Burger King in Harrogate

I can honestly say this was the worst meal I have ever had it was cold and their vegan option was cooked with meet, the service wasn't very good either got drinks wrong and got charged a sugar levy for diet drinks. If I could have give them NO stars I would have

Quick service, excellent customer service, and fresh hot food. Would visit again.

A bizarre and obnoxious man refused to say if they sold gluten free burgers. I went to m&s instead for healthier food and better service.

Jacob was incredible on service, taking orders, making chips, preparing ice creams and drinks and packing orders correctly. Chips were seasoned amazingly. Such fast and accurate service from him on his own!! Never had a better Burger King experience

Machines so slow it's certainly not Fast Food.

When I use a burger king I expect to be able to use the burger King app, not told that they don't except it

So happy they have Vegan nuggets now. Wow you would never know the difference! There is a KFC next door and they dont even have Vegan nuggets, useless KFC & McDonalds. Yay Burger King 🤴

My daughter and I got a burger at Burger King but were both ill within a couple of hours. We had vomiting and diarrhoea. We were ill for two days - never again. Wetherby Services is scruffy and dirty. Seating was disgusting ripped seat covers. Toilets were clean and M&S good - Costa ok too but I would rather starve than visit the place again!

Me and my son had food poisoning from lukewarm burgers. Lukewarm is what you expect from these type of establishments but it must have been sitting out for a long time to be able to hit us like that. Avoid like the plague

Well it’s been a year since I stopped at this Burger King where I had a really disappointing whopper experience, you’ll find it on here somewhere. I mean it was the worst whooper I’d ever had. Well I thought may be they have improved and the truth is they had, I would say they’ve gone from zero stars to 1 and that’s being good. At least the burger looked like it had been put together with minuscule of care. The patty though still micro thin to cook quickly, and still not hot. I mean this place still holds to me the worst whooper in the UK. Shame. I mean it didn’t even taste like a whooper burger should. Where is that beefy flame grill flavor? Guess it’s time to just use the independents now to get a quality burger. Bye bye Burger King two strikes and your off the enjoyable eating list.

Polish lad behind the desk ignore all the customers who do not want to use the self ordering screens. Unfortunately no cash payment and vouchers accepted there.

Fantastic place to pick up fast food that needs to be reheated within 2 minutes of purchase, don’t bother unless you have a microwave in your pocket

Haven’t have a burger for a long time. It was late & a convenient place to stop was at the Moto. I was very surprised with the Chimichurri Burger and the fries with chimichurri sauce. It was an error on the bill and was sorted out immediately. Excellent fast service for a fast food.

Bacon breakfast roll was disgusting, was a microwaved lump of overpriced mush. Was already on the road or would have have returned. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Absolute rip off for the food and had the pleasure of watching the manager argue with another customer about the chicken being off and missing some food items. Let's just say he wasn't very professional in front of other customers. Won't bother again when up that way.

Excellent staff and very fast service. Usually I have to wait a little longer as I go for the vegan option but my order was ready in a few short minutes. A little on the pricey side though, almost £10 for a vegan chicken burger

Served quite quickly. Fries quite nice. If you want a quick and easy snack it's not bad.

Felt sorry for the young lad at the front was run of his feet .was waiting to place an order for 20 minutes not the lads fault but the girl who was in the shirt a manager or something seen me stood there was chatting to the guy at the back of the counter when she seen me she stood to the side so I couldn't see her ..burger King now wonder you have gone down hill

It's 35 years since I used a Burger King - I remember why now! Personal service is zero - I mean zero! Not one member of staff said a word to us. They could speak - they never shut up talking to each other behind the counter - but the only contact we had was when our "number" was called and a bag containing our order was pushed across the counter to us. Not even an "enjoy your meal" or anything. We had to order and pay for our meals on a computer screen - I obviously got it wrong because the drink I thought I ordered wasn't included. If I go back in 35 years I'll be doing well to be alive!

The worst BK food we've ever had. We had to park at the other end of the car park because it was so busy and so few double length spaces for our van. We didn't discover until we opened the bag that one of the burgers we'd paid for was missing. Didn't have time or energy in the heat to go back. The one burger we did have was like eating dry old cardboard, fries were tasteless and onion rings soggy. All at motorway rip off prices. We usually prefer BK to McDonalds but at this venue, we certainly won't be going back.

