I went to this shop in brixton and i got the Honey butter Burger the chicken was way to hard to bite into, the bread was WAY TOO soft and tasted like it had alcohol in it and i couldnt even pick it up like a burger beczuse the bread was stuck to the wrapper and thr whole burget fell aprt, the only good thing was the the music

Honestly the worst burger ever. Burnt to a crisp. Do not order. It’s gone so downhill. A real disappointment.

Used to be great. Recently ordered for delivery and it was burnt so much it was black in the middle. Tried collection today and realised that the stack of chicken had been mass cooked, left to sit there to dry out and then it’s refried. It was also burnt and tiny.

Genuinely 1 star across all aspects. Food could’ve been good but but chicken burger had a comedically small piece of meat. Service could’ve been alright but unbelievably loud music and the lady sat out front leaving us with the music.

So dry I couldn't even eat it. They used to be so nice. Chicken tenders aren't much bigger than nuggets.

Delicious, highly recommended, affordable crispy and crunchy chicken, great fries and they have incredible service and also have a very clean environment I feel very welcome here and will 100% be back😘😘😘😘💋🍒

I love chicken tenders and the vegan buffalo and the tots very well cooked very fresh. I love the way they do it made with full love in it. UODATE JULY 2024: Okay, Judy about back on form. Wings still a bit chewier than they were but much better than last time. The taste and stink of weed only slightly ruins the experience. UPDATE MAY 2024: Really gone downhill, buffalo wings are now chewy and burnt, whereas they used to be melt in your mouth. Service was fine but charmless, and the place was so mucky. PRice is is extortionate for this dip in quality. What a shame. Pure Brixton. Pricey, but it's 2023 - so is everywhere else. Lad behind the bar is charming, the music is banging and the wings are BEAUTIFUL.

Very cool spot enjoyed the fried chicken and bacon sandwich. The environment was really cool. And the service was fresh and fast. Loved it

Me and my husband have been eating at other side chicken since the days in a food van. The burgers are delicious! But recently the food is going down hill I’m afraid to say the tenders are TINY compared what they usually are and aren’t that tasty anymore and it seemed difficult to get staff to give us some buffaloe sauce to go with them in fact we didn’t get any we were told there was ketchup. I also went there a while back with a friend and the music was SO loud the staff couldn’t hear our order we sat outside and still couldn’t hear each other talk. Then our order was lost so we had to stay sat there with ridiculously loud music.

Working here a few years ago was an awful experience. I have come across many a-r-s-e-holes, but this place seems to attract them in their nastiest, rawest form. When working here, I always provided great customer service, as well as being a hard-working member of staff in other areas relating to my job role. Due to my impressive communication skills and easy-going interactions with customers, the manager would often want me serving on the till. One staff member, with a small position within the company, would often speak him out of it. I would then be doing anything other than serving/using the till as the manager did not have the balls to stand up to someone whose position was below his. The staff member in question was intent on sabotaging my employment with OSF. He is a sneaky, rude, nasty, devious, insecure, envious, two-faced being. One of his favourite pastimes was spreading lies and rumours about me to other staff. This was done to cause animosity between myself and them. I went from having neutral interactions with staff members to them keeping their interactions with me to the barest minimum. I was fine with this, as they are all undesirable in every way. I just did not appreciate the bullsh-it. Out of jealousy and an attempt to tarnish my reputation, he purposely wrote a bad review using a different name, stating I had given bad service. There was no truth in his lies. Being concerned about the review, I spoke to him about it, not knowing at the time he was responsible for the malicious review. He once told me I was going to receive a bonus pay for my hard work and efforts. I never asked for any bonus pay. No bonus pay even entered my mind. I was just working to a very high standard, and not expecting anything in return apart from my wages being paid correctly into my bank account each month. The bonus he promised me, did not make any appearance on my payslip or in my bank account. Not even a shy little peep. He was just talking s h i t. I was never paid correctly for my wages – often being underpaid by a considerable amount of money. I chose not to question this. At the time, I needed the poxy job, so thought better not to rock the boat by confronting him or the manager about my missing money. I stupidly thought receiving some of my wages, instead of all, is better than nothing. On numerous occasions, I allowed him to speak to me like trash. I had to play down my strengths and tolerated his nonsense. This horrid being, picks and chooses who he tries to dominates. He detests strong women like myself. The times I asserted my true power and confidence was met with anger and hostility from him. When two, u g l y, f a t, shapeless women joined the company, I instantly took a dislike to them. A few unwanted interactions later, I realised I was right in doing so. I decided to f u c k off, as I could no longer tolerate working with extremely toxic people with severe deep-rooted issues. Kitchen staff handled food in some of the most unhygienic ways I have seen. They constantly used their ungloved hands to shove chewing tobacco in their filthy gobs. They would then use the same hands without washing them to handle food (including salad) which was going out to the public. The food prep sink was used for additional purposes, such as spitting in, washing feet, faces, and other acts you would not expect to be carried out in a food prep sink. Once I became aware of this, I felt disgusted beyond words, knowing they have prepared my food once too many times. I could only eat the chips, where I made sure I was involved in every stage of the preparation. From taking the chips out of the bag, to dumping them in the fryer, to putting them in a food container, and putting my own sauce/s on them. Once this review comes to the attention of OSF management, support will be frantically rallied up to write as many 5-star reviews as possible in a weak attempt to discredit my review.

