Mcdonalds Longton in Stoke-on-Trent

Gave up using delivery service as food is always missing so decided to go in tonight and order got it home and yep my burger missing now it cant be that hard yo put 3 burgers 3 fries and 3 cokes into a bag yet again Ive ended up with no burger its shocking and not funny in the slightest this has tobe the worst Mcdonalds in this area. Answer me how you managed the 3 fries and 3 cokes but no third burger I shall bemaking an official complaint now as I am sick of being mugged off my you!

Disgusting, ordered from just eat.food came late.minus 3 ice creams ,and one coke.food was stone cold.will never ever order from this brain dead place again.

Absolutely fuming. These are absolutely terrible at getting your order right unless U go in store and even then it's not always right! This is the FIFTH time this has happened where they've missed half of my food from my order and I've lost out on money. It's disgusting. I didn't even get a receipt today to prove that I don't have what I ordered.

Ordered on the app, when the food arrived on time my burger and fries were stone cold, when I called them I got an arrogant response from a manager, this isn’t the first time I’ve had an issue never going again. Will be contacting head office!

Appalling Mcslow service. Stinking attitude from the plums that work there. 30 mins stuck in drive through queue and not even an apology. Then as usual the milkshake machine is out of service, and the food lukewarm. They should lose their franchise!

Ordered a takeaway..food arrived stone cold and I ordered a plain cheeseburger..came with no cheese and covered in gherkins..this is not the first time I have had wrong orders and awful food ….Never again..total waste of money, tried to ring but no answer….terrible all round

Why do I bother. All too often the drive through in a morning is either shut or they have no hot drinks. You also can wait an eternity for someone to acknowledge you are there. Once again this morning the drive through is closed. I keep saying I'm not going to go any more. We'll that's it now. Never again, I'm done!!!

Had a drive through it wasn't busy inside but still had to wait 20 minutes for my food The burger looked like it was chuck together I asked for a plane cheeseburger as well and it came with all the sauce

Absolutely abysmal. Ordered 2 meals and 1 kids meal, got sent to the Order bays, two cars behind us got their food BEFORE US!!! As well as another 7 that came straight through the drive through. No communication what so ever. No Apology!!! Waited well over 30 minutes. Wouldn't even give the place 1 star. I'd get the wait if it was busy but even the restaurant hardly anyone was in there. Staff need to pull their fingers out or need to stop employing kids!!

Young lad serving on drive thru was ignorant and rude …didn’t even bother to pass the card machine out for me to pay by card …also despite all the signs being up regarding hat they should do around his working area he ignored them all?!! The food was cold …a £22 order no less The pop was flat and the Philly burger missing the sauce I was already on the dual carriageway passed the stoke ground when we started to tuck in which was too late to time round and go back however it doesn’t excuse them my wrath on here at all Worst maccies we have ever had and we certainly would not recommend them nor return there ever Shockingly bad and let’s hope the franchise owner gets a grip of the shoddy service and food provision

Where to start?!! Not greeted at the drive in for at least 2 minutes! Then the welcome was less than welcome! No welcome to McDonald’s!!! Just are you using the app? When we arrived at the window, again had to wait to be greeted?!? The lad said -“happy meal”? “Crispy chicken?” Which we said yes to. “Cash or card?” Card was our form of payment yet the lad didn’t even put the machine forward to make it easier to pay! “Next window” after a wait we arrived at the collection window to be greeted with two girls “staff” playing football the other side! Again no “hello” Drinks handed to us with no straws so we waited for the food before asking! Good then followed and we asked for straws to be asked are they not in the bag?!? (Errr you packed it so surely you know?!?) Straws and napkins were asked for, which we then received! The food - Burgers (Philly) stone cold and just very disappointing Chips cold Chilli bites were nice but no sauce! Happy meal cold! Drinks FLAT OVER ALL A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WHICH WE WILL NOT REPEAT AT THIS MC DODDGY

