McDonald's in Stoke-on-Trent

Slow service and the muffin i ordered had alot of grease dripping off it.

I’ve been coming to this McDonald since I was little but recently it has gone to crap the staff are rude and some of them don’t wear hair nets or name tags and still wearing jewellery I was waiting 20 minutes for my food and had to go in for it and when I asked where it was I was yelled at I work at McDonalds and it’s not that difficult to be polite and when I got home there was a hair in my food due to them not wearing a hair net

Macdonald's is Macdonald's. You know what you're getting. I find them all the same. However, this one seems unable to provide food in an efficient manner, and when the food does reach you, it's completely inconsistent. At least one item is cold. Always. Or one item is completly cold whilst another is like you have had a shot of fryer oil. No idea how you even do that...?

Used drive thru', Was pretty busy, but nevertheless wasn't a long wait. Order process was simple enough and staff were friendly....

Food came reasonably quick considering all the online orders that are waiting to be delivered. Food was warm but not as hot as it could be. Perhaps it's me expecting hot food from a fast food restaurant?

Must be the worst MacDonalds in the world. Drive thru 1 wasn’t working I sat waiting for a dark age then gave up and went straight to window. Not got most of my order available. Waited another dark age waiting for my food to be brought to me. When it was it was cold. It’s not rocket science to serve at Macdonalds.

Got to be the worst one I’ve been to yet, constantly told to park up to receive cold food, order is regularly wrong, items missed off the composition of the food, ie no egg on the sos and egg muff, drive through regularly has problems with a lane so you sit there when others fly through the other lane, can’t get on car park coz to many Uber drivers parked up, place has gone to the dogs AVOID.

Missing items Rang up but no one would answer the phone after 3 hours I gave up. Rude staff and after waiting to go in the drive in your told to park up, then they serve you cold food. Never again will I go to this macdonalds. I carnt understand why other macdonalds can get it perfect yet this one just wants to sever you rubbish with the same attitude. Maybe the guy who owns this needs to get in there and see what’s going on and teach the staff to answer the phone, so the mo ey you ripped me of for by not giving me my items I will get back. IF YOU CARNT DO THE JOB YOU NEED TO GIVE IT UP

Asked to park up in the drive through, and when I explained that I couldn't as I was in a large van and the car park was extremely busy a member of staff was rude to me and said some nasty things before she was dragged away by the window girl and told to calm down. I'd already waited 5 mins at the speaker to place my order previously. I only wanted a few cheeseburgers and a chicken nugget happy meal, my boy next to me in my van got scared due to the angry member of staffs behaviour, and when we open our order on our return home we realised it was incorrect. Will not be using this McDonald's again ....... ever

Very busy McDs not helped by its location, just off a busy roundabout and I had to queue on the road waiting on access. I thought sitting in would be a better option but had to abandon my car in the car park parking on the pedestrian crossing! Other collection/delivery drivers were doing the same. The food was good, I ordered a McChicken sandwich meal which was very hot.

The Sandyford franchise of Mcdonalds has to be one of the worst branches I have ever visited! On almost every occasion I have had to park up and wait for food while the multitude of Uber drivers are prioritised. The majority of staff working there, especially the manager, are nothing short of rude, and a refresher on customer service and human decency would be extremely beneficial.

Always take forever to get in and then on average 30 mins wait for food that turns out cold Fast food my ass

Ordered on Uber eats why is it I NEVER get all of my order i pay for the delivery and a service charge which to me is ridicules but that my problem , but i do pay to received what I ordered and what i would say not a satisfactory temperature so thank you for taking my money and not giving a hoot :(

Great mcdonalds, but the carpark is tiny and can take quite a while to get in the carpark. I had 2 plain cheese burgers and some chips.

Honestly think the delivery part has ruined this store the wait is always so long the food is wrong 9 times out of 10 also. Me my partner and 2 children sat in afew weeks ago and waited 25 minutes to find out are food had been sat waiting to be brought to the table for 10 minutes the lady then tried to give me the food at the till no thank you it was freezing and had been sat in the open by all the delivery drivers for 10 minutes it then came and had an item missing so I had to go bk up then all the strawberry milkshakes tasted like chocolate absolute shambles

Always absolutely rammed. But never enough food. Be prepared to wait on the carpark forever... And then receive the wrong order 🥲

A rare visit with my granddaughter spoiled by the conduct of the fast food delivery drivers.

I would like to comment on how disappointed my visit was to Sandyford. I only visit less than 6 visits per year and today I called in I queued in the usual queue as I assume your preparing all the delivery orders in front of the customers who make an effort to visit the site .Once asked what was my order I wanted a mango smoothie a oreo mcflurry and a cookie dough mcflurry the response I received was we not got no mango smoothie we not got no oreo we not got no cookie dough so whoopee im already in the slow queue and no for no reason whatsoever. My suggestion is if your a franchise then go and invest in product dont penny pinch and run the site on a shoe string it was a complete waste of my time the only conclusion I get is that you don't visit Sandyford McDonald's as they won't have any stock of your preferred items. Other visits include the milk shake machine isn't working whats next we not got no burgers only a lettuce bap or tomato bun without the tomato so it needs to be revamped to ease road congestion as its ridiculous how its allowed to continue trading with the traffic it causes. So I won't be visiting again .

