I recently moved to the area and after reading previous reviews about Tommy’s, I decided to give it a try. I had a lovely conversation with Ibrahim inside, and it's clear that he genuinely cares about customer satisfaction. I ordered a large cod and chips, and the portions were generous. The cod was delicious – perfectly cooked with a light batter that wasn’t heavy or oily. The chips were good, though I prefer mine a bit more well-done with a crunchier exterior, which is just my personal preference. I’m sure if I had asked, they could have accommodated that. I don’t usually order takeout, but I’d definitely visit again!

I'd just come back from holiday, and didn't want to cook, I'm not a techy person, so don't normally do stuff online that much, but fancied fish and chips, thought I'd give this ago, it said would b ready for collection in 10 mins, and it was bang on time. Great customer service in there aswell, very welcoming, and the food was generous and tasted amazing, will defo order this way again.

First time ordering here last night got the lamb & chicken Donner kebab £14. Portion size was tiny...the lamb was nice the chicken was undercooked so half went in the bin. Kebab wasn't put in a container just wrapped in paper so it's soaking wet from the grease by the time you get home and out the bag. Definitely the last time I'll use this place

Had an amazing cod and chips today from Tommy Tuckers in Witham, the cod was cooked to perfection , not too over cooked , just right. The portion sizes were very good value for money. Lastly, the guys were very friendly chatting to their customers and making everyone feel very welcome….thank you for a fab meal, I will be back.

Cold chips & tasteless sausage. Overpriced for what I was given. My last visit I went to Churchills they were expensive but at least it wasn’t cold.

Tried this place for the first time after moving nearby. I was excited after seeing the good reviews so I went and got myself the doner kebab, chips with garlic mayo & chilli sauce. My worst regret was the chilli sauce. It shouldn’t be allowed to be called that, it was incredibly sweet with zero spice. Was annoying because my food was drenched in it so struggled to eat around it. Gave a 3 on this occasion but I would definitely come back again as long as you change your sauce for the people that like heat! Chips were cooked nicely & so was the kebab 😊

Went here for a meal with family had a bit of a wait but as a employee of a similar service I expected a wait but the food to me was worth it however main complaint I have is in the description of the chicken shredded not in chunks as expected of a shish kebab even still food was delicious

Food wasn't bad, nice size portions and reasonably priced too. On the downside was the waiting time for our takeaway. No one else was in the shop as I ordered our chicken and chips. It was almost 20 minutes before I got the food - in that time, a number of other customers came in, ordered their food, had it freshly cooked and left before I got ours. Yes, I know it was cooked fresh, was hot etc but too long a wait in my opinion - the server did apologise for the time it took. This has put me off using Tommy Tucker's for a takeaway in the future.

Lovely place to get fish and chips! After moving to the area I was on the lookout for the best fish and chips, and Tommy Tucker's has come out on top. They do the best fish and chips around, the staff are always friendly and the portion sizes are great. The food is always freshly cooked and hot. I look forward to my next meal here and recommend to others 😊

Popped here to get Chicken Donner meat and chips and Lamb Donner meat and chips. We purchased medium ones and they were enormous!

I have been coming to Tommy Tuckers for over ten years and they have ALWAYS been absolutely brilliant. Fantastic food, fair prices and fantastic staff. Would recommend to anyone living in Witham or just visiting.

Excellent service. We ordered nearly 50 fish suppers for our Church quiz night. Food was ready for collection, on time and hot for our guests to enjoy back at the hall Everyone enjoyed the food and made the Quiz night a success. Will do more quiz nights and always use Tommy Tucker for the supper

Ordered online at 5.15ish with a collection time of 6pm. Arrived on time to be told “give me 5 minutes” I had to wait a further 20 mins for my mixed kebab. So 25 minutes late. Food was ok not that hot. What’s the point in giving a collection time if you can’t meet it. & this is the second time this has happened
