Love the food from Sage but last night the delivery took 1 hour 45 mins from order. if I had known I would have collected it. Need to be more transparent with delivery time estimations.

Something has changed with Sage and it’s not a good change, the food was nowhere as good as it was a few months ago when we had the best meal ever from them, sorry for the bad review but it really is disappointing.

I often eat from this place on take out nights. They have many options, but me being me I will usually just get the same order of chicken udon noodles with crispy chicken and spring rolls (which we usually get free for spending over a certain amount!). The food usually is fast to be prepared too. The only downside is that the food is often very salty and spicy, and last time I ordered from there I couldn’t finish my meal because of how spicy the green chilli peppers made the dish. Usually it is very good though, and when the owners were on holiday once, they saved our phone number to call us back when they were next open! Would recommend.

Consistency appears to be an issue with this place. We have had truly stunning food, utterly beautiful in fact, in the past but our most recent orders have been sub par to be kind. I am uncertain whether there has been a staffing change but whatever has happened has been to it's detriment. A shame but have no plans to use them again for the foreseeable future

Easy online selection, updates, quick delivery, and the food was very good. one of our friends said she cannot remember ever having nicer Chinese food. highly recommended.

Quick delivery and spare ribs delicious but the duck was so fatty, not crispy and tasted yuk, wouldn’t want it again disappointing.

Really disappointed. Chips were cold and wet. Sweet and Sour was lukewarm and claggy and prawn toast was cold and like cardboard. Quite clearly the food had been sat in its bag/container for a long time before it got time. What a waste of money as I couldn't eat it. It was rank.

Always hot and delicious, we never had a bad meal yet. The Billy kee prawns and Chinese chowmein are delicious choices.

Order my usual of sweet and sour chicken… the sauce was spicy? I’ve never had that before

Called restaurant twice. 50 mins late, food tepid when arrived. Not great.

Food arrived two hours and twenty minutes after ordering, which was over an hour later than the estimated time. The menu states that you receive free prawn crackers when spending over £10 and for the second week in a row I have not received any.

Extremely late and cold food. Ordered at 7.00pm arrived at 9.10pm. Restaurant was not helpful on the phone and hung up on me twice after saying it Had been delivered but couldn’t tell me when it left.

Duck was soggy but sweet and sour Cantonese chicken was great.

Food had obviously been sat for a while as the chips were soggy , main courses were warm not hot and the beef was undercooked

Mme well the owner women iam guessing there was obnoxious and attitude telling me the first time ever that chow mains didn't really come with vegetables 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️ this one came with just onions and very few spring onions ridiculous it didn't come with broccoli carrots or bean sprouts safe to say I won't be ordering from here again !!!

Food is good, staff are friendly have had takeaway a few times from here.

As always, the food was great. However, the delivery was over 90 minutes late and any contact with Sage was met with indifference. The service was utterly atrocious. I’ve used them many times, this will be the least.

Ordering on a Saturday is not an excuse for it being late. I would understand a few minutes but an hour is just plainly no care to your customers.

Hands down the best Chinese takeaway in Harrogate. Fresh food, generous portions and not at all greasy. Annoyed with myself for not trying this place sooner but will now be our regular.

As always, the quality from Sage is great. I can highly recommend the beef with ginger and spring onion.

Food was delivered quickly but the food was wrong. When we called to tell them we were told it wasn’t wrong and that we had told them the wrong order. They took no responsibility for it at all. Would not recommend .

First time I’ve eaten here on a recommendation and definitely much much better than other Chinese restaurants i’ve tried. Every item of food ordered was 100% hot and delicious. The driver apologised for being only a few minutes late…very courteous and not a problem as the food was clearly freshly cooked. 10/10!

Food arrived fast and hot. Tastiest Chinese I’ve had in Harrogate. Only let down was the char siu that was very over cooked and tough. Still very enjoyable and will definitely go back.

Food didn’t arrive at all after nearly 2 hours. Was told it was delivered at 8:45pm via the website but heard nothing from the driver. Called the restaurant at 9pm and didn’t get through after 3 attempts, finally I was told it was on its way but nothing arrived so called again 20 minutes later only to have the phone hung up on me. What a joke. Do not order from here.

Placed an order at approx 5:35 for scheduled order at 6:40. Food didn’t arrive until after 8:00. Miss managed expectations when I phoned up to enquire. I appreciate that it is a special day in the Chinese calendar but increased staffing to accommodate increased orders should have been optimized. My main dish was missing from the order. On the plus side, the quality of the food was great.

Ordered early with a later time for delivery and it still arrived late. Food wasn’t hot, pancake rolls were full of bean sprouts and no meat, special curry had hardly any meat in it and was tasteless, the whole meal was disappointing and I will not be going there again as they meal wasn’t cheap

Normally amazing but tonight the steak in black bean was like shoe leather, when I called I was told this was what I ordered. Husband called they resent still like shoe leather a real shame as this was our go to Chinese!

Chicken was undercooked which has lead to both curries unedable. Took ages to find out where my order was after it being late and no updates and wasn't even a simple sorry its busy just oh still being cook it be there soon. Would be OK if the restaurant gave the customers the updates that are needed. Wasted money on half the order won't be using again
