Table order cold chips wait long enough for order then even longer for replacement chiips .by time get warm chips wraps cold not very enjoyable.as usal .more intress in deliverys not worth no stars short staff looks like put hot chips on top of cold chips alot of time

The food is generally delicious and good value compared to some other places. The service has gone downhill. The waiting times seem to be getting longer. A few weeks ago, I ordered breakfast at 10.30am and I was still waiting at 11.15am. If I hadn't said anything, I don't think I would have got any food at all. I think they are spending too much time on doing orders for Just Eat and Deliveroo and need to concentrate more on the customers they have in store.

Bad bad bad Mcd.. I haven't seen a Mcd like this before. Staffs are really rude and not understanding the customers. We ate food for around £35 but haven't got tissue or anything with that. When I went and ask about it, staff became rude ( a lady staff).. Please don't do like this to customers.

I wouldn't go here for food as when u buys sumthing make sure to take ur receipt as the lobby staff will have the receipt and fill in the survey to big up them a d the staff there not only that I wouldn't work there even if u do lock up ur wifes and husbands girlfriends and boyfriends as there all shaggying each other in there

Whoever was making burgers at 1440 on 05/03/25 did a great job making my cheeseburgers. I put extra pickles on the kiosk and the burger was full of them. It's the only time any Mcdonald's has actually put extra pickles in so thank you

No ketchup available and they are charging for ketchup. First mcdonald I go in the UK that we get charged and never have the bbq or ketchup for customer .

Food ordered waited half an hour which it was sitting on a tray in the back food cold took it back ignored by 3 young staff members asked if they would change it politely but with attitude I expect warm food it is payed for

I think McD is only place in uk where if you have 1.5 pound. Then you're tummy can be filled by their chicken Wrap which costs 1.4.i think... Affordable and fast Plus unlimited sauce, (KFC charges for this sauce too)

Too much dirty, a tray received from counter full with mayonnaise from previews customer, mean they don't wash they tray, just little wipe Never come again

Can be dead in there & takes 10 minutes to just get a coffee off a machine that makes it. I paied nearly £4 for a large galaxy coffee to get a coffee that tastes exsacly like the carmal lattee.. I didn't get the squirty cream. Or the chocolate or any of the stuff it's ment to come with. & my large cup was half full & luke warm. Nice one. GUTTED

Food is standard for what you get it’s just maccies You know what ur having and you know how it is so that wasn’t my problem They had a mouse running around and for me that is a massive no when coming to the food industry. Just get set up with a local Rodent catcher and just set some traps or something. Very disturbing to see honestly where food is produced.

Had my Christmas Eve dinner here after some last minute shopping, food was amazing service was great, I ended up getting sore because of my disability and sad because I was eating by myself and an employee called jake saw me having a rough time and kept me company until it passed, thank you so much for cheering me up :) you made my Christmas!

Called in for a bigmac meal to sit in . What a big mac mistake no where to sit full of delivery drivers on the seats that would be available to sit on . The tray what my meal came on was dirty . The toilets omg tissues on the floor with blood on .wet floor .never ever would I waste my money on a disgusting place again.

The toilets were the dirtiest I have ever encountered went to the disabled ones down stairs there was urine all over the seat and floor no toilet roll left it stunk and as I had to go before my food came it put me of eating mu food I will NEVER return to this branch service was chaotic too

I visited the Hanley McDonald's and found the food and service was great...but what touched me more was that a customer was in a real state of high anxiety and was crying and struggling..when a blonde lady employee went up to the customer and really bought him down from his confused state with her very kind words and understanding she was absolutely amazing with this customer and a credit to your crew .

Number one contender for the worst McDonald’s in the UK, would definitely avoid if you want a decent McDonald’s, nuggets were brown (due to very old oil) and drinks were half full coz “ice machine is broken”???

