Kfc in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Always manage to get the order wrong. We get cheated out of items we have paid for as they are missing. Rather irritating.

We've had kfc all over the UK and the pool/camborne branch which is our nearest nearly always manages to give us only 6 pieces of chicken when we order the 10 piece wicked variety bucket .....we won't be using them again and would rather travel the 30 miles to Bodmin kfc...always remember to ask for your recipe as they seem to forget to give you one !

DISGUSTING customer service, shift manager Jenny didnt have a clue what she was on about, couldnt forward me to a manager, her lingo was appalling......RETRAIN KFC

Ordered the Party Bucket for £34:90 great value. Keep hot on the journey home. Nice staff the place was very clean . Would I go to KFC in Camborne yes

Filthy dirty, staff stood around. Lack of management. Looking at other reviews it would appear that management don't care

Every table in the restaurant needed a clean down and the floor needed a good sweep and mop, wrote the review before the food arrived, I bet the food is amazing, the self service machine thing had no paper to issue a receipt so I became rather anxious and had to face time my service dog.

Absolutely terrible, too much food cooked and left to go cold, took my meal back twice as asked for fresh, they gave me my original order back again, saw our food sitting on the side in a bag for ten minutes before we got it! No wonder it was cold, attitude of staff is diabolical, rolling their eyes like a typical teenager, you could almost hear the "oh Kevin!!!" Drives me to distraction, if you have a job, do it well, and hold on to it! They are precious, but you won't realise that until you've grown up!! Get your act tpgether KFC!

Dropped in for a quick meal when in the area. The KFC is located in a wider set of units with poor signage to the way in. Chicken was OK, chips greasy and had to ask for napkins as the dispensers were empty,

I couldn’t score it a zero unfortunately, it wasn’t overly busy Just Eat took precedence over people in the queue!! No clean tables, ordered food came in a bag even though eating in ?? Was told no bbq beans available. Chips were soggy and undercooked zinger burger was upside down in bag like it had been thrown in. The floor was filthy food waste paper waste straws absolutely appalling

First time I have been back for a long time, arrived at approximately 11.50, very pleasant young man took my order, left happy, with two zinger burgers and fries, but unfortunately the fries were under cooked and not edible , am I being fussy , don't think so , £15 something later, 🙄 As for me, I won't be taking the chance again, can't afford to throw away hard earned money. Perhaps the franchise owner if that is still the case ,or manager should get back to the floor and get the basics right.🤔

Discussed with the assistant about having a 10 bucket with no trimmings, no problem.... but when I got home I only had 8 pieces when charged for 10. The manager said they could only do refunds if I return order, I live 4 miles away and wanted my tea, they still said they not do refunds if I did not return the item, so I said I will bring back the 2 you never gave me in an empty bucket tomorrow......after a silence she agreed to a refund... bloody poor service especially as they were not busy.

Ordered a fillet box meal, all fine asked the lady if I could have no leg piece of chicken, she said is a thigh ok, I said yes brilliant thank you. Order came out and another lady passed me the meal and low and behold a leg piece was with my meal. I kindly asked for a different piece and she refused and said ‘we can’t guarantee a piece’, but literally give me anything else other than leg and she said no I can’t do that. Terrible rude service, KFCs are normally really nice, this one is terrible.

I was served by Ash, a very polite and helpful lady. Food was tasty and hot. Hopefully see you soon.

The fries were limp and tasted disgusting, no idea what they cooked them in. The fillet burger had only the thinnest smear of mayo and the lettuce was old and yellow. Avoid this culinary hell hole.