Worst Maccies experience I’ve ever had… after ordering our own food we watched as another customer had to go into the kitchen to get the attention of the employees (as he’d been waiting for ages for them to come to the service hatch!) and he told them he’s been given the wrong order, perfectly acceptable to ask for them to fix his order! To then be told “you’re not speaking to a manager like that” and given a refund not offered his food I think they were too lazy to fix his order as he had a fair amount! Then we waited 20 minutes for our food (a cappuccino, fries and apple pie… hardly an extensive order) meanwhile about 4 other customers were waiting to pay cash and yet another customer came in with the wrong order being given to them! Absolutely disgusting for a supposedly “fast food” restaurant the managers saw the customers waiting and walked away most of the workers were stood around talking to each other or hugging! Absolutely avoid at all cost!

My hubby went through the drive through. Ordered 2 double big mac meals. Medium. A triple cheeseburger. A filet of fish. 1 of the double big macs and the triple cheeseburger had loads of pepper on them. My hubby likes pepper but even he thought it was too much. And I hate pepper so could not eat my double big mac. Not happy at all. Was really looking forward to it as recently came out of hospital.

Customer services terrible Ordered a meal and was told to wait around on the car park, could not do that as other drivers were parked in the drive through and there was sone unhappy customers with the wait There was a macdonald worker who had the most terrible attitude and was rude to everyone who asked how long their meals would be, these young workers need training on customer services and told how to communicate to customers, keep away hence the one star.

I love going here because it’s local and the burger is delicious also the mango refresher is good the people were really nice

Terrible mcdonalds always get something missing. Hash browns we threw away as over cooked. Even after refurb still aren't efficient lady at the tannoy kept repeating is that everything even when we said can we have a minute. Then to be told go to next window when we were still trying order. Meir one is alot better if your looking for nice hot food

Ordering food is a complete nightmare. Orders never arrive or when they do nearly always wrong or incomplete. This is happens at the drive thru, ubereats, just eat.

Just popped down to Longton and tried to nip in McDonald's. Was told by the staff member on the door there was a queue to use the take away service and a 20 minute wait. On looking inside there was no one in the store apart from a load of delivery drivers waiting to pick up orders. This happened throughout lockdown we couldn't go in to order take away but 20 delivery drivers were. I'm sorry McDonald's but you really are getting your priorities wrong and I've got more of a life than to wait 20 minutes for a burger.

Ordered breakfasts at 8.42 via Just Eat, delivery at 9.42. Apparently delivered at 9.44- nope not at our house!!! Can’t get through to the restaurant, won’t answer the phone, oh and apparently doesn’t open until 11am!!!!! Just eat- useless!!! Taken money, won’t help!! McDonald’s at Longton- no shock really as the place should be shut down!!!!

not very helpful the app is ok but the staff seem to take care of the delivery people and forget the rest i was there for 25 mins watching people with numbers hire than my own being served when i did get served it was the wrong food and what they did give me was a sloppy mess at the bottom of a quarter pounder deluxe meal box which turns out to be a big mac ffs i hate big macs never again

I can’t believe I’m writing this. If you’re reading it you might think this is a wind up. It isn’t....Skipping over the staff who are more interested in chatting to their colleagues and simply turn their back and ignore your requests for basic things, like a receipt, and a napkin, the main complaint is explained next. I should point out that this was a drive thru purchase due to the current situation and the restaurant itself was closed. When I arrived at 9:50pm I didn’t realise that the whole place closed in 10mins. I was probably the last but one car to go through. In hindsight this is probably key to the service I received. My Quarter Pounder with Cheese had no Quarter Pounder. Yes, I did type that. NO Burger. Ketchup, yes. Onion, Yes. Gherkin, sadly yes. Cheese, yes, 2 slices perfectly arranged at 90degrees to each other either side of fresh air. I got a cold cheese and ketchup sandwich. The slow realisation as you remove the top to flick off the gherkin and think “that’s fresh the cheese hasn’t even melted...oh wait...there’s something missing”. When I attempted to return it had just turned 22:00. Cones over the drive through lane. No access. Staff leaving. Now we’ve all had crap food at McDonalds. I’ve never gone with high expectations. If you’re lucky it’s hot, and vaguely resembles the polished image on the poster. If your really lucky the usually limp fries have been placed upright in the bag and not sprinkled like a dressing over the rest of the contents. I’ve never ever complained and just accept it as what it is cheep crap fast food. However no burger on a burger is taking the....burger. This wasn’t an oversight, it wasn’t because they were busy, it was because the staff don’t give a dam. It’s down to poor training, poor recruitment, poor management. The staff were having a laugh, they probably chuckled as they shut the box. It was nearly home time and they weren’t about to delay their exit by reheating a burger. If you need a quick on the move crap meal don’t go here. Go somewhere that appreciates your money. Like a BP petrol station.