We went last night it was very quiet...2 lads chatting no eye contact no customer service but that aside chose this services as BK is normally a better quality of fast food to its competitors but not last night it was shocking. 11.99 for a cold uninspiring Angus steakhouse and cold fries then my friend got a double bacon cheese burger 20 minutes later this was also cold...tiny and had never seen a flame grill the burger was insipid looking. Will revert back to MCDs at least the food is hot and the staff acknowledge you...Please don't let this put you off Wetherby Services in general as great facilities we always stop to charge our E Cars will just avoid BK from now on .

Awful. As always. How they get to retain the franchise is beyond my understanding. I keep reminding myself to never eat there. (to be precise, this is the one on the motor was services.)

Wouldn't let me use the discount code generated by the app. Charged me for large meals. Tried to fob me off with regular. Bacon was uncooked. Wouldn't use again.

My husband ordered a Bacon Double XL. The first burger was stone cold so he had it replaced. The beef patties were touch warm in the second burger and the bacon was stone cold. He took the second back only to told by a member of staff that the bacon is always cold. My husband told him that the bacon is always hot in his burgers and asked for a refund. Also when my husband tried to get the assistants attention, the assistant turned, looked at my husband and turned back to what he was doing. Really poor customer service.

I called yesterday, the Friday before 31st. December 2022. The whole Moto site was busy, possibly the busiest day of the year. It was heaving. I never realised how big the site was, probably because I had never been there before. I opted for Burger King but was faced with ordering from a monitor surrounded by lots of young folks who clearly were regulars and could have ordered blindfolded. Well I couldn’t and contemplated leaving but decided to approach the counter. Looking at the illuminated display board, it changes display too fast to read. Then Dan spotted my look of dismay. He was so helpful, took things in hand, asked what I was looking for and it was sorted. “ Jobs a good ‘un “. Well it was, I watched Dan in action and under pressure, he had everything under control. Everyone were working well, customers were happy, the whole place was working like a Swiss watch. In a potentially chaotic situation it was good to see it all happen. Unlike many similar places I have been over the years. And the food was good and actually hot. Unlike many places I have been over the years. Needless to say I don’t go back if disappointed. However I will be back to Wetherby. Thank you Dan.

Worst place,worst management,i was at 21.20pm to order and they say is close,lazy staff

We had a choice of food outlets to choose from but obviously made a bad choice. Both my wife and I are disabled and chose this one as there wasn't a long wait. We soon realised why. My wife's cheeseburger was small and cost treble what we pay at McDonald's. I went for their equivalent of a big mac but it wasn't big and both burgers were cold. Never again.

Had 2 Chicken burgers at Burger King Wetherby Services on 12/12/22 at around 5pm. Both were only warm but we ate them. We had nothing else to eat in the evening and had a cup of tea at betime. I felt a bit poorly with stomach pains around 23.00. My wife was " really ill " with diarrhoea at around 2am. By the morning we were both OK. So for lunch we had a bun and a costa coffee as we were travelling and a warm...instead of hot burger for tea from Burger King.. From our experience we will never eat at Burger King again.

1 star is generous. Order 'king loaded fries' and they came with plain cheese sauce. When asked for the bacon topping shown on the ad, got told that they do offer it but just not right now.

The staff are so helpful I thought I was in the North Korean branch. Went in at 10am and up on the electronic board they were advertising the breakfast menu. I asked for for the sausage muffin and was told “we’re not doing breakfasts mate” when asked why I was told “well we only opened half an hour ago and the breakfasts stop at half ten so no point” ooh that’s great mate eh not point on turning the advertising screens on then is there. The staff also seemed more interested in carrying on the conversation than serving me and the lad serving had a filthy shirt on covered in his ginger beaded hair.

Wot a joke of a place first went in there about 5am toke so long to order that I ended up leaving then iv gone in there at ll:53am still mange to watch a member of staff for 2 minutes to be told I'll be right bk and start frying stuff so twice in the same day no service, if this place was not a motorways services then you would make no money wot a joke of staff dose any one do there job or is it just a place to go when mummy and daddy want u to get a job. Consistently give you less of the garlic cheese bites than you order, if you order 9 you'll get about 6-8. Can't they count or is it just policy to scam? The three times I've been here they gave me 6, 7 or 8. Each time I ordered 9. How can counting to 9 be so difficult?

