Mcdonald's in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

I waited 10 minutes for a coffee and happy meal . Is not for the first time when this happened.

This has to be the worst fast food store I have ever come across. Over the past few weeks this store has been visited several times, where a milk shake was requested. Each visit they have told us that the milk shake machine is not working. Asked for the mango smoothie, not available. Some of the staff are rude and argumentative. Ordered food only to have to wait 30 minutes. When asked about it, we received two different reasons from two different staff.

Last 4 times iv been in there to get a milkshake and each time there not available (this is around 9pm) Today I went to get a milkshake thinking it would be available today seeing as it was only 5pm when we arrived. Once again .....NO MILKSHAKES. It's pretty obvious they can't be asked to clean it at the end of the night. Also looking at the reviews on here it's clear that no one actually cares. That's what you get when you hire kids SORT IT OUT !

Really disappointed with this restaurant. Nearly every time I've visited, I've had something missing from my order or the food has been cold, or the order is wrong!

Visited at a lunch time, weekday, went inside for a takeaway, barely waited 5 minutes, and got my food. For the first time ever for a McDonald’s, my food was piping hot and tasty. Nothing wrong with it, everything accounted for, even the dips, which are usually omitted from every meal that comes with a dip. The McDonald’s in Exeter could learn a thing or two from this (though a shame to see the other reviews).

Worst Mc donalds, delivery took 2 hours, cold and got my order wrong, and this is not the first time, I always give a £4 tip they only come half a mile you would think they would be happy to deliver, never again.

This macdonalds is the worst. Queues tend to be very long! They get the food orders wrong so many times. The drive through has become a joke. Half an hour I was in a queue which at the time of arrival wasn't long. They keep ypu waiting at the food point even if orderbm isn't ready so queue build up behind. Very rarely do they ask you to wait in a bay. Appalling service

Probably worst McDonald's in the country. You wait long for your food, and it comes messy or something is missing. Staff is polite though

Food delivered to the tabled. Ordered over the app. The burger wrapper was dripping from what I guessing was grease but could have been something else. Bins upstairs were full and other customers were taking their rubbish downstairs to find another bin or leave it on the tabels. Toilets were also out of order.

Worst Macdonalds been too, on three occasions food always stone cold and the young lad who is a supervisor definitely needs to learn how to deal and speak to customers in a better manner.

Food is missing on every, single, order. Uber eats support is terrible and never process refunds, and also won't refund delivery fees. Just terrible experience every time I order here.

I keep trying to give this place a chance as my kids love it for a once in a while treat - but consistently they will forget half of the order or send the wrong things - most of the time the drinks are half full with no ice either - Ubereats are just as bad as they're not willing to refund items if you've reported issues "Too many times."

Do you love parking up literally every time you go to the drive thru? Love cold squashed food? Then this is the place for you. Regular meat takes 46 seconds to cool, but 20 minutes to get to you.

It's a McDonald's, so you get what you expect, it's clean and the staff are friendly, the only real problem is the traffic when it's busy

Very disappointed - again! Last two purchases at Mcdonalds Saltash (many months apart) were of poor quality. Tonight I ordered a Big Tasty medium meal. I ordered at my table but it took a while before I got my food. It was not busy at all. People who ordered and waited to collect got their food much faster than I did when I ordered table service. The chips and Big Tasty were very luke warm. I did not complain, like I did last time, because it was late (around 9:45pm) and I was hungry so I put up with it. For an over £8 meal the food should be much better than this. I doubt I will come back here again.

Even the bun was covered in grease.

No sauces ,sugar available. One entrance in and out. Place sadly not that clean.

Slowest service ever! Every time I go there I wait 15 mins for my walk in order. Terrible! Will go somewhere else from now on.

I’ve visited 3 times in the last month. On every occasion, there has been an issue with my order. 1st visit: had to go back around the drive-thru as 6 nuggets were missing. 2nd visit: the kitchen managed to put chicken in my Big Tasty despite the Chicken Tasty not being on the menu for years. 3rd visit: no dips or napkins were included in the bag, the fries were half full. Judging by other reviews, order accuracy is a major concern here.

