The place was very busy but was very clean, all tables and seating in good order, counter staff very polite, but hey it is Cornwall God's wonderful county

This is by far the quickest mcds I've been to, and believe me I've been to alot. I wasn't sure if my order had gone through properly on the app so I went to the counter to check and it was there ready. And it was a big order with special orders too. I was amazed, the branches in Yorkshire could take a leaf out of your book.

All good as usual. Great value. Friendly service and quick. Clean tables. Recommended.

Stopped off for a spot of brekkie. Lush McMuffins, they were Lit. Our fluffy pooch enjoyed the outside atmos, barking joyfully at a dog colleague across the other side of the car park. One very friendly wasp joined our party, which helped to make up the numbers. Buzzing!

No idea ref McDonald's...dont really like it BUT this local legend helped me retrieve my keys (along with a lovely young lady that brought out a magnet from tool station) after I decided to accidently throw them down the drain!! They were my campervan and house keys and I was 7hrs from home! Literally saved me from major problems and lots of cost. So if you need work doing locally, give him a call. Anyone with that sense of decency and kindness will definitely do a great job 😊 thank you Pete Cobble!

Tasty cheeseburger, arrived quickly.

Great service. Very nice. But table wasn't really clean. A bit hectic. Busy. The devices constantly beeped loudly.

We only used the drive thru, but the 2 staff we see were polite, the service was very quick and the food & drink were hot.

I'd like to give a massive thankyou to this McDonald's, after my car broke down they let me stay until it was fixed, I obviously bought my coffees and food but was nice to be able to have somewhere safe and dry whilst a waited for my car to be fixed, thanks guys

Service was painfully slow! Took about 20mins wait to receive our food which would have been too much even for a sit in restaurant let alone a fast food chain! Otherwise food was great and premises were clean and tidy.

Went to McDonald’s in Bodmin for the 1st time (we travelled from Kent) and we got exceptional service for Roselynn. She brought some colour sheets over for my little ones and was just so caring and polite. Her attention to detail to her job was outstanding. She was only cleaning duties and the premise were exceptionally clean.

The ice cream machine is permanently knackered, so tough luck if you wanted a milkshake. There is more chance of Maddie Mccann scoring the winner for England in the World Cup final than them getting your order right The car park is populated by the Armenian deliveroo mafia on motorbikes and local Kevs .

Only called for cold drinks, but the guy who served us wasn't helpful at all, and it felt like I was being rushed . I know it was drive-through, which is supposed to be speedy , but even when the manager came along, he was unhelpful also, and this was all due to the app not loading properly . Won't be using that mcdonalds drive thru in the future . Oh, and I would have been short-changed had I not checked .

Clean restaurant very friendly staff busy but plenty of seating. Food was perfect coffee and McDonald's breakfast just what was needed 😋

I go to McDonalds for my daughter she is not very mobile for us to take her there makes her day and gets her out the only way she can go anywhere is when we take her out MC Donald's do not deliver to us

Absolutely brilliant service what made it easier was being able to go to your table and order your meal at the table and then it's brought to you which saves you queueing at the counter.

I got frustrated because there was no signal in the store, so I had to walk outside to get my the pin code on my McDonald's app. The place was a bit busy but we didn't wait too long. The food was hot and the service was ok.

Worst McDonalds in Britain. Slowest service ever, staff couldn’t give a …. Have never had a good experience here - drive through or sit in. Better off buying your own food and recreating the recipe yourself - will arrive faster. Utterly useless, sack the whole staff and start again.

Ordered 2 Big Mac and fries on delivery. When it arrived there was only 1 Big Mac in the bag with the chips. I rang the shop and the woman at the other end was extremely rude to me. Blaming the driver (who has nothing to do with the process other than delivering). Then she blamed me and told me that if i wanted the Mac i'd have to come and get it myself. Then she said i'd have to contact Uber Eats and pay for another delivery if i wouldn't come and fetch it. I explained i don't drive and she said well contact Uber for a refund and that's that. I think that the manager should give the staff a good talking to. Never ordering from them again

Burger was different from what I ordered fries were great but they changed my drink and put water in it and it wasn’t meant to have water

There was a customer at the collection desk being very rude and impatient. At least 3 employees interacted with her and were all extremely polite and gracious, and redid her food and coffee with big smiles despite her snapping at them. Really nice staff here, props to them for keeping their cool.