They gave me the wrong order ther was a singular pickle in my burger unflavoured the chicken nuggets were dry and my milkshake was a medium when i ordered a large the chips were more like potatoes and the wrap was open

Filthy restaurant - food Luke warm - ketchup pump dispenser empty, I went to the counter and explained this to the server who tried to charge me for a sachet of ketchup! I asked to speak to the manager who sorted this out.... Worst Mac's I've visited. AVOID

Generally untidy alot of the time, i just go Festival Retail Park Mcdonald's or the Fenton one.

The tables are dirty food and drink splatters everywhere on the seats and on the table don't not come here!

Food is as expected from this facility.The service was excellent in trying ,challenging circumstances.Unwelcome non diners make the experience unpleasant.

Cleaning is missing quite bad specially toilets.

One of the four ordering points was off, as well as another's card reader failing before you even got the chance to pay. Service was slightly slower than you'd expect from a McDonalds but this was at a peak time, though some of the staff clearly wanted to be anywhere else. Can't go wrong with the food though!

Took the grandchildren, was very busy, crowded, and to be fair, it felt chaotic. People were waiting around for orders, tables that needed cleaning because it was so packed. I suspect this is due to the school holidays.

I would just like to say my experience would have been ruined if it wasn’t for the hard work and commitment that Damien put in. He worked extremely hard despite the woman (I assume the manager) who was consistently demeaning towards him throughout my visit (very auditable for all to hear). I understand they have a job but the lady shouting at him in the kitchen was very upsetting as a customer. I hope Damien gets the recognition that he deserves.

Didnt give me half the order then when i called them they didnt answer for about 1 hour and told me i can only get my money back through uber

Me and my daughter went here for breakfast today and OMG what an absolute s#it hole of a place this is, it’s absolutely disgusting rats would love this place with how dirty and disgusting it is, you’ve got crackheads and the homeless using it and this is not very appealing for children to see, every table was dirty or had some form of written on, there’s was empty needle packets in the toilets, honestly how this place is still open is beyond me it’s got to be up there with the worst McDonald’s restaurants!!!

Very poor service. VERY SLOW to serve people and also serving people that came after others and when I received my food, part of my McMuffin was missing part of the muffin.

Once food eventually arrived it was cold and wrong and with me having take out unable to take it back. Service is self Service which is easy and straight forward as for a few off the staff behind the counter if they actually put the customer first instead messing about im sure improvements could be made. As for atmosphere there is more life in a graveyard that is the easiest way to put it. There are better McDonald in Stoke-on-Trent to visit Hanley very very disappointing.

Typical McDonald's experience tbh, slightly longer wait than usual, but only 5 mins, service good, food, good (in moderate lol) Atomosphe fine. Al in all no complaints

It's ok but needs tables for disabled people

No receipts on the order screens. Left standing at the counter waiting for my order that was apparently ready. No sauces with my meal as specified on the order. Then thrown 1 sauce onto my tray for 4 meals. Food was cold, not warm cold. This complaint was originally done to comment on the absolutely shocking state of the toilets in the baby changing room. It was worse that a bus station toilet. It was disgusting. I will never visit that restaurant again.

Do not go for a meal, food was cold service was poor. Cleanliness is disgusting. The toilets are horrific. I will never return to this restaurant

This is possibly the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to the wait for my order was so long they don’t even have a drive through to contend with so why as for the toilet it was unusable the smell was awful and urine all over the seat I would rather starve than go in there again

Food is standard McDonald's, service is good but the overhearing of staff complaining and swearing is extremely off-putting when you have young children with you. There is an ongoing issue with the homeless community using the place as refuge early in the morning- not sure whose responsibility this is. McDonald's management clearly needs to liase with the council.

Not a great experience today. The fries were cold and overcooked, the bun was soggy and I got regular coke over diet. Also my usual coke zero was unavailable and there was no ice

I don't know who to blame, as of now I could throw away all what we got from Mcdonalds Hanley. When hungry and doesn't want to cook or go out to dine we chose to order food from take away through just eat. Our order is worth £27.43, what we've got? £9.87. This isn't the first time. Who's fault is this, Mcdonalds crew or just eat? Please see photo attached.

