Chunky Bites in Bolsover

I ordered 2 pizzas, one margarita and one doner special at 12:30, they then rang and said they had no donor meat so we asked for chicken tikka instead. The delivery arrived at 3am! 2 and a half hours after ringing the shop and getting no answer even though we was told it was in the hour. We received a pepperoni, margarita and a sloppy onion pizza, all 10” and cold! Not what we ordered at all. The driver then put us on the phone to the owner and I explained the situation and got told to “f off” and when we asked for a refund to “get fcked” Will not be returning here I do not recommend at all.

After a long hard day at work and my husband working away I decided that I didn't want to cook so I ordered Chicken Kebab Meat and Chips with a side of Garlic Mushrooms. I was told that it would be 40-50 minutes which was fine as that gave me time to get myself sorted and showered. 1 hour and 30 minutes later it arrived with no apology or anything. The driver was really friendly. The food was stone cold and the chips were hard in places and the chicken was burnt. If this was the last place to eat I would rather go hungry.

Visited here last Thursday. Have been in here quite a few times in the last few months. The owner is always friendly and helpful. Our food is always cooked fresh to order. Everything is clean and tidy. Food is excellent,we will be back. Thanks x

ordered a kebab and pizza for me and my grandson always used them tonight told one price charged another when delivered by just eat driver and didnt order from them. kebab tasteless pizza substandard. will never order from them again!

Food not bad, if you get the right order, BUT,, make sure you know how much your order come to.. as one or two of the delivery drivers like to top up they're wages by adding a little extra to the bill, so beware. I will give them one more chance, if they try this again, then I will report them to the trading standards.

I’ve ordered chicken donner meat. It wasn’t even chicken donner and it was all burned. Uneatable. TERRIBLE. I WON’T COME BACK. Don’t order from there!

The chips were obviously cooked in old oil as there were brown bits on the chips. The batter on the fish was thick and not cooked through and the fish was good on top but the bottom half was like plastic, curled up and inedible. The peas were hard and the juice, runny. Will not be returning!

Fantastic place!! Go for one of the meal deals and you can't go wrong. Big portions and very tasty too. We had pizza and it was lovey, maybe slightly too much cheese on top though. But really really nice.

Kebabs were dry but pizzas are ok. Most likely would not eat again. It is the worst place I have ever got food from

Used Chunky Bites App. Chose to pay by PayPal. First attempt failed. Phoned the shop and told to try again and they would refund first payment. Second attempt success. Asked if they could make sure that the batter is properly cooked. Delivered very promptly. The batter was truly awful. Brown on the outside hardly cooked inside. Also far too thick almost like bread. Will not buy fish & chips here again.

I have never known a takeaway with so much food on offer! There is literally everything you could want. This includes, fish and chips, burgers, pizzas, kebabs, and fried chicken. The quality of the food is really good. We regularly order pizzas from here as they do some lovely toppings. Not only do they sell "chippy chips" as they call them, but fries too. I usually order a burger and again there's an endless choice of burgers here, my fave being the cheese and bacon burger. But the thing with these burgers is that they genuinely do taste "flame grilled" and i have never known burgers quite like this. The staff are great, and theres plenty of them so service is always fast! They take phone orders and deliver too. However the only downside is that it is rather expensive. Good food though.

Terrible!!! Used to be a nice place. Now it’s half the size and cold.. every bag soaked in grease. Horrible and the lot went in the bin!!!! Avoid

Food is really nice but often comes cold and on this occasion we ordered 2x peas and a curry sauce, we received 1 peas and 2 gravy instead. I would have rung up to rectify this but by the time they'd have sorted it our food would have been cold.

Got my order wrong twice. The second time I complained the manager made it my fault because I had ordered through just eat and told me not to use just eat again. Will not be ordering from there again. He was very abrupt and would not give me a refund. Waited over an hour until they got my order right but only replaced the item that was wrong so all the other food was cold.

