Jay- absolute s**t food and p*ss take prices- just trying to earn a quick ££- (please see pics) - charged £10 for each kebab!

I was warned not to go here by some locals but thought it cant be that bad, how wrong i was, i was served by a man who seemed annoyed that i was disturbing him and paid £10 for a medium chicken donner that would have been a small anywhere else, very little meat in the kebab and it came fron a pot so god knows how long it had been there the salad was old and wilted, it tasted dreadful and i chucked it after a few mouthfuls

Ordered couple kebabs one with salad which was a slice of tomato looked a week old and tiny bit of cabbage no onions or lettuce. The so called large kebab at £11 you expect a proper portion instead I had dried shredded chicken possibly been there all day ! And I end up with the left overs portion size I'd say a medium size Def not a large £11 portion, not even came with pita bread with it! Def won't be mugged off again I'm surprised this place still open just look at the reviews !! Also on the website shows a price and when you call them they say the website prices are not right ... Yeah right.... just order from another place, pleanty in Witham.

Normally excellent service and food, but donner turned up cold, wasn’t a pleasant experience this time

I only received 1 drink with 2 kids meals no apology tried to call the shop and the number doesn’t ring so couldn’t complain it’s a shambles.

Ain’t had food from here in a while as wasn’t all that last time but the food was amazing last night was that good I’m going order again.

Delivery man a little irate as it was raining, asked him to come to the ground floor window, where I was standing, four times, he ignored me, and then I think he was complaining about getting wet. Communicating not a strong point, pizza was barely warm, it was ok, not great. chips were hot. It was on time.

The food came cold and with some delay, and the burger came without salad. Sorry, but next time we'll try somewhere else.

WORST PLACE EVER!! We own our own restaurant it’s against the law to send out food that cold savorloy was still chilled from fridge, kebabs stone cold and hard, considering we ordered when they opened this tells me food is from day before. To top it off can’t get a refund and items were missing called restaurant and they put phone down on us and told us we were lying. JUST WOW Health and safety please visit this place & close it down

Long review: I’m not one to leave reviews; this is by far the worst takeaway I’ve ever ordered in my life. My mate answered the door, so he got to his first and he was disgusted by the taste of his kebab. I come downstairs and tried the donner meat and it was awful. Onto my chicken wrap with salad, dripping wet in water from the red cabbage, wrap soggy right through and the chicken was dry and horrible. The chips had no potato in them, they were like cardboard, I tried one chip and spat it out. Baffles me how they’re getting away with selling food of that standard. Short review: Only order if you’re A: Hammered. Or B: On the brink of dying from starvation and clearly karma isn’t on your side because this is your only possible food source (play it safe and go for a salad and a garlic bread)

Absolutely fuming food turns up an hour late food was stone cold had the be thrown in the bin as tried to call the place and no answer then after phone so many time it went past the closing time not happy atall absolutely disgusted how this company is being run and how they think it is acceptable to charge for food this bad

The food was absolutely disgusting, I threw it all in the bin after 1 bite, kebab meat was disgusting and also was hardly any there not that it mattered after tasting it, also ordered some baklava which must have been frozen or off or something as had a distinct off taste to it and was crunchy which was weird so again straight in the bin, the only thing I actually had out of my order was the can of drink which they got wrong as I asked for a Fanta but recieved an iron bru, honestly shocking, sad I wasted £15 quid, I would ask for my money back but will just be glad to never use the place again, absolutely shocking

Order arrived an hour and a half late and cold too, the latter of which wasn’t a surprise. I had to phone up twice for updates, not a great experience.

I remember why I don't use this place anymore. Food was revolting, it was so cold and dry. The kebab meat was hard, burnt and cold. The cheesy chips wasn't even melted it was so cold. So disappointing. Do NOT recommend at all.

Had ordered from here for the first time 2 weeks ago. Food was clean fresh tasty and well cooked. Tonight chips were cold lukewarm burger bun soft and not nice the burgers themselves all good tasty but chips and bun nah. Will use again but if no improvement I won’t. You need to be consistent and care about your food and customers.

Chicken kebab x 2 and chips all cold has to reheat before able to eat

Really fast delivery only about 15 mins. Food was all fresh hot and really tasty. Definitely order again.

I ordered and then within 5 minutes it was out delivery it was obviously food that had been sitting there and they had just chucked in the bag.

Place claimed to have tried to deliver, then when I rang them they said they tired. When I told them where I was they said they don't deliver to the address even though they have been here on multiple occasions, when I told the person on the phone about this they said oh yeah OK . The Tarasamalta was served in a burger box which went everywhere and tasted like the polystyrene it was served in. The food was stone cold when it arrived.

Restaurant packed a small dip (2 tablespoons) of hummus for 2.5 instead of the usual normal pot they do. When my husband called they tried to say that's what they do now because its labeled as 'dip,no apology and no explanation. If you look at their menu the other dips are £0.50p. Honestly abysmal. This is our last order from them. Horrible customer service.

Ordered a chicken dinner, got a lamb dinner and food was late

despite placing an order for a given hour, the food arrived one hour earlier. which meant I had to eat cold food during a break at work

Missing half of the meat from the mixed kebab. Dry pitta bread with a bit of red cabbage and onion for £11.

My donner kebab was horrible I couldn’t eat it, I usually love a donner kebab but tonight it was not that nice, the meat just tasted weird and was all chewy so I’m very disappointed I diddnt get to eat no dinner. Delivery was early

Always great food from Essex Fast Food, have used them for years and never an issue. Staff always friendly and cheerful. Best chicken kebabs ever🙂

Waited a hour and a half for it to arrive. Called once it was 5 mins late to be told it would be another 10 mins, Once arrived it was cold and not enjoyable at nearly 10 at night. Complained but got nothing from the restaurant. Just eat gave me a £5 credit. Won’t be using this restaurant again.

First time ordering, food was excellent, piping hot and we will be back again!

Chips were soft and cold, very unpleasant. Chicken nuggets were also soggy and had a leathery feel to them. Onion rings soggy too.

Absolutely horrible didn’t have a single chicken nuggets or burger I’ve ordered a burger and that say they don’t have any burgers and then I order chicken nuggets instead don’t have any of them either so I had to order a chicken burger that I don’t even like

The food arrived incredibly late, considering what we ordered. Delivery driver was driving around with our food, didn’t answer the phone, neither did the ‘restaurant’ food was inedible due to the lateness.

Chips were dry like they’d been sitting for ages, delievered after time frame and portion sizes a lot smaller compared to usual.

Restaurant took no notice of special requests and therefore food arrived un-edible because it was not as requested.

Was approx an hour delivery time from time of order which is crazy as it was 4.20pm then still didn't arrive till almost 5.45 pm

Burgers were very tasty, but not hot - in fact everything was lukewarm - we had to microwave the chips. Garlic bread had almost zero flavour, and chip portions were pretty measly.

Dry chicken, really old greesy chips .. it was a knightmare, never again
