The best restaurants serving Fast food food in East Midlands

This fish and chip shop was great after the renovation we were using at least once a week over the period the quality of the food especially the chips started to deteriorate we stopped going to the shop for a while but today decided that takeaway cod and chips for dinner would be good Well when got home l could not believe the food was so poor the chips were basically inedible and l think probably reheated from before the cod’s were very flat batter poor and frankly tasteless at the price of fish and chips these days you have a right to expect better. How this place has deteriorated over time is amazing they should be ashamed to sell food in this condition.

Bloody lovely, every time without fail. Consistently very goof if not excellent. Never a complaint and always a queue out of the door which should tell you something

How can anyone on here say this is a bad chippy? Honestly, sometimes Trip Advisor reviews really miss the mark. This place serves AMAZING fish 'n' chips. The batter is crispy and the chips are incredible. And I say this as a Northerner, so clearly a fish n chip aficionado. If you visit Oundle, get fish 'n' chips from here, you will NOT be disappointed.

This is an excellent, locally run fish and chip shop. Go here regularly and have always had great food. Highly recommended.

I had a amazing fish with mushy peas best fish I've ever had so tasty cooked perfect I was with family who also had food burger s and they were tasty and cooked perfect . We left no food . Will definitely be going again soon

Fantastic place. Fresh as can be and taste amazing. Fantastic prices for fish and kebabs. Only downside is they don't deliver and no menu online.

I enjoy my food every time I use them but end up with bad stomach the next day also my sisters partner had a raw chicken burger

I've just recently started ordering from this takeaway. Recommend by my daughter I have to say I'm very impressed with the quality of food. Always very generous portions of chips huge large fish and a decent size mini fish. The prices are fair too. I've now ordered from them on 4 separate occasions since the beginning of this year and will definitely be ordering again and again.

My wife loves these donuts and I get a box of 12 from time to time for us to devour. There are deals that offer the second set of 12 for only an additional £1! We tend to freeze them and eat some later and it still retains the taste. Recommended

we often come hear as it is very clean and out in the open air the staff are very good and help full the tea coffee ect are very nice and it has a safe feeling about it and yes we will be back

nice staff would return again . very good prices and good covid restrictions being enforced. all staff worn masks and nice outside area . good pricing too and not too far from hotel I was staying at down road

We ordered 2 pizzas yesterday, this morning when my mum went back to eat the left overs she found a BONE!! She threw them away but then my dad had some and he found another bones aswell! If she had swallowed it, it would've choked her!! This js ridiculous and no way should this ever happen! I'm thoroughly disgusted. The image is the one my dad found. My mum's looked like a chicken leg bone. This is unacceptable.

Truly awful. Cold pizza. Cold sausage rolls. Cold cheese slices. Cold everything. Complained to head office....they were even more useless than thus awful shop. Apparently Greggs serve everything cold unless you purchase when it's fresh out the oven. Don't be fooled by the lights in the display cabinet, it's designed to look like a hot hold but in fact everything in it is cold.

Friendly staff, no problems there at all. But the Kebab was pretty dull. Tasteless doner meat, and chicken tikka cut up into such small pieces even my Chihuahua could have eaten it without chewing. Not awful, but a bit boring to be honest.
