Ordered online chips spam fritters. Took my order. Paid. Sent me chips more chips & potato fritters. I phoned up . They said tried to phone me to say no spam fritters. Had no call. So got all potato items for my tea. Rubbish . Never order again😡😡

Excellent mixed meat wraps tonight. Delivered earlier than expected, hot and really tasty. Free can of coke as well and the delivery bloke was great, felt like I was chatting to a mate

We went in for some quick food waited 45 mins, ordered the curry and it tasted like shop bought curry and was half full, the nan breads were so thick and undercooked but the chips were nice. Asked them for a refund and they said they will bring me another curry.. never again

I saw there was a new fish and chip shop In Derby and went to go try it out. The food was so delicious I wished I knew about this place earlier. The Staff were friendly and the fish was MASSIVE. I highly recommend this place to anyone that loves fish and chips I read the negative reviews seeing if I could find any thing bad about this place but I just couldn’t my brother ordered the lamb curry and said it was very good. I’ve found my new favourite chippy.

We ordered from here for a change as we were wanting a chippy and our local chip shop closes on a Sunday. I ordered online at half 4, food didn't show until just before 7! I phoned to ask what was going on, was told the driver left ten minutes prior to my call, another hour and a half went by, they clearly had missed the order and weren't honest about it. When food arrived it was gross, battered sausage was mushy, kebab meat tasted stale- no one finished their meal, won't be bothering again.

I can’t be bothered to go out again, but just look at this kebab. The sheer amount of grease and congealed orange stuff. It’s seeped through to my car seat too. What on earth has happened here? I can’t even eat this rubbish.

I asked for a donor kebab on the phone a large donor kebab they sent me kebab in a tray who've lettuce the chips were horrible and greasy I said baton burger greased up

Nice food everything is fantastic especially staff is very polite and friendly with customers and they always give fresh food i recommended to all visit once you will definitely visit again 👍

Our meals was nice, however upon looking at the menu in the bag after delivery I can see its all different prices compared to the apps (apart from uber eats ) , cheaper via menu, so after going online straight to their website again showing different prices compared to the menu, I understand apps could charge more but not their own website ? Maybe have a look at this and update your website to the same price as menu ? However if the website isn't working or been taken down maybe best not to advertise this as a way of ordering.

I've only used it once and never again. Fish cakes like ice hockey pucks and how chips can be raw/burnt and dry/greasy is beyond me. Pretty sure I was overcharged too as £11 seems steep for a bag of chips and 2 standard fish cakes. I question the integrity of some reviews on here 🤔

Terrible service…. 2 staff too busy talking to each other Food very poor showed no interest in presentation or silly portion size …… avoid as this place isn’t cheap either !

Ordered delivery.....a fish butty.....£6.10...expecting a small peice of battered fish.. Got a fish cake in a cob....now a fish cake is £2.53 and a cob 81p so charge £2.73 to have a fish cake put in a cob?

We stopped here after a quick visit to Derby after seeing the good reviews. Fish and chips smelt of old oil and didn't seem fresh. Felt quite sick not long after eating, had stomach cramps next day. Curry sauce was watery. There were only 3 people waiting and took 30 mins to get our food. Not worth the wait at all.

Oil is very old, and needs changing. The food was not good. Left feeling ill afterwards with stomach cramps. Service was very slow. Atmosphere drab. Wouldn't recommend.

Chips n curry OK mushy peas like bullets, staff was friendly.

Second time had really bad food from here lamb curry didn't taste like any curry I've ever had more like tasteless stew and the pies we had for lunch were microwaved as we're the peas won't be going again

Had a tuna pizza friday work treat. Ordered on phone, was ready on time and tasty Will return for sure

New owners been here for a few months now and all staff are really friendly. Popped in for some food late afternoon and enjoyed some fishcakes, potato fritters, saveloys and cod all well cooked. All lovely. Curries are lovely too and will be a forthcoming treat for us soon. It's well worth a visit.

Definitely a must try, the freshly fried fish and chips did not disappoint. Also ordered the kebab and have to say a fish bar specialising in kebabs is a rare commodity these days. New management’s approach has taken this place above and beyond other takeaways.

Go to Fish bar in derby, the food is 10/10 and the donner and chicken is Halal. Clean place and friendly staff.

had really high expectations but was left very disappointed. items were missed off our order, we were over charged for items and our curry was watery and bland and really disappointing.