Food is as normal…. Service normal…. Environment totally dirty… food all over the floor. Dirty trays on all tables…. I had to clean a table to eat… Not a good place to return.

vegetarian burgers always cold had it as a meal & we had the vegetarian wrap meal, and the new chicken Big Mac meal but it wasn't very warm. We had this problem before told someone about it nothing got done so we didn't bother this time. Wast of £20 or so

The food was the usual McDonalds fare. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean. What really let the place down was the toilets upstairs. The seat was broken which made sitting awkward to start with, on top of that was the lock missing on the door, which meant having to be a contortionist in order to have any privacy. I expected better from such a large company, I don't blame the staff for this.

Terrible, supposed to be fast food. A few weeks ago waited over 20 mins for a Mac muffin and hash brown - the MAC muffin came cold. Today was in a hurry so ordered cheeseburger and large fries and guess what? 20 mins wait still not ready so walked up and asked for a refund which was given. This is last time I use this horrible hovel

Always takes incredibly slow for food delivery and when order arrives, the fries have without doubt gone stale. Service definitely needs improving as well as availability for the upstairs section

Staff are friendly but service super slow in here. Seems too be a lot of staff standing around no staff use their incentive to service customers. Will pretend they don’t see you then after you have waited long enough will call another staff to serve you. Which I find rude. It’s almost as if they think it’s beneath them to serve you. Also when ordering hot drinks. Would make sense that you done the food first and drinks last. To stop drinks from going cold and the cream dissolving in the drinks ( common sense really) for food to be a certain temperature and not Luke warm or stone cold. Apparently your company don’t serve butter with pancakes but it’s advertised on the board you do. There was no jalapeño in my spicy mc crispy which advertised also Went here in March 24 one morning ordered a coffee, the staff put it though as a bacon and cheese flat bread £1.79. I realised soon as I looked at the receipt. I told her that I wanted a coffee which was £1.99 between her and her boss struggled to change the bacon and cheese flat bread through the till. So I was refunded the £1.79 and had to purchase the coffee. £1.79 was already in the counter which I gave the staff 20p to add £1.99. She was taken a long time to count 20p making out I hadn’t given her the correct money. Which I had to break it down to her..maths clearly not her strongest subject.

I never saw so much rubbish and dirty tables or floors. It was one guy who was trying to clean quickly and by his self , Ben is his name and was asking apologise for the mess but they are short staff. Even is are short staff ,they been out few girls and they didn't bother to clean at least the table, was looking to the table, was laughing and chatting but not cleaning. I supposed if they had time for a chat it was enough time just few seconds to clean a little bit.

Not been here in years. What a dirty and dingy McDonalds. Floor filty, tables filthy, decor dark and uninviting. Literally felt like walking into a prison - dirty and vile place. Not enjoyable at all.

As a former McDonald's employee I'm normally quite lenient when it comes to issues with stores and restaurants, especially McDonald's. However, I'm absolutely appalled by the "service" I received today. For starters, it has been an ongoing issue that they never give us straws or dips when we get a delivery, despite the fact I know the managers will give them full lessons and ensure they know to check the order carefully and see if it needs straws or dips. Although, maybe the managers here haven't done that, despite it being common practice. The issue I've had today is that not only have they not given dips, which I usually react with a "whatever" to, but they missed out the McChicken Sandwich which was part of our order. At first we figured, whatever, we'll just request a refund through the app, but we couldn't figure out how. If we'd ordered through any other delivery service we would've been able to get a refund, but unfortunately it seems like you can't through the McDonald's App. Because of that, we tried to ring them up. Once again, I used to work at a McDonald's, so I know full well that there should be at least 2 managers at the time that I ordered, along with most likely a CEL, though it's excusable for the CEL to not pick up the phone as they'll be busy with the restaurant and doing their part of the close. It's inexcusable, however, that none of the managers picked up the phone, and that none of the Crew told them the phone was ringing. We rung about 5 or 6 times, waiting out the full ring, before we decided to just give up as there was absolutely zero answer. There is literally zero excuse for this, especially because I know first hand what goes on in a McDonald's restaurant. Absolutely unbelievable and a waste of money since we can't even get a refund now.