BE VERY CAREFUL at this McDONALDS …I lost 80p. The Drive Thru Menu Board said: CrispyChicken Salad Meal £3:79. My receipt said: Crispy Chicken Salad Meal £4:59. I paid by MASTERCARD and checked then Menu Board - it still said: Crispy Chicken Salad Meal £3:79. I went back through the Drive Thru and ordered an Ice Cream and asked for the overcharge to be deducted from the Ice Cream: trying to keep it simple and easy for McDonalds. The Manager refused, saying the price is FROM £3:79 but my: Crispy Chicken Salad Meal - was £4:59. There WAS no ‘FROM’ on the Menu Board outside…it was SOLD as a MEAL with a Sprite in the photo; ie no charge for the Sprite which the ‘til had added and the manager had, I assume, ‘missed’. Check the photos and make your own mind up: sorry, no Google account to upload from but McDonalds Customer Complaints should have the Menu Board and a Copy of the Receipt on file…ask. The Crispy Salad Meal was at best ** Dry over-cooked chicken. Three slices of limp tomato. Onion slices. LOTS and LOTS of FRESH LETTUCE. I could write much more of the management, food and (excellent) cashier but maybe another time.

Absolutely appalling service! We went in to order our food just before catching the ferry to France. Service is always slow every time we order our food before we go. Ordered 20 nuggets, two fries, McCrispy, plain cheese burger and a Quarter pounder. We received salads, Quarter pounder without the bun, no nuggets and a double cheese burger (wasn't plain). It had the wrong order number on the food, we wasn't to know until we got onto the ferry to France, also the coca cola drink was flat. Absolutely disgusted and will not be using this McDonalds again! Trust is completely lost.

Lovely and well kept but the young staff look very moody and they kinda slam the food down and say enjoy. At least they cook the onions now unlike most others.

Went for a breakfast which I have never had before, ordered on the machine then waited for 5/10 minutes before getting told they don't have any stock of what I ordered and gave me two single burgers instead and no mention of a refund for the difference in value, was very disappointed

Terrible service , terrible food , not far off cold , was going to take back but too many people waiting , about a dozen . It is McDonalds. But as they go, this one is a nicer one. The staff are always on top of things. Food comes out fast and fresh. There is usually plenty of seating upstairs which means you can sit and watch people navigate the car park which is usually good entertainment for a while. There is a slightly annoying game they have for the kids which projector that you may have seen other maccas that means some times there are kids just smashing away at a table for a while , presumably in some sort of wacka-mole type game. Daftest ever invention but there you go. If you have kids and want to ignore them for a while as is the current trend, that may be your thing. The kids seem to enjoy it. They do also have a nice looking playground thing with a slide and things out the side too. So if a Maccas is what you are after, you could do worse than going to this one.

Not fine dining so what do you expect from the "atmosphere". It was however,clean and tidy with plenty of room, availability to in order upstairs or ground floor and table service also if requested . Toilets ok. Service quick and efficient with a friendly waiter bringing hot food, not lukewarm,as in some outlets. Parking can be a pain at certain times but there is a drive thru.

It is honestly the worst run restaurant. Multiple vile meals in vile conditions. Food was all freezing cold and the sprite was just tonic as I’m guessing the machine was broken. 17 pound for garbage. If they can’t even get the simple stuff correct. Would love to know the actual state of the kitchen. It’s fraud and theft but somehow the don’t get held accountable.

Terrible place to get in and out of, was stranded for 45 mins trying to get out of the car park.

