The best restaurants serving Fast food food in England

The McDonalds in Hitchin is opposite the B&M Store and a very short walk from the railway station. I visited at a lunch time and it was quite busy with students from the local college and people coming to get some lunch. Like virtually all McDonalds nowadays they have the touch screens you can use to place your order for food. You have to pay by card for these. I did not have long to wait for my order to be ready and I took a seat and ate my food which was really tasty. They have free wifi and it is a good signal so you can check messages, stream music or watch something on your phone. The restaurant was clean and as people were leaving the tables were quickly being cleared ready for the next customers.

By far the worst McDonalds I’ve ever ever been in. Filthy. Slow. Poorly managed. Badly staffed. Food barely warm. Cluttered or unclean tables. Staff shirking responsibilities. Food dropped on the floor not cleared quickly. Absolutely no management. And the cacophony of beeps from the kitchen equipment made having a conversation almost impossible. The area manager either needs to put a rocket up the team or find another job. And as for the size of the burgers don’t get me started. I will never go there again. I suggest everyone else swerves it.

Ordered 2 happy meals and a Diet Coke. Waited 15 minutes whilst delivery drivers were being given priority. When we finally got the order and returned to our car we discovered my grandson had been given fish fingers rather than chicken nuggets. Returned to the restaurant and there were other customers in the same position. The server took the various bags and within seconds handed me the chicken nuggets. It wasn’t till we were in the car my grandson commented that his nuggets were cold. It’s clear the server must have just switched items from the returned bags rather than cook fresh. Unsure whether these second hand nuggets had been touched by other customers they went straight in the bin. Won’t return as it was pure chaos

Last time I used this shop. It was awful and I sent a complaint to KFC. They said it's not our normal standard and please give us another chance. Well I just did. My burger was OK. The fries and piece of chicken were cold and my sprite zero is going down the sink because all they have given me is fizzy water and Ice. Like a lot of people I don't have time at lunch time to return and complain, and shouldn't need to. All KFC do is fast food so it shouldn't be to hard to get right after all these years. I'm done with this shop.

Atendió hoy y fue recibido en la puerta por una señora que estaba limpiando (12 pm ish) que era agradable. Nos atendió un chico chino (lo siento no ver su nombre) que era educado como nos atendió. El lugar estaba muy limpio y el amigo nos compró parte de nuestro pedido que no estaba listo cuando recogimos el pedido principal. La comida estaba caliente y fresca. Prefiero viajar aquí que Redhill. gracias

The customer service was absolutely awful!! The two that popped out the most to us were Jean and Joseph. They didn’t pay any respect to us and acted like they had no clue what we were asking!! We are absolutely appalled with this behaviour !!

Went to KFC in Grantham a week previously and the food was amazing, just like KFC should be. Stupidly I decided to give The Colonel some more of my cash and living around the corner from this place I thought I’d give it a go. At around 820pm I joined the drive through queue and a few minutes later I was at the order speaker. Sat there for 10 minutes without anyone talking to me but I figured they were busy and I was looking forward to my delicious freshly cooked chicken so no problem. When I ordered my food I was disappointed to hear that they were out of gravy but again the vision of my beautiful succulent chicken made me accept this without question. Picked up my food from the next window and parked up in the car park to tuck in (please don’t judge) as soon as I opened the bag I could smell the dirty oil that the food was cooked in. Picked the first piece out the bucket and it looked dark brown. The skin was greasy and the meat was dry and tasteless. I ate one piece and then tried a hot wing that was the same, overcooked in dirty smelly oil that obviously hadn’t been changed in god knows how long. I threw most of my food away but the bit that I did eat was by far the worst takeaway food that I’ve ever had the displeasure to buy. The previous week’s experience at Grantham is now totally spoiled. I will never have KFC again and would highly recommend anyone who is thinking of visiting this place to think again about spending your money.

Shocking food! 15 minute wait even though one other table. Food was cold and mozzarella sticks and chicken selects were burnt. Can’t wait for the Newport one to reopen and have some good fast food with good service

The food is okay. It comes hot. The restaurant can very untidy and the tables can take a long time to be cleaned. The toilets are of average hygiene. The food is ready very fast.

Popped in prior to visiting Warwick Castle which is close by. Restaurabtvwasnt particularly busy but they still took overv20 minutes and then i went to the counter and they acted like i wasn't there. This is after using the computer to order to save them from serving me. Finally got the attention of someone and they looked into where my order was. It was nowhere, they hadn't bothered to make it so we would have been there all day if i hadnt gone up to check. Came a few mibs later and said there was a system down issue (which only affected my order apparently) no apology though and seceral itens missing from order including 50% empty fries in each serving and the fruit bags. Ordered desserts from the computer and it wouldn't take payment so had to go to till to pay. Not many staff around, all in the back avoiding customers. Place is quite dirty, I cleaned the two children tablet screens for you though. Hope they can get back to basics and improve.

Don’t go in. Just terrible on all fronts. Ordered at self serve and they immediately marked as complete. I suppose to improve their metrics. Manager was just walking around aimlessly. Asked 3 times by different staff “number???”. Not even hello or anything. The place is filthy. Threw my food away. Was totally cold. Coffee was dreadful. Tasted like mouldy water. Hygiene was just not existent. Staff shouting across at each other and around me while I was waiting. Health inspector needs to pay a visit. None of those people in there should have jobs in hospitality. Don’t go in, go somewhere else.

How in God's green earth can this not be the worst McDonald's in the UK? Rude staff. Rude manager. No screens to order. Just a complete disaster. Sort your life out, whoever owns this franchise. It's a disgrace.

Sorry, when you ask for kebab and chips with salad, that's what I want. Not, kebab meat in separate container, a bag of chips and no salad and be charged an extra £1. When I ask for salad, I was told 'it was late, so we haven't got any salad'. It was 8.30! To add further disappointment, the food was cold on my return home. It's not often I have chippy, but I definitely will not spend my hard-earned money at 'Spires' again Cutting costs and reducing your standards will see you out of business mate.

Esta es realmente una experiencia miserable. Tan pronto como entras, has enojado al personal porque ahora tienen que aceptar tu pedido. Tan antipático y grosero. No puedo entender por qué la gerencia no lo arregla ya que ha sido así durante años.
