McDonald's in Stoke-on-Trent

Whenever I come here my food is always cold and never fresh! It is the worst McDonald’s worse than the festival site one the staff have no brain and don’t know what they are doing it’s ran by monkeys

Usually wouldn’t complain, but TWICE in a row they’ve somehow managed to mess up the double Big Mac burger. First I asked for no sauce, I received only sauce on the burger and no lettuce etc. Then on the second “double” Big Mac, I received a single. I’m not being funny but something is wrong every time I go to this particular McDonald’s. Nearly 7 months pregnant so I’m really frustrated, I just want the meal I pay for. Sort it out.

Yet again ordered a delivery and items missing ,another call to uber eats. Nowhere online to complain to mcdonalds direct no that they are bothered. Supposed to sitting down after a long day only to be on the phone .

Ordered 20 chicken nuggets only got 14 . To far away to drive back once home .

I waited 15 minutes in a bay for my bacon roll meal, when I got home I realised I was given a meal with egg on it, I cant eat it as it had egg on it, tried to telephone but no body answers disgusting service why bother

We popped in for breakfast with 3 young children, I wanted to thank Julie who was working this morning, she went out of her way to be kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The best experience we've ever had in a mcdonalds!

We order from this McDonald’s as it is the closest one to us however every time there is always missing food items and the food is stone cold, chips are always horrible and rock hard. When we try to use the app to explain we’ve had missing items the app doesn’t work!

So fed up of this store. It's the closest to our home so we go here to get back save the food going cold. However you go and they without a doubt are always missing something from your order. We tried ordering off uber but have the same problem. Waste of money and waste of time, normally I will check my bags when exiting the drive through. One time I haven't and missing food again. Try to call? Don't bother they don't answer the phone. Absolute joke

The food was lovely, good temperature and served quickly. Mel the manager and the rest of staff on shift were fab.

Was served by the shift manager, Melissa last Tuesday. Service was faultless, nothing was too much trouble for her.

Melissa the manager is so rude part of my order was missing but she rudely told me it wasn't as she prepped it but I had a burger meal missing...no customer service skills ...

Really slow. Seems to prioritise My deliveries over walk ins. 20 mins waittfor a cheese burger and chips is too long.

if i could rate this 0 stars i would. waited 25 mins for food and when i did receive it most of the food was missing and cold. i’ve been here numerous times and its been horrific everytime.

Food was cold due to being left on the side and was missing items not one member of staff spoke to customers, normally friendly staff but these made me feel like it was a inconvenience

Foods normally cold even on collection and soooo much rubbish behind the counter on the floor..i.m guessin theyre told when environmental health are visiting ..they should go at 9pm huh

We popped in here between appointments while in Stoke (we’re from Derby) and we received the warmest welcome from an employee (so sorry I didn’t get her name!) who kept our 2 year old little boy entertained with crafts, dinosaur masks etc, an absolute natural with children and you could tell she just enjoyed her job, speaking to customers, keeping the restaurant tidy etc. the food was spot on!

Had food delivered as we wer feeling a little under the weather, was all cold and meat on the Big Mac overcooked and dry. Missing fries and drink. It took one hour to come and was £26!! Pretty expensive meal and was the worst I’ve ever had. Not easy to make a complaint online anymore ! Which means you have to call. Joke.

Long waits every time we visit and the amount of times they get the order wrong is crazy

Friendly service ,can be a bit hectic in there when it's busy so we always choose to eat in the car ,I'd give it 4 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Can't believe the number of scathing reviews but maybe I am lucky. Been to pick up a takeaway order in person on about 9 occasions while I've been staying with a friend a few mins walk away and the only inconvenience has been when the shakes were unavailable. The food has always been up to scratch and the order correct; I ask for my burger without cheese and they never overlook that like I've experienced at some branches before. A lot of reviews, granted, are based on JustEat/UberEats experiences and I ruled those out since we're so close by and being close by doesn't rule out driver-based errors! We're happy.

3/4 times we order from them, they forget part of our meals. We ordered today and they forgot the whole order of £44, 15 items missing out of 18 and gave us 2 drinks and an ice cream instead. Shockingly bad

Please check your food before it goes out. Almost never get through right order. Shambolic and idiotic

Worst place ever to order my order came to about 40£ and some of the food was missing and cold like it came out of a fridge never ordering again

Worst McDonalds in Stoke, by some margin. Staff are often (not always) rude, orders regularly missing minor items. Biggest issue is the persistent long waiting times. Regularly 15-20 minutes at the drive thru, the car park is regularly filled with customers waiting for their food to be bought out. Festival park branch is a few minutes away and way better.