Absolutely appalling dirty staff were useless, waited 25 minutes for food, which when it come was a chicken mayo with no mayo, chips undercooked and drink was flat and poured away will not be going there again

I placed 2 seperate orders one order came pretty quickly the second order took half hour by which time my first order food was cold ..someones missed food order had been on the side for the the whole time gathering the attention of flies

Order placed through McD's app at 23:42 on a Saturday night. ETA was meant to be 00:50. Received confirmation within a few minutes of driver, vehicle model and partial reg. Ten minutes before delivery, app informs driver couldn't make it and they're looking for a new driver. Two minutes after expected ETA, app informs I need to change address or arrange to pickup. After ringing the branch, they inform I have to take it up with Uber as they cannot refund me. I've called Uber twice and they promised delivery within fifteen minutes. I then get text message from new driver informing McD's cannot fulfil order as they don't accept delivery orders after 23:30. They obviously forgot to inform the app. NOW, McD's promises to refund me within 15 days. Absolutely useless.

So we ate here and decided to sit down stairs the table we sat at needed cleaning and so did the floor. Ketchup everywhere and chips. There was a member of staff standing around on his phone my husband ask him for cleaning supplies to clean the table to be informed the cleaner must be upstairs then carried on to play on his phone. He didn't think to find the cleaner to come a tidy the area. The down stairs was really unclean the bins over flowing. Maybe employ more than one cleaner

Oh terrible staff, we've been waiting for so long and other people's orders were coming through but not ours, when I asked politely why, our order was same as others (nuggets,chips), they asked me to wait, when after another 10 minutes I asked again is it because they could hear my family talk in different language, they said we will not serve you, we will pay you your money back, I said but I need a food, my little son was very hungry and we already been waiting for over 20 minutes, they said no, we will pay you back and not serve you and if you will not accept the money then we will need to call the police! Can you imagine? Just for being a foreigner... the manager should be in jail. I have reported it to the police and other authorities, including council, I am sure he will be sacked and not able to find a job for a very long time.

Just called in for breakfast. Sat outside. Served really quickly even though they we very busy. Staff great.

Ordered food via the app, took over an hour before we called them and then the app updated saying that we’ve been refunded and no order is being tracked. Zero communication on why

Food was cold, chips over salted and it was clear that it had been left on the side waiting for a while as ice had melted in the soft drinks and thickshakes were partially melted.

DO NOT use Click & Serve at this McDonald’s. We were waiting for 30 minutes outside before going in and asking about our order. After speaking to someone, they had no record of the order. Eventually we were told it was being prepared. Another 35 minutes went by before we got the food, over an hour wait time from ordering to getting the food. The food was good but the service was incredibly slow. Unfortunately this is true of a lot of McDonald’s nowadays, when you have so many options for ordering and not enough facilities and staff to fulfil the orders!

Waited 30 minutes for our order to find out that they had no red onions for the limited time BBQ McCrispy. Asked for ordinary onions and was told they couldn’t add them due to messing up stock levels. Checked that we had everything to find out we didn’t have any dips that we ordered. Was told they didn’t have any ketchup (wasn’t told when they gave us the order). Then drove off as we had a takeaway to then find out that they only put 1 beef patty in the double quarter pound cheeseburger. Was too far away to be bothered to go back for the sake of a patty. Worst McDonald’s I’ve been to in a long time.

I placed an order for my son at 2101. It is now 2339 and I’m still waiting for the order to be delivered. This is the first time a delivery has taken over TWO hours. No contact from the courier. Phoned their helpline and I got an excuse saying he picked up the wrong order. I find that hard to believe. I was tracking him on the app and he was nowhere near my address. I shall be contacting the manager in the morning!!!

Hottest day of the year and the staff at this McDonald’s don’t feel like offering a McFlurry, an item on their menu. Probably cleaning the machines or some other usual excuse but at peak time you’d expect them to be able to supply a menu item.

Ordered through uber forgot children's happy meals , so have 3 children hungry 1 is disabled , staff on phone can't do much about . Food was very slow to arrive, and the cheeseburger looked like it had been stood on. But it was so busy here this evening, those poor young people serving were being pulled in all directions, and not all customers were being kind. It’s cheap fast food, not fine dining, and the pace was relentless. 5 stars for the frontline staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Only the McDonald's in the UK that needs 150 waiting bays. No matter what you order, 7 days a week you will be sent to a waiting bay. Single cheese burger.... parking bay 3 please.