Fast service even at a busy time. Food was okay but pricey compared to the nearby KFC. Wouldn't recommend the coffee - flavour not good and didn't get a full cup.

Absolutely disgusting experience. As I entered a staff member by the name of Archie Whitton frowned and growled in my face angrily. I will not be returning again as he spat in my whopper meal. I am beyond outraged

Slow service, understaffed, rude and unhelpful staff, cold chips. Only thing good was the burger. The staff the did have seemed inexperienced and too young to be left to run the place themselves. Need some more customer service training, or just general manners training.

Truly disgracefully run unit, first impression initially was they were staffed to the hilt, literally waiting for our order to go through, 5 mins later it was getting busy and beyond the capability of the illtrained staff. Bare in mind we were first in and many people came and went after us, the coffee was freezing! Some wee hippy looking women came out and grunted "I hope you lot are keeping out of trouble" A young female staff member that looked like she was running for a beauty contest was rambling about not wanting to do chips. Rather sit in the bath with the toaster than go through that again, welldone!!! a new low has been achieved, knocking McDonalds Leeming of the top spot!

Food was warm but should have been hotter. Not much else to say really, a below average experience, not the best Burger King I have had by far, would expect more from them really. Suppose you don't have to try too hard when you have little competition in the area.

was 10/27/21, made an order using the touchscreen, everything froze during the payment. but has withdrawn money from my bank account. I explained everything to the staff and showed that the money was withdrawn from my account, the staff began to argue with me and ask me to pay again, as if they would make a refund automatically, I explained that I already had such an experience before and it turned out that I paid twice, for which the staff agreed to give me what I had already paid for, without putting in the necessary ingredients. a shame.

I order meal with cofe, when I finish cofe was something in swim 🤮🤮🤮 chips was mega extra salt can not eating... Burger was tasked like from the floor... I understand I order 20 minutes before closed but really? Really? If is like that pleas make a sign informed last order 30min before close!!! That was disgusting

Wasn't sure if I was eating the chips or the bag it came in. They was cold and dry as was the chilli cheese bites. The burger was OK at best

I am travelling & have just been into Burger King asked for my water bottle to be filled up while my husband was ordering meal at machine. I was told They dont have drinking water there

The arrival of milkshakes has been long awaited for BK! And I have to say they are much better than McDonald's milkshakes!

Dont usually use BK, and wont in future. Sorry but it still irritates me greatly when major hsins ramp up prices at motorway services taking advantage of a 'captive audience ' so to speak. Frankly it stinks.

Usual disappointment, for some reason it never is anywhere as good as you hope but better than McD's and at least you feel satiated for a while unlike their main competitor.

Food was slow. No hot drinks. Shortage of products. When we got the food, the burger and fries were cold. We would have complained, but it was early hours and had already gone back to the car to eat it. Not impressed!

The wee female server came out to her spot only to find poor me at the other side of her plexiglass screen, the lone contender for food at 21.00 hours on the night both Scotland and England were on the box fighting Czechs and Croaters for continuance in some foot-ball-ish European Cup tournament.  I asked her what was in the Chicken Royale. She failed to reply, pressing my then unintended order on to her till so, to my regret, I failed to repeat my question, simply telling her I'd have a diet coke with my meal.  Off she then toddler, somewhere out of sight, to fetch my supper.  I think I must've waited for all of sixty seconds when came forth the frugal meal, in a bag ... at which point I made my second mistake in not checking the freshness of the offering.  Needless to say, I was nowhere near the delivery point when soon I opened the bag to find the chips nearly cold and, worse, the Chicken Royale less than royally hot.  I ate what I could and abandoned most of this purchase in the nearest available bin ... £7.45 lighter, and a bit let-down, as I use Burger King often ... and shall probably use them less after this.

Very slow service, paid for a triple whopper with cheese, didn't get cheese.

Total rubbish bacon roll was awful bacon fatty and cold and the coffee was so strong and bitter I couldn't drink it last time I'll go in there.

The burgers are tiny now. Not had BK for a few years, amazed at how small they now are.

Food cold no ketchup. Not sure how you run out of ketchup.
