Chicken burger was hard There was a long hair in my burger 🤮 And the chips were gritty Such a shame I like this place but this time it was absolutely disgusting I’m disappointed

Just had an incomplete order of no full salad or sauce on my kebab as asked for it online, called to ask where said salad and sauce is to get a not so friendly female or helpful staff member. Said short of drivers and said don’t know when they can deliver, and blaming us for it, also delivery driver went to wrong door. Won’t be going there again. Used to do a lot of business there, and everybody check your orders at the door 😡

Everyone is store is super friendly, I can always have a great conversation while I'm waiting for my food. Food has always been 100% spot on. 5*

What u would expect a kebab WRAP to be, simply isn’t! So the price for a kebab wrap is exactly the same as a normal kebab, only they shove half the meat and 25% the salad of that of a normal kebab, into a wrap the size of a standard chicken wrap. A chicken wrap is £4.90, a kebab wrap is £8.50, yet there is absolutely zero difference in volume food whatsoever. TOTAL SCAM. U lot might wanna YouTube what a gyro wrap SHOULD look like and learn how to cook.

First time I order from here and the order is wrong if a meal is ordered with no salad then that is what I expect to get but my meal was covered in it and it ruined my meal will not be eating here again.

Won’t be ordering again from USA chicken in Halstead Essex. Very disappointed with my experience this evening: 1. Food arrived 10 mins later than guaranteed time. 2. Food luke warm. 3. Missing details on chips, (no sauce but requested bbq) 4. Partners pizza missing. When explaining this to the driver, he informed my partner to ring the shop. Tried to ring but no one answered (ringing 50 times) very disappointed and definitely won’t be recommending this place to anyone

First and last time I use this takeaway, greasy cold chips, greasy grizzle (sorry I meant lamb) dry salad and a pot of sauce the size of a thimble. Would rather of eaten my work boots. Avoid this place unless you like wasting your money

As I said before in my reviews it’s a hit and miss with them. I have give them another chance after a long time but nothing changed. I ordered something and I received what they wanted. Promise to myself that I will never do that mistake again. Good luck to everyone that wants to try them.

One of my favourite local takeaways. Quite cheap, range if food, delivery under an hour on average, child friendly food, easy customisation options Have had the wrong food delivered a couple of times but after explaining the issue has been corrected everytime

Although I’ve read bad reviews about takeaways from here, I believe in speaking as I find. Well tonight we found that we won’t be using this Company again. After getting our order wrong and initially trying to deny blame, when they did turn up with the correct items, they asked for the wrong ones back. I was happy to give them my black bag to pick out the wrong order but instead, he accused us of eating the original and then wanting two more free ones !!!! Mate, your food isn’t that good that I would want double portions. You need to brush up on your Customer Service or you won’t have any customers left !

We've been using this place for many years now and enjoy the food a lot. The staff have changed in this time period and imho is the best for quite a while. They seem the work well as a team meaning less waiting times at the busiest times. There have been a few bad reviews here about incorrect orders but remember mistakes can happen and when we have had the misfortune of having an order incorrectly prepared the staff gave been excellent at making it right The food is very well presented and tasty to say the least. Our usual choice is the large bbq based neat feast pizza which is topped high with freshly prepared ingredients Parking is available either just down the road or in the main carpark in Butler Road It has always been clean and continuous cleaned on my previous visits and it's nice to see different knives and clothes being used from raw chicken to cooked so no cross contamination. In my opinion this place deserves a well earned 5 stars. Well done guys keep up the hood work

5 Donna kebab wraps all gone on the bin swimming with oil the grease was dripping and running out of the wraps chips were crusty £45 in the bin AVOID

Food is terrible people who work there are rude my kebab was chewy and cold and gristley i then rung them up after spending my money already to tell them about it for the rude guy to tell me its fine and its my fault as i must of had it in the cold baring in mind i live 2 minutes from the shop absolutely Shocking people avoid at all cost ive ordered a few times and even the chicken they sell is as dry as the sahara dessert. New owners have taken over (perhaps last 12 months or so ish?) and there has been something wrong each time. Have given them the benefit of the doubt but enough is enough now. We’ve had incomplete delivery’s arrive, pizzas with missing or wrong toppings - even collected one night at 6:10PM, food still wasn’t ready at 6:30, was promised it would be 5 minutes then at 6:40 someone told us our food had been ‘dropped on the floor’ and was being remade. If you call up to say somethings missing, they just say ‘remind us next time and we won’t charge you for it’ - so someone in your party has no food and they have your money. Sadly won’t be going here anymore, have done a for a long, long time.

Although the food is always quite good for the price, it's a lottery if you get the correct food. Orders do seem to have bits missing or wrong quite often. I would still recommend it though for its reasonable cost to quality of food ratio.

I have tried for 5 times in 4 months and always I had a problem with them. I never eat what I order. It’s always a big surprise when you get home and open the food they give me. Do yourself a big favour and go to different places. It’s a hit and miss with them.

Dripping with oil, chips were soaked, food was cold, very disappointed and total waste of money.

I understand they get busy but always wait for a long time for the order. Not the best food either sometimes it's ok but catch them on a bad day can be terrible. Best avoid this place at the weekend as it seems to be the worst time for service. Staff probably get alot of abuse but they probably deserve alot of it alot of improving is needed here before I return.

