Pizza fries was really good but bit pricey. Surprisingly long wait and queue wasn’t massive but overall good service. Great option for quick fix

I was going to buy some fish there but the owner was being so rude to people i decided to skip it. There are better businesses to spend your money at.

Appalling service. I ordered a whole peri chicken plus 2 half chickens but was told that they had one and a half chicken ready but the extra half would take another half hour, so I ordered the one and half chickens and a peri wrap instead of the other half. In fact the chicken wasn’t ready and needed to be cooked and grilled so didn’t I get my order until 45 minutes later. Really not happy. I could have ordered that extra half chicken after all!

Food cooked in animal fat so not vegetarian or healthy. Otherwise good selection.

I use Elite in the Bail and Tritton Road, I keep trying Ruskington as it more local for me, but everytime I am disappointed. Chips are under cooked and fish was awful tonight. I put it in the bin rather than eat it. If it was Haddock it was really bad!

Ordered for 5 people on 22nd Feb 2025 and collected, food was nice and had no issues that evening. However the next day my wife and I unfortunately fell very ill with food poisoning, we suspect it was the pilau rice as it was the only dish we shared.

Called in because nearby Falafel bar was closed for renovation and I had a memory of enjoying a KFC meal in Birmingam many years ago. What a mistake! My wife found a table while I used the screen ordering system. I went to the table and waited. A group of teenagers sat at the next table. I won't mention description or ethnicity or post will be rejected. The behaviour was loud and annoying. Food was totally unspectacular. I had ordered a zinger for myself and a plain chicken burger for my wife. I took the box marked zinger and got the plain one. My wife got an unwanted zinger. Chicken was dry and overcooked. In fairness, someone who I assume was the Manager told the unruly children at the next table to keep the noise down, which they did for a short while. I personally think they should have been told to leave but I think the establishment must rely on scum like this for a lot of their business. Never again KFC!

Ordered as a take away for delivery, chips arrived stone cold because of the way the food had been packed with the cold drinks. Did not have rustic chips available to order so had the ziggy which were very crispy. Unable to add sauce to the burger so had to buy separate BBQ sauce and add to my burger once it was here, sauce wasn't my favourite. Burger was very wet. The chocolate milkshake was much better than before and is now smooth.

Hadn't bought food from CKH for years. It will be even longer before I go back. Gone right down hill. Just like the Narborough Road. Avoid.

Not happy with the chicken it was has big as babys hand

We ordered online which was quick and easy and I’m not exaggerating when I say it arrived in 10 mins! We both got fish and chips and it was delicious. Very happy and will order again!

I ordered 2 pizzas, one margarita and one doner special at 12:30, they then rang and said they had no donor meat so we asked for chicken tikka instead. The delivery arrived at 3am! 2 and a half hours after ringing the shop and getting no answer even though we was told it was in the hour. We received a pepperoni, margarita and a sloppy onion pizza, all 10” and cold! Not what we ordered at all. The driver then put us on the phone to the owner and I explained the situation and got told to “f off” and when we asked for a refund to “get fcked” Will not be returning here I do not recommend at all.

I went from Derby to Nottingham to get a tasty shawarma today. However, when I got home to eat it, I found that it was just burnt shawarma—maybe something they wanted to get rid of. I had placed my order and waited for it in my car, so maybe the staff thought I wouldn't notice. Not gonna back again

Always have a Cyprus special kebab and a different curry sauce with it never let down it is my absolute favourite takeaway dish 👏👏👏👏to all at taj
