Essex Fast Food in Braintree

Ordered couple kebabs one with salad which was a slice of tomato looked a week old and tiny bit of cabbage no onions or lettuce. The so called large kebab at £11 you expect a proper portion instead I had dried shredded chicken possibly been there all day ! And I end up with the left overs portion size I'd say a medium size Def not a large £11 portion, not even came with pita bread with it! Def won't be mugged off again I'm surprised this place still open just look at the reviews !! Also on the website shows a price and when you call them they say the website prices are not right ... Yeah right.... just order from another place, pleanty in Witham.

Absolutely horrible didn’t have a single chicken nuggets or burger I’ve ordered a burger and that say they don’t have any burgers and then I order chicken nuggets instead don’t have any of them either so I had to order a chicken burger that I don’t even like

Worst food ever, don't go there, cold food, missing food, rude on the phone when ringing up, I wouldn't feed it to my dog, refused a refund so now my partner is out of pocket £18 and we have no dinner

Ordered food when it arrived chips were dry and cold cheese not even melted. The Donner meat in the kebab was burnt and very dry. When calling up was told they are jot a 5 star rating. Shocking attitude from a business owner.

Do nit use !!!! Waited 2 hours fir 2 kebabs ....cold...called to advise...came back after half hour without replacement food,!! Then delivered 2nd time 20 mins later ...no sauce no salad...rang asked to speak to the manager who was soooo rude asked me what I wanted him to do about it!!!! He was Busy and cant waste time bringjng me my money back!!! Rude rude rude,,,, we have used this shop for years but will not ever use them ever again!!!! My daughter called to ask why so rude to me and the manager kicked off at her!!! Discusting!!! Beare!!

Food was great, service was great as they have conversations etc. Very very good, highly recommend! Only very very small moan is very rarely their chips may be reheated.

Disgusting kebabs. Had to wait for over 2 hours for food. Cold when arrived,wanted chilli, didn't get it. Ordered large chicken kebab but looked small, burnt dry chicken. Not a lot of salad and no red cabbage. Rude people when I asked for my money back as this had happened to me on the last 3 orders. Will never go there again.

Terrible worst kebab I’ve ever ever had the chicken was not cooked as they pretended it was and was so over cooked and chewy quite clearly these liars had just reheated old chicken. It literally made me sick I wouldn’t go back here for all the money in the world. They should be ashamed! Disgusting place please do not go here but I promise them this if I ever go past I’ll be calling in so you can give me my money back!!! Never use this place unless you want to be lied to and then poisoned!!!

Don't use them if you have kids they would probably wake kids up as we have just order from there and the delivery man had hammerd on the door and thought it was funny and thought he was all hard man but he not he diidnt have patience to let us get to the door just hammerd on the door and laugh when opening I will be ringing the store and putting a complaint we are not happy about this there not normally like this.

If anybody’s thinking of ordering from Essex fast food I wouldn’t, we ordered our food at 7:40, it took over an hour to turn up, when it did turn up it was freezing cold so my dad rung them and the response was ‘what do you want us to do about it, it’s cold outside’ no refund was offered and they got our order wrong, the man on the end of the phone is rude, and obviously don’t care for their customers!!!

Food was a disgrace the staff where rude to me when I sent food back. The pizza they delivered was a shop bought 1. And they refused a refund.never again. This is what they sent me

Well, for a before work treat my boyfriend and I took ourselves to town to get a take out. Essex fast food is not all it is cracked up to be. The premesis itself is dirty and dingy, the back of it we've seen rats and it absolute filth. But thats not all, the staff can barely understand you, you have to talk in simple terms just to order a portion of chips OH and they're not polite to talk to anyway. The food. I can honestly say their chips and Doner Kebab meat is delicious, however, if I was you I'd avoid the under cooked, foul smelling chicken, unless you want to end up like we did feeling like the sickness would never ever ever end. The pizza as well is pathetic, greasy, barely any toppings and the cheese just does not taste right.

Pizza was barely warm when it arrived. Topping was pretty much not existent, cheese was horrible. A cheap supermarket pizza would be better than this pizza. Never again. I will stick to pizza mania or dominos in future.

the chicken had blood on the bone still chips were horrible the fish was hard and over cooked I diddnt eat it

They forgot our bottle of coke and made up for it by bringing a bottle of coke and extra food straight away, very good service and the food is lovely. Would definitely eat here again

Three cold burnt pizzas they even tried to cut the burnt bits off. Had to wash my mouth out afterwards. Driver was rude and wheel spun off when he left. Avoid

The offer included a free garlic bread, it did not have it. My wife even asked the driver and he responded with 'its in the bag'.... It was certainly NOT .

DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM HERE it was absolutely disgusting cold pizza late waited hour and a half paid £15 for food that I cannot even eat!! I WANT A REFUND!

Had to ring twice for delivery but was told they were short staffed.

