Ordered a delivery, no problem. When it arrived we found it was not our order but someone else's. We quickly phoned the restaurant but couldn't get through, so it was into the car and down to the restaurant. Luckily, there was no queue, so we went straight to the counter and explained that the meal we were given was not ours but someone else's over £40 worth. They did some checks and we had the order on our phone still, they were laughing and saying it wasn't there fault but the drivers, well I just wanted my food and as they didnt know where are food was they made the order again fresh. Got in home. we had 2 zinger with 2 pieces of limp lettuce and no mayo in the bun at all. The fries were also limp. Overall, no apology we had paid for delivery and still had to go to the restaurant didn't even offer a piece of chicken to say sorry. Won't use again

Consistently terrible. Order box is always broken ending up it massive cues. My order is more often wrong that right. I end up being given half a kilo of salt sachets and no spoon or fork. A lot of the time in the drive through they send you to a waiting bay, last week I waited 20 minutes there while inside was empty and there was no cars behind me. I think they forgot.

I’d been really looking forward to treating myself to some extra calories as a reward for a month’s careful eating - but was so incredibly disappointed I wish I hadn’t bothered. The pieces of chicken must have been off bantams they were so small. The drumstick was shorter than my little finger, and bare bone for half of that. One other piece of chicken was smaller than a credit card and 2cm high, and the 3rd bit was even smaller as it was triangular. To add insult to injury, not only were the pieces drastically undersized, but we were charged nearly 10% more than the prices on the wall menu ‘because all the prices have increased now’ . Definitely not worth returning there - used all the naughty calories for the month and not even full up.

While working nearby we went in for coffee and food. We placed the order using the touch screen. No receipt was printed. A staff member presented me with a bag of food but offered no drinks, and looked blankly at me. When I asked she said there was no hot drinks available and pointed at the cold drink cups. I was now talking to two women who’s English language skills could only be described as extremely poor at best. I could not understand a word they was saying and neither could they understand me. Meanwhile my workmate had checked the order and it was missing a item. I tried to tell the staff that the gravy was missing from the order but I might as well have been talking to the faulty coffee machine. I finally spoke to the manager and I told her the staff were “useless”. She struggled to refund me the difference but it didn’t go into my bank. She tried to give us large complementary Pepsi’s but couldn’t understand why we refused, if we wanted cold drinks we would have ordered cold drinks. Also my workmates chicken was undercooked so we walked out. If anyone wants to film a how-not-to customer care video I suggest they visit this joke outfit.

Well where I start. 1 out 3 order machine didn't work but no signs up. So you make order then it's say can't process payment. Then I had to wait for my food. Ordered food and waited and waited asked what was happening they said waiting for chicken to cook. Didn't bother to tell me this and then when I asked they just said well. Then I said about the rest my order getting cold they just said it won't get cold. Its in a bag not in a microwave 10 mins wait for them to cook chicken and then guess what yes it was cold. Service is really bad at the corby kfc. Wished we had another close by. And check tour order before tou leave they get it wrong alot

Dreadful experience. I could cope with the long wait and even the food that was missing if the person serving us had some manners. Tray was put on the table, no smile, no sorry, no thank you. Same again when the second tray arrived. My 14 year old volunteered to fetch the missing food, but he was ignored. My daughter went to get ketchup, was also ignored. To be fair the food was good apart from cold chips. First time at a KFC, would never return here. A simple please and thank you goes a long way.

Maybe I’m being finicky or maybe I’ve just had enough of the abysmal service at kfc corby. On a normal visit to the drive thru I’m met by staff that don’t want to communicate which is pretty much a service I’ve come to expect and over the last 6 months another service I’ve learnt not to get used to is expecting and salt, spoons or napkins. My breaking point today is when drink was handed to me with lid not on properly so half of contents spilled all over the centre console which affected my button handbrake playing up which I would of soaked up if their had been napkins in my bag when I pulled over. But of course there was not. So then decide to use paper bag to try and soak up the drink only to have the box that my meal was in not constructed properly so lost half of contents of my meal over the floor. So paid £7 for half a meal. At this point wish Favorite chicken or Dixy chicken had a drive thru.

I had a portion of salad and a portion of coleslaw. That we don't eat! Receiving the wrong order has happened on several occasions using the drive thru but not for a while, I thought things had improved. I understand they were very busy, if it hadn't been so busy I could have checked my order before driving off. There was a queue of cars waiting behind me and leading almost upto the enterance/exit, I wouldn't have been able to sit and go through my order. I contacted KFC to be compensated for the items I didn't receive, I had tried ringing the Corby restaurant and it just kept ringing out. I received the following email. I’m so sorry to hear that we didn’t give you the full order you asked for at the Corby Oakley Restaurant. Thanks for letting us know so we can try to put things right.   It’s so frustrating when you order something then don’t get it - especially when we’re supposed to be looking after you Karen. There are a whole host of reasons it happens, from someone on the team mis-hearing to simply making a mistake. We try to make sure we’re ready for anything but sometimes, even despite all the training and organising, we don’t get it right. I’m sorry that’s what happened for you.   I’ll get in touch with the Manager at the Corby Restaurant to let them know they missed items from your order. Our Area Coach who looks after the restaurant will make sure everything is working as it should be. They’ll work with our Manager to make sure this isn’t happening regularly. Been here 3 or 4 times only in the last 2 years, when I’m in London I go weekly. I went a few days ago as they had a complete refit a few months back. It all looked nice and fresh but the food was the same as my other 3 experiences there, burnt or dry and very greasy. The last time prior to this one I used the drive through and got a family bucket plus burgers and popcorn chicken, I asked for NO LEGS but as I was driving on my own I couldn’t check it there and then, got home to the family and found 4 legs and all the chicken was very dark on the outside as if it had been reheated or recooked, I don’t know why a Manager or Area Manager not do anything about this, the Kettering shop is absolutely amazing in comparison, think I will leave it another good few months before I go back again.