On two occasions now I have been charged twice for an order made. This was done on thier own app and is clearly an issue that are not going to fix! We order probably once a week and it is normally a large order as it done at my work. We used to order using Justeat, but they always got the order wrong. We complained multiple times and they advised that we use their own app as this would stop any issues with the order. But both occasions it has charged me twice. The first time they did resolve the issue straight away and refunded, this time they are completely refusing to converse with me and are ignoring my requests for a refund!

Bought fish and chips and the fish was like leather. Truly awful and disgusting. The chips were soggy. Never ever going back.

The chicken was cooked well. It wasnt the nicest chicken I have ever had but I definitely needed it. The service was very good as the food came 30 minutes early and everything was cooked properly.

Food came early and I'd had to nip next door for an unseen emergency leaving my phone and missing a call from delivery. Food came whist I was next door. Sat annoyed at myself...food came out again and I tried apologising to the delivery lady that I'd missed her. She was too busy trying to apologise to me. Food was intact and still warm enough to eat. Can't fault Chunky Bites. Thank you.

I ordered 3 pizzas but they only did 2 so then had to wait until they did the 3rd. Then when I got back with the order I discovered they were all thin crust even though I'd ordered 2 deep pan and they were cold.... even though I did question about them still being hot. Totally disappointed and won't be going back!

The lamb was dry and crispy and the yogurt sauce was sour! The fries and garlic mushrooms was fine. Won't rush back to order again.

Brought most of order very fast. Rang up to ask where chips were. Would bring them. Half hr after original food delivered arrived with chips. Fish was ruined through having to microwave because was by then, cold. Chunky bites are usually good. However the last time, chips tasted like day before chips....... Don't know what's changed???

Living in the estate makes this the handiest takeaway option. The portions are good and the staff behind the counter are very friendly!

It was our first time ordering from here so we was not sure what it was going to be like. I can safely say we were all pleasantly surprised, really nice food and it arrived early so a big thumbs up!

food was cold, we had to reheat. grease all inside the carrier bag which dripped all over our carpet and soaked all the food containers. possible the worst takeaway we’ve had. binned my food as it was off putting. I never really leave reviews but this was pretty bad. don’t order the cake it was the smallest slice of cake I’ve ever seen. a double decker chocolate bar was bigger. will not order from these again.

The food I've had from here in the past has been really nice but this time I'm affraid it was quite disappointing. When my food arrived I was charge more than what Just Eat had informed me I had to pay. Although the food was early I had to reheat some of it. For the order of large cod I received two pieces of fish and no chips. The menu says fish and chips and the price would certainly lead one to believe chips would be included. I will eat from here again as I'm hopeful tonight's order was a one off but I'm afraid if it comes again like it did tonight it will be the last time for me.

lEe love the food from here but this last order was a slight let down, the chips weren’t very nice or very hot, the fish cake was that cold I had to warm it up and my beans came half empty. The pizza however, was amazing as usual and I will still continue to order as the food is brilliant normally

Last time I ordered the food was fresh and delicious. This time it was 35 mins late. Burger, fries and pizza 35 mins old does not taste good. They had forgot the drinks. I'll go get them I was told. 30 mins later and they still haven't returned with drinks. Maybe they have all the other late deliveries to do before correcting mine....

Menu states fish and chips but fails to tell you that you only get the fish, the fish I had was small and very dry and the peas were like bullets. My son had a chicken burger which he said was like rubber and the fries were like cardboard! A very very disappointing meal! Will never order from here again!

Horrible takeaway was over an hour for delivery and ordered a chicken diner wrap that was just full of onion might aswell been an onion wrap cos there must have been 3 whole onions on it, plus all the food was stone cold very disappointed won't be ordering again !!!

Came really fast, but unfortunately the fries were abit over cooked and the BBQ pizza did taste nice but wasn't fully cooked, the pastry was very chewy which is a shame as normally good pizzas