I put our order to be deliverd for 9.15pm as my husband was at work and they delivered at 8.30 so it all went cold and was horrible when it had to be reheated

Ok so I didn't know that you must request in the comment section if you do not want salad on your kebab so all was well up until my fella wouldn't eat it cos it was covered in purple juice. So I asked for a replacement. Which took an hour to come BUT none the less it was free. So thank you

so I ordered it at 15:30 and it said it will be ordered it at 16:25 but no it was ordered at 17:10, the worst part was that the food was warm and soggy but when I put it on my plate sat down it was cold and soggy! I will never be ordering from here again

The food was cold! Not sure what the meat was but put it straight in the bin. The pitta bread was rock hard not edible. Not impressed

All round a well priced, cooked and presented meal.

Got a notification to say my food was on it's way and it didn't turn up until 35 minutes later (15 mins later than estimated time) stone cold. Salad on the kebab was poor and I asked for chilli sauce and didn't get any

Chips were hard and was as if they'd been sat there half a day.. chicken burger wasn't all that. My sons nuggets weren't great, his beans had spilt all over his chips on the journey to us (which he hates mixing foods) and his chips also looked like they'd sat there half the day. Disappointed.

Lamb was very tough and chewy - couldn't eat some of it. Very disappointed as the food here is usually very good. Last nights meal was poor.

The man who answered the phone was very rude and it took 2 hours for our food to be delivered not to say it was cold!!!!

Very good quality food, would rate the pizza above that of Dominoes and Pizza Hut.

Ordered at just gone 8:30pm - estimated delivery time was 9:20pm & our order was delivered before 9pm. Brilliant service.

No chips with order, no chilli sauce on chicken kebab!!! Surely it's not that hard to read an order from a screen, I guess there's no checking method in place to ensure an order is correct and I now have a three year old who's still waiting for her dinner. I get charged 50p to pay by card and £1 for delivery of an incorrect order, where's the reason in that and I think I should get a refund to the card!!

Food was excellent and delivered 30 minutes early which was great as we were very hungry. The only criticism would be we feel the large chips could be a bit larger.

We have been ordering from Essex Fast food for years, however tonight's food was stone cold! Would not recommend a take away when you have to microwave 3 out of 4 meals! It appears to have gone down hill over the last few months!.

I ordered it for 6.30pm when I finish work but it arrived at 5.15pm. My daughter had hers but when I got home at 6.30pm mine was cold ☹️

Gutted tonight it was freezing cold when delivered and took an hour and half to arrive. Yet ordered from there before but tonight a real let down putting us off ordering again

Waited 1 hour 15 minutes for cold food. Complained and promised an instant replacement ......... over another hour passes and still nothing. Call again and complain about ordering food and waiting 2 and a half hours for it just ain't on. Told by restaurant to collect food if i want to. Appalling service and hugely disappointing.

The delivery was an arrogant man. Never will order again.

I have order at 20:00 but they deliver at 18:45. I returned. So you delivered same food its reheated its not good👎

Order got accepted on just eat when they were open, never turned up. Went to restaurant and it was shut. Turned up 12 hours later when they re opened the restaurant. Not happy. No apology, nothing. The driver just swore and stormed off and slammed the stairwell door. Was a good customer and so were my friends and family. Not anymore because of the rude service from delivery man.

My only gripe was requesting some garlic sauce and not receiving it

I got myself and my 5 kids dinner tonight it was really great food me and the kids loved it don't just do kebabs they do great kids meals so happy we got it from there and you can taste the chicken and lamb and kofte and fried chicken are fresh love it be having it again

The pizza was under cooked and the topping was no longer on the pizza. Maybe the driver needs to slow down going round corners! The rest of the order was ok.

Pizza&agaric bread burnt to a charcoal crisp garlic bread not even edible. Large chips such a tiny portion 4 people ended up with 10chips each kebab very small only just cooked and soggy . Called restaurant they said no charge and money would be put back in to account but the money wasn't so I've paid £19 for a burnt meal

Chicken shish kebab was burnt, no chilli sauce as requested, chips also overdone dissapointing will not order from here again

Have had amazing kebabs from here, ordered pizzas this time. Sadly they were all overcooked (even burnt in places) and dry. The chips were also cold by the time they got to us. Will stick to kebabs from this place in future

I be more happy if my order was right and they would send me a burger that I did not want and had to you them ask them to give your money back and they don't turn up thanks a lot

Delivery came nice and quick and was about half Hour before the time they gave me... got kebab and 3 piece chicken... unfortunately the chicken was cold all through :( kebab was alright tho

The small kebab was tiny, crammed into one of those small polystyrene takeaway containers so it was all sweaty as well and the food was cold when it arrived .... definitely won't be ordering from here again....

Absolutely atrocious!!!! Food was half an hour late and stone cold, pizza was burnt on edges and not cooked in the middle. Phoned to advise and had to bargain with them for a refund would not recommend at all! Ended up going to the local chip shop for a nice dinner which was tasty and hot!

Arrived on time. Unfortunately it was cold. Generous portions on the plus side.

Food was cold and delivered 15 mins after the scheduled time. I ordered beans which were in a sauce pot and the smallest portion of beans I have ever seen. Given up on Just Eat now as last three times I have used it food is late and cold.

Chips were reheated and stale, the cod was as good as that which comes frozen and can be made at home & the burgers had no taste of beef, minimal salad inside the burger, the bun was burnt black and the 'special' sauce was not special at all. Very disappointed as I 87% of it in the bin.