NEW ownership! been coming here for a decade now, at the beginning of the year the owner was running the place into the ground, very sad watching it happen in real time food got worse by the day, unprofessional money hungry idiots bought the shop of the original guy or something, thought it was easy running a shop, place was closed for a few months after but its back! and I must say looking a lot better, food quality is up there and the prices compared to a lot of place is cheaper, god bless you lads, saved the local chippy!!

We have always enjoyed ordering from Chester Green Fish Bar, however, the quality of the food has started to go downhill. We have been ordered Pizza recently and on both occasions the dough has been raw and uncooked. It has put us off from ordering from here again.

Thought I would give this place a go ordered a chip cob and the cob was probably the best bit the chips were brown like they had been over cooked or just sat there a while and had bizarre taste to them needless to say it all went in the bin won’t be using them again. The man that served me was pleasant but a lady came out of the back. If looks could kill 😂

Don’t bother, you’ll have awful stomach cramps and spend the day on the toilet! Previously had two good experiences here with their kebabs, however after last nights chicken one I’ll never order there again. The meat tasted unusual towards the end but I thought it was just my taste. Until afterwards had the worst stomach cramps and very unwell all morning! Not impressed at all.

Fishcakes was burnt and the rest was freezing cold as we had to wait 2 hours for it.never again!!

pizza I ordered was burnt all the way threw they sent me another. and there was a hair in it 🤮🤢😡 terrible spent £19 never go again

Popped in when visiting the area. The owners were extremely friendly and explained they took on the business only weeks ago. They were extremely tentative to the food and gave us the tastiest meal deals we’ve probably ever had! X2 meal deals with the best chips ever and the tastiest battered sausage plus stunning gravy & curry sauce. All for just under a tenner! We will most definitely be returning.

Cold, dry chips. Over an hour wait it's only around the corner happening all the time now so won't go there again

I ordered a kebab that was £9.50, it was not even half filled. My wife’s kebab was £1.50 less and was full to the brim.

First time ordering, driver must of got lost somewhere don’t understand how that happens with postcode and street name. Rang us at the latest point of delivery then took another 15 mins to get to us, food was only just warm. I probably won’t bother next time. Thanks

This chip shop has really come into its own. The fish and chips are beautiful and, in my opinion, they make THE best kebabs in Derby. 10 out of 10 or 5 stars 🌟

Food was extremely hot blatantly been put in the microwave all the packaging was melted could not eat most of it did not taste nice one bit. Order from here a lot and lately its been getting worse.

Very salty definitely over salted I wish I selected no salt now as it spoilt the whole meal the battered sausage was coated in salt and the chips,the mushy peas were very bland and runny unlike other fish and chip shops where you can stand a chip in them (best way) didn't taste any vinegar at all,homemade fishcake was nice after brushing off salt that had held the oils,husband had the ham and Pineapple pizza and thought it was very chewy and the crusts like cardboard and the ham didn't taste right so he only ate 2 slices

Order from here frequently as the food is great, but get the odd wrong order or missing items. The meat in the kebabs is top notch though!

Rude staff. Disgusting attitudes. Customer service nowhere to be seen when delivery drivers are rude to me. Been a regular and now I’m not allowed to order because apparently I’m in the wrong for the driver not being bothered to bring the food to my flat door. Lazy. Unprofessional. Most of our order was ok. Chips and Sfc was lovely. The chicken meat on pitta was extremely salty and not enjoyable at all.

Fish and saveloys were warm on delivery, Chips were hot but no salt and vinegar added No updates given once food late and no one answered phones when called restaurant to check how long delivery would be. Driver was rude and practically ran away after thrusting the food at me. Won’t be ordering again anytime soon.

Said it would be here between 8.05pm and 8.25pm. I contacted via website when it hadn't arrived by 8.30pm. It says you will get a contact within 5 minutes on the website. I didn't get any reply, so I had to ring the restaurant. No answer but I then got a phone call a couple of minutes later saying it would be on it's way soon and it finally arrived 9pm, almost 2 hrs after ordering

It was early because what I payed for wasn’t there so we won’t order again from Chester green had to go out and get chips because they never got delivered and we payed for them

There was no cheese on the chips but food was nice

I went tonight at about 8pm and it was gorgeous

Had a mixed kebab and chips and was not disappointed, I asked for loads of cheese on the kebab and I got what I asked for, brilliant service would recommend
