Worst place I had ever been to, and worst taste of food . Cherry on the top , the guy at till with golden tooth is so rude and arrogant .

The customer service is horrific

ordered food strictly stated NO ONIONS and they arrive with ONIONS. Phoned to complainant all he did was argue the point that there were no onions and they DON’T use white onion it’s all over every mix man I’ve ever had. He proceeded to tell me it was cabbage knowing fine well there is a member of the family with a SEVERE allergies to ONION. I’m not an idiot I know onion when I see it. I’ve put a picture on the photo section which clearly shows ONIONS even a piece of actual CABBAGE next to it. The food this time was terrible, the chips were hard the chicken nuggets couldn’t even be bitten into by my 5 year old they were that hard. It’s very disappointing as Khans is usually very,very good. It was our go to place for a takeaway.

Ordered a donner kebab no option to add salad or sauces so assumed would come with, but no!!! now I have a dry kebab, after speaking to them it’s not there fault I should of written that I wanted that in the special request box, I’m pretty sure a bit of salad and chilli sauce is not a special request with a kebab!!!!

Very tasty food but 3 attempts to get my order correct and too expensive its cheaper to sit in at Starbeck tandoori

Normally amazing curry. Poppadoms seems old and not crisp. Not sure what was wrong with the rice but wasn’t as good as normal. Slightly disappointed. Hope it gets better as used to be our local favourite

Last 2 takeaways have been very late to be delivered. Ordered kebab tonight and specified mint sauce, chilli sauce and salad; kebab turns up late, cold and dry. No sauces at all. Called to complain and don't seem fussed. Used to be great but has seriously nose dived. Will consider elsewhere

Don't. Change your mind right now. The food from this hole made me violently ill within an hour of eating it. No idea what they delivered to me, I ordered a tikka massala (which it absolutely wasnt) but whatever it was made my guts run quicker than an Afghan to the whoopsie shelf. Absolutely rotten, avoid quite literally like the plague.

BAD SERVICE. So a few years ago I gave Khan's 5 stars. They were under a different manager and he ran a better buisness...now I've changed mind.. most times when I order there's a mistake...8/10 times I get the wrong food or a missing item and I'm sick of it..I spend hundreds of pounds a month at this shop...And yes the guys, bless their souls are lovely people But that doesn't make up for mediocre food with a lack of seasoning or spices.. and when asked why im told because Harrogate is a white area. So they have to cut back on spices and seasoning. Which is a shame because the whole thing about Asian food is the spices. And then there's the appalling service. The last 2 months alone. There's been about 6 mistakes.. today's mistake is the last straw. I ordered a large Asian style pizza. Alsmot £20 insted of got a pepperoni feast. Pathetic..this shop needs a new manager.

Ordered online before 4 for delivery around 5 had to ring was told seen on way. Just before 6 rang again told machine wasn't working and it's on way. 20 mins later arrived chips solid and cold kebab was cold on top warm underneath. Will not order from here again totally a waste of money and time

Don't do it. This is food. You eat it. You digest it. I asked for chicken and chips. Nothing special. The chicken smelled. This is number one. The batter was discussing. The chips. Chips are chips I can't argue. Based on local knowledge including others that I work with that have eaten hear. This isn't even a one star. A business that will one day close due to incompetence. It's your money. Your biology. And your choice. That's a real review.

15 years I’ve ordered fromKhans Harrogate. Totally happy. Last 12 months, staff are rude, their website never works, & orders are always wrong. Never again.

Must be the worst pizza I have had I eat a couple of slices and sadly the rest went in the bin also got some cheese chips which by the taste off them were probably cooked days ago then just fried again so gonna go and get some snacks from the shop.

Food lovely food quick after ordered

Been here numerous times over the last 2 years and tried to give them a chance. Possibly the worst take away I have ever been to.

Open earlier than most. Enjoyed 2 meals. Decent value. Egg fried rice was a little bland though.

How much money do they make from undelivered food? Always something short. One year on from the last review and things are still grim. Quality has gone down rapidly too. Half tandoori chicken was two legs only so if you happen to see a chicken with four legs it’s bound for Khans in Starbeck Harrogate. Also no salad with the meal as advertised. Curry sauce was just stock water. Do they care? Do they chuff!!!!

Been going to Khans for years since they have been open. They have recently changed hands not the best 😔 Donner meat is thick and bland the sauces are basically water now, chips are over cooked could go on.. such a shame this used to be amazing. Won't be going again now

Ordered two curries through the website and as my friend has an egg allergy, I ordered them a Jalfrezi. This came packed full of scrambled eggs (the ingredients aren't listed on the website, but having eaten many Jalfrezi's, this is the first time I've seen egg being used). I called Khan's who just said it is what it is and put the phone down. Disgusting service, and be very careful if ordering from the website as they obviously seem to have no care about allergies.

