McDonald's in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Sorry but the slowest maccies I've ever been to. I'd like to be positive, but waited 25 minutes on a Sunday evening in an almost empty restaurant and then they forgot part of my order This was 2 years ago nothing has changed, this is without doubt the slowest McDonald's restaurant I've ever been to. Either go in or driver though it's the same

Nice food, great staff, can be busy at certain times due to being near the college

Food was good, app was very glitchy but the staff member I spoke to was great at sorting it out

My family enjoyed it, as a slimming world member I sat it out lol.

Staff always friendly, but it was horrendous weather, and the Young lady had to bring my food out to the car park, I told her she should have a coat on, and she said she wasn't allowed! Come on macdonalds, supply outside rainwear. i. E. high visibility jackets

Customer service is terrible a Middle Aged woman with pink hair was giving customers dirty looks and was acting hostile towards myself and others. As if she was sick of her job did not look good from an outsiders perspective in regards to staff morale. I was also hit in the back with a tray from another member of staff the training here is awful

Poor customer service with long queues and rude manager, who Lies about her name - what more could you wish for ? As a manager you would expect an individual to be honest, set an example and where a name badge; but she had no name badge, and said she was called ‘Jane’; whereas it transpires that she is actually called ‘Kaylees McDonald’ (thanks to a ex-member of staff for that information). With a severe rude attitude and setting a bad example to another staff working around her with her abusive and aggressive attitude, all because after arriving (with a drive through order) and being told via intercom to proceed to the collect window, I was being toldI should have stopped at the payment kiosk; not what I was told and not the experience at any other McDonald's. With such a rude manager, who lies about their name; is this good customer service; not at all.

Awful experience. Places and order and took my money. Estimated time was an hour for delivery. 1 hour later, no delivery..! Absolutely fuming. Rang up and this lady told me their are no drivers to delivery my food. Maybe they shoukd state lack of drivers before taking the money... absolute disgrace! No happy!!!!!

Burger and chips were cold , coffee undrinkable

Took 30 minutes to get order although only 4 other people in there. Burgers were cold, drinks were flat with no ice, chicken was cold as anything and chips were like eating fries from a dish washer! I would highly recommend not using this md’s. £25 complete waste of money.

Visited on 21/09 to grab a quick burger via the Drive-Thru. We ordered on the app as we have done on numerous occasions before and we ALWAYS get told to go straight to the last window. When we did that today and were promptly “told off” that we should have gone to payment window before we went to last window. My husband explained that he had never been asked to do that before and is usually asked to go straight to the last window. The extremely rude and aggressive member of staff told us we were wrong and when my husband explained that we have never been asked to do that she told him he was in the wrong and that she knew what she was taking about as she had worked at McDonalds long enough to know she was right. My husband asked for the staff member’s name as she was not wearing any name badge and she ignored the request. Then he had to ask again and she said Jane. Given she was dressed in a managers uniform this is poor as she should be setting an example to all staff. Anyway she was very rude and aggressive in her stance and could do with some re-training in customer service skills and an attitude adjustment in my opinion. We will be writing a formal complaint to McDonalds and I’m only sorry I didn’t react quickly enough to video the interaction to send to McDonald’s.

This isn’t the first time my order from this MacDonalds has been poor. However, it will definitely be the last. Firstly, my large Coke Classic had to be sent back as it was flat, three quarters full and with no ice. I’m not quite sure why it took the girl quite so long to refill it but we could’ve done without the slightly barbed comment when she finally returned with another drink. We had ordered a takeaway and so drove off with our food - as you do - only to find when we came to eat our meal that the two large fries we had ordered and been charged for were only one half full large fries which were lukewarm (much like my husband’s mcplant). Thank goodness the fillet of fish and the apple pie were fine or we would have been in trouble. We then completed the online ‘how did we do’ survey only to be given a voucher for medium fries and a big mac. Really helpful after you’ve paid for large fries and you clearly don’t eat meat because you’ve ordered a fish and a vegetarian option. Perhaps the staff in Bodmin need some training on how to count past one, how to heat food and how to fill a cartoon or cup to capacity. Really poor!

Food was the usual McDonald's. Staff were a little slow but good all in all.

All MacDs are the same, more or less. You do notice a difference when you visit enough. Bodmin has better tasting burgers than the other 2 I use. But, I've dropped a star for service, because I've almost always had to queue for way longer than elsewhere. I've been left at one of the order points in the drive through, just to watch at least 5, maybe more cars get served on the other lane speaker machine. They also forget stuff occasionally, which means returning to sort it out. This can cause major distress, due to the field I work in. I visit the same few MacDs on a regular basis during my working day, Bodmin, St Austell and, to a lesser extent, Fraddon. Again, I'm always impressed by the cooking. I know they're supposed to taste the same everywhere, but Bodmin tastes better, in my opinion.