Same as always.. you get your food' minus the milkshake because the machine eis supposedly broke l the sauces are missing, and got the wrong burger.the only thing you're guaranteed is a slight feeling of disappointment

Food cold chips raw waited 15_20 mins for what I would call a standard big Mac meal, McDonald's seems to prioritise on line orders,they seem to be going backwards and should go back to the way it was

Hit and miss on service times. Sometime immediate and at worse I waited 33 min for a chicken mayo and latte 🤷🏼‍♀️ The uber drivers really have killed the atmosphere in this place and they ALWAYS park in the disabled bays. Get control of the drivers and stop them from sitting on tables in the restaurant. So unhygienic! Always seem to have issues with frozen drinks too

Just had a double cheeseburger from here, the burgers were literally hanging out of the bungalow, soon as I tried to pick it up to readjust it all the meat fell right out of the bungalow onto the floor, apparently they can't even assemble a burger now. Waited 15 minutes for this, waste of time and money

Total joke of a a place full of clown staff? Ordered a cheese burger! Standard item you’d think! First one came out with nothing other than the patty! Went back in to change for one with onions all pickles as in a standard cheeseburger! The next burger came out and still no onion, contested this and the manager said there are onions on it (literally three little cubes!) got a third burger and can’t be arsed going back in as it’s a joke but was the same 😂

Run by imbeciles! Never known a place constantly forget to put things in that you've ordered! This area needs another Macdonalds because this place is a joke. ***edit*** Had to edit an old review as Google wouldn't let me write a new on. Just returned for a fathers day breakfast. Ordered a bacon roll no sauce for my son which turned out to be a bacon, sausage egg and cheese bap! Sons breakfast ruined. And the hash brown with my meal and the two extra I paid for weren't even in the bag. This place must literally scrape the barrel for staff!

Asked at the order service if there was a wait, answer was no. Paid and got to the food window and got the normal, can you please park up. They then give you the hot drink which you order and by the time the food comes out the hot drink is then cold. It has to be the worst McDonald’s in Stoke. Are you catering for those who order online before paying customers at the window?

Anytime I order through the app and it comes from here it's wrong and I mean everytime, the staff don't pay attention while packing orders & hand them to the wrong drivers constantly, pay peanuts get monkeys...

Poor car park food takes a long time to come self service machine broken

Would rate 0 stars if I could!!!!! Staff are narcissistic walleys who slate Uber eats delivery drivers especially Janine the assistant manager. Think you need to take a long hard look in the mirror you horrid woman. Hope you get sacked will be reporting to McDonald’s customer services. You don’t deserve this job you silly woman

One of the worst McDonald’s in the country. Wait times are out of hand, every time you use the drive through you have to park up. I’d understand if it was a large order but it’s one meal, that’s it, 1 burger 1 fries 1 drink, yet I’m staring at countless teenagers standing around idly chatting. When you pull up to the drive through window they don’t even acknowledge you and then scornfully tell you next window. The franchise owner needs to sack everybody involved with managing this place. They have no idea.

One of the busiest McD, facilities were good at their standards, Drive-in + Eat-in, finding parking space is tough due to its business.

Place is like eating in a prison, like all McDonald's. Car park is tiny, always parking issues. Completely get ignored by staff if wanting to make a cash order. Food was cold as always.

Ordered a Veg Wrap mean amongst other items. Took food home only to realize that the wrap was missing, food was cold and stale. Service was incredibly slow, with a half empty restaurant. Kitchen had at least 7 people working the line, so I can't wrap my head around how my experience could be so poor

The assistant manager, Janine is extremely rude to delivery drivers and presents herself in an unprofessional manner. When I visited, she was swearing and shouting at customers. Wouldn’t want to be served by her again😂😂😂😂😂

Customer care is always delivered here, hence I'm giving 5 stars. You never see the managers out and about in other McDonald's Restaurants, but in this one they're always making sure that their customers are happy. Plus the table service is great too. You do get the usual McDonald's atmosphere, and the food always done as it should be. UPDATE: I don’t know what’s happened over the years, but they’re not as they used to be. Wait times are ridiculous and then only to get your order and find out you’ve got items missing. I’d be lenient if it was a one-off but it’s happening on pretty much every order recently - regardless of picking it up or having it delivered. How do you cope when the kids don’t get their nuggets or someone else hasn’t got their McMuffin? Ruins the entire experience :( They’ve got to train their staff to be more attentive

Standard McDonalds. Often have things not available and can be a bit slow on service but alright overall.

ordered food from Uber eats, order came with missing items, missing 2 whole meals and the double McMuffins were singles. This is not the first time this is happened. Absolutely shocking. How hard is it to get an order correct. We will never order again.

