Bingham Fish & Chips in Rushcliffe

Stopped in Cascade Locks to explore and went to Brigham Fish Market. I ordered the grilled halibut. It was two big pieces. This was the best halibut I ever had and they served it with a shrimp ceviche. The ceviche had amazing flavor but it is a bit spicy. Service was great and very friendly and efficient. We will stop here to eat every time we pass through.

They’re amazing.! I love Cod fish and chips, my husband loves clam strips, my sons love chicken fingers, and my daughter loves smoked salmon quesadillas. We’re all happy to be there. Our server lady was super sweet and generous. Halloween decorations are fantastic! Kids had a great time. Absolutely loved this place.

Some amazing fish and chips, and poboys. We stopped to check out the bridge and a guy was sitting there eating some fish and chips. He pointed us this way and we were definitely not disappointed. Definitely recommend stopping here if in town. They had many different fish options available which was great. If we were staying in this town we would have had to visit multiple times to try all the different variations.

Several different options for different kinds of fish & chips, chowders are out of this world, and if you can catch them when they have ceviche, you won’t be disappointed! Plus you can buy your fresh fish to take home and prepare yourself at reasonable prices. And above all else, customer service is top notch! This is a local family owned business and they are a great example of community and care for others. They regularly organize and participate in fundraising events around the community and consistently show their love and dedication for the community they live in.

The owners and staff always go above and beyond to make us feel welcomed in and provide the fresh quality food. I’ve been going since they opened-my personal fav is the salmon chowder and the salmon dip with wheat thins, and my son always love the smoked salmon for a snack on our three hour ride home 💜 looking forward to heading back to try some of the newer items on their menu. Also, such a beautiful location!! Also would recommend the Po Boy and the Sturgeon Fish & Chips 😋

We live in the Gorge, and not only eat here often, we also buy fish products for home, smoked salmon for gifts, and bring our guests. The food is delicious, even Gluten Free fish and chips. The owners are wonderful and caring, giving to the little community often. While sometimes quite busy, we are always served with a smile.

We made an impromptu stop for lunch here after a morning exploring the Historic Columbia Scenic Highway. A perfect bookend to that drive with excellent fish dishes! We had a shrimp Po’boy and a Cod fish and chips. Both were crispy and delicious, with a good flavour and the fish still succulent. Even the fries were excellent with a very good crust. Highly recommend!

I would not be able to say enough good things or reasons you should stop at this establishment. If you love seafood or even like seafood it is a must stop. The smoked salmon is delicious and my son loved the fried fish. They had fresh lemonade with berries that was very flavorful and refreshing. The staff knows hospitality and I felt well taken care of. Indoor and outdoor seating available. They even gave me ice for my to go smoked fish for my cooler! I try to make this spotna stop on my trip out West every year now. Highly recommend!

Ordered salmon burger, late serve(people behind me but got same order before me), I complained but the owner’s response surprised me. She said we are doing the best we can(this is ok), but next sentence really shocked me, she said “you don’t need to eat if you are not happy “. I travelled over 100 countries, this is something I have never experienced.

Wonderful fresh fish hand battered and fried per order. Tried the halibut and it was delicious, lightly battered so it didn't detract from the fish.

Sitting alongside the Columbia River, this is a great place to grab a bite to eat. Great outdoor dining which is both kid and dog friendly. The grilled halibut and ceviche were both very fresh. I didn't try the Oysters, not my thing, but my daughter found them very fresh as well.

We bought 2 kinds of smoked salmon and it was outstanding. Will definitely drive back there 45 miles to eat lunch and buy more smoked salmon.

I thought the food was ok. I had the clam strips and a cup of clam chowder. The clam choker was thin and not very much clams, but it was palatable, and the strips were crunchy. Scale of 1-10, with 10 being perfect, it was about a 7.

Super fresh, delicious fish! We asked the server for a recommendation and decided to get the salmon burger special, salmon chowder and halibut fish and chips, all of them were excellent! I would not have picked some of the items on my own so I am glad I asked! Super friendly service, and the best lunch stop ever!

I JUST left there. We ordered the clam chowder, ceviche, and an oyster poboy. Decent clam chowder.. if order it again. The poboy was good ( but half of it is the bun-so much bread) and the fries were nummy.... The ceviche was ALL cucumber, tomato and onions with ONE lonely tiny shrimp.... you're a fish market... why is there absolutely NO FISH (in your ceviche)??!! I have 3 stars for the food because 2 outta the 3 were decent. I would have called to complain but they are closed.