Food is just standard McDonald's food, I think however it is becoming the norm to park up at McDonald's now to wait for food, it seems the same at most of the chain.

They always miss foods off my order

The service was awful. We spend 25 minutes waiting for our food and we were told to wait at the bay. As a vegetarian there is only two items on the menu that I can actually eat.

Absolutely awful experience. Appreciate that it was a busy time but nowhere to sit, mess everywhere. Staff shouting order numbers creating a stressful atmosphere. Very chaotic. Will not be going back there!

Waiting in que 3 minutes and 3 other cars that turned up got service. So a total of 10 minites before geting my order close.

Placed an order on the app for click and serve. After waiting 20 minutes our food had not arrived. So we went through the drive through to chase it up, to which we were given said food. Upon parking up, we looked in the bag. I had ordered 3 Chicken selects, but only had 2 in the box. I also ordered the new Galaxy McFlurry but had been given a different one. Overall, wish I didn’t bother

Lovely customer service every time

How can they get such a simple order wrong .. cheese burger no sauce .. they get the no sauce correct,but for some reason they think onion is a sauce.. retards ..

Orders are never correct, restaurant is always filthy , food is never hot and always weirdly wet , the price is extortion for the mess they provide , I tried to order it on the McDonald’s app once to see if it would be any different but it took over 2 hours to arrive then I was refused a refund when it was stone cold , had items missing from our order and they’d left tomatoes on the food despite me being allergic and requesting them to be removed , atleest in the restaurant they cared enough to not add them. Would never recommend to anyone

Tried to order on McDonald’s App , it took over 2 hours to arrive , I called them half way and tried to cancel but they refused to cancel my order , then when it did come it was of course stone cold , weirdly wet , they’d left tomato in my burger which I’m allergic to , and they’d missed the two extra bits I ordered for my husband. When I went in to the store they didn’t add the tomatoes which was great but it looked like they’d just thrown everything else in the box and it was still unpleasant, some of the staff are lovely but overall I wouldn’t recommend this

Never get a delivery from here! If it turns up the order will be wrong , items missing and frozen cold , If you’re going in , do so at your own risk 😂 worst restaurant to ever coke to Bodmin! Sat on the phone trying to get through to the restaurant for 26 minutes to cancel an order I made over an hour ago and 45 mins before that when someone finally picked up she told me to cancel it on the app , which you can’t do , so she told me to complain and get a refund on the app , which you also can not do , my most recent order took 2 hours and 48 minutes to arrive , I ordered two items.

What's to say? We all know what these places are like and they're all the same. 1st impression... You can smell the place before you see it, the smell of fat hangs in the air around it. 2nd impression... No visible staff around. Our only contact with a human was to pass us our food. When you've been out for the evening, hungry on the way home then mc .Donald's has it's place although I would prefer a chipshop. Other than that, nutritionally , eat at home.

Absolute disgrace of a service. Incompetence at every level of staff. ALWAYS wrong orders, ALWAYS missing items, even replaced an order and the new order has missing items. sort your lives out. How can you function? when you can't even put 4 items in a bag correctly.

The Worst Mc D In The UK By Far! Items Wrong, Lengthily queues in drive thru, 30 mins for a latte! WHY - Park people with big orders and let people with small orders get there items quickly! - Fast Food is not a thing at mc d Bodmin. Ordered two sausage and egg McMuffins without egg and they didn’t add the sausage so I got 2 awful cheese sandwiches for almost £6! By the time I realised I was too far to go back, ruined my day 👎

Their mcflurry/milkshakes are constantly out of order! Useless, always have to travel further so kids can get one.

When ordering, always forgets the sauces. The mixer for the drinks is usually not correct and milkshake machine tends to be "broken"

Ordered a simple easy choice via drive through in view of how busy they were, but we were kept waiting far longer than was reasonable. Had to park up and go in store to receive order, nice we had fresh warm fries but burgers were cold.

Take out. Really quick service. Ordered via the app. In the carpark then ready when I walked in to collect. Now a regular stop for me on my route to and from Cornwall while stopping to add some charge to the car.