The place was very busy but was very clean, all tables and seating in good order, counter staff very polite, but hey it is Cornwall God's wonderful county

This is by far the quickest mcds I've been to, and believe me I've been to alot. I wasn't sure if my order had gone through properly on the app so I went to the counter to check and it was there ready. And it was a big order with special orders too. I was amazed, the branches in Yorkshire could take a leaf out of your book.

All good as usual. Great value. Friendly service and quick. Clean tables. Recommended.

Stopped off for a spot of brekkie. Lush McMuffins, they were Lit. Our fluffy pooch enjoyed the outside atmos, barking joyfully at a dog colleague across the other side of the car park. One very friendly wasp joined our party, which helped to make up the numbers. Buzzing!

No idea ref McDonald's...dont really like it BUT this local legend helped me retrieve my keys (along with a lovely young lady that brought out a magnet from tool station) after I decided to accidently throw them down the drain!! They were my campervan and house keys and I was 7hrs from home! Literally saved me from major problems and lots of cost. So if you need work doing locally, give him a call. Anyone with that sense of decency and kindness will definitely do a great job 😊 thank you Pete Cobble!

Great service. Very nice. But table wasn't really clean. A bit hectic. Busy. The devices constantly beeped loudly.

Awful. Food is consistently either wrong or freezing cold, but normally both. In future I will drive and collect from Cornwall Services, which will undoubtedly be faster and get the food delivered before the food is stone cold.

We only used the drive thru, but the 2 staff we see were polite, the service was very quick and the food & drink were hot.

I'd like to give a massive thankyou to this McDonald's, after my car broke down they let me stay until it was fixed, I obviously bought my coffees and food but was nice to be able to have somewhere safe and dry whilst a waited for my car to be fixed, thanks guys

Service was painfully slow! Took about 20mins wait to receive our food which would have been too much even for a sit in restaurant let alone a fast food chain! Otherwise food was great and premises were clean and tidy.

Went to McDonald’s in Bodmin for the 1st time (we travelled from Kent) and we got exceptional service for Roselynn. She brought some colour sheets over for my little ones and was just so caring and polite. Her attention to detail to her job was outstanding. She was only cleaning duties and the premise were exceptionally clean.

The ice cream machine is permanently knackered, so tough luck if you wanted a milkshake. There is more chance of Maddie Mccann scoring the winner for England in the World Cup final than them getting your order right The car park is populated by the Armenian deliveroo mafia on motorbikes and local Kevs .

Only called for cold drinks, but the guy who served us wasn't helpful at all, and it felt like I was being rushed . I know it was drive-through, which is supposed to be speedy , but even when the manager came along, he was unhelpful also, and this was all due to the app not loading properly . Won't be using that mcdonalds drive thru in the future . Oh, and I would have been short-changed had I not checked .

Clean restaurant very friendly staff busy but plenty of seating. Food was perfect coffee and McDonald's breakfast just what was needed 😋

I go to McDonalds for my daughter she is not very mobile for us to take her there makes her day and gets her out the only way she can go anywhere is when we take her out MC Donald's do not deliver to us

Absolutely brilliant service what made it easier was being able to go to your table and order your meal at the table and then it's brought to you which saves you queueing at the counter.

I got frustrated because there was no signal in the store, so I had to walk outside to get my the pin code on my McDonald's app. The place was a bit busy but we didn't wait too long. The food was hot and the service was ok.

Worst McDonalds in Britain. Slowest service ever, staff couldn’t give a …. Have never had a good experience here - drive through or sit in. Better off buying your own food and recreating the recipe yourself - will arrive faster. Utterly useless, sack the whole staff and start again.

Ordered 2 Big Mac and fries on delivery. When it arrived there was only 1 Big Mac in the bag with the chips. I rang the shop and the woman at the other end was extremely rude to me. Blaming the driver (who has nothing to do with the process other than delivering). Then she blamed me and told me that if i wanted the Mac i'd have to come and get it myself. Then she said i'd have to contact Uber Eats and pay for another delivery if i wouldn't come and fetch it. I explained i don't drive and she said well contact Uber for a refund and that's that. I think that the manager should give the staff a good talking to. Never ordering from them again

Burger was different from what I ordered fries were great but they changed my drink and put water in it and it wasn’t meant to have water

There was a customer at the collection desk being very rude and impatient. At least 3 employees interacted with her and were all extremely polite and gracious, and redid her food and coffee with big smiles despite her snapping at them. Really nice staff here, props to them for keeping their cool.

