm the food but they refused. It was totally disappointing because the food was not eatable and unprofessional service. Definitely not going there anymore.

I ordered mixed doner from GDK Ilford today. I paid £1.99 extra for extra meat. Very disappointed when delivery arrived, as portion was standard with no extra meat. I phoned the restaurant and they advised they have given extra. Felt cheated, as I paid them £2 extra for no reason whatsoever. This is the last time I order from here. My advice is avoid!

I live in east London since 6y and util last year i never eat So delicious kebab. Really best in town. Today 15.5.20 I go there and wait for it as in Romford they do not delivery sadly but It’s deserve all the £. The wrap kebab are delicious. Highly recommend them.

Was really looking forward to having a kebab but yet again they took on too many orders which they couldn't fullfil, I had to cancel my order after eating 2 hours for it. Its only this branch that seems to never understand what expectations are last time my chicken was raw because they were rushing to get orders out! Absolutely derisory portion of meat. Hardly any chilli sauce. We opened the kebab to find that 10 % of this kebab was meat leaving 90% salad. I will not use this place again. They are profiteering with the fancy marketing but deliver awfully small portions.I had to order something else. I was left fruatrated. Today, April 20th, I have ordered 2 Doner durum Wrap and 1 “The Original German Doner Kebab” for Take Away and this was the worst kebab I ever ate!! First of all I received my food after 50 minutes from the moment I placed the order (instead of 25, how it was mentioned) and the main disappointment was that FOOD WAS COLD! Cold like ice! How I am supposed to eat all this? And Doner Wrap was full with veggies, no chance to taste meat! One wrap was supposed to be large, and one normal, I received both normal size! Horrible service guys! Until this moment this was my favourite restaurant and, now, sorry. I will never ever visit or order food from here!!!

I couldn’t speak highly enough of this company. The food is always amazing and tastes so good, anyone would like it. There’s less fat which means you can actually taste the food! The food arrived hot and was prepared quickly. I couldn’t praise the company enough, so impressed! 10/10 guys

I came into the shop on my own for the first time to try out something new... I was attended by Aurelija and she made me feel like I was at home. She was very polite and advised on what I could get as I told her about my allergies. Not only did she help me out on what I could eat she also made sure the restaurant was very clean and she also made sure the job was getting done properly. I rang them before placing an order for delivery. I asked them to pack the salad and sauce separately so it doesn’t get soggy by the time I get it delivered. The lady declined this request despite me offering to ring to confirm once the order has been placed. All because I was placing the order via UberEats. Never had this issue with any other GDK branches barring this one.

I just found a thin long bit of plastic in my doner along with so much fat. The chips were so cold as well. Never again.

I visited the Ilford branch on 20.09.2019 around 6pm. They seemed busy but I was happy to wait in the queue and place my order for takeaway. Cashier didn't seem to helpful when it came to placing my order as she tutted when I removed on item from my order and changed to another. I ordered, doner nachos, cheesy bites and a LARGE original kebab. Totaling to more than £15. I received 3 small pots of sauce to which I asked "may I have some more". The other lady behind the counter rudely stated " I haven't ordered a meal so I'm only eligible for 3 sauce pots". She then went onto explain, my kebab already has sauces inside, the doner nachos has cheese in it so the sauces aren't needed and the sauces provided were for the cheesy bites only?!. I was appalled! Since when does someone else tell you what to have your sauces with but also to claim you haven't ordered a meal so aren't eligible for any more sauce. For your information, I ordered more than a meals worth as i ordered 2 sides and one LARGE MAIN! I should not have to be charged 50p on top of my already expensive meal! May I also add, the LARGE KEBAB that the lady claimed "had sauces already inside" was extremely DRY!" I most definitely won't be visiting again and feel like GDK are a money hungry chain. POOR SERVICE AND DRY AND SALTY FOOD! AVOID AT ALL COST!

German Donner ilford is always the place for me whenever I crave Donner, as it's less oily and good meat. Sadly on this occasion I found a little black curly hair in my food :( totally off putting and disgusting. It was mixed up with the chips, Donner and salad. I did spot this one, but God only knows how many I ate feeling nauseous. Sadly will not be ordering from this place again