Best kebab for miles! And I travel miles for it, well worth it.

Cant understand how this place has good reviews, doner meat doesn't have meat in taste gritty and grainy ended up chucking it in the bin along with the chips that burst with oil in your mouth as if they where cooked ten times. Cheese on garlic bread cheap and not mozeralla. First and last time ordering, waste of money ended up in bin.

First time trying this place for me, and it didn't disapont. It's the go-to place for kebabs for the girlfriend and her family. Had a mixed kebab on naan with all the salad. Finished it all bar half of the naan 🙈. Will definitley be back to try more of the menue soon!

Great food at an affordable price

Been using khan's for a few weeks now and just love the food, I have the madras and wife has kebab, WHAT A DIFFERENCE a week makes,today 26th Nov, absolutely shocking,order was wrong, ordered chips with meal and got cheesy chips, not good, last order I will be placing, Curry was all over inside bag, we gave them a chance and they messed up

Curries are out of this world. Prices have gone up in recent times but its worth the price (Aug 2022) The kids love the sugar free tango ice burst slushies. chicken fillet burger, double cheeseburger and pizzas are also top notch. Always a queue at the weekend and obviously they are really popular for delivery.

Last night Thursday 11th August i phoned khans for a delivery on this order there were 2x drinks that are £4.50 each plus food. I got a phone call after we had waited 50mins and the shop had closed saying the drinks machine wasnt working so they would not be doing my delivery. He kept saying" it isnt your fault" im well aware it wasnt my fault. I dont know what has happened to customer service take aways never used to be like this they used to honour deliveries. They didnt ask if id like different drinks, add anything to the order, to pay minimum order as it was under without the drinks or crazily just deliver the order they had already accepted. I personally dont believe it had anything to do with the drinks and that as it had now become half an hour after the shop had closed they just wanted to go and not make the delivery.

Went back to Khans to try again despite awful service a year or so ago. Thought it might have changed, but no. So stupid they can’t put rice in to the bag to deliver and when the replacement arrives over an hour later it’s not the rice ordered. Just a horrible takeaway. Buy from here and enter the food lottery. You won’t get what you order and you may wish to ask yourself why that should be.

Very nice food and friends and drinks

BINNED - Where it belongs! Tried it, and binned the lot. Got two chicken tikka pittas. The salad was wrong, asked for lettuce and instead got all cabbage. The chicken was dry, stale, and gross. The pitta was stale and a week old. The chips tasted like they'd been microwaved. I mean for goodness sake, you're a take away joint. If you can't handle multiple orders and have to push out low quality stale mush to stay ahead; you're doing it wrong. Never ordering from here again, don't recommend anyone else does either.

You busy tonight guys? Hmm proves so, 45-60 minute wait, okay fair enough, TWO HOURS LATER!! Okay whatever you’re obviously really busy, I mean you have got a number of positive reviews so it is rather obvious you will have a large amount of orders not to mention it’s a Saturday night. Yet when we called for confirmation on when our order will arrive it turned up five minutes later which no I cannot complain about but jesus, when it turned up it was boiling hot and fresh, you only just made it? Pizza was average, chips hmm need working on, but thanks for the food anyways! 😊

Visited Khans two weeks ago ,After ordering my food. I waited and waited . after 45 mins I finally received it.( Very nice it was too ) but if you are in a hurry, I wouldn't go there. Then on passing yesterday, I noticed that there was nobody waiting in the shop, and the staff stood around talking, I went in again. Only 25 minutes wait this time (still a long wait considering there was 10 staff ) somebody came in to pick up an order, which they hadn't even made (she wasn't happy either ) In my estimation. Going right DOWN

40 min late. Never good when you have to microwave your takeout pizza kebab and burger and our dips were forgotten feel generous with one star

I just can't believe this place has so many good reviews...ordered twice, both times the worst food experience of my life. Literally food poisoning withing 2 hours, vomiting and diareea. Everything is greasy, not fresh and God knows when they clean that grill. Never again. If you want to be puking and other things on your chill night at home order from Khan's.

Awful customer services, ordered our food which was curries and chicken kebab, through starting eating the kebab realised there was donner meat all in the bottom, rang to explain to khans that this is something we do not eat and have never eaten for personal reasons to be met with a rude argumentative person on the phone who refused the refund for the kebab which now has been thrown in the bin! Will not be ordering again!