Food is just standard McDonald's food, I think however it is becoming the norm to park up at McDonald's now to wait for food, it seems the same at most of the chain.

They always miss foods off my order

The service was awful. We spend 25 minutes waiting for our food and we were told to wait at the bay. As a vegetarian there is only two items on the menu that I can actually eat.

Absolutely awful experience. Appreciate that it was a busy time but nowhere to sit, mess everywhere. Staff shouting order numbers creating a stressful atmosphere. Very chaotic. Will not be going back there!

Placed an order on the app for click and serve. After waiting 20 minutes our food had not arrived. So we went through the drive through to chase it up, to which we were given said food. Upon parking up, we looked in the bag. I had ordered 3 Chicken selects, but only had 2 in the box. I also ordered the new Galaxy McFlurry but had been given a different one. Overall, wish I didn’t bother

Tried to order on McDonald’s App , it took over 2 hours to arrive , I called them half way and tried to cancel but they refused to cancel my order , then when it did come it was of course stone cold , weirdly wet , they’d left tomato in my burger which I’m allergic to , and they’d missed the two extra bits I ordered for my husband. When I went in to the store they didn’t add the tomatoes which was great but it looked like they’d just thrown everything else in the box and it was still unpleasant, some of the staff are lovely but overall I wouldn’t recommend this

Orders are never correct, restaurant is always filthy , food is never hot and always weirdly wet , the price is extortion for the mess they provide , I tried to order it on the McDonald’s app once to see if it would be any different but it took over 2 hours to arrive then I was refused a refund when it was stone cold , had items missing from our order and they’d left tomatoes on the food despite me being allergic and requesting them to be removed , atleest in the restaurant they cared enough to not add them. Would never recommend to anyone

Never get a delivery from here! If it turns up the order will be wrong , items missing and frozen cold , If you’re going in , do so at your own risk 😂 worst restaurant to ever coke to Bodmin! Sat on the phone trying to get through to the restaurant for 26 minutes to cancel an order I made over an hour ago and 45 mins before that when someone finally picked up she told me to cancel it on the app , which you can’t do , so she told me to complain and get a refund on the app , which you also can not do , my most recent order took 2 hours and 48 minutes to arrive , I ordered two items.

Absolute disgrace of a service. Incompetence at every level of staff. ALWAYS wrong orders, ALWAYS missing items, even replaced an order and the new order has missing items. sort your lives out. How can you function? when you can't even put 4 items in a bag correctly.

What's to say? We all know what these places are like and they're all the same. 1st impression... You can smell the place before you see it, the smell of fat hangs in the air around it. 2nd impression... No visible staff around. Our only contact with a human was to pass us our food. When you've been out for the evening, hungry on the way home then mc .Donald's has it's place although I would prefer a chipshop. Other than that, nutritionally , eat at home.

WHY - Park people with big orders and let people with small orders get there items quickly! - Fast Food is not a thing at mc d Bodmin. Hopefully all the staff are replaced by ameba who will undoubtedly make less mistakes and work a lot better.

I don’t remember the last time you got fries that was not soggy from here and nothing is ever right their always something missing The menu constantly has multiple missing items I mean how can you not have Big Mac sauce or quarter pounders or even the sauce for their special burger at the the time nor do they have any sweets products available other than the apple pie Milkshakes are never Available untill at least 3/4 in the afternoon every day no matter what this has to be by the worst McDonald’s their has ever been The manager should be ashamed of how poor this place is run

Slowest mcdonalds ever 10 mins to get 1 latte.

Ordered two sausage and egg McMuffins without egg and they didn’t add the sausage so I got 2 awful cheese sandwiches for almost £6! By the time I realised I was too far to go back, ruined my day 👎

Their mcflurry/milkshakes are constantly out of order! Useless, always have to travel further so kids can get one.

When ordering, always forgets the sauces. The mixer for the drinks is usually not correct and milkshake machine tends to be "broken"

Ordered a simple easy choice via drive through in view of how busy they were, but we were kept waiting far longer than was reasonable. Had to park up and go in store to receive order, nice we had fresh warm fries but burgers were cold.

Take out. Really quick service. Ordered via the app. In the carpark then ready when I walked in to collect. Now a regular stop for me on my route to and from Cornwall while stopping to add some charge to the car.
