Absolutely brilliant fresh cooked food while you wait, friendly service 💯 recommend

Had a portion of chips.. tried a couple.. inedible.!! Taste horrid.!! Must use cheapest oil/fat & potatoes. Yuk.!!

Ordered my food from this place and got it back home and the lid on the peas wasn’t on properly and the peas went everywhere. If you order from this place any sauce, check the lid is on properly

I recommend chips and beans with lots of salt and vinegar if your pregnant nice food lovely staff

Lovely chips. I decided to have s fish cake because I had not eaten one since I was a child. It did not disappoint

Got fish and chip dinner this evening. It was beautiful. The food was hot and fresh. Stunning fish and a huge amount of chips in a large. One large chips was enough for 4 adults and 2 children.

First time visiting this Chip Shop, we visited last Friday. 3 of us bought in person and 1 of us ordered in advance through the app. Through the app, it was a 7-7.30 timeslot, the food was ready a few minutes before 7. They ordered a kebab with chips which was nice. The rest of us just ordered chips, they were nice but they weren't hot hot, we were the only customers and were surprised that they were between lukewarm and hot, if we hadn't of tucked in straight away then by the end of the tray it would be cold. It felt like they were just under a heater and not fresh as there was no way they would have burnt our mouth like other chip shop meals. However the chips were nice, and the two ladies that served us was nice. There was a man who I imagine is the owner? Who was staring at everything they did which was a little bit uncomfortable as the ladies were so nice and making conversation with us as they poured our meals out. Would definitely visit again and even though the chips weren't burning hot it was still an enjoyable meal.

I’ve got a food from this place about 4 time now, and every time it was amazing, fish is always fried to order, and chips is always fresh and crispy,

Only criticism is that the price list on the screens is incorrect, this is misleading when you go in to order and needs updating ASAP. We come on a weekly basis and I don't like the misunderstanding.

Average food, slow service, a lot more expensive compared to Sussex Circus Chippy, won’t bother visiting again

Quality food and good value always. The large cod is like a whale and the large kebab is like a shoebox full of meat and its all full of flavour and fresh can't fault it at all

Have used since new management came in and the Fish has been excellent especially when cooked to order 👍

Was told I was the first one to have the chapatti wrap with chicken. Was real good. The lads make the bread fresh and the lady who served me was so nice. Would deffo go back for the chicken and also a banging conversation whilst waiting for the food.

Used this takeaway for the first time since it was under new management. The haddock and chips were brilliant, large portions, fresh and well cooked. The shop was clean and the owner really nice. Also the prices were affordable which is more than I can say for most. The only thing I would say is it would be great if you stayed open until 15.00hrs

Out of 4 orders we’ve placed with them they’ve forgot the chips twice. It’s a CHIP SHOP but don’t seem to able to serve chips. If you want fish and chips without the chips, this is the place to go.

without doubt the worst food I've ever had the misfortune to receive, inedible, took the money on my card and then informed us that there is no salad (didn't think we'd be busy so didn't bother) no sauces nan bread microwave d and like a brick, the kebab looked and tasted awful. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Not great. Customer service could be much better. Chips aren't brilliant. Prefer Ocean Fresh for Fish and Chips.

Possibly the nicer of the fish n chip shops in Mickleover. Used several times since finding it. Shame its tucked away in the estate... Prefer over its rivals...despite it being furthest away...