Hi just got back from pool KFC had 10 pieces chick bucket ...fat dirty ..tasted awfull left my mouth with a bad taste .I'm getting fed up with this as it's a job to get food that tastes good ..won't be going back colin

Never visiting again.. the food is beyond disgusting. Half of the menu is out of stock or they don’t have packaging for the meals. The chicken in the wrap was vile couldn’t eat it it looked and tasted like it has been re cooked 3/4 times. The chips are cold and flavourless. The staff serving are miserable and clearly don’t want to work there. Poor customer service skills and bad attitude. Won’t be visiting again ever

Visited KFC in Pool in my role as a support worker to buy a meal for a client. Victoria was amazingly helpful assisting me to choose the food that would best suit my client.. even giving me samples to see which would be most appropriate. Very impressed and will certainly return. My client was able to safely enjoy every mouthful. Thank you.

Queued for 10 minutes to be told that they were not serving customers at the checkout as too many orders, forced to use a machine! Order was cold when we finally got served, over 40 minutes waiitng, and the self service machine I was forced to use had no receipt paper, so now details to contact them directly and complain! This si the worst service I have had at any KFC and based on previous poor experience, I would advise avoiding this branch! Unless you are delivaroo or similar as they seem to get priority!

Messed up my order. Didn’t even bother to sort my special request just put normal item in box and stuck special sticker on it. Terrible service. Avoid.

Great location, drive through was slow, service great though. Food was hot as always so cant complain.

Food passable, service not so much... I made an order for the drive thru on the app and got into the queue. Waited a good 10 minutes to get to the order point at which point I gave my order number. I was told that the drive through on the app doesn't work and I had to park up and go inside (I had reasons to need to not leave the car) I was totally stuck in the queue for another good 10 minutes just to get out and go to the cashpoint and had to wait again all over.. There was zero reason they could not have put my order through it was there on the screen! Another 5 minute wait for what should have been a fly in and go. So I wouldn't bother app ordering into the drive thru because it will simply take you 3x as long.

We've been here a couple times over past couple months on all occasions we've experienced pilute and friendly staff we go through the drive thru and staff are great really polite may be a que but surely that shows its a popular place to go...

Which at least is consistent!! The food is ok and you know what to expect when you need something quick and easy you are normally forced down this route. Car park is fairly big and easy to locate

so, after a long day at work i decided i need some chickens. unfortunately none were alive but i was treated to a gorgeous pot of gravy with a rice box and a share box (ALL TO MYSELF). Firstly the chicken in the share box...

Was going to use the drive thru but there was about 30 cars already waiting ! So we stood at the counter for 25 minutes, I then asked a member of staff how long it would be until they took my order, and the manager...

Poor service. Took 20mins before they took order. Got order wrong. Manager was very rude (young male). Sales girl was polite. Had to buy extra because they said I ordered wrong. Got home and popcorn chicken was missing. My young girls were upset and hungry....

Ordered an 8 piece boneless banquet box. Small popcorn chicken instead of large, 1 portion of chips instead of 4, only put in 6 pieces of chicken 3 of which had bones. No communication to check if this was okay. Absolutely useless!

It's been a while since my last KFC, so thought I'd give it a go. Wish I hadn't, it was the worst fillet burger I've ever had. The chicken was like rubber and looked like it had been kicked around the shop floor several times...

So, we have to my shame visited here twice in two weeks! The service through the drive through is always slow, although the food has always been fresh, succulent and as tasty as fast food can get. The carpark is a bit tight, and why...

Horrendous food, rubbery chicken, if you drop the pop corn chicken it might bounce into the stratosphere so beware.

Waited 45 minutes in a que for the drive through! Only to have the order taken buy incapable member of staff who did not appear to be listening to what I was ordering, I had to repeat myself several times to get her to understand...

I have had a lot of KFC all over the country and used this branch a good few times. Food is OK in general but there is never any gravy and the waiting time is ridiculous. Need better management in my eyes due to it...

BIG Fan of KFC, but this restaurant is awful :( poor service, poor food. But looking at the other reviews here on TA im not alone with these views. PLEASE sort this out KFC

With covid-19 regulations in place the young lady packing the food was playing with her nose and not changing gloves. She then wiped her nose in the collar of her t-shirt.