Bought an egg mcmuffin meal yesterday, come home, NO EGG. Just a buttered muffin, even though it said "egg" on my order so not sure how that happened? It's literally their only job to like give me what I ordered. And a buttered muffin isn't even a menu item. Just went back today and ordered a muffin with jam and hashbrown with ketchup. NO JAM AND NO KETCHUP. There isn't even butter on the muffin this time so it's totally inedible. Is the staff having a laugh? They have ONE JOB. How is this happening? And both times I went it was early morning so it was dead, they weren't making any other orders. Literally never going here again. Absolutely unbelievable.

Got court up in traffic so pulled in to grab some food. Not enough staff on. Along wait for food , then was very dry as no sauces provided even though we ordered them. Staff seemed busy sorting just eat/ deliveroo orders instead of customers in the restaurant. Want be using that one again.

It was great. First of all the worker were so nice they are not good people. They made me pay extra and let some chavs in front of me in the queue. Great experience. I hast to pay for dem chavs vapes cuz they didn't afford it they cost me £82 on vapes its ridiculous. It made me cry I tried to jump from the balcony. A worker spilled coffee on one of my items and just put it on the floor. When I got my filet o fish budget u found a hair in my tortilla. My babies coke had a double big mac swth large fries and a sprite because they apparently didn't have any donor cabbabs. In not coming back. It made me cry

Cold food .staff need training in customer comes first and try be more polite

Food was good, service was quick but what let it down the most was cleanliness downstairs was dirty wrappers and food all over the floor and tables we were offered upstairs which we accepted thinking as its closed off must be clean but no was just as bad.

Don't visit if you're claustrophobic. I have never seen a restaurant so tight and so dirty. The food is alright, but it would be better if I had a place to sit down and eat it.

Horrible experience. The place was filthy. The kitchen floor was exceptionally dirty. Machine failed to issue a slip and had to wait a very long time to get served. Place was packed full of foreign delivery people picking up orders who are given priority over normal customers.

Never had bad experience with Macdonald but this outlet was a disappointment. They took half an hour to prepare my order when my order was just a wrap and a drink. Employee there were no help ask them thrice about my order. First told me there is no order second time it's still preparing when on screen it was showing that my order is ready.

Never get correct food that you order or missing items regularly. When you query it they are quite rude and make you feel like your lying. Other times we have had food delivered by just eat and only usually get half of the food ordered always missing items and as its delivered impossible to get refund

( for £4.29 you get McPlant ) you may think vegans are good for our planet I still think other are more filling ( £6.09 for Big Tasty and likely get filled up from it ) Who says ( less people buying it because of the price ) I would choose the Big Tasty over McPlant not because of their price is because is filling and look better to eat

Ordered using the app at the store in Hanley parliament road.The delivery never happened rang Uber to complain.I was told he tried to deliver the food and waited 8 mins he also supposedly texted and rang me.None of this happened and I don’t get a refund.The whole episode has put me off ordering from McDonald’s again

Ordered food via deliveroo food arrived cold. 8 dips missing, big mac burger missing, McChicken burger missing. Had to phone deliveroo for a refund, had to order from another restaurant just to eat, VERY ANGRY with this mcdonalds; failure to answer the phone. Recently placed an order for delivery via mcdelivery. The whole oder was cold and took over a hour to be delivered. Uber eats say it was delivered within their policy guidelines and the store say it's not their problem. This might just be the last time I have a McDonald's.

A little dirty. Napkins are not included with your order. No ketchup. But this is fast food. Although other poppies have napkins and sauce machines

Scruffy and grubby. Sorry to say I would never have gone there through choice. The layout isn't good. We were given cold fries, which where exchanged for hot fries when we complained but should never have been served in the first place.

We were there fee days because of our son graduation and we poped in quite busy but lovely staff....
