Really amazing food, both the kebab, fish n chips and the burgers were very tasty, and the staff were very nice and welcoming, and the food was made quickly. You get around double the amount of food for half the price compared to other places, and still the food tastes amazing Can only recommend this to anyone visiting stockwell

I recently visited Taste More and was absolutely blown away by the quality of their food. From the moment I walked in, the friendly staff made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a delightful aroma of freshly cooked food wafting through the air. The fish was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked with a crispy golden batter that was light and not greasy at all. The chips were equally impressive – thick-cut, crunchy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. Each bite was a delightful experience! What really sets this place apart is their attention to detail and commitment to quality. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable given the outstanding quality of the food. They also offer a great selection of sides and sauces, which complement the main dishes perfectly. I can honestly say this is the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favour and visit Taste More. You won't be disappointed!

Food is a hit and miss - sometimes really tasty, sometimes really dry and sometimes too salty. Rush when serving you leading to mistakes and items missing. Today, I wasted 10 minutes of my break, 10 minutes spent queuing only for them to mess up my order despite me repeating it several times and then proceeded to shout at me when I didn’t tap my card whilst telling them the order is wrong. Unfortunately I won’t go back - the last 3 times has been awful.

I had diarrhea the next day after eating it‼️ The fried chicken was not crispy and very salty but the chiken kabab did taste good

Very impressed with the quality of the food for the low price! The chicken kebab doner was so delicious and the chips were just okay for being a fish and chips shop which is the only reason it’s not a 5star right now. The staff were so friendly as well, I’ll definitely be returning!

honestly the food is the best. i’m usually picky with turkish and this is the best i’ve ever had! and i wasn’t living in london for over a year and the first day I’m back i came here for a burger and fries! the cheesy fries is amazing and also i looove halloumi wraps! their halloumi is the juiciest! also the staff is so friendly. they’re so kind and you will always have a nice chat with them. highly recommend!

Genuinely the best takeaway I have ever had. The burger was great, fish and chips also were fab! Hal and Tev were also so lovely and made the small wait enjoyable!

The service was very friendly and they were nice. The chips here were top notch and it was a proper chip shop chips. Sausage in batter was also nice. The fried chickens were very dry and the curry sauce was a bit too lumpy.

Best kebab shop in south London

I ordered a mixed kebab, firstly the Pitta bread was burnt to a crisp and rock hard and the meat, oh my god it was like chewing on a piece of rubber! This was lunch time so why the meat was so old looking and tasteless I don’t know! The salad consisted of a few bits of lettuce and one piece of tomato with a tiny dripping of garlic sauce! Disgusting!! Considering it was over £13 I was not happy! This place has gone downhill 🤬

Love this takeaway one of my favourite places to order from on Uber Eats my doner kebab tasted amazing and the meat was well seasoned & fresh also it wasn't swimming in oil (so it won't block your arteries lol) and everything that goes in a doner kebab was packed separately from the meat huge thumbs up 4 me. There Shish kebab and Fish & Chips tastes fresh & amazing too so if your looking for a decent takeaway whether your near by or you have uber eats definitely order from this place you won't be dissapointed.

Every time I have gone to taste more I get conversation a good laugh and smiles all round. The food is always on point. I have never had a bad thing to same about tastemore ever. My family go there all the time, my children love it and I have been going here for about 25 years my family have been coming here way longer. Best kebabs ever honestly filling and worth the money. Sometimes you could share the meat and chips between two and both will be full up. I highly recommend

Best food store in the whole of south London! Unlike so many restaurants they prepare everything fresh on site and have the tastiest food by a long shot. Not many places can boast that they’ve been running for almost 50 years.. Been travelling to Taste More for a number of years all the way from West London and well worth it. Prices are decent and friendly staff too

By far the best fish shop out there!!!!

I've been ordering from them for some time now and i never had a problem or complaint, the was quite good. However for the last few days, the food has been quite disappointing bordeline abysmal. I ordered Lamb shish which was terrible and the Lamb doner was quite greasy as well. i don't know if they've changed chefs or if the recipe has changed as well but something is definitely not right. I am quite disapointed.

Been using Taste More for 25 years and the new staff are rude, look like they need a wash and every week I get fish & chips and every week the price changes?! Recently went in and ordered small chips and there was only a small sized fish left and was charged £18.70 absolute absurd. When I asked how is the price that much the man answered rude back. The only people that should be running the shop is immediate family members because they will lose customers and they’ve lost my custom now as it’s an ongoing weekly problem. Once I ordered from Uber and and my chips were rolled up like shawarma they were squashed and mushy due to being wrapped up shawarma style! Couldn’t believe it.