26 May 2020 bucket of chicken bought 11-30am - 8 hours later the craps began, wont be returning. Everyone who ate it all had terrible wind and diarrhea.

We came here for a quick lunch before heading elsewhere. The service was quite efficient although there was a small wait. My parent's zinger stacks were good, however not very hot and the chips have since improved. I had a wrap which was very tasty and the chicken drumstick was also very tasty. The restaurant was cleaner than last time and overall a pleasant experience.

Waited ages to speak to order a meal didnt think it was working so I drove around and lady was quite rude and ignorant

I went in, ordered, waited 45 minutes for my food , left with no acknowledgement or apology for keeping me waiting and went home. Opened the meal which should of contained 4 portions of chips to find I’d been given none. Utter rubbish. Haven’t and won’t been back. I’d strongly advise against it.

We have not visited Camborne KFC for a while, but could not believe the difference from our previous visit.On entering the tables were mostly dirty, while the floor needed a thorough clean everywhere, there were squashed tomato sachets on the floor by the counter and serviettes on the floor.As if this was bad enough the food was not no where near the standard you would expect from a KFC outlet. It will be a long time before we have another KFC.This outlet is giving KFC a bad name

Visited this branch three times since September. Hoping on each occasion it has improved. It hasn’t. Each visit was horrific. Lack of items available on the menu. No burgers? No gravy? At least a 30 minute wait for food each time. Staff that don’t care..one even ASKED me to make a formal complaint!! And to top it off, the member of staff that works bagging up the food and doing the drinks absolutely stinks of BO. DISGUSTING PLACE. I won’t be bothering again.

Best advice I can give is don’t buy your KFC here. I love KFC, but the service is really slow, and most times they don’t have the side you ordered. My last visit was the worst yet, handed me a carry bag with my order in, a sharing bucket, got home and found no chips or drink. Maybe I should have checked before I left, but that’s not my job. Will in future Phoned to complain, but was greeted with the disinterested next time you call in we will sort it out for you. Not much help to me nowIt’s just a pity that I love the chicken.

Went here with my husband on Christmas Eve. It wasnt very busy but the service was slow and several people left due to KFC not having what was on the menu. The tables were filthy and no one cleaned them in the 20 minutes we was in KFC. Too many staff doing very little. One lovely lady was taking the orders but apart from her it was a joke. Shouldnt have bothered opening.

Went through the drive through for the very first time, waited which I dont mind doing as its the same wherever you go but expect the food to be what you ordered. It's annoying to start eating to then find that what you ordered is wrong. You shouldn't have to check your meal everytime before you go to make sure it's all there.

Recently visited, 10 minutes wait because they ran out of fries! chicken on the bone was greasy; order wrong I wasn't given the choice of eat in or take way - it was assumed we were taking away! Priority seems to be given to drive thru customers, and if you do go in they want you to use a machine to order - not use the counter! Slow service, could really do alot better especially as was quiet! I hate to think what they are like when busy!

Having been here many times the underlying problem is the wait times, it’s a drive through not sit and wait for 15 minutes to get to the pay booth and then to be parked for another 10 minutes to wait for food.

Dropped in to pickup a KFC... made my order, didn’t wait very long... seemed pretty good. While waiting at counter 2 men were asking to speak to manager, they were being fobbed off. One man turned to me and said check your order has there was wrong 3 times in a row... I didn’t. Which I had as when got home it was missing items I had paid for. Yet again KFC getting it wrong... Warning. Check your order, every item, before you leave. If like me you found an alien item in your meal, a screw last time, make a BIG complaint, don’t just accept a sorry.

At 20:30pm. Seriously?? Slow service, half of the food isn’t available and the staff couldn’t care less. Poor.

