Normally happy here with the service but today there were only 2 on the bar and a 30-35 minute queue. Several tables nearby were choosing not to queue and getting their own soft drinks and snacks from WH Smiths opposite, so tables were full of folk not using the bar. Suppose the tills will pick up on this. On the good side, we had 2 pints of real ale each, and the quality was fine though expensive at nearly £6.00 a pint but a decent enough choice and the staff were helpful.

We ordered through the burger king app. We received the order on time, however, the order was missing a variety of items adding up to over £13 which is alot of money. I have emailed about 8 different email addresses to complain including the one on the app. I have not had one response of any of them. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service. I have not ordered off the app since. The food was good and delivered hot however 2 people were missing food.

Myself and my husband had a couple of hours to spare yesterday (14th September), anyway we went in to have a meal as a treat, turns out more of a mis treat. The staff were rude, the manager was worse. We sat down to eat our meal and my husbands "hot chocolate" looked like dish water and tasted just as bad after complaining I was told "that the machine had been fixed a couple of days before, and if I wanted a replacement hot chocolate it would taste exactly the same as the first" so opted out of that and had a sprite. The food was cold and the fries were half cooked. As for the lettuce it was brown in places so clearly turning rotten. We will never go there again. And if you value your digestive system I would stay away too. The staff need training in customer service and the manager either needs to go or have PROPER management training. Failing that get rid of them all and start over again with nice people and staff. They would have more custom if they had nice staff and much better food. May I also add that everytime we have been there the downstairs part of the store is always shut off to the public so you can't use the facilities my next step is to now contact their head office.

Was stuck between leaving 2 stars (poor) or 3 (average), think I’ve been generous to be fair. It’s gotten to the point where we always pull over before driving off because we were fed up of getting home and having something missing or wrong. We don’t go often anymore because of this… 8 times out of 10 the order is wrong. Today stopped off to get a sausage McMuffin and cheese and bacon flatbread, made sure both were in the bag only to get home and find no sausage on the McMuffin (just egg). Wasn’t even busy, it’s not much too ask to check the order is right. It’s the standing joke with everyone how they get orders wrong but annoyed me today, it’s not cheap either!

Ordered 2 x breakfast egg, cheese and sausage baps and a bacon bap with 2 x coffees and fresh orange juice. And I had to take burgers back they were black underneath. So burnt. I took a bite if mine and my husband took a bite of his and his was also burnt. It tasted horrible. Black pieces was all in the wrapper that it was wrapped up in. Wish I took pictures now... I took it back and all I got off manager was sorry. And a young boy gave me 2 more that was barely warm and just said thank you. They weren't bothered at all. I always go to all McDonald's whilst on holiday to different places around the country in our camper van. And always had lovely food with no problems. So I'm not sure whether to go anymore.

Dapne deserves a raise! Just visited the store (12.30 8/8/24) for a takeaway, originally served by Bethany who as soon as she realised we were coming for the food put it down and walked off, zero customer service skills!! Dapne who was finishing serving next to me, without prompting, asked if I’d like a drinks tray (3 drinks and a bag to carry by myself) and if I’d like any sauces. Got back to the car to find the order wasn’t correct, when I got to the counter both Dapne and Bethany had their backs to the counter, only Dapne responded to my “excuse me”, she was polite and apologetic while Bethany just walked off to flirt with the male store Manager/Assistant Manager. Dapne was polite, helpful and friendly, she is showing how customer service should be! Would have fed this back to the store directly but can’t without a 12 digit code from the receipt but the self service machine didn’t give a receipt.