Make sure you check your order before you leave, I ordered dirty fries and they gave me regular ones. Considering the fact that dirty fries are more expensive and already overpriced, I was pretty annoyed. Also the standard of the food here has fluctuated massively over the last few years, and it's nowhere near as good as it used to be. Pretty hit and miss really.

ridiculous prices for a mid chicken burger. if you’re in brixton and want a chicken burger, you’re so much better off going just a few meters down the road and popping into morleys or rooster express. absolutely shocking prices for a chicken burger, and honestly just a miserable establishment. would not recommend.

Awful food. Chicken burnt, no care taken in its preparation. When they first opened it was great but now it’s like a load of kids just playing around with the food and seeing what happens. The quantities in the ingredients are so random.

Not what it once was. Went there last night with a friend and service was super slow, food was cold, restraint was full with e-bikes/e-scooters and dirtier than the Morley's down the road. Tried to sit down with a friend to catchup, but the music was so loud we couldn't hear each other and stuff seemed pretty apathetic. Really sad - this place used to be so good.

Genuinely, one of the best burgers I've had in a while. Had the garlic butter burger and the quality of the chicken, buns and the sauce, aswell as the touch of parmesan cheese, it was unreal! Quick service too, highly recommend!

I didn't actually get to eat from this establishment, the customer service was so bad we ended up leaving before ordering. The server stood at the counter meddling about with bags, after waiting patiently for a minute I said hi again to get her attention (she had seen us when we entered- there were no other customers). She just indicated we should wait a bit longer, while not looking at us and continuing to meddle with the paper bag. So we left. There's no way I'm going to force somebody to take £13 off me for chips and a burger.

The Buffalo rates as the best chicken burger of my life, perfect combo of hot spice, flavour, crispy chicken but juicy inside. Off the charts!

One of the best chicken tenders and chicken burgers I had in London. Top notch staff as well. Quick service, good price and they stay opened late as well, what else do you need?

Took my son here after a gig at the O2 after he tried to go to a Morley’s - and he had no regrets. The service was fast and friendly, the service swift and efficient - and the chicken wings? Outstanding. Way better than the more usual fast food places. He also some some cheesy tater tot style potatoes - amazing! So - well worth a visit!

I ordered the 3 chicken tenders with chips and was instead given small chicken bites instead that amounted to half the size and told it was just “bad luck of how they delivered the chicken”. They also had no ketchup and instead told I could pay £1.50 for a honey mustard dip. The kitchen had 2 of the staff’s mates hanging out in it while they were cooking - really unhygienic. Regrettable choice.

This food is so GOOD it has the best seasoning. I would highly recommend buying the buffalo burger. It has a Quick service. and good drinks HAPPY DAYS.

Used to go here a lot when they were inside Pop Brixton, but has gone downhill a lot. Everything is cooked/prepped in advanced and then just reheated, so always soggy cold chicken. Quite expensive too for basically the same thing as Mcdonalds

Great chicken spot! Friendly and fast service with a welcoming atmosphere. Chicken was tender and juicy and not at all dry. Also, very tasty although personally the buffalo sauce was a little sweet. Still, soild shop and would definitely recommend.

I ordered the classic chicken burger and 6 buffalo wings. The chicken burger tasted fresh and was OK but was poorly assembled and messy. The wings tasted good drenched in buffalo sauce. Even though the food was edible, it was definitely not worth the ridiculous price of £14. I would've been satisfied with the meal if there was proper seating; there were no tables as we had to sit on these high stools facing the windows on dirty tables. The whole experience was also worsened due to the fact that they have blaring music like a nightclub, and the big lady serving customers had long fingernails, which is unhygienic. To top it all off, the big lady and another staff member had a small argument which made us uncomfortable. 2/10 for this place

One of the best chicken burgers I've ever had (and I'm quite a fan of these). Accustomed to the highly seasoned ones that you can find in Madrid, I loved the relative simplicity of the batter in this one. The potatoes are also delicious. The place is very small and has only a couple of window tables. The prices are slightly high for the area but are more than justified by the quality of the product.

Absolutely disgusting don’t bother. 12 tenders were £18.90, no chips or sauce included. They were the driest pieces of chicken I’ve ever tasted, as in it was like eating cardboard even with the honey dip (£1.50 extra). Complained to a member of staff and asked him to try it because they were that awful. He didn’t try to rectify the situation but instead said I should come back in the middle of the day when it’s better and argued back with me? He seemed more interested in dancing around the shop to blaring music then appeasing customers.

The burger wasn’t that nice. The bun came soggy and extremely oily there was one piece of shrivelled bacon. The wings weren’t coated properly either. Maybe it would’ve been better if I went in and got it as opposed to ordering it

Best of chicken burgers I have ever tasted in a long time. I love my buffalo wings and the chicken tenders very crispy and very tasty higher recommended all you need in one you’ve got beer Good vibes Nice and tidy and clean place very friendly stuff. I will definitely come back again.

Other side fried used to be the best fried chicken I’d ever experienced - and I’ve tried a lot! So I was devastated to find it’s all gone extremely down hill. Ordered my long time favourite the ‘Honey Butter’, which was no longer a chicken burger but just a few chicken tenders in a bun! The chicken was very bland and extremely disappointing. Plus, the honey butter didn’t taste anywhere near as flavourful as it used to and the bacon wasn’t great. Also ordered dirty tots and they were very average. The service and atmosphere really wasn’t great either, it felt a lot more like a run down takeaway place. It’s such a shame to see how downhill the quality has gone, especially compared to the days when they were based in pop Brixton.