Just popped in for a quick coffee, I'm glad we hadn't planned to eat because the place was filthy, half the tables needed clearing & all of them were dirty as was the floor, somebody had spilled a drink on the floor near our table sometime earlier & they had just plonked a yellow slippery floor sign on it & just left it. There were only 2 or 3 families eating & several staff loafing around behind the counter but none of them were making any effort to clean up. This branch hasn't been here long but if they don't sort themselves out I can't see it lasting long.

30 minutes in the drive thru queue is frustrating enough to then be told they didn’t have half of what we wanted to order. Slovenly staff with no people skills and can’t be bothered nor is it my problem attitude!!! Drove away to McDonald’s And had fast service With friendly efficient staff! Will defiantly be sticking with mcdaonlds for a treat. Don’t bother with this kfc horrendous!!!!

Everytime they get my order wrong. Currently sat in the queue in the drive through and have been for over ten minutes while four staff members look blankly at the till screen. Penzance is good. Camborne is a lovely building, terrible staff therefore terrible management.

We have been regular customers of kfc as its my husband favourite and we were over the moon when opened locally as we had to travel to penzance. What an awful place poor service slovenly staff with poor attitude lack of menu items.we have managed to get half a tub of gravy in the last 10 visits. Me, my partner and my friend visited KFC in Pool/Camborne last night. It was quite late and close to closing time, but rather than the staff being frustrated by our rather large order, they were so accommodating.

If you want to stand around waiting for your food do come into KFC at Camborne.

Having been failed by Falmouth KFC a few days earlier, we risked orders g from the KFC in Pool. It was a big order, we were hungry, and most times we have ordered from this KFC it’s wrong, even had a screw in a burger... So I expected this one to be wrong somewhere... but shock horror it was spot on! It was also very tasty. Well done.

It's rare for us to visit KFC and after today's experience I'm reminded why we normally avoid visiting.

Is a good KFC faster than Penzance one is but then an asthmatic ant is quicker than the service at that one, only thing is here they always seem to run out of the gravy and never ahve any.

I thought I'd walked into a Zombie Apocalypse, the staff were slower than continental drift and when eventually my takeaway order was complete I asked for a takeaway bag to put my order in the surly rude girl serving me slapped it down on the counter for me to deal with like I'd made an inproper suggestion. I wish them well but I think if your service expectations are higher than getting treated like an inconvenience you'd better go elsewhere.

We visited this week and ordered a chicken burger with no mayo for our daughter, but it arrived with the mayo. The employee's answer to this? Simply put the chicken burger in a new bun with fresh lettuce, ignoring the mayo already smeared across the bottom of the chicken burger! Okay, for my daughter it is just a preference, she simply doesn't like mayo, so ate it anyway. But what if this was an allergy issue???? What if she was actually allergic to it? It could have caused her to go into anaphylactic shock!! This slap dash, careless and deceitful attitude is not good enough! The staff led us to believe the chicken burger was a new fresh one. I think anyone with serious allergies should definitely avoid this particular restaurant.

Third visit, I like KFC, I just don’t like waiting ages for “fast food”. This place just doesn’t seem to get any better. Poor service, general cleanliness is terrible. I’ve just seen someone clean the floor and then the table with the same brush , no antibacterial in sight. Food hygiene non existent. The colonel would not be happy.

Krushems was basically just milk. Every time I have ordered food there it has always taken ages and been cold. Service is terrible Going down the pan really quickly, getting worse every visit

I used to love a KFC but after the first visit when it had only been open a week and found it really lacking, ie cold chips and luke warm chicken with missing condiments, missing item from order.

I went into the restaurant and ordered a mighty bucket for one, fries and a drink to take away. It didn’t seem particularly busy but there was a lot of people waiting. Staff seemed to be making errors when serving up the food which resulted in a lot of unhappy customers. I had to wait in excess of 20 minutes for what I consider to be standard order. When my number was called they had prepared my meal to eat in rather than take away. When I said I ordered a take away it was simply dumped from the tray into a bag and about half a dozen chips fell to the floor leaving me a pathetic size portion of chips. The young lad serving didn’t seem to care of have any customer service skills. The restaurant seemed under staffed with no management or control.

