My go to on line Chippy! Good clean well prepared food no matter what you order and with a large fish Meaning a large fish you can't go wrong. Onyx are Always on time , the food is Always hot and I cannot recommend them enough ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ in my opinion. 💯

Sunday 2nd August 2020 had a group booking for 16 and every single one of us was well disappointed. Been here a few times but this was really bad . Spent £400. Starters were ok but mains meals were a joke. We got the usual saucer sized dish with one roast potato one tiny floret of broccoli and cauli and tiny bits of carrot. Over half the plate was empty . Then to top it all off 4 of our 16 chose cheesecake and every one was frozen solid . What a joke. Also there was no social distancing there were 4 more tables with 4 people on making it 36 people in the small room on the right . I noticed the even smaller room on the left near the bar was packed solid. Staff wore masks and there was hand gel available but we didn’t feel safe . Visit here at your peril . We certainly won’t ever go again .

Normally have no problems with this place. Made an order at 6pm on line for 815 delivery. Received an email at 8pm saying a problem with the order and to call, no answer on phone so we are now left without any meal!!!!

Went to best friend's wedding reception here yesterday really impressed went all out and what a lovely couple very friendly couldn't do enough for you really good food aswell

Food never arrived after waiting for an hour and half then just didn’t pick up the phone.

Went to the bothy today for afternoon tea, the food was very good the service very friendly and the prosecco very very delicious. It has been a lovely afternoon

In my opinion the best chinese food in the area

When booking, I was asked if we had any allergies. We didn’t have, but I informed the lady asking, that I didn’t like eggs. On the day of the tea, someone rang to clarify once again that it wasn’t an allergy. Great customer service and reassuring to those that have I would imagine. We have visited here for afternoon tea on numerous occasions. Once again, the staff were both very friendly and helpful, ensuring that everything was fine and replenishing our tea, when needed. Our sandwiches were lovely and fresh as was our scone, ( could have done with another pot of jam). However, on this occasion, I felt that the sweet treats fell a little short. The usual lemon mouse cheesecake in the shot glass , had been replaced with a caramel mouse in a cup, which for our taste, was overpowering. The usual delicious cakes, were replaced by 3 pieces of tray bakes, ( one, a mint square, was quite unpleasant) and a cream meringue ( which was nice ). Personally, I would prefer one less sweet treat, and replaced by a savoury treat. When booking the deluxe tea, you also each get a small bottle of Prosecco each which is nice.

Pre booked snug for family birthday of 8. Was great. Table service. Promptly served. Food was delicious. 8 different meals delivered together. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Would recommend and will be returning ourselves regularly

Ordered two meals from the senior menu offering either 2 or 3 courses. Placed order for first course which arrived in good time. Meal seemed good value. Went to order our desert and was told we had only paid for one course. On checking, we had only been charged for one course even though there is no option for this on the senior menu. We accepted a misunderstanding was made and requested to pay the extra to add a pudding. We were told this was not possible as the desert order had to be placed at the same time. After reasoning that there is no option to order a one course meal on the menu, we were told that the terms and conditions stated you had to order courses together. On checking the menu, including all the T and C's on the back (we have photographs), Nowhere does it indicate a price for a single course Or, that the 2nd course has to be ordered at the same time. Aware that most restaurants like an opportunity to be made aware of any issues, we asked to speak to the manager and she advised that she was the manager and would not entertain any further discussion. Very disappointing service and a manager with no common sense. Quoting lines from a menu that don't exist. Owner of Rockingham arms must also accept responsibility for not making menu clearer. A sham of a restaurant that can't even serve two scoops of ice cream right.

Typical Morrisons supermarket. Clean, some good offers.

The food was perfect and the girl who served was polite and helpful. But the toilets were filthy and I did see one person handing back a burger as it was pink(which the staff admitted to).