Waiter didn't bring sugar the second time,not sure no condiment on display is a good idea,as having 2 ask all the while.

Pulled up at the drive in ordered paid, next window, received drink at McFlurry mini, can you got to parking area, by the time we got the food and ate the hot stuff the McFlurry was a runny liquid, if you can’t fulfill the hot right away don’t hand over any of the order!

Tried here twice this month during the 24hr opening. Once at 04.30 and was told they were only serving drinks and then at 03.30 , this time no one at the ordering section. Drove to first window, no one there. Drove to the second window and just saw someone heading towards the first window. Reversed back, no one there. Is there any point opening 24hrs on a Saturday night. Drove away again.

I don't usually write reviews but I had a lady called fay who served me this evening after the computer system had gone down. Considering the issue at the time, she was incredibly friendly, apologetic for the system issues and an absolute credit to your team. I accidentally threw out the receipt so I couldn't leave her a review where ever its meant to go but hopefully this is seen and her positive attitude and customer service is acknowledged and prasied 😁

The food was horrible. The tolites and tables were clean. The happy meal toys were nice. The restaurant look was okay. Some staff were kind and some were strict and not kind.

It was empty both the store and the drive thru...but a breakfast muffin still took a while....and wasn't really hot (so I assume I hadn't waited for one to be cooked). But it isn't designed or priced to be amazing I guess

Ordered on uber one drink was missing, the other less than half full with no ice, burger stone cold missing half the ingredients, ordered 2 large fries and one was missing the other was in a small bag and just like the rest of the food stone cold. Tried to call up multiple times no answert then eventually just straight to voice mail.

Drive through on the way home from Tom Jones arrived 23:18 ordered food paid and asked to pull up in waiting spot, 23:34 asked where our food was as loads of cars had come and gone and still we were waiting. The young staff couldn’t really say what had happened I asked for my money back and was given £12 even though I only paid £9.58p for our order. Great way to run a business!

Just off the A38 this restaurant has lots of parking and outside seating. Great stop on your way in and out of Cornwall.

Got ignored at one drive through lane so reversed out and into the other. Ordered breakfast, had to park up and wait. Ultra greasy and badly put together. Not impressed

Travelled down from Hampshire and stopped on the way though ordered 3 cheese burgers on pickles or mustard only go 2 with pickles and mustard ordered à hat trick meal got a cold burger drink no chips was told to pull into bay 2 while they wait for my whole order " what to defrost " trying calling some yound girl answered then hung up tried to call back 29 times and got no answer so will calling up there to sort it out

Don’t think they’ve ever got my order 100% correct. Forgot straws and receipt so couldn’t take back incorrect order.

Asked politely to have my McFlurry sauce swapped from chocolate to caramel. Was told bluntly no due to Natasha’s Law which seems like a misapplication of the law as I am pretty sure it requires businesses to be transparent with their allergens and ingredients on prepackaged food. Extra star for the geeza who sorted us out with the sauce at the final window.

It's a McD in a retail park with a lot of outdoor seating in a shaded area. Cleaner than most. Most conveniently placed Just off the A38. Nice for a quick snack on the way home.

Slowest service ever at this branch of McDonald's, everything we used theseive through they park you up even for a burger & chips meal, today there were no cars Quedgeley in drive thru and inside was pretty empty yet still had to park & wait for a quater pounder & chips, never get this at any other McDonald's unless they are really busy obviously, lots of people have said the same to me about service, either franchisee not putting in enough staff, or staff are lazy/useless, place is a joke and won't be going there again.

I tryed to contact them multiple different ways about my delivery they messed it up so bad and all I’m getting is silence or being hung up on I tryed to explain that I have multiple allergies and I can’t eat the food that was given to me even tho I ordered it right I’ve been told it’s my fault

It's great for kids in the summer with a play area

Asked for no cheese in my big mac. All done no complaints. But the Fanta! The taste was all wrong and it had no fizz. Very disappointed.