Food quality varies depending on the chef at times could be very greasy. Good point is they will follow the instructions while preparing food so can request less oil etc

I ordered food 3 hours ago and it is still not here. The customer service is awful :nobody is answering the phone and I get no reply to my emails.

They make the curry quite dry, which is how i like them so thats why it's my go to curry house in Harrogate. A lot of people turn their noses up because it does pizzas as well, but these lads come through from Bradford and they know what they are doing curry wise.

Phoned at 6 tonight for a delivery tonight....there was a 50 min wait but the food turned up at half 7 with a meal missing...when we phoned to tell them they said are you sure can you check its missing...i know when something is missing and why would i phone if it wasn't...i was told it would be here 15 mins we are still waiting 2 hours later...kfc have delivered quicker !!!! also we cant have a refund because they have delivered the food...disgusting will never use again

We have been getting mixed kebab but just meat in tray for couple of years now at least fortnightly before that used to get the mix on nan and have never been let down absolutely the best love it have tried from others but nothing beats khans x

A real shame! I used this place regularly, however service really has taken a dive! You call to collect your order and when you arrive you find yourself still waiting between 10 to 15 minutes for your order, what is the point in calling ahead. Placed an order for delivery and told 35 minutes but an hour and 10 minutes later no sign of the order. Poor service and will not be giving them my custom again

The chicken Korma from here can not be beaten. It is outstanding. The white rice is the best I have ever had. We never go anywhere else. 12 years a customer at Khan, Not a single complaint! Well done Khans best wishes to you all.

Had a few takeaways from here in the last few months. Korma sauce and chips is to die for, always ready on time when they say and always hot.

Just picked up our Indian takeaway and I have never seen so much grease in the bag. Everything is swimming in grease and zero flavour at all. Very disappointed will not be recommending to anyone

Love this takeaway! Great for when cant decide what to eat when my partner wants a kebab and i want a curry. The food always is spot on, your currys are delicious and you get soo much chicken for the price! Well worth a visit and the 20 min each way drive

Great tasting food every time... It's not the closest kebab shop.... But it is the best in the area!

look. this is no ordinary takeaway curry.the chef is cooking infront of you.then you savour the delights of his cooking...meat buna is my choice and chicken masala my other half choice. the chapaties are large and wonderful...in 10yrs I've had a not so good curry.that ended with a replacement the next time I went in.thats ok in my mind..in 5star restaurants have a higher return than that..also the curries freeze rather well ..give them a try you won't disappointed..the pizzas look pretty good too..keep meaning to try one..but the curry gets the better of me..

I've lived in Harrogate for over 23 years and right from coming to this great town I was advised that Khans was one of best takeaways around, offering a wide range of foods, pretty inexpensive and ideal when you can't be bothered to either cook or go out properly.In all that time I would say the food has always been a pretty good standard, the odd slightly off item but bearing in mind the price nothing to get too excited about.Unfortunately last nights pizza's and sides were inedible, dry, tasteless and really difficult to find any redeeming points - again at the price point we're talking you don't expect cordon bleu and maybe the many years of good food highlights what I hope is just an off night - but i don't think if i tried to make food that bad i could - really disappointed.

i asked for the “biggest dirtiest kebab” they made and the delivered on that part of the order they then asked me how much garlic mayo i would like on the kebab and i emphasised i wanted a good quantity by acting like a machine gun shooting it but with garlic mayo and not bullets, unfortunately i am heavily disappointed with the amount of garlic mayo i received, due to this i am only rating khans as 4 out of 5, improve the mayo skills boys.

Had a lamb kebab and a chicken tikka kebab. The lamb was really nice and there was plenty of it. But, I was expecting the chicken tikka kebab to be cooked on a grill, fresh. Instead, it got taken out of a fridge in a Tupperware box and microwaved. The taste was actually just about ok, but the meat was flaccid and pale, as you’d expect microwaved chicken to be. Shan’t be using this place again.

Ordered 2 mixed kebabs on naans for delivery. The person who took my order was very friendly and efficient i was told price and delivery estimated time. Food arrived before the delivery time. Delivery driver very friendly and polite. Food was hot and very tasty really enjoyed our meal. Highly recommended, would defiantly order from here again. All round great experience.

without a shadow of doubt, the best Naan Kebab in Yorkshire, the quality of lamb is great, but what makes this the greatest, is Khan's Garlic Mayo served with it... mix in the chilli sauce and bang! you have one awesome mouthful..... good value and will definitely leave you full up.....