I have never seen a restaurant make so many mistakes in such a short space of time, almost every order that went out had something either missing or was just completely wrong, and to watch the staff and management just laugh and joke around about it just clearly shows how much these people care about what they are doing. It's only a matter of time until this place gets shut down.

Wouldn’t even give it one star... absolute shambles. Never in my life have I seen so many people make cooking chicken look so hard..

We’ve visited a couple of times in hope that it will get better but it hasn’t why can’t cornwall do kfc properly ??

2nd visit to the New KFC in Camborne.

Have tried this KFC three times now and won't be back. Long waits, orders not correct, argumentative staff. Complete lack of customer service, better chicken elsewhere! It's a standing joke when we pass there now as not many seem to have had a great experience.

First visit to this kfc and will go back again. Clean and tidy. Busy time to go but not a long wait and staff member I dealt with was pleasant and helpful. Most importantly though, the food order was correct, hot, tasted freshly cooked. Felt the meal was good value.

Went here with family and soon regretted our choice of restaurant. The staff here were so sarcastic and could not be bothered with customers such bad service with a can't be bothered attitude to go with it. Food was horrendous full of grease! (More than the usual fried chicken). Ended up getting a good old pasty!

I have not experienced KFC before but as this was the only option late on a Sunday night, after a 7 hour journey, I decided to give it a try. Staff were helpful, food area new and clean. The Menu felt bewildering to a new diner. I wanted a burger (as anything with animal bones in seems beastly) and the pictures on the depressing, new style touch screen were uninspiring. Took a gamble from the description and upgraded to a meal which was remarkably cheap to do. Excellent value. I enjoyed my first chicken burgers and will no doubt return to try out some more of the puzzling pictures.

Over the years I have enjoyed KFC meals at many locations throughout the UK but I can say this was the slowest service I have ever experienced which was surprising as the restaurant was not particularly busy in KFC terms.

food was so greasy and If you don’t mind people not shutting the door behind them and your food flying off the table then this is the place to go 😡

Visited last month and was impressed so tried again this evening

My second visit, my first time waited 45 minutes after paying to be then told they had ran out of what I had ordered! Given the option to change my order or wait at least another hour! No offer of compensation - attitude was they didn't care.

My husband and I thought we would try our this new store as we thought it should now be well established. Boy were we wrong. We had our order taken fairly quickly, but the member of staff didn't know how to scan my KFC card. Then we sat behind just 2 cars for 25 minutes, before getting to the food window. We then sat there for another 5 minutes, to then be asked to move to a parked area and wait. This wasn't possible as there are only 2 small spaces and it was already taken up by a van. So we couldn't park up until he moved. Total wait for just 2 mega boxes (no special order) 35 minutes. This wasn't even a busy time of day! I have written a complaint and just had a standard reply that they will train staff better. Although food was good, we won't be using this store again.

After reading several reviews, mostly negative, I thought I’d wait a while before giving this new KFC a try. Today was the day and I have to say how impressed I was with the quality of my meal. I ordered the Tower Fillet and I couldn’t fault it. The only reason I’ve deducted a star from the 5 star is that I felt the chip/fries portion was small and not good value for the money. Apart from that, will I go back? Definitely!

So where do I being. I have just been to this KFC and I can safely say I’ll never use it again. First problem was the overflowing bin as soon as you walk through the door. Ordered our food via the self service machine and our food was ready relatively quickly. My partner then offered a toffee ice cream which shouldn’t take more than a minute to get to us. Well that’s where we were wrong, 15 minutes later my partner has to go up and ask for it and it’s done within seconds.

this has to be the slowest FAST FOOD drive through in the country , a 20 minute waite from when your order is taken to when you get your food is not uncommon
