The Butty Man in Hinckley and Bosworth

Great food, speedy service. But also very kind and compassionate people. Thank you for the water. Would most certainly recommend 10/10

Great food just wish the staff was more polite and chatty rather than being silent unless your a regular.

Got a lovely egg and bacon cob for breakfast, and a very nice ham salad for dinner. The staff are always very pleasant. The Butty Man has a fantastic dry sense of humour, which it appears some reviewers take as being rude. It does require the customer to have a bit of nous! This setup provides food for large companies, and the whole building trade in Hinckley, so waiting 10 minutes isn't an issue. I've never had a bad interaction, and I've taken family and friends who enjoyed their food and had a good bit of banter with the staff. Thouraghly recommended!

Arrived and stood at the bar where I wasn’t even spoken too so after waiting in awkward silence I asked for a well done bacon and tomato cob where I was then told in a sh*ty way we’ve got people in front of you meaning orders as no one else was there so would be waiting 10 minutes. Not offered/ asked if wanted a hot drink or anything to give us any reason to wait was just told they had a griddle full. Shocking customer service wouldn’t recommend. The bloke don’t speak at all.

Very rude staff, hair found inside cob. Staff couldn’t care less. There response sorry about that do you want another one in a very rude tone! Will not be returning

How can a butty van be 5* i hear you ask. Well, quite straight forward, in comparison to similar offering The Butty Man offers the best. The little things make the difference, the cleanliness is first class - hence the 5* Food Safety Rating; as he cooks your bacon he cuts off all the fatty bits thus leaving just meat, the banter is great too. Have n't tried it yet, get down their soon. He's there everyday except Sundays

All fresh cooked and delicious food. I recommend the sausage and mushroom cobs. Absolutely great. A lot of tradesmen seem to go there, so it must be good :D

Best cob van in the area by a mile, go for the sandwich over the cob in my opinion, excellent fresh cooked food, never had a bad meal.