Stood at the till and waited a ridiculous amount of time to be served as staff looked at me and continued to stand chatting. Food wasn't great had clearly been sitting a while.

Some weird gimp comes with my food and slats it on the table as if she doesn’t work at maccies herself the mug

Ordered at drive through. Arrived at collection window, given drinks, 1 coffee, 1 orange. Asked to wait in bay 1, someone bring out when ready. Whilst waiting had at least 10 other vehicles collect their order and drive away as well as at least 5 go eat delivery drivers come out loaded with orders. After 10 mins waiting, went inside to query my order to see someone pick it up off the side, open bag, and hand it to me. No appology for the wait and obviously, even though live 2 mins away, food and coffee as good as cold. Bloody abismal service. Shall not move away from collection window in future.

Manager Ollie was lovely, enthusiastic and helpful. Communicated with the whole team. Delicious!!!

Used drive-through my car ended up getting hit with the card reader by the staff member today on my wing mirror. Apart from that food was good. Was no need to use my wing mirror of my car as a rest.

Just been through the drive thro for a big mac and a happy meal, got them home and the happy meal was wrong. There was only two cars in front of me, how can you get one meal in three wrong. I've used a Macdonald's in Shangai where nobody spoke English and they got my order correct. Got to be the worst Macdonald's ever

Don’t use this McDonalds as they are just incompetent whether picking up or ordering via the app for delivery. 8 out of 10 orders you place have something wrong or missing… this morning my breakfast, last time my chicken Big Mac minus the lettuce was made with beef burgers… was still the customer order minus letter and was is a chicken Big Mac box. You’ll get Diet Coke when you ordered normal Coke. When they make a mistake they don’t even seem to care or be sorry for it. If ordering on the app for delivery you have to go to Uber who just refund it, but it takes 15 days for the money to get back in your account! Just don’t bother going there… either drive to Festival Park or into town or go grab an oatcake!

Awful service!!! Things are always missing but they will never admit to their fault or even apologise and then you struggle so much to get a refund for the food THEY forgot to pack because they are idiots!!! Hate this branch!!!

Arrived shortly after 9.00pm on Monday the 15th of April and ordered two cheese burgers and a Quarter pounder with cheese and were directed to the collection window. We were greeted with a grunt and asked to wait while our food was prepared. No further interaction until I food was shoved in to the car with nothing more than another grunt. No apology for the wait or thanks for your custom, . The terrible customer service was then exacerbated by luke warm food so no idea why were made to wait. On the upside the order was correct which is something of an anomaly for this site. I travel extensively and can safely say that this probably the worst MacDonald’s I have the misfortune of visiting.

Good food and order right first timre but dined in and rather unclean restaurant.

Its another time in a row that my order is not complete.....! Nobady answer the phone. My order was worth £30 and i have got £15.... its rubish.... Never again

Kids bringing e scooters in store , group of girls sneakly vaping , just seemed a hang out for kids non of them eating staff just ignoring them ,had table service but ended up getting my own , couldn't wait to get out

Ordered via drive thru, the girl was extremely short with us. Half of the items on the menu were not in stock. When we took our order home, we realised that items we ordered were missing, were not as requested (for example, a plain cheeseburger that was not plain) or not to spec, such as sauces missing from burgers etc. I will not be returning to this particular location, and I’m half-tempted to avoid the franchise altogether. I certainly would not recommend it to anyone else.

If it was possible to leave a review with minus stars I would, poor poor service. Food not available, order wrong, food cold and a 15min + wait through the drive through for the experience. And if you ask for a refund they want the food back. Absolute joke.

Quite a long wait for food. Items missing and burgers rubbery and room temp at best. Items missed for a second time from same order after being requested again. Manager/supervisor spoke to workers in an inappropriate, unprofessional manner. Food sitting on the side waiting for delivery drivers.

