The best restaurants serving Fast food food in Derby East Midlands

Just as good as my last teview best Fish & Chips in Chaddesden by a mile. I only have chippy tea now and again due to my stomach. So it has to be perfect. It was.

Foods good, just don't expect much compared to other shops.

Had an Uber Eats delivery from here. Not far for the delivery but still it arrived super fast and everything was piping hot and fresh. Haddock was massive and regular chips plentiful (regular size is enough for two folk). Quality of the food was great, just wish they did scratchings as an extra. Will definitely order again

This is the 3rd visit to this concession in Derbion. Twice now I've had Fish Chips and Mushy peas. Each time has been brilliant. Superbly cooked chips, crisp batter on the fish, but I get too full to finnish the meal. So this time I opted for chips and mushy peas. I approached with trepidation, expecting this visit to be the one where it didn't meet previous trips. I was so wrong. The food was piping hot, tasty exactly the same. Crispy chips, fluffy on the inside and the same, velvety hot mushy peas. Absolutely brilliant. Yes I will be visiting again.

Burger was great and tasty. Chips were terrible. They tasted and looked like they'd been reheated from leftovers from the lunchtime batch. So even though the burger was good the chips would definitely put me off ordering again.

£3 for a poxy medium portion of chips. Do yourself a favour and always order large but ultimately if they are low on chips you’ll be short changed

Telephone customer service needs improving. Note for management: Praise Jake, and please have a 1 to 1 with Nisha/Neesha. I have shipped here quite a few times and enjoyed my experience in store, with most staff generally being enthusiastic. However, yesterday, my partner and I had a tire puncture and called up to check when the tyre bay would be open til and if we could have it replaced on that day. I had tried calling the tyre bay but had no luck with an answer so I chose to call the main store. Nisha/ Neesha picked up the phone to me, I advised of the situation and what we wanted and she replied with a blunt "wait a second" and put me on hold for 4 mins, then the call cut out. I called again and explained I had called already and recieved the same "hold on" reply and stayed on hold for 4/6 mins before the call dropped. When I called the third time I advised her that she wasn't telling me what she is doing and I don't want to be put on hold again if possible. She then proceeded to ask me a question in the rudest and dismissive tone. It was at this point that I stated I work in customer service and that her tone was not suitable nor appreciated, all I did was call up to get some answers, I didn't pressure her or speak rudely so I don't feel her response was warranted. After sometime she seemed to calm down but clung to the same blunt replies. Attitude like this will drive away sales, and if it wasn't for Jake, we definitely would have gone elsewhere. Please check in with her, support and train her properly. As I do not know of it was busy I store I don't know whether she was under a lot of pressure but it seems she needs help managing this. Eventually, she informed me that I would receive a call back. Jake from tyres was helpful and polite and answered my questions clearly. It took about 5/10 mins for call back which was good. Just a note that: your staff should be polite to all customers and have an understanfing they they don't know the needs of the individual they are speaking with so clear communication is key ( as an autistic individual it would be appreciated to have more staff who behave like Jake) .

Had the cheese and onion fry it well that's what it said on the menu but it was tasteless supposed to be mushy peas more like slushy peas and the chips weren't up to much, second time I've been in Steve's diner and the last.

I had a amazing fish with mushy peas best fish I've ever had so tasty cooked perfect I was with family who also had food burger s and they were tasty and cooked perfect . We left no food . Will definitely be going again soon

Pizza was delicious and my breakfast croissant was lovely and buttery. Would be even better if they provided butter and jam sachets. Coffee was tasty and hot.

Wow where do I start.... The place was a mess.... Food cold and was very messily put together. To top it of took my granddaughter into toilet and walked straight back out.... Was disgusting and the smell of weed was overwhelming.... Not good 🤨 was going to be eat in but changed to takeaway