Very spendy my halibut was so tough I couldn’t cut or pry it apart to eat it. Husband said cod was just a pre made frozen patty. Tartar was cheap out of a bottle. You pay a lot for it. They automatically put 20% tip on your order. We were eating and the young lady picking up dishes from other table asked us to open a door for her while we were in the middle of eating our food. Thought that was weird when there was a table right there could’ve sat her stuff down and opened door…. And at a 20% tip I want to enjoy my meal. We will not go back. Captains galley in Gresham 100% better.

Delicious seafood. Chowder on Ciabatta was amazing. Fish and chips has nice thick pieces of fish. The lemonade was made fresh and the service was so nice. Very dog friendly as our pup and us took in the sights outside as we ate and they brought out a new water bowl for her!

My family and I passed this lovely place during our 5-week road trip through the north west. Our kids got the fish and chips, and my wife the smoked salmon ciabatta. I got their new salmon burger which was very tasty! See photo. Also the fries are nice and crunchy. Definitely recommend dropping by here if you get the chance.

I can think of not a thing less than excellent about this place. I dislike clams but love chowder and always regret not getting the large size of salmon chowder smothered ciabatta... Staff is attentive and friendly as well! Who doesn't love a local spot like this.

My wife and I drive in from Troutdale regularly. The food is always good. The Sturgeon is outstanding when in season coleslaw unbelievable good and refreshing. Can be very busy, well worth the wait.. Only issue we ever had was we called in an order knowing it was going to be busy. With a 35 min drive this would be perfect. Unfortunately there is spotty cell service between Troutdale and Cascade Locks , so we never received the message informing us they ran out Halibut . When we arrived we substituted the Halibut and for our trouble they gave a very large portion of there smoked salmon. Outstanding smoked salmon, great customer service and will be a customer for the foreseeable future.

Weekends are to busy. Never enough people on duty. Tables inside and out not kept clean and wiped on last 2 visits. Quality products but not much in the way of fresh fish beyond salmon and steelhead. They do have beer battered cod which is pretty good. Also there is a coated ( maybe tempura but coating falls apart and was greasy) Halibit that didnt impress me for a couple reasons like greasy and very expensive to find out.

First time here. My husband was craving Fish and Chips and wanted to get out of the house since it was such a beautiful day. We decided to drive out to Cascade Locks from Gresham. I Googled restaurants in Cascade Locks, and Brigham Fish Market was first on the list. Awesome choice!!! Best onion rings we have had in ages. Super crisp, solid rings fried to a perfect golden brown. The fries were perfectly seasoned and crisp. The cole slaw was super refreshing.....and the Halibut.....absolute perfection!!! Lightly fried and so moist! Placed our order TO GO, and it was ready in less than 10 minutes . Staff was super friendly and inviting. We will definitely be back to try the other awesome items on their menu.

Super-friendly, thoughtful, fast service. Delicious fish and chips (and I should know; I’m British.) Nice, comfortable outdoor seating. Beers and cider are served in frozen glasses. Perfect on a hot summer day. Highly recommended.

I ordered the fish and chips and although the fries were cooked fairly well, the bland batter on the fish was too heavy, thick and bready and easily fell off the fish when gently pinched. Sounds like I should have ordered the Halibut fish and chips. That is the one made in house. Although I feel like I should give stars based on my experience, I'm revising my review

Brigham market is excellent food and service. The smoked salmon to eat there or to go the smoked meats melts in your mouth. Family owned and operated. Prices are reasonable considering the quality.

The oysters were just a little under fried and the fries just a little over fried, but still both very good. Love the smoked salmon here!

Great fish lunch. We had the special, grilled Halibut and the Halibut fish and chips. The fish had a very light breading so you could actually taste the fish. They do nice work here.

Superb, simple as that. Fish and chips were great, as were the fried oysters. Even the cole slaw, so often a totally "meh" afterthought at many places, was fresh, crunchy and very good. Very cheerful, friendly and efficient service and dog-friendly outside tables too. Many other additional offerings including fresh fish, various smoked fish and other delicacies. Highly recommended!!

We got an order to go. Food was good but the biggest disappointment was I specifically asked for lots of ranch for fries, onion rings and such and when we got back to our room.... Nada. The girl, who was wonderful by the way, that took our order, said "we'll make are you have all the sauces". I'm injured currently so going back to get stuff wasn't going to happen

The fish and chips were very poor. Fish was burnt and extremely chewy. Chips were cold and tasteless. We had one cod and a small chips -£10.20 which isn't cheap. We will definitely not be going back and I wouldn't recommend.