Always had a good experience apart from tonight , large chicken kebab taken out of the warming pot - not fresh straight of the grille , took straight home maybe 2 minutes away . First cold to warm kebab I’ve had from there . Did not enjoy it as not hot as I’ve always had before. Never had one not fresh of the grille cooked in front of me while I waited Kinda put me off . ☹️ Just read under new ownership, while I waited 10 skewers of chicken kebab meat out in the grille , I’m guessing for the warming pot . Would rather wait and have fresh hit of the grille .

Gone downhill massively since the new ownership. Customer service is an absolute joke, staff are rude. Every single order I've made since the change of hands has been wrong. Definitely not eating from here anymore. Response to Owner: I did call in, I explained to 3 different people in the shop the issue. My order was SO simple, I only ordered a half pound burger meal and cheesy chips. I even called you after receiving my order telling you how you got it wrong to see what you guys would offer to do. There was no offer of anything so I told you that I wouldn't order again from yourselves and you lost a regular customer.

The food was fine and had ok taste however the service I received from the staff was pretty horrid. Any requests I made, felt like it was too much to ask and I also had a feeling they were talking about me in their own language as they whispered to each other after I had requested something. I was just felt like I wasn't wanted in the shop and I was out of place. I won't be going back there. I also felt the place looked dingey and old and not well looked after. Whether this is something that could be potentially reflect in the food and the way it's handled I have no idea but it's not a very good impression at all.

Chicken was poor quality was mostly bone and grissle. Everything we ordered was stone cold. We also have had our can of 7up missing. Waste of money.

Have used this takeaway for about 5 years and the last two meals have been awful Just finally had our chicken and pizza tonight after having to chase the shop twice and thrown it away Chips sweated and cold , chicken aneamic and where sweated skin was hanging off all soggy and pizza had that much salt in it inedible £22 wasted Will not order again Really gone downhill

Second order with missing items in the last 3 orders, I’m done now I think with this place. Waited 2 hours and was really hungry so when it eventually did arrive….. Just had a combination kebab delivered ….. with NO meat in it just a box of salad, when I called no apologies nothing manager just said “I’ll send it” so the meat did arrive later but it was too late by then and none of sauces I ordered either! It went in the dog , thanks £16.50 stated on the website but charged £18:40 at the door as well , double kick in the nuts . Last time they put it right gave me a refund and an apology, not this time they could not have cared less , so don’t bother in my opinion, I’ll not be spending money here again.

My other half and I have lived I halstead for a long time and we find we never have a problem with USA chicken.. The Pizzas are brilliant . Sorry dominos, these guys beat you on flavor and value for money. . Never had a issue with USA chicken .

Grim! £16 for 2 x chicken burger meals and 6 hot wings. Overpriced and low quality. This is a 3am chicken shop after a club not a decent place at all. Chips were soggy, burger average at best. Ketchup is that cheap red sauce that is 90% sugar. Wouldn't reccomend it at all. Shame as just moved to the area and was looking forward to trying this place. 1star

Honestly wouldn't give the lamb shish to a dog. Chewy and inedible, when complained told we could have a free kebab next time then what a shock- there's no recollection of it when we come to ask for it. Absolute joke of a takeaway

My large chicken kebab contains 6 bits of chicken I got more salad than anything. £850 is a joke for what you get would hate to see the small one. This is not the 1st time had problems with them and won’t be going back now

3 hours for a delivery when we got told 1 hour. Shocking customer service. Rang up to ask where it was and they hadn’t even cooked it 2 hours after ordering. On the 3rd hour rang again for them to tell me they was just starting to cook it, for them to then swear down the phone when I said I didn’t want it anymore. Disgusting attitude

Tried for the first time and we are a coeliac family, and the food was superb. We purchased Chicken Shish and a Chicken Special without sauce and no pitta bread. No chips. Chicken and vegetables were cooked superbly and the salads not greasy at all. After speaking to the guy behind the counter we explained the gluten intolerance he said "call me if anything is wrong". Nothing was wrong. It was superb. Food ready in 5 mins flat! Will be revisiting quite soon. Thanks guys.

Nightmare to contact rang twice because I was convinced the girl had not heard correctly, Order was still completely wrong compounded by the fact it was cold and tasteless I have never given bad review before for food but this is the first and last time I will ever use a usa chicken Again!

As you can tell by the reviews there is a issue with delivery they are always late and food is cold have stopped ordering from them now and make my own lol shame. Not sure what they are up to as in same town so should not arrive cold.

Edit: After explaining the reasons for the delay with our delivery i have to say USA chicken have done everything possible to make sure we are happy with the service they provide. They definitely do care about their customers and i am satisfied with how the situation has been resolved, which we are delighted about seeing as this has been our favourite takeaway for the past two years!

Awful. Waited two hours. Food was cold. Order was wrong. Tried ringing but not answering the phones. Ordered a double chicken burger and expected two bits of fillet chicken but got four chicken strips for £6.50. So wont be using again. Used it once or twice a week if we had people here. Lost a good customer. Husbands kebab was cold and dry. Was trying to ring them to say come and pick up the food but no answer.