Ordered food on the app for click and serve, waited 30 mins and went in as it was really quiet. Food was sitting in the cold and drinks were VERY old. Once I got my food it was cold and wrong so went in to complain. Chips were half full and the iced frappé had full ice chunks and felt like they barely got blended then to find out the drinks still wasn’t probably done. I had to go in 3 times before they got my order right then to find out I had no dips or straws. Absolutely vile never going here again and I would NEVER suggest here as a place to come get McDonalds. Horrible place

I been to the restaurant today the I asked the manager who is called ZOE she said she not can do anything about it than please where I go and make a complain she said nothing I think she needs to go away from this restaurant or take retired and bad language she use to everybody in the house plz change her before all go down

I never seen anyone like her I mean the managers ZOE omg she is absolutely 💯 % crazy I ever see.. fist think is fast she is to OLD for mcdonald's and she needs to go where is small busy or take retirement.. I been to the restaurant asking for help because I got food allergy but she can't help me with anything before knowing what I got..? Food OK. But service is very low and bad. The manager will not come out and sort out complaints and some of the staff never smile.

Cold ,missing chips over charged poor service

Absolutely DREADFUL. USELESS human being of a MANAGER and TOTALLY IRRESPONSIBLE. USELESS Uber driver only brought me half my order, not willing to help and blaming McDonald’s for the error. So I go into McDonald’s to collect the rest of my order (only 5 mins away) and the manager refuses me the food which is sat there on the counter and tells me to claim a refund and re-order through the app - in which I do, and guess what - my food arrives freezing cold! It’s these useless people that tarnish what should be an enjoyable straight forward fast food experience.

Typical McDonalds, not impressed that the disabled parking doesn't seem to be monitored neither of vehicles in the bays outside the restaurant had blue badges on display when we visited.

Near by where I live. Sometimes have got order missed as in no bacon in breakfast, crispy chicken replaced by chicken mayo burger but have been charged accordingly. I usually order frappe since then.

2 weeks in a row they've messed up my orders. Last weekend there was 6 hashbrowns missing and they gave us single mcmuffin meals and charged for doubles. This week, im missing 2 cheese flat breads, and both meals are single, again! I don't know what type of retar*s they employ at McDonald's, but it needs sorting. As if you need to sit at the drive-thru and empty the bag just to check you have the right order is beyond me, but im going have to start doing it as the staff have the competency of a potato. It happens that much that I believe they're trained to steal items you've paid for to make as much profit as possible

Food sometimes is cold so make sure you check your order as they intend to miss a lot of items that you order not the first time am missing my fries or my burger

Probably one of the worst mcdonalds around. Lucky if your food isn't stacked sideways and all over the bag. Always missing things off. Order 4 mcflurry's and all of them different amounts. Staff randomly choose dips for you, but that's ok cause they never put them in the bag. Delivery drivers putting dirty delivery bags on the counter, with drivers leaning over and grabbing other customers orders. Regularly getting deliveries smelling of stale tobacco cause drivers are smoking with your food in the car. OVERALL, JUST AVOID AND DRIVE MILES TO THE NEXT ONE.

cold food delivered, Manager 'Brad' refused to refund and blamed Urber Eats for not picking up the food on time. Seems there were bags and bags of food on the side waiting to be collected going cold. As such, its not Urber - its Mcdonalds sending out cold food and passing the blame on.

Caramel latte was nice to start with but very lumpy at the end, not pleasant Lots of queues as normal, with lots of deliveries being collected

Well the other poor reviews are totally correct. Teenage staff with no management direction no customer service training and above all....NO MANNERS....one of the worst McDonald's I have ever experienced.

Don't order here if you actually want to eat and get what you have paid for. Never ever get my complete and correct order. No one answers the phone. You pay for food you don't get and no one there cares or answers. When I emailed the them directly to complain that the staff aren't completing the orders before sealing the bag they reply I got was phone Uber eats as has nothing to do with them. Not Uber staff packing the food. Sadly not the only McDonald's in this area who can't pack the order accurately.

This has to be the worst branch around. Like others have said they only care about the delivery drivers and everyone has to wait. Now, whist waiting isn’t that much of an issue, it the food was good at the end then it would be ok, but EVERY TIME, something is missing of the food is freezing cold. I get sick and tired of complaining to the HQ to be told that our concerns will get passed on. It has no affect and nothing changes. Place staffed by kids just after pocket money, and managed by stuck up tools just a bit older with no customer relationship manners.

Food seemed like it was kept warm for a while, not freshly made......staff were pleasant . The only reason we didn't complain was that we were really hungry!

Uncooked fries, sloppy burger. My daughter's comment was "No love went into the preparation of this! ". Of course we were home by then. Once again proving McDonald's UK sucks.