This place has the best fish and chips I have tasted till date. And the people, they are very friendly and cheerful. Top notch service, freshest food, lovely location, can’t praise enough. The spicy marination of the halibut, crispy yet thick fresh fries (although I would have preferred less oily), was brilliantly complemented by their mayonnaise.The halibut was so good that we ordered some fresh fish (salmon and halibut)to be taken home. They are very honest people (the salmon was very fresh and good quality, still they informed me beforehand that it had been frozen earlier). Since we had a long drive ahead, they also arranged for some ice so that the fishes stay fresh. There was some confusion about the availability of fish tacos, but since that was not clear while ordering, they treated us with an alternative of our choice (salmon po sandwich) and that too without charging anything extra (even though we insisted). It was great as well and totally loved the flavors. This family run restaurant is a gem.

BABY! Let me tell you something: The Smoked Salmon Quesadillas were like nothing I've ever tasted! The Smoked Salmon Po Boy left us in sheer awe! The Halibut and Chips were the best I've had anywhere!! Why did I wait until I was leaving to discover this gem of a place in Cascade Locks??

Brigham Fish Market is awesome. While I love the Cajun halibut, spicy salmon dip, smothered ciabatta, and shrimp ceviche from the regular menu, they REALLY shine when they have a special. My in-laws make pilgrimages here from the Willamette Valley just for the gluten-free fish and chips. My favorite is when I get to eat outside on a nice day, but the atmosphere is good inside too and you get to chat with the friendly owners and staff.

Service was a 10/10. I got the Alaskan cod poboy it was so good, and my fiancé got the smoked salmon poboy he really enjoyed his! This was a perfect stop after hiking! Anyone who is visiting or traveling should stop here!

Woman who helped us was fantastic. She gave us some crayons and coloring pages for the kids without us even asking for them. Service and food was excellent.

Brigham Fish Market in Cascade Locks, Oregon is owned by sisters Terrie Brigham and Kim Brigham-Campbell, members of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation. They have served wild, native-caught fish to the public since 2014. They opened Brigham Fish Market in Cascade Locks, Oregon to share their generations-old family fishing traditions. In addition to selling fresh and smoked fish, Brigham Fish Market has a small menu. For my first visit, I tried their Clam Chowder, Salmon Chowder and Coleslaw, all of which were excellent! I also got some Smoked Salmon to go. It was excellent too! On my second visit, I tried their Fish & Chips, which were also excellent They have indoor and outdoor seating. Highly Recommended!!!

I’m pretty sure the cod fish and chips is frozen and not fresh and it is pre-frozen so it’s not even like they hand battered it there. Definitely not what I would expect from a fish store. We also got the clam chowder in the clam chowder was OK but it was loaded with potatoes.

The Market is delicious. Never cared for Cole Slaw and there Slaw is fabulous.

First off, the actual halibut is great! It's fresh, meaty and just what u want halibut to he. Fries and fish comes out nice and hot. Fries tood too. The tarter sauce wasn't that good. It was way top sweet, not real fresh, just not that good for such good quality fish. The crist was not my favorite kind of breading but wasn't bad if tarter was decent. I like the light and crisp coating of crispy batter. This was more sandy. The actual fish was very good, fresh, the service was excellent, a real treat, very nice girls working there, fries great, coleslaw food. Just wish tarter wasn't so sweet, a better recipe for it.

Possibly the worse fish and chips we’ve ever had the chips were tasteless and some were burnt the mini fish was tasteless and bland and the batter was soggy the mushy peas were watered down the only plus side the curry sauce was ok, we live close by and to be honest we won’t be using this chip shop gain from now on we will be using the competition up the road

We had the Smoked Salmon Quesadilla and the fish and chips, both were excellent. My one criticism is the outdoor seating. It's a little too shabby. Indoors is much better by comparison.

Friendliest staff i’ve ever met! My partner and I were so so happy with our food, the clam chowder was truly to die for. We also had to get some smoked fish to snack on for later, and it was life changing. Could not recommend this place enough!

I Went with a friend yesterday to Brigham's. My friend ordered a salmon slider and a cup of chowder, he said it was "delicious." I love their onion rings! I will definitely go there again when I'm in the area.

I got the Alaskan fish and chips. The fish was chewy around the edges, kind of hard. I needed a knife to cut it to eat. I would not go back. Staff and service was excellent though.

A bit pricey but worth every single penny, the fish is so incredibly fresh they catch everything on the river and its native owned so I will definitely always support them, I wouldnt even know how to describe how immaculate everything they sell truly is. The brownie they have is one of the best brownies ive ever had as well, theres a burger place down the street called east wind, I really like to get the brownies from here and dip them in the milkshakes at east wind
