The prices are great for the quality and portion sizes, making it an incredible value. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Food cooked fresh great experience

Ordered food from here yet nearly 2 hours have passed and still no food!? Delivery is SLOW . Gave them a call to see where it was after an hour their reply the driver was on their way…… another 45 mins go by call back to be told driver now leaving??!! had i not already paid by card i would have cancelled and gone somewhere else!! Next time i will order from another shop and avoid this one at all costs!! NEVER AGAIN 😡

Love it, love it love it, so sorry to see it go, I would love them to find another building in leeds. If not I shall travel to White rose shopping centre.

We are in the area for a weekend break got told by my family no cooking read reviews for this fish and chip shop online they were all mainly good pulling up outside it looked empty one down the road was really busy so glad we went to this one best fish and chips and sausage and chips meal we have had for a long time we will be back when in the area

I was attracted by the smell of the youth hostel I stayed in nearby, so I bought some chicken wings. I didn’t expect that at such a price, I could buy chicken wings that are so crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and not too salty. The boss is an interesting person. , I feel like I not only bought fried chicken but a box of deliciousness and joy, highly recommended. Staying at a nearby hostel, I was drawn in by the aroma and decided to buy some chicken wings. I was surprised that, at this price, I could get that are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of collagen . The seasoning is just right—not too salty. The owner is a delightful person, and I feel like I got not just a box of fried chicken, but a box of deliciousness and joy. Highly recommended!

Probably the best fish and chip shop in the area. I ordered last night Sat 1st Nov, a Haddock and a Plaice, large chips, curry sauce and a mushy peas, yes it was expensive at just over £25, but it was absolutely delicious, the fish were cooked perfectly and not over cooked and dry. My Plaice was delicious with not too much heavy batter, which I like. Just perfect. I love their curry sauce as well because it is different to other shops. If you want perfect fish and chips go to The Chip Shed in Minchinhampton. Their chips are the best! 😋😊👌

Chips aren’t always fresh and they’re sometimes a bit dry, burgers and kebabs are absolutely amazing tho. Tables are sometimes a bit dirty and greasy The workers are really nice and welcoming and social-able. Would be a 5star but the chips aren’t always fresh which is a bit annoying, the chips are either great or terrible. I’ve ordered from here loads of times and sometimes the chips have tasted really fresh and tasty and other times they’ve tasted really dry

Stopped very late on a sat evening. Girl serving was wonderful, friendly and couldn't do enough. Food (fish supper) was cooked to perfection and we will definitely be back

Got a lunchtime special,the fish was 2parts stuck together,I've researched it and they call it a "jockey" wasn't a nice experience! Disappointing experience 😞

Food Rating Fish - 9.5/10 Chips 8.5/10 I have to say, the quality of the fish and chips was great. Let me add, that it was cod, not plaice, not basa or any other white fish some chips shops try and swap it with. The taste and texture of the fish was good. The chips were fantastic, it's not often I have standard chips and think mmmm, these are good. The reason they didn't get a slightly higher score, was because I had other chips that I preferred that just popped them on that front.

The chicken was very delicious, and the staff was friendly. The prices were reasonable. I highly recommend them.

Food was terrible. Fish tasted old chips greasy. Have eaten before and its been lovely. Wouldn't go back again after yesterday's food.

Almost had to scream at the guy for a normal portion of vegetables. Being tight is a compliment for the sweetcorn counting franchise. Such a shame as the food was good.