If I could give this a minus star I would! Staff are all about 15 and useless! They have no customer service skills whatsoever. The table absolutely stank of dirty dishcloth. God knows what it had been wiped with. Filthy place. Breakfast absolutely full of grease. Pay attention to the fact its had more negative reviews than anything and avoid at all costs. Dread to think what we ate in this dirty dump

Visited at probably the busiest time of the week- Saturday lunchtime. Swift service, even though the cafe was packed. Only adverse comment would be that two of the factories in the gents were taped off as out of order.

We stopped at this McDonald's for a pit stop and to get my 1 half year ready for bed before we reached our destination and the manager was so helpful she managed to warm some milk for my daughter as I completely forgot to pack some she my daughter can have her bottle then bed she was kind and there was a mix up and I was given a bottle of the happy meal milk aswell as the warmed up milk i offered to pay for the extra milk but the manager simply said it didn't need paying such good staff thank you.I didn't catch the ladies name but she was so lovely xx

Called here for a quick meal on our way out with the children and had the misfortune to meet McDonalds worst ever employee, think her name was Melody, she was rude and down right obnoxious just because we queried our order, if I was the manager there she would have to go, good job the food was good!!!

Food was delivered quickly to our table and staff were very friendly. Food was really hot and fresh the lobby area was very clean all the staff made us feel welcome on our arrival the toilets were very clean and tidy

Once again another franchise were staff are sloppy. Our order came cold , chips and burger had no warmth at all. The second offering was better. However I say the manager taste one of the chips and reject them for chips that had just come out of the fryer. If MacDonalds close down it will be because area managers don't insist on the franchises to maintain quality.

I went to mcdonald's in longton at half 11 thursday night, i live 5 minutes down the road and didn't get home until 10 past midnight. To top it off the food was freezing and as apologises we got 2 mcflurrys that seemed like they had been sat there for a good half an hour, rude and unapologetic staff and will definitely not be returning in a rush.

A man holding a mop took my food off of me and ate it. A kid who looked about 12 called Dylan said he didn't see the incident, which didn't shock me as he was completely clueless.

I ordered a simple beefburger, got screamed at to collect my bleeping burger, then a young man named "Dylan" (i knew this as he had a name tag on), was sweeping by my feet and knocked the meal out of my hands, i then went on to ask for a replacement burger which was refused, i demanded a refund, also refused then i asked to speak to the manager, again refused so then i rung the branch manager and asked for a refund still refusing i began to eat everyone else's lunch in a madness to gain back what dignity i had left, do not advise!!

Plenty of free parking on the retail park so don't try parking on the limited restaurant car park. 24 hours with drive thru. Rarely get order wrong and have good stock compared to other Mcdonalds. Fast and efficient with rarely having to park in a bay either. Standard Mcdonalds without the typical negatives you come to expect.

Me & my partner came through the drive-thru this morning. We had to park up and wait for our food. Fair enough. The drive through was busy. However the service went downhill when we eventually received our food. My partner ordered a double sausage and egg mcmuffin but when the woman who bought it to the car (supervisor?) he was given a single. He questioned this & her response was disgusting. 'well you'll have to check.' which he did and he was confirmed correct. 'yes I can see it's a single' was her reply. Absolutely no effort of an apology. Her attitude was disgusting. Customer service was none existent & we were made to feel like an inconvenience even though it was their error. Will give this branch a wide berth from now on. Staff training on how to treat customers with some respect wouldn't go amiss. Sort it out McDonald's Longton.

almost every morning my hubby goes there to get me a mcmuffin meal with Hot Chocolate. Although the food is passable ( but not a pats h on American outlets ) the Hot Chocolate is like dishwater. Even when he asks them to make sure its properly mixed.