Walked in and it was empty. The toilets are disgusting, stink and dirty. Went to the counter, 1 person behind counter making up Deliveroo/just eat orders completely ignored me. After 5 minutes man (possibly manager) came out and greated 2 of his eastern european friends who had just walked in. Then called someone out of the back to serve them, completely ignoring me. It’s a shame the staff aren’t as good as the food. The food here is delicious and always piping hot and well cooked however the staff are so rude and miserable. We always use the drive thru and the staff do not listen to you properly, they are rude and one even tried to argue with us. There is one lady who is really lovely but I can’t remember her name and it’s a pleasure to speak to her however the other staff are really rude get annoyed if they don’t understand you and do not let you complete your order before trying to move you along. They often tut and never give a smile. Some of the staff could really do with some extra training in building rapport with customers. They make the experiencing of ordering food unpleasant. If there was another kfc in Corby I’m certain this particular restaurant would lose a lot of customers due to the poor customer service.

I visited kfc last week, and a young lady on the front named Chloe was very helpful!! I didn’t know what to get me and my family as I didn’t know what the best deal was and she helped me find the best deal for my money!! Couldn't understand a word of the staff member which isn't a big deal, but I will not tolerate being made to look like a fool in front of other customers with other staff members snickering in the background, even if this attitude and behaviour is expected from this calibre of unskilled labour. We visited this establishment today for a quick lunch and we’re mortified at the size of the chicken fillet on mine and my husbands zinger burger, it’s like the chicken fillets had been cut in half, they were so thin that you could hardly taste the chicken, nothing like the pictures on the board at the register. They also didn’t have any corn or kids meals. I can’t help but think that KFC still has supply issues and this branch is cutting size to stretch out their supplies. Disgusting given that their prices are still the same!

I visit this establishment on average twice a month to take away 98% of the time my order is WRONG when I arrive home there is either fries, chicken, gravy or coleslaw missing. I have had to call them and they enter into a book so that next time they rectify it. I went in last night and I hadn’t finished ordering and they were preparing my order. When I challenged it they basically told me to go somewhere else and I and other customers weren’t the ones paying their wages also KFC was too big to close down. Our family like KFC food so we go to Corby KFC about once every 2 weeks. We have done this for around the last 8-10 years I guess. The food is the best thing about it. Service always seems slow (in my opinion not enough staff on tills) and the tables never seem to get cleaned very quickly either. We also find that quite often the tea/coffee/ice cream machine "isn't working" which is quite poor given that McDonald's don't seem to suffer anything like as many breakdowns..and no, I don't work for them. My final complaint is that they seem to tolerate letting loads of teenagers, who never really seem to be eating, to sit around behaving like louts, without ever doing anything about it. As I said at the start we do really enjoy the KFC food, but the Management here need to up their game a bit all round.

I have used this kfc several times and on each time the food has got worse the only consistency being the very poor unfriendly service. The very last time i will visit this restaurant on Tues night resulted in my order being wrong and what ever the hell was in my bag did not resemble anything that was on the menu boards that i based my selection from. All of our burgers looked liked they had been retrieved from the bin the salad in them was a couple of small yellowy green stuff presumably lettuce the cheese looked like congealed fat and our chips were stone cold. After getting home 5 miles away from this kfc i just could not be bothered to return whatever was in my bags preferring just to bin it and ensure this place never again gets my custom.

How thick do you have to be to work in KFC? Every order they get wrong. Employ people who can speak or at least understand English. Shame coz the food is nice

Gone through the drive through was quick and efficient even though I ordered a plain burger it was ready as soon as I was at the window to pay. Food was what I'd expect from a KFC

USED NEW CAFE TODAY NEVER AGAIN READ ON....... Coffee advertised at 125 yet for two cups of very poor weak coffee I was charged 4 pounds Menu is poor portions are small . Prices are favorable to owners bank balance only. Which judging by cafe users it wont be open long. Why exploit a new customer base...... Corby Council or pool manager has now barred you and your children from eating or drinking in a public run building...Oh yes they have....... Why because either they are stupid or the cafe is doing so poorly....that they need to force you to use it. Thats not a good idea dont youse the cafe on principle and eat and drink until you pop.....
