Tilton Fish Bar in Hinckley and Bosworth

We had chips last night and and after having so many we had to throw them away they was raw and greesey and gave us diarrhea all night with very bad belly ache. Would not go there again.

Fish and chips ok. I had bad experience with kebab.

The 1/2 pounder burger with chilli is the best in town 😍 been in every chippy around and this is consistently great.

This is the fish and chip shop that we always use, they are always fast and the food is amazing as well as reasonably priced. I have never had a bad experience, I would highly recommend them.

All round terrible! Greasy chips, Luke warm peas and curry sauce (despite them being microwaved in polystyrene pot in front of us), watery consistency to both. Fish full of grease, clearly had been cooked for a while, nothing fresh or enjoyable about any of it. Had to throw them away - and was still left with a really unpleasant and greasy aftertaste. How does this place get customers?!

Never had a bad chippy from here. Use them all the time. Always fresh always hot. Expected standard quality.

We decided to try this place as we were passing by and wanted to get something to eat. This place is hidden a bit down a side road into garages. The outside is a bit run down as is the inside, it could do with being renovated to make it look better and also cleaner. There was a few people waiting to be served when we arrived. There were about 3 or four people behind the counter however only one person seemed to be serving customers, then one of the others took the payment. It would have been better if more than one person dealt with customers to speed the process up. We order kebab meat and chips and also a large fish which got swapped for two smaller fish as they didn't have a large fish available. We also got a large curry sauce. The kebab meat was ok, wasn't overly flavorful as other chippy's that have been too. The chips were ok, of the two small fishes we had one was dry and the other seemed fresher. The large curry sauce seemed to be small as other places we tried had seemed to bigger. Overall the place is a bit run down and could do with either a clean or better being renovated. The staff seemed ok. The food was ok, not overly the best we have had. Parking can potentially be in an issue at times due to some time the street parking can be full

Very rude, they never even knocked on my door, as I live in a flat, maybe the stairs were to much for them, the food was cold, I rang and let them know, there response "we waited for 10 min, you didn't answer" I tried to explain how could I answer if you don't knock on my door, but he just spoke over me, so rude

Disgusting excuse of a company. Wouldn’t even give them 1 star if I could help it. Delivery driver “couldn’t find me” or follow simple sat nav instructions 20 mins later the manager hung up on me and was extremely rude. Over an hour since I’ve ordered and still no food.

Awful even the dog wouldn’t eat the sausage from there partner felt sick after eating greasy fish that had clearly been sat for a long time do not go here you might as well burn your money

I have ordered from here a few times and the foods been great, but last night it was far from that, all the paper was ripped with the food hanging out, it was undercooked and cold, I tipped the driver even though his attitude was terrible when i thought about it. I do not think I'll be going here again.

Very very rude delivery driver basically wanted to fight me because she couldn't find my home buy a satnav love and cold food not to my standard.

AVOID!!!!! DON'T eat here unless you fancy a frozen fishcake! Food took nearly 2 hrs to arrive and once arrived was inedible. We probed the fishcakes and they read - 0.2 Absolutely shocking! Avoid avoid avoid!!!!!! UNLESS OF COURSE YOU FANCY FOOD POISONING!!!

Placed an order on JustEat for a specific time slot as I was returning home from work. Order was delivered 15 minutes earlier than requested, and the driver called to ask where I was. I advised that I requested a specific time as I was on my way home from work. I rushed home within 5 minutes (still 7 minutes before the time I had selected) for the driver to have left, and refusing to come back. After being told that it is theft to not deliver food that I have paid for, the driver proceeded to threaten to come back and burn down my house. This will be reported to the police. I want a full refund of my order and I will be taking this further.

Just had the nicest kebab and chips and a fish and chips. Fish had a lovely subtle spice to the batter! Guy serving was lovely - will go again. Usually use Burbage but honestly this was better!

Food is not good, seems outdated. The 2 times I ate from there I had diarrhea on the next day.

Poor service and food quality. Much better places to spend your money in.