Making you pull up for the smallest orders over an hour wait by far the worst in stoke

This is the third time you've gotten my order wrong. I've tried to solve the issue a few times by phone but they never pick up, usually I have no problem but this time they gave me no straws for my milkshake. Then instead of giving a chicken double burger they gave me a double beef one with onion which I requested without. It's getting ridiculous honestly. I would like a refund or at the very least the correct thing delivered please.

Called in last night after going regent theatre, the staff acted like place was closed, waited nearly 20 mins for 2 burger meals, woman who finally gave me the food has got no customer service, think most of them last night need be re-trained , if you were like that when I worked at makkies you'd be given a warning or lost your job , these so called new improved burgers are tasteless. Won't be coming back to this one it used be the best

This place is an absolute joke. Constantly being parked up when using the drive through. And it's so tight to get in and out of with the amount of traffic. Very poor service.

Burgers were very cold ,dry ,overcooked and tasteless .Fries were cold and hard .?? Also overcooked ? Cost has gone up ..Wont be going back .

Except Ben (manager), all other staff is poor service. They don't know how to respect people, especially the lady staff. They work with a big head, no customer eye contact, and also very terribly talk to the delivery drivers, utterly delay to provide foods as a results foods gets called. I'll record how they behave and send to head office very soon.

Well, here's my edit for 2024, and wow, has the Sandyford McDonald's gone downhill faster than a bag of rocks. The attitude with a lot of the staff members is appalling, the toilets are disgusting, it takes WAY TOO LONG to receive your order, and you'll be lucky if you've either received the right order, or got it at all. With McDonald's being a fast (or slow, in this case) food restaurant, you'd expect the food to taste good, right? Right?! Wrong! The food is almost flavourless, and I wasn't even ill. Do yourself a favour, and go to any other McDonald's restaurant in Staffordshire!

Customer service was appalling. I orderd my familys food on the order screens but forgot to ask for sauce. I walked up to the counter (it wasn't busy, no other customers were stood at the counter) 4 girls were stood chatting I tried to catch eye contact with one of them. One of the girls said "there's someone at the till, she keeps looking at me" to wich another girl giggled. I went to sit down. When the food came one of the girls looking as miserable as sin just dumped our order on the table. When I asked for the extra sauce she went to get that and just dumped that with our order.

It would be quicker to chase the chciken around and make my own nuggets after finally catching it! Bet if i walked in with an orange uber bag, id be seen and served no problem. Drive through is a waste of time

Most definitely the worst McDonald's I've ever been to, noone on the till to serve anyone as when people were asking they just got ignored. The took more priority over Just Eat and Uber than the customers in the shop we waited 25 for two frappes which is ridiculous.

Haven’t had McDonald’s for ages, so after a very long day we decided to get a McDs whilst passing. Can’t believe how down hill the food has gone?!! Cold, pale, floppy fries (a large, tho half filled!) and a luke warm burger each. £15!!! shocking!! Wish I had read the reviews here. Never again.

Constantly being parked up for a simple cheeseburger meal…then they serve me the wrong burger. If management can’t handle putting people in the correct stations and running a fast food place as they should then maybe they should get new management who can actually handle the simple task. Waited 4 minutes at front counter to be served, no staff on front counter (manager looking over at me numerous times from fry station) Ordered food, stood.counter another 13 mins only ordered a mcchicken sandwich. After asking 3 different members of staff where my order was I finally got a cold burger 3 other customers at til also waited same or even longer Uber eats and drive thru take priority and staff can't smile

Bad attitude of staff, late deliveries averaging an hour, the delivery drivers lie to you, won't eat in again the place is filthy.

Food order came out wrong (Again) this seems to be a constant issue, service wasn't up to standards it should be and there is a surly attitude from the staff who are taking orders and serving people, these issues are a regular occurance with this particular mcdonalds.

It's become annoying when going in to order. It's not "fast food" at all anymore. At least 10-15 minutes wait. Sometimes longer. Because it's always ram packed with Uber, Deliveroo and Just East drivers. Terrible service.

Fries old and cold second time now , first visit the same but gave them a second chance the big tasty burger in march was good but had to leave the fries yet again , no point getting a meal deal if half of it is not edible so they went in the bin for a second time left disappointed.

Just went for breakfast food was amazing , hot , perfectly cooked and customer service was excellent.

Prompt service, but sadly no hot chocolate available on this visit. Food was up to standard, staff pleasent & friendly. However, on this visit the male toilet was a little untidy with pieces of toilet roll strewn on the floor.

Very slow service. Dirty tables and the person responsible for cleaning them could not be bothered. In the time I was there she wiped 1 table and many were dirty.