Went for coffee and meal. Food was quick, the place was clean and staff seemed nice. Overall an average experience. Nothing bad to say about it

Not the best if the chain. We generally get a take out as they have lots of balloons and I am allergic to the so it dose not cater for everyone. If we were to go in my wheelchair Isi the way of other users which make me uneasy. Good for "normal" people

Average restaurant. Often full of loud, ignorant teens taking up tables despite buying nothing. This is ignored by staff. The signature burgers are delicious, but most of the other food is thrown togetehr quickly, usually falling out of the bun etc when served. The ordering system is also a nightmare, only really a benefit when using the table service, as waiting around in an argos style queue gets difficult on busy days in the cramped area in front of the tills.

Yet again drive through, get home and items missing. Not the first time and obviously not the last time. Usually go to Meir because of this being the norm but in a rush tonight and as they are situated closer to my address gave them another chance, don't know why I bothered. Really badly managed as far as I can see, obviously never check the meal with receipt before they hand over, complete waste of time.

How hard can it be to do 5 ice creams or mc flurrys as they are called 3 toffee crisps one dairy milk and one crunchy was the order but we got 4 toffee crisps and only 2 thirds full are these places doing that bad they have to short measure their customers

Drove up. Ordered. Got food. Drove to other side of busy retail park. Food cold. Not just cold, suspected the burger with cheese had been assembled cold as the cheese slice was still solid. I'm not csi but if the burger is hot, the cheese melts. Went on mcds website. Posted a complaint with receipt number. 3 weeks later I got a letter and 2 x £5 vouchers. I'd rather have had a hot burger at my first visit but they responded well.

Fed up with purchasing via drive through, getting home and wrong order in the bags. Have complained to the head office over and over. Simply no excuse. What is the point of being asked to confirm your order is correct on the screen and then they don't service the order correctly. So annoying.

This morning wrong coffee order, in the late evening 9 minutes for double cheese burgers, no remorse from the manager he had drive through orders to deal with, previous month it took 15 minutes for chicken legend meal, last time I use this particular McDonald's

Fast food? ?? Not from this branch of McDonald's. The new order service is terrible, first you have to order food then wait around 20-25 minutes for the food to be ready. The bins were overflowing, I won't be using this branch again. Just awful.

Seriously annoyed with this place, I have been here many time due to work being around the corner. On this visit we had to wait for our (breakfast) so we sat down after 8 minutes some girl shouted a number out and stuck food on the counter and started to moan loud enouth that we could here that the three men in the corner won't pick our food up after anouth 5 minutes it was brought to us by an older woman who was cleaning I can honestly say the young staff have no manners what so ever and don't know the first thing about service (I must apologise though I did say somthing to a member of staff which was wrong too but that showed how annoyed I was) my local McDonald's is never like this and the staff are always willing to help what a shame about Longton

I live in Longton and thought all McDonalds were the same until I went to Longton Branch.Order wrong,service terrible,food cold,Seems nobody gives a dam.Do these people want a job,I go burger king,may have to travel,but the food is edible.

Everytime I visit they get the order wrong or I get half portions, the staff don't seem to want to be there, miserable as sin and with no sense of urgency. It's supposed to be a fast food restaurant & how difficult can it be to read an order and out the correct food in the bag. It concerns me as what if someone has a food intolerance or allergy and the order is wrong?

I arrived at 7.00 am and was greated in a plesant way so was happy with the service.

I visited this store to yet again be extremely disappointed the level of cleanliness was disgusting, the floor and food preparation area were filthy but the best was the Flurry machine with all debris dripping down the front for all multitude of customers to see. But wait for it the highlight was the dirty tea towel rolled up and stragically placed in the drip tray breeding bacteria by the second.