Where do I begin? Bodmin McDonalds is by far the worst I have ever experienced and after nearly two years of poor service, I felt compelled to leave this review. Today, I simply had enough of the total lack of care for customers and poor delivery of your product. Let me start by saying that McDonalds is synonymous with fast food, at a fair price with efficient and polite customer service. That is until you arrive at Bodmin McDonalds drive thru. I usually pass through the drive thru every morning at around 7.30am. Often I am one of the only vehicles there and I order a large cappucino every morning, sometimes twice a day if I fancy one for the way home. When you approach the ordering screen, I instantly know I am about to get asked "Have you ordered on the app today?" - NO, I haven't ordered on the app because its useless and no faster than just going through the drive thru or in store because you cannot lodge yourself as ready to collect until you arrive in the vicinity so the app is useless and pointless unless it adds speed to the experience, which it does not. Secondly, being one of the only cars in the drive thru at that time, the speed at which I get served is abysmal, sometimes 3-4 minutes. It's as though your staff aren't "expecting" there to be customers and therefore aren't in any form of hurry to deliver good customer service for a simple order - a Large Cappucino. Then when you arrive at the payments window, invariably, there is no one there. No doubt in the kitchen having a chat despite having just taken the order. It's not as though there are queue of cars being served ahead of me so there's no excuse to be waiting at the payments window beyond 10-20 seconds. Having then paid and creeping towards the collections window, quite often there is no one there and it can take anywhere between 1-4 minutes to retrieve the coffee - again, considering the restaurant or drive thru are not busy at this time, there seems little excuse. Don't get me wrong, some of the staff are good and they do offer good and polite customer service but there are others who can barely speak, as though they are not even humans! Some refer to me as "mate", NO, I am not your mate, I am a paying customer and I have no idea who you are. It's just terrible customer service on the most part. But more worrying, i now wish to inform you of today's experience. I approach the ordering booth at a similar time to always. there is one car at the payments window and no other cars, therefore, one might assume a smooth and simple transaction but it was far from that. After being sat there for 4 minutes, I am yet to be served so I beep my horn. An aggressive female barks "I'll be with you in a moment" OK, fair enough, so I wait a little longer. In the second lane approaches another vehicle and gets served instantly. Getting angrier, I beep my horn again to be told by the same female "I'm on my own". A second vehicle arrives in the second lane and gets served instantly, then a third! I beep again, the same female barks "What is your problem, I told you I was on my own". I say "You are clearly not on your own as three other cars have ordered in the second lane whilst I sit here for what should be a simple order of a Large Cappucino".....getting argumentative, the female says "It's no my problem". I tell her to forget it, I don't want my order and I will NEVER come back again. To conclude, I suspect coffee sales are one of your most frequent and profitable sales. It is easy to press a button on a machine, charge £1.99 for something that costs you 20 pence. A Large Cappucino is only ever 3/4 full to the brim anyway so it's not really a "Large" and the Bodmin McDonalds is painfully slow whatever the scenario. If there are more than 3 cars waiting, lookout, you know you're in for a 20 minute wait because the staff just don't care and they do not subscribe to the Mcdonalds model which works so well in many other stores. There is a Starbucks being built directly opposite so guess what, I'll just go there once its open. Bodmin Mcdonalds - you are awful.

Got our food to realise they gave us the wrong burgers, wouldn’t give us money back for the difference and were nothing but rude and didn’t seem to understand what the issue was.

Queued up at the drive thru and watched 3 cars pass through in the second queue with no response to me. I even shouted into the speaker system so they knew I was there, only to be greeted with “I’ll be with you in a minute”. I ended up just driving through without ordering. I told the cashier as I was passing through that I was just sat there with no one greeting me on the speaker and watched 3 other cars pass through in the other queue but he just looked though me and didn’t say anything. I’m feeling like a proper Karen writing this review but it’s honestly the most shocking service I’ve ever had anywhere.

Update: still terrible. For the love of God, just adjust your coffee machines because I'm so tired of getting half filled Hot McCafe drink instead of filling my damn cup up. We always wait forever for our order at this McDonald's. Last week we waited 23 minutes from when I placed my order on the app and got in the line at the drive thru until I got my order. And it's hit or miss if they get your order correct or not. The food itself was decent and hot, which it should be after waiting so long. I always check my bag before I drive off from the window, because if something is missing, you will wait another 20-30 mins for them to fix it.

McDonald's has sunk soooo low in expectations now. All branches serve the same dire looking food. Large drinks only filled to regular fills. No fast food just annoyingly slow food. Forgot my fries and scolded me with the coffee. Yep it's a hot drink but only supposed to be served at 80+ Deg not straight boiling water.

It's a fast food takeaway, the food comes out fast, it's not healthy, but it tastes good. It's reasonably priced as well. Kids obviously love it and would eat here all the time if they could.
